선박용 화재탐지장치의 통신 에러를 감소시키기 위한 수정된 터보코딩 알고리즘 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Enhancement of Turbo Decoder Reducing Communication Error of a Fire Detection System for Marine Vessels)

  • In this study, an adapted Turbo Coding Algorithm for reducing communication error of a fire detection system for marine vessels, especially image transmission via power lone. Because it is necessary that this system communicate larger and faster than previous method, this study carried out enhancement a decoding speed by adaptation CRC with Turbo Code Algorithm, improvement of metric method, and reduction of decoding delay by using of Center-to-Top method. And the results are as follows: (1) Confirmed that a Turbo Code is so useful methods for reducing communication error in lots of noise environments. (2)Proposed technology in this study speed increasing method of Turbo Coding Algorithm proves 2 times faster than normal Turbo Code and communication error reducing as well in the board made by VHDL software & chips ALTERA company.

  • 본 논문에서는 고밀도 광 기록 시스템에서 런길이 제한 조건이 없는 채널 비트로 인해 발생하는 심각한 ISI와 비선형 왜곡을 극복하기 위한 방법으로 트랠리스를 바탕으로한 등화기(Trellis-Based Equalizer, TBE)와 터보 코드를 연접한 TE(Turbo Equalization)/TC(Turbo Code) 검출 방법을 제안한다. 모의 실험은 채널 밀도 S=4.6과 S=7에서 지터의 양이 15% 존재할 때 코드율을 4/5, 8/9, 16/17로 변화시켜가며 행하였다. TE/TC 구조는 비트 에러율 $10^{-5}$를 24dB이상에서 만족함을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Design of turbo-compressors has been considered to be a high-tech which only a few early industrialized countries could do efficiently since it requires not only deep understanding of high level gas dynamics and complex fluid dynamics but also accumulation of experiences in the feedback of expensive manufacturing and difficult testing to the design theory and empirical design coefficients. CFturbo is the turbomachinery design software which incorporates traditional well formulated German design technology and latest software technology of 3-dimensional graphics. Fine/Turbo is a powerful tubomachinery-oriented CFD package with quality structured grid topology templates for almost all the tubomachinery configurations for easy, fast and accurate CFD analysis. Rapid and effcient process off turbo-compressor R&D is setup with the combination of CFturbo and Fine/Turbo.

  • Optimal operation of turbo blowers connected in serial is analyzed by experimental measurements and numerical simulation with three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations. The turbo blower system considered in the present study is widely used for the refuse collection system. Design optimization of the turbo blower using some design variables is also studied to enhance the performance of the blower. Throughout numerical simulation, it is found that the input energy reduction by optimal operation of the turbo blowers with the proper changes of the rotor's rotating frequency can be reduced a input energy for operating the blower system compared to the conventional on-off operation method theoretically. It is also found that the optimal design method is effective to enhance the performance of the turbo blower.

Turbo-tape을 이용한 배추의 점적관개 효과분석 (An Analysis of the Effects of Turbo-tape Drip Irrigation System on Chinese Cabbage)

  • For efficient irrigation of structured horiculture and upland crops, a new technique of drip irrigation using the turbo-tape for Autumn Chinese cabbage was developed. The turbo-tape worked well, and based on this study The following results were obtained ; 1. The emission uniformity of the turbo-tape was very good with a uniformity coefficient of 92.5%. 2. Starting point of irrigation at 80% of the wilting point was better than at the wilting point itself. 3. The irrigation amounts for the Autumn Chinese cabbage cultured ranged 315 to 470mm depending upon the irrigation methods, turbo-tape irrigation method could conserve irrigation water about 37% compared to the furrow irrigation method. 4. Average yields were 2, 430g when the starting point of irrigation was at the wilting point, while 2, 680g when it was at 80% of the wilting point.

The Effect of Block Interleaving in an LDPC-Turbo Concatenated Code

  • The effect of block interleaving in a low density parity check (LDPC)-turbo concatenated code is investigated in this letter. Soft decoding can be used in an LDPC code unlike the conventional Reed-Solomon (RS) code. Thus, an LDPC-turbo concatenated code can show better performance than the conventional RS-turbo concatenated code. Furthermore, the performance of an LDPC-turbo code can be improved by using a block interleaver between the LDPC and turbo code. The average number of iterations in LDPC decoding can also be reduced by a block interleaver.

  • In this paper, turbo codes with the DC-free trellis codes based on partition chain as constituent codes are presente. And efficient methods to design the DC-free turbo codes are introduced. An iterative decoding with the MAP algorithm is used for the decoding of the turbo codes designed by various methods. As results of simulations, the presented DC-free turbo codes show better error performances than the DC-free trellis codes.

  • Turbo generator system need starter for gas turbine engine. Turbo generator has high rate gearbox for reduce rotating speed. Because a conventional generator could not operate same speed of gas turbine engine. But Recently turbo generator system is directly connected a gas turbine engine with a super high-speed generator. In this paper, starter driver are implemented direct coupled turbo generator system, Which is directly connected 100kW, 60,000rpm gas turbine engine and 25kW 60,000rpm super high speed generator.
