  • Since the Korea-Vietnam FTA was signed in 2015, trade between the two countries has increased rapidly, accounting for 6.8% of Vietnam's exports and 17.9% of its imports in 2020. The two countries show differences in import and export items. Vietnam has a high export ratio of agri-food products or products with the low-middle level of technology, while Korea has a high export ratio of products with the upper-middle level. The purpose of this study is to present implications by analyzing changes in trade competitiveness between Vietnam and Korea by technology level (2002-2020). For this purpose, statistics from UN Comtrade were used, and methodologies such as market share, Export Market Share (EMS), Trade Specialization Index (TSI), Intra-Industrial Trade Index (IIT), Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA), and BCG Matrix were used. The results of the study are as follows. First, when looking at Vietnam's trade structure with South Korea by technology level, it was analyzed that the trade deficit widened as it showed a competitive disadvantage in high-tech, ICT, middle- and low-level technology items, excluding low-end technology items. Second, in terms of market share, the market share of Vietnamese products in the Korean market is continuously increasing, while the Korean market share in Vietnam is gradually decreasing from 2017. Third, Vietnam's export competitiveness to Korea by technology level shows that low-level technologies are competitive, but they are inferior in competitiveness in all other technology level, and especially in areas with high technology level, the level of inferiority is high. In conclusion, the trade relationship between Vietnam and Korea has maintained a mutually complementary rather than competitive relationship, which is expected to continue in the future.

  • This paper proposes a new digital filter implementation which adopts an identical structure at both behavioral and logic level in top-down design. This methodology is based on the observation that multiplication is a form of convolution and carrying, and therefore multiplication is implemented with the same structure as that of a convolution in a recursive manner at the logic level. In order to demonstrate a recursive structure-based FIR digital filter, we select L-tap transposed and systolic FIR filters, and implement them to have a single structure. The proposed filter design becomes regular and modular because of the recursive adoption of a single structure for convolutions, and is very compact in that it needs only two 1-bit I/O ports in addition to significant improvement on hardware complexity without time penalty on the output sequence.

  • This paper deals with the evaluation problem of complex systems by introducing a fuzzy approach. The authors are functionally supposing a hierarchical structure model of a complex system and give light on the following problems. First for the purpose of clarifying the characteristics of measures the property and differences between two method such as linear and fuzzy viewpoint are discussed through two level-down evaluation process. Second the integrated evaluation process which keeps reversibility between hierarchical levels is discussed and obtained some necessary conditions for reversibility of fuzzy evaluation. From these results it is expected that the fuzzy approach overcomes partly the limitation of reductionism at the hierarchical evaluation of complex systems.

  • This paper proposes a basic implementation of bi-directional transition system between Korean and Japanese. The syntactic structure of Korean language is very similar to that of Japanese. In order to use the same main program for bi-directional translation, system is classified into two parts. One is directly translatable part and the other is untranslatable part by direct matching because of different structure. Solving these problems, the syntactic and semantic informations control bi-directional interpreting process and make equivalent syntactic level between two languages.

  • For the fractional factorial designs, the resolution-IV designs can be used when we want to estimate the main effects and to investigate the structure of the non-negligible two-factor interaction effects, when the three-factor and higher order interaction effects are all negligible. However we need to add the additional treatment combination in order to identify the influential interactions for the resolution-IV fracrtional factorial designs. In this paper we investigate the statistical structure for 3-level resolution-IV designs constructed by fold-over scheme and introduce a method for analyzing the influential two-factor interactions.

  • This study Questioned what happens in L2 reading comprehension of the expository text, as measured by recall and inference-making abilities, when a L2 reader was induced to develop a content schema about the topic of a target text, but the structure of that schema departs from the structure of the target text Seventy-four. Korean university students read either the same version text twice (consistent condition) or two different version texts (inconsistent condition) with a three-day interval between the two readings. The results of a verification test indicate that, for those subjects with higher L2 reading proficiency, the inconsistent condition was more beneficial than the consistent condition for the inference-making task. On the other hand, for lower-level L2 readers, the consistent condition was more favorable for the recall task. It was concluded that inducing a structurally inconsistent schema through an L2 pre-reading would be beneficial only when the reader's L2 linguistic ability is proficient enough to produce necessary propositions from the pre-reading.

  • This study investigated the relationship between young children's comprehension and story making(narrative) by age and gender. Subjects were 109 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds at two child care centers in K Province. Data were analyzed by two-way ANOVA and simple regression analysis. Results showed differences in comprehension between 3-, 4- and 5-year old children and differences in story making ability between 3- and 5-year-old children. Children's comprehension and story making had positive relationships. Specifically, there were significant relationships with children's comprehension and story construct concept, sentence structure level, language(vocabulary and sentence structure). In sum, the results of this study reveal that young children's comprehension ability is partially related to story making ability by age.

  • The scope of this cable works was as follows, it was drilled two shafts, NO. 1 shaft (${\phi}6.8m{\times}31m$), NO.2 shaft (${\phi}6.8m{\times}33m$), ) and it was connected two shaft in Tunneling. The first, it was needed to investigate the surey of influenced of vibration and noise by blastig to near by housing structure. 2nd, it was essential to decide the boundary line of influenced for agriculture water and portable water, by draw down of underground water. Blasting works has been done successfully without any problem, but by draw down of underground water, with in 250m level from #1 shaft, agriculture well drilled 8 place and portable water well drilled 7 place for near by farmers.

  • In recent years, attempts have been made to greatly improve the display quality of active-matrix liquid crystal display devices, and many techniques have been proposed to solve such problems as gate signal delay, feed-through voltage and image sticking. To improve these problems which are caused by the fried-through voltage, we have evaluated new driving methods to reduce the fled-through voltage. Two level gate-pulse was used for the gate driving of the cst-on-common structure pixels. And two-gate line driving methods with the optimized gate signals were applied for the cst-on-gate structure pixels. These gate driving methods were better feed-through characteristics than conventional simple gate pulse. The evaluation of the suggested driving methods were performed by using a TFT-LCD array simulator PDAST which can simulate the gate, data and pixel voltages of a certain pixel at any time and at any location on a TFT array. The effect of the new driving method was effectively analyzed.

  • The most stable adsorption structures and their corresponding energies of 4-pyridone, 4-hydroxypyridine, 2-pyridone and 2-hydroxypyridine have been investigated by Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculation method and high-resolution photoemission spectroscopy (HRPES). We confirmed that between the two reaction centers of 4- and 2-pyridone, only O atom of carbonyl functional group can act as a Lewis base and thus, O dative bonding structure is the most stable. On the other hand, we clarified that both the two reaction centers (the cyclic N atom and the O atom of hydroxyl functional group) of 4- and 2-hydroxypyridine (tautomers of 4- and 2-pyridone) can successfully function as a Lewis base. Through the interpretation of the N 1s and O 1s core level spectra obtained using HRPES, we could confirm the electronic structures and bonding configurations of these molecules with a coverage dependence on the Ge(100) surface.
