'평가(appraisal)'는 기록관리의 핵심 영역이다. 이 연구는 기록학 분야의 대표적인 백과사전인 『Encyclopedia of Archival Science』을 중심으로 기록평가의 지식구조를 파악하고, 관련 대역어들의 적절성을 분석하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 먼저 이 사전에 146개 표제어 중 평가 관련 표제어 34개를 추출하고, 내용분석에 기초하여 용어를 범주화하였다. 둘째, 각 범주별 표제어들을 중심으로 주요 개념과 논의의 흐름을 살펴보았다. 셋째. 각 표제어들에 대한 대역어를 제시하였으며 대역어 선정 시 고려할 점을 제안하였다. 특히 '기록평가'(records appraisal)와 '보존기록평가(archival appraisal)'를 구분하여 사용하고, 등가의 원칙에 따라 대역어를 선정할 것을 제안하였다.

이 논문에서는 시조는 시조의 형식미를 지킴으로서 자유시와의 변별력이 생길뿐더러 시조의 존재의의가 있다는 데에 논의의 초점을 맞추고 여기서 이탈하는 작품들을 경계하였다. 과거 고시조는 창과 조화롭게 만나서 음악으로나 문학으로나 중심장르로서 역할하였는데, 현대시조에 와서는 창과 무관하게 창작되고 있지만 시조가 창을 곁들인다고 해서 무익하다고 할 수 없기 때문에, 창을 현대감각에 맞게 조정하여 시조와 만나는 문제를 생각해야 하고, 이 점은 국악인과 시조시인과의 상호 노력이 요청되는 문제임을 지적하였다. 시조를 영역한 예들을 살펴보니 시조를 영시 형식으로 번역한 경우가 있었다. 이렇게 되면 외국인들이 시조의 형식에 따른 시조의 묘미를 느낄 수 없게 되므로 올바른 번역이 되지 못함을 지적하였다. 그러나 시조의 3장 6구 형식을 영어가 허용하는 범위 내에서 살리려고 노력하는 한 편, 각 구끼리 비슷한 음절수를 가지게 하여 각 구를 읽을 때의 시간적 거리를 비슷하게 만든 경우가 있었다. 시조 영역(英譯)은 이같이 시조다움을 살리는 데에서 출발해야 하고 그렇게 하기 위해서는 먼저 시조시인들이 시조형식을 잘 지켜서 창작해야 거기에 따른 번역 또한 시조답게 번역이 가능해질 것임을 지적하면서, 바람직한 번역을 위해서는 시조학자와 영문학자와의 상호 노력이 요청되는 문제임을 지적하였다.

20세기 초 동아시아에서 러시아의 아나키즘 사상가 크로포트킨은 아나키즘 운동뿐만 아니라 지식 사상계 그리고 문학계에 매우 큰 영향을 미쳤다. 본고는 일본과 중국 그리고 이후 한국에서 사회주의 사상의 하나로 받아들여지고 각 방면에서 사상적 지침이 되었던 크로포트킨 저작의 수용사를 번역 양상과 번역 경로라는 관점에서 접근한 것이다. 식민지 조선에서 크로포트킨이 적극적으로 수용된 것은 오스기 사카에 등 일본의 선구적인 번역 작업들에 힘입은 바 크다는 것은 주지의 사실이나, 조선어로 번역되면서 다양한 참조와 변용 그리고 자기화의 과정을 거쳤음을 알 수 있다. '청년에게 호소함'과 같은 크로포트킨의 저작은 불온 선전물 팸플릿으로 검열과 단속의 대상이었지만 여러 경로로 수입되고 또 번역되어 20년대 선전문 번역의 존재 양상을 증언하고 있다. 당시에 신문 잡지 미디어에 소개된 크로포트킨에 관한 글들은 초기의 번역들이 그러하듯이 대부분 일본어 중역이거나 초역인 경우가 많다. 그러나 한편으로 중국쪽의 자료들이 참조된 경우들을 확인할 수 있는데 이는 중국이라는 번역의 매개와 영향관계를 암시한다. 이후 1930년대에는 사상 운동의 차원에서보다는 문학자와 비평가로서 크로포트킨을 전유하는 현상이 두드러지는데, 이를 통해 동아시아에서 러시아 문학을 이해하고 해석하는 주요한 통로이자 논거로서 크로포트킨이 자리하게 된 사정을 이해할 수 있다. 조선에서 크로포트킨 번역은 대부분 일본과 중국을 매개로 하여 동아시아에서 크로포트킨이 받아들여진 맥락 안에 놓이면서도 조선어로 번역하기라는 과제를 둘러싼 고투의 흔적들을 남기고 있다는 점에서 문제적이다.

A three node flat triangular element incorporating Layerwise Zig-Zag Theory(HZZT) is developed suitable for analyzing damped laminated composite structures. Using an interdependent kinematic relation, the higher order shear rotations are replaced by in-plane displacements, a transverse displacement and section rotations, which result in three translations and two rotations. Natural frequencies and modal loss factors of cantilevered laminated plates with embedded damping layers are calculated with the zig-zag triangular element and compared to the experimental results and MSC/NASTRAN results using a layered combination of plate and solid elements.

A first order shear deformable Loop-subdivision triangular element which can handle transverse shear deformation of moderately thick shell is developed. The developed element is general since it includes the effect of transverse shear deformation and has standard six degrees of freedom per node.(three translations and three rotations) The quartic box-spline function is employed as interpolation basis function. Numerical examples for the benchmark problems are analyzed in order to assess the performance of the newly developed subdivision shell element. Both in the uniform and in the distorted mesh configurations.

The market is opening to the whole world and there is no exception to medical service. Therefore, doctors should prepare themselves to cope with the opening market. I prepared scripts for the conversations between doctors and patient at the clinical situations. Also, English and Chinese translations are provided for future use.

Based on wavelet theory, the new notion of wavelet networks is proposed as alternative to feedforward neural networks for approximating arbitrary nonlinear functions. An algorithm presented in this paper trains coefficients of wavelet. i.e., translations and scaling., and then learns weights with the wavelet coefficients. And experimental results are reported.

This paper proposes a statistical model for the translation of prepositions in English-Korean machine translation. In the proposed model, statistical information acquired from unlabeled Korean corpora is used to choose the best translation from several possible translations. Such information includes functional word-verb co-occurrence information, functional word-verb distance information, and noun-postposition co-occurrence information. The model was evaluated with 443 sentences, each of which has a prepositional phrase, and we attained 71.3% accuracy.

In order to investigate genetic stability and gene expression profile after cloning procedure, two groups of cloned pigs were used for swine leukocyte antigen (SLA) gene nucleotide alteration and microarray analyses. Each group was consist of cloned pigs derived from same cell line (n=3 and 4, respectively). Six SLA loci were analyzed for cDNA sequences and protein translations. In total, 16 SLA alleles were identified and there were no evidence of SLA nucleotide alteration. All SLA sequences and protein translations were identical among the each pig in the same group. On the other hand, microarray assay was performed for profiling gene expression of the cloned pigs. In total, 43,603 genes were analyzed and 2,150~4,300 reliably hybridized spots on the each chip were selected for further analysis. Even though the cloned pigs in the same group had identical genetic background, 18.6~47.3% of analyzed genes were differentially expressed in between each cloned pigs. Furthermore, on gene clustering analysis, some cloned pigs showed abnormal physiological phenotypes such as inflammation, cancer or cardiomyopathy. We assumed that individual environmental adaption, sociality and rank in the pen might have induced these different phenotypes. In conclusion, the results of the present study indicate that SLA locus genes appear to be stable following SCNT. However, gene expressions and phenotypes between cloned pigs derived from the same cell line were not identical even under the same rearing conditions.

Enactivism은 체화된 인지의 여러 논의들 중 가장 전복적이고 영향력 있는 접근이다. 하지만 태동한 지 20여년의 세월이 흘렀고, 그 포괄 범위와 성과에서 명실상부 하나의 패러다임으로 자리 잡은 지금까지, 이 이론이 국내 인지과학자들 사이에서는 여전히 낯설고 새로운 접근으로 받아들여지는 것은 안타까운 일이다. 이러한 현실은 부분적으로는 Enactivism이 지니는 본래의 파격이나 심오함 때문이기도 하겠지만, 번역어의 혼란 또한 크게 한 몫을 한 것으로 보인다. 따라서 본 논문은 Enactivism의 철학적, 이론적 관점을 그 역사적 맥락과 개념적 지형을 중심으로 살펴보고, '발제(發製)' '구성(構成)', '행위화(行爲化)' 등의 한국어 번역들이 그 철학적, 이론적 함축을 어떻게 포착하고 해석하고 있는지를 살펴본다. 나아가 이미 출간된 번역어 외에 '실행(實行)'과 수행(遂行/修行), 작동(作動)의 다른 번역어들을 검토한다. 이러한 시도는 철학적 난해함이나 번역어의 생소함이 야기한 심리적 장벽을 넘어, Enactivism이 국내 인지과학자들 사이에서 합당하게 주목 받는 계기를 마련하기 위해서이며, 더불어 마음에 대한 서구적 전통과 동양적 전통을 통합적으로 조망하고 실천하고자 했던 바렐라(1946-2001)의 노력이 한국의 철학 전통 안에서 풍성한 결실을 얻기를 바라는 마음에서이다.
