자아일치성이 기능적 일치성, 태도 그리고 행동의도에 미치는 영향: 커피전문점 이용고객을 중심으로 (The Effects of Self-congruity on Functional Congruity, Brand Attitude and Behavioral Intention in Name-b rand Coffee Shops)

  • 본 연구는 커피전문점 이용고객의 자아일치성을 비사회적과 사회적 유형의 두 가지 유형의 자아일치성으로 구분하여 기능적 일치성과, 태도 그리고 행동의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 실증적으로 규명하고자 수행되었다. 결과를 살펴보면 자아일치성은 기능적 일치성에 긍정적 영향을 미치는데, 비사회적 유형의 자아일치성이 사회적 유형의 자아일치성 보다 기능적 일치성에 더 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 자아일치성은 태도에는 직접적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지는 않지만 기능적 일치성을 통해서 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 태도는 행동의도에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이 같은 결과는 커피전문점들이 고객의 자아일치성을 통한 마케팅 전략을 펼침과 동시에 커피전문점이 가지고 있는 기능적 속성을 충분히 충족시켜야 한다는 점을 제시하고 있다.

Reducing the congestion in a class of job shops

  • Consider a job shop that is modelled as an open queueing network of the Jackson(l957) type. All work stations in the shop have the same number of parallel servers. Two problems are studied : the loading of stations and the assignment of servers, which are represented by loading and assingment vectors, respectively. Ma jorization and arrangement orderings are established to order, respectively, the loading and the assignment vectors. It is shown that reducing the loading vector under ma jorizat ion or increasing the assignment vector under arrangement ordering will reduce the congestion in the shop in terms of reducing the total number of jobs(in the sense of likelihood ratio ordering), the maximum queue length(in the sense of stochastic ordering), and the queue-length vector( in the sense of stochastic majorization). The results can be used to supprot production planning in certain job shops, and to aid the desing of storage capacity. 일본의 남성 맞춤복 테일러링 문화에 관한 구술사 연구 (Oral history study on Japanese menswear custom-tailoring culture)

  • This oral history study explores the past and present Japanese menswear custom-tailoring culture. Two master tailors with more than 50 years of experience and two young tailors with less than a year of experience were interviewed about the tailor training process and environment, working conditions, thinking and behavior, and societal and governmental efforts for vitalizing custom-tailoring. The results indicate, first, a 10-year apprenticeship was required in the past, whereas young tailors today must register for three-year professional tailoring classes. Tailors then and now have been trained in a similar sequence of pants, vests, and jackets. Second, regarding working conditions, tailors had to provide gratitude services to their masters for a few years, even after their training ended. In contrast, young tailors today must continue a probationary period after their three-year schooling; however, they experience difficulty with finding tailoring shops for their probation. Third, in terms of thinking and behavior, master tailors learned their trade to earn a living, whereas young tailors today entered the field due to their interests in it. In addition, young tailors want a systematic learning process, whereas master tailors learned their skills while on the job. Last, tailoring academies today are run by tailoring shops and societies. Career exploration programs are offered to elementary and middle school students by the Kobe government in association with the local tailoring society to provide tailoring experiences.

화장품 판매공간 디자인의 브랜드 인지도와 이미지의 관계성에 관한 연구 - 명동 지역 화장품 로드 숍을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Relationship between Brand Awareness and Image in Cosmetic Sales Space Design - Focusing on the Cosmetic Road Shop in Myeongdong -)

  • Recently, cosmetic shops are facing a complicate economy situation and a great number of brands are attempting two-way communication with customers, not one-way communication. 'Brand' equity is important to deliver virtual brand mark as visual image. We have 4 steps for brand identity structure, and this study is about the first 'brand-awareness' and the second step 'brand-image'. We investigated the correlation between brand-awareness and brand-image after searching which spatial elements are highly effective to both steps as we designated 5 cosmetic shops. We already organized the means of spatial analysis and we separated into two elements, constructive and decorative. For constructive element, a shop needs a distinct ceiling and wall design, and for decorative element, strong brand image communication is required through showcase design. We proved that brand awareness and brand image have the correlation, which also can be in direct proportion, by regression analysis. The result of this study shows that improving brand awareness as the primary element for cosmetic road shop can be an effective way to enhance brand image.

Assessment of environmental sanitation behaviour of market traders in selected markets in Ibadan, Nigeria

  • This paper assessed environmental sanitation behaviour of market operators in selected markets in Ibadan, Nigeria. The two largest markets in the study area (Aleshinloye and Bodija markets) were selected for sampling. The selected markets represented the two types of markets; modern and traditional markets. The modern market comprises 3803 shops while the traditional market comprises 5943 shops. Multistage sampling technique was adopted in questionnaire administration. The selected markets were stratified into zones based on the goods sold. Systematic sampling was used in the selection of traders across the markets. 2% of traders were selected for sampling in each category of goods sold making a total of 189 respondents. This comprises 77 of traders from modern market and 112 traders from traditional markets. Descriptive and Inferential statistics were used in analysing the data. Findings revealed poor access to environmental sanitation facilities especially at the traditional market. The study also established poor environmental sanitation behaviour in terms of utilisation of available amenities across both markets. It recommended a synergy of efforts by all environmentally concerned institutions in managing the market environment. It also advocated for the provision of environmental sanitation facilities in markets by, government, market management authorities, traders, Community Based Organizations (CBOs) and Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs). In addition environmental education is imperative while enforcement of environmental regulations in the market and others with similar setting is strongly encouraged.

자동차 차체공장에서 고장분포를 고려한 두 종류 배치구조에 대한 비교 (Comparison of the Two Layout Structures in Automotive Body Shops Considering Failure Distributions)

  • There are many challenges in manufacturing system for new factory construction. Although factories produce same product, the layout of each factory may be different. The body shop in an automotive factory is a typical flow line with assembly, but the layout concept of the line varies among factories. In this paper, two types of layouts in the body shops of automotive factories, one for layered build and the other for modular build, are compared using simulation study. The simulation experiments indicate that the modular build layout is better than the layered build layout with respect to production rate. The effects of various failure distributions on the throughputs are also investigated, and some insights are suggested regarding the layout concept.

온라인과 오프라인 유통경로의 가격비교에 관한 연구: 점포, 제품, 가격유형에 따른 차이를 중심으로 (Price Comparison between Online and Offline Distribution Channel: Differences of Store type, Product Category and Price type)

  • 본 연구는 기존의 연구들이 간과했던 점포유형, 제품유형, 가격유형을 고려하여 온라인과 오프라인 유통경로에서 가격수준과 가격편차에는 차이가 있는지를 비교하였다. 즉, 제품특성 및 점포 유형, 배송료, 적립금, 사은품 등과 같은 요인들에 따라서 소비자가 부담하는 총가격이 어떻게 달라지는지, 가격수준, 가격편차, 가격변동 빈도가 어떤 차이가 있는지에 대해서 살펴보았다. 그 결과 온라인 점포의 가격수준이 오프라인 점포보다 더 낮았고, 제품유형(대용량/소용량)에 따라서는 순수온라인 점포에서 소용량 상품의 가격수준이 더 낮았으며, 가격편차는 Hybrid 점포의 가격편차가 더 낮게 나타났다. 가격변동은 Hybrid 점포에서 가장 많이 발생했고, 총가격과 배달가격간의 가격편차는 순수온라인 점포에서 특정상품(화장품)을 제외하고는 총가격 기준의 가격편차가 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 가격수준이나 가격편차 등을 고려해 볼 때, 온라인 유통경로가 효율적이거나, 점차 효율적으로 진행되어 가고 있다고 할 수 있었다. 그러나 계절적인 영향이 큰 상품이나, 유통 지배력이 있는 상품의 경우는 순수온라인 생포보다 Hybrid 점포가 더 가격 면에서 효율적인 유통경로로 나타났다.

정보검색과 커피전문점 선택속성이 재방문 의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Information Retrieval and Coffee Shop's Attributes on the Means of Repositioning)

  • 최근 커피전문점 수의 지속적 증가와 이를 방문하려는 소비자들의 커피전문점 방문을 위한 정보검색이 늘어나고 있다. 기존의 커피전문점의 선택속성과 검색을 통해 실제 방문했을 때의 선택속성에 정보검색의 요인을 추가하여 커피전문점 재방문 의도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 했으며, 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 본 연구의 분석은 정보검색을 통해 커피전문점 방문하기 전과 방문 후의 두 가지로 나누어 실시하였다. 첫번째는 정보검색 시 중요하게 생각하는 4가지 요인과 선택속성은 정보의 신뢰성(커피전문점의 후기 개수와 조회 수, 최근 포스팅), 물리적 환경(매장의 근접성, 분위기, 규모, 사이드메뉴의 존재 유무), 정보의 시각성(물리적 환경, 배경, 디자인, 쉬운 구성), 상품성(커피의 맛, 주차의 편의성)으로 나타났다. 또한 정보검색을 통한 실제 커피 전문점 방문 후 만족도에 대한 선택속성은 커피전문점의 일반적 특징, 메뉴, 정보의 일치성, 커피의 맛, 주차의 편의성의 5가지로 도출되었으며, 이 중 정보의 일치성, 커피의 맛, 커피의 일반적 특징은 재방문 의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 속성으로 나타났다.

프랜차이즈 커피전문점의 서비스 스케이프가 소비자의 인지적, 감정적, 행동 의욕적 태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Servicescape on the Customers' Cognitive, Affective, and Conative Attitudes in Franchise Coffee Shops)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 소매 비즈니스 환경에서 서비스 스케이프가 소비자의 태도에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 본 연구와 관련 연구를 토대로 프랜차이즈 커피전문점의 서비스 스케이프가 소비자의 인지적, 정서적, 행동 의욕적 태도(즉, 브랜드 이미지, 고객 만족도, 재방문 의도)에 미치는 영향을 탐구하는 모델을 제안하였다. 자료 수집은 대구를 포함한 경북 2개 도시의 성인 거주자를 대상으로 하였다. 수집된 자료의 분석을 위해 기술통계분석, 요인분석, 다중회귀분석을 활용하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 프랜차이즈 커피전문점의 서비스 스케이프가 소비자의 인지적, 정서적, 행동 의욕적 태도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 서비스 스케이프가 정서적 태도 즉 고객 만족에 미치는 영향력이 소비자 태도의 세 가지 유형 중 가장 높게 나타났다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 프랜차이즈 커피전문점의 서비스 스케이프를 활용한 마케팅적 시사점을 제시하였다.

네일 샵 종사자들의 직무 형태별 취급 유해화학물질 (Task-Specific Hazardous Chemicals Used by Nail Shop Technicians)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to evaluate the task-specific hazards of chemicals used by nail technicians in Daegu Metropolitan City. Materials: A total of 30 nail shops located in Daegu City were surveyed to investigate the major tasks and practices performed by nail technicians and the ingredients listed in nail care products used in shops. We also collected instructions for use and material safety data sheets(MSDSs) of nail care products and compared CAS Nos. of ingredients with the lists of chemicals regulated by the Industrial Safety and Health Act(ISHA) and Chemical Substances Control Act(CSCA). Results: A total of 125 chemical ingredients were found in 468 nail care products used at the 30 nail shops. The most frequently found ingredients were ethyl acetate(72%), followed by n-butyl acetate(71.8%), isopropanol(56%), benzophenone(51.1%), nitrocellulose(46.4%) and ethanol(45.3%). Comparing six tasks, the task of manicuring used the most products at 222 products containing 91 ingredients. Among the 125 ingredients, there are 31 chemicals with occupational exposure limits(OEL) designated by the Ministry of Employment and Labor(MoEL), eight categorized as carcinogens, one mutagen and two reproductive toxic chemicals. In terms of carcinogens, formaldehyde was identified as the only confirmed human carcinogen(1A). We found that there was one chemical with a permissible limit, one special management substance, 18 workplace monitoring substances and ten special health diagnosis substances regulated by ISHA. For CSCA, nine poisonous substances, six substances requiring preparation for accidents and one restricted substance were identified. Conclusions: Based on these findings, formaldehyde was identified as one of the chemicals that should most strictly be controlled for the protection of the health of nail technicians and customers. At the same time, it is necessary to distribute materials with detailed hazardous information of nail care products for nail shop technicians.
