An attempt was made to study the relative composition of Monohydroperoxide isomers of methyl linoleate oxidized to different peroxide values at 60, 90, 120 and $150^{\circ}C$, respectively. HPLC was used to analyze and isolate the monohydroperoxide isomers fractionated by silica gel column after reduction with NaBH.. GC-MS was used to identify four monnhydroperoxide isomers as trimethylsilyl (TMS) in mixtures of oxidized methyl linoleate In the geometrical isomers, the proportions of 9/13-OOH-trans, trant-diene were higher than those of 9/13-OOH-cis, trans-diene at $60^{\circ}C$ and $90^{\circ}C$. However in the initial stage at $150^{\circ}C$, the proportions of 9/13-OOH-cis, trans-diene were slightly higher than those of 9/13-OOH-trans, trans-diene. In case of positional isomers, equal proportions of 9-OOH-10, 12-diene and 13-OOH-9, 11-diene were found in all samples of methyl linoleate oxidized at different temperatures and peroxide levels.

Permethrin [3-phenox yben zyl(1RS)-cis,tans-3-(2,2-dichloroviny1)-2,2- dimethylcyclopropane carboxylate] insecticides were selected to study adsorption and leaching potentials related to pollution on Commerce silty clay loam soil near Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA. GLC-ECD chromatogram of permethrin included 32.5 % of cis-pemehin and 67.4 % of trans-permethrin. Extraction efficiencies of is and trmu-pemetun were 92.5 % and 92.3 % in fortified water, respectively and 85.9 % and 88.8 % in fortified soil, respectively. At a 1:10 moi]/water ratio,the Koc values for sis and fan isomers of permethrin were 938 and 877, respectively. Leaching of permethrin was evaluated in soil columns$(5.4 cm i.d. \times 26 cm length)$. Total recoveries of the permethrin applied to the soil column were $84.5\pm3.1%$. When the soil columns were leached with three pore volumes of water, the distributions of cis-permethrin leached were 6.10 % and 0.07 % of amount applied in the untreated zone soil and leachate water, respectively Trans-pemethrin distributions were 5.20 % in the untreated zone soil and 0.05 % in leachate water. Cis and trans-pemethrin was strongly adsorbed to soil. The results of the study showed the strong relationship between adsorption and leaching. Cis and trans-permethrin to be leached into the groundwater in soils with shallow aquifers were suggested a low leaching potential.

In this paper, firstly we discuss some basic axioms of trans Sasakian manifolds. Later, the trans-Sasakian manifold with quarter symmetric non-metric connection are studied and its curvature tensor and Ricci tensor are calculated. Also, we study the η-Ricci solitons on a Trans-Sasakian Manifolds with quartersymmetric non-metric connection. Indeed, we investigated that the Ricci and η-Ricci solitons with quarter-symmetric non-metric connection satisfying the conditions ${\tilde{R}}.{\tilde{S}}$ = 0. In a particular case, when the potential vector field ξ of the η-Ricci soliton is of gradient type ξ = grad(ψ), we derive, from the η-Ricci soliton equation, a Laplacian equation satisfied by ψ. Finally, we furnish an example for trans-Sasakian manifolds with quarter-symmetric non-metric connection admitting the η-Ricci solitons.

The $trans{\rightarrow}cis$ photoisomerization and fluorescence of trans-1,2-bispyrazylethylene were investigated in various conditions. The quantum yields of the $trans{\rightarrow}cis$ photoisomerization and the fluorescence intensity of trans-1,2-bispyrazylethylene decrease on going from neutral to acidic or basic solutions. The quantum yields of photoisomerization, however, are little affected by changing the concentration of salt while the fluorescence intensity increases as the concentration of salt increases. pH and salt effects on the energy levels of $^1(n,\;{\pi}^*)\;and\;^1({\pi},\; {\pi}^*)$ states lead to opposing changes in photoisomerization and fluorescence quantum yields. The heavy atom effect on the fluorescence of 1,2-bispyrazylethylene was also investigated.

This paper examines the behavior of a 3-dimensional trans-Sasakian manifold equipped with a gradient generalized quasi-Yamabe soliton. In particular, It is shown that α-Sasakian, β-Kenmotsu and cosymplectic manifolds satisfy the gradient generalized quasi-Yamabe soliton equation. Furthermore, in the particular case when the potential vector field ζ of the quasi-Yamabe soliton is of gradient type ζ = grad(ψ), we derive a Poisson's equation from the quasi-Yamabe soliton equation. Also, we study harmonic aspects of quasi-Yamabe solitons on 3-dimensional trans-Sasakian manifolds sharing a harmonic potential function ψ. Finally, we observe that 3-dimensional compact trans-Sasakian manifold admits the gradient generalized almost quasi-Yamabe soliton with Hodge-de Rham potential ψ. This research ends with few examples of quasi-Yamabe solitons on 3-dimensional trans-Sasakian manifolds.

We study the geometry of indefinite trans-Sasakian manifold $\bar{M}$, of type (${\alpha},{\beta}$), admitting a half lightlike submanifold M such that the structure vector field of $\bar{M}$ does not belong to the screen and coscreen distributions of M. The purpose of this paper is to prove several classification theorems of such an indefinite trans-Sasakian manifold.

The object of study in this paper is generic lightlike submanifolds of an indefinite trans-Sasakian manifold with a quarter-symmetric metric connection. We study the geometry of two types of generic light-like submanifolds, which are called recurrent and Lie recurrent generic lightlike submanifolds, of an indefinite trans-Sasakian manifold with a quarter-symmetric metric connection.

In this paper, we obtain some necessary and sufficient conditions for the Reeb vector field of a trans-Sasakian 3-manifold to be minimal or harmonic. We construct some examples to illustrate main results. As applications of the above results, we obtain some new characteristic conditions under which a compact trans-Sasakian 3-manifold is homothetic to either a Sasakian or cosymplectic 3-manifold.
