A Study on High Frequency-Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition Silicon Nitride Films for Crystalline Silicon Solar Cells

  • SiNx:H films have been widely used for anti-reflection coatings and passivation for crystalline silicon solar cells. In this study, SiNx:H films were deposited using high frequency (13.56 MHz) direct plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition, and the optical and passivation properties were investigated. The radio frequency power, the spacing between the showerhead and wafer, the $NH_3/SiH_4$ ratio, the total gas flow, and the $N_2$ gas flow were changed over certain ranges for the film deposition. The thickness uniformity, the refractive index, and the minority carrier lifetime were then measured in order to study the properties of the film. The optimal deposition conditions for application to crystalline Si solar cells are determined from the results of this study.

  • $MgF_2$, $SiO_2$ 및 ZnS 박막을 물리 증기 증착하는 동안 펄스 레이저(Nd-YAG, 제2고조파 532 nm)로 Annealing 하여 표면 거칠기 특성을 개선하였다. 펄스 반복율이 10 Hz, 펄스폭 5 ns, 파장 532 nm인 펄스레이저로 Annealing한 유리 기판에 증착된 $MgF_2$$SiO_2$ 시료들은 레이저 에너지가 $140\;mJ/cm^2$ 경우에 산란 총량 값이 최소가 되었지만, ZnS 박막의 경우에는 Annealing 레이저광 에너지가 $62\;mJ/cm^2$일 때 산란 총량이 최소값을 나타냈다. AFM을 사용하여 박막시료의 표면 거칠기에 대한 펄스 레이저 Annealing 효과를 측정 하였다. 그 결과는 TIS 측정치와 유사 하여 표면 거칠기는 Annealing 하기위해 조사된 레이저 에너지에 의존 하여 감소하였다.

부산지역 강하먼지와 불용성 성분의 침적량에 관한 연구 (A Study on Bulk Deposition Flux of Dustfall and Insoluble Components in Pusan, Korea)

  • Dustfall particles were collected by the modified American dust jar (wide inlet bottle type) at 6 sampling sites in Pusan area from March, 1999 to February, 2000. Thirteen chemical species (Al, Ca, Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, Ni, Pb, Si, and Zn) were analyzed by AAS and ICP. The purposes of this study were to estimate qualitatively various bulk deposition flux of dustfall and insoluble components by applying regional and seasonal distribution. Dustfall amount of regional variations were found in order of coastal zone, industrial zone, commercial zone, agricultural zone and residential zone, and seasonal total dustfall had higher concentrations during spring for 6.741 ton/${km}^2$/season, lower concentrations during summer for 1.989 ton/${km}^2$/season, and annual total concentration was 17.742 ton/${km}^2$/year. The regional distributions of enrichment factor show well-defined anthropogenic metals (Cd, Cu, Pb, and Zn) at industrial and agricultural zone, and contribution rate of soil particles were found in order of summer, fall, winter and spring. Factor loading effects of chemical composition of dustfall were found in order of road traffic emission source and combustion processed source, industrial activity source, soil source and marine source.

평판형 방전판을 갖는 2단식 전기집진기의 집진판 블록배열이 집진효율에 미치는 영향 (Effects of the Block Arrangement on the Collection Efficiency in the Two-Stage Electrostatic Precipitator with Charging Plate)

  • The effect of block arrangement has been investigated on the particle deposition in the specified collecting cell of two-stage electrostatic precipitator by numerical analysis. Recirculation zone existed at the downstream of the block in the collecting cell, and the particles entering the recirculation zone were deposited on the collecting plate. Particle trajectory and deposition had considerably different phenomenon according to electrostatic and inertial effect, which depended on inlet mean velocity, electrostatic number, and particle diameter in the collecting cell. The total collection efficiency reached a minimum value through an interaction of electrostatic and inertial effect. In the computational domain, total collection efficiency for the case of two blocks in the computational domain was more than that of one block at the relative small electrostatic number. However as the block distance and inertial effect increased, the difference between the collection efficiency of two cases decreased. In the range of relatively small particle size total collection efficiency was always superior to particle collection efficiency that was predicted by Deutsch equation.

  • 대기확산 모델 TCM(Texas Climatological Model)을 이용하여 $SO_2$ 오염도를 예측하였으며 강우분석에 의한 $SO_2$의 침적에 관하여 연구하였다. 원주시의 월별 $SO_2$ 실측치와 모델예측치의 상관계수는 높은 편이었으며 $SO_2$는 강우에 의해 세척되어 제거되는데, $SO_2$ 총배출량에 대한 제거율이 여름철이 가을, 겨울보다 높게 나타났으며, 이는 여름철에 강우량이 많기 때문이 고 강우량과 제거율과의 상관계수는 0.68로 나타났다. 강우량이 많은 달은 $SO_2$ 실측치가 모델예측치보다 상당히 낮아지는 경향을 보였다.

강하분진의 침적 특성파악을 위한 통계학적 해석과 공간분포 분석 (A Statistical Analysis and Spatial Distribution Analysis for Deposition Characteristics of Fall-out Particles)

  • The objective of this study is to estimate the chemical compositions and to identify qualitative sources of fall-out particles in study area. Also, this study used a spatial analysis to estimate spatial distributions and average deposition flux. In this study, the chemical compositions of fall-out particle samples collected at Muncheon lake from May 2010 to January 2011 were analyzed by ICP and IC. The monthly trend of deposition fluxes for fall-out particles showed highest in June ($107.61kg/km^2/day$) and lowest in October ($22.22kg/km^2/day$). The average fluxes of Fe, Si, Al, Zn and Ba are 0.44, 0.24, 0.20, 0.17, $0.09kg/km^2/day$, respectively. Also, the average fluxes of $NO_3^-$, $SO_4^{2-}$, $NH_4^+$, $Ca^{2+}$, and $Na^+$ are 6.48, 5.01, 4.96, 1.75, $1.37kg/km^2/day$, respectively. A Factor analysis identified four sources such as 1) nonferrous metal, motor vehicle, and agriculture, 2) soil, 3) field burning, incineration, and 4) road dust and oil burning. The IDW (inverse distance weighting) spatial analysis method was used to estimate spatial distribution and average deposition flux for fall-out particles. A total average deposition fluxes estimated in Muncheon lake were 936.15 kg/month. The spatial distribution trend of deposition flux showed higher at site 1 and 2 than at site 3, 4 because local road is adjacent to the site 1 and 2.

황(S)의 장거리 이동 및 침적량에 대한 계절별 특성 분석 (Analysis of Seasonal Characteristics about Long-Range Transport and Deposition of Sulfur)

  • Long-range transport of air pollutants was simulated using Comprehensive Acid Deposition Model (CADM) and Yonsei University-Sulfuric Acid Deposition Model (YU-SADM). For the simulation, weather patterns that represent the four seasons were derived through a clustering analysis with 5-years of meteorological data. The simulation result showed that in spring, influenced by strong low pressure from China, air pollutants of moved to the Korean Peninsula. In summer, humid air moved into the Korean Peninsula across the Yellow Sea while the north pacific high pressure extended, making the concentration of air pollutants lower than that in the other seasons. In autumn, air pollutants were transported by the northwest wind caused by the movement of high pressure over the Yellow Sea, while in winter air pollutants were influenced by northwest winds from continental highs. The amount of air pollutants in each season showed that high amount of pollutants were transported in winter due to the strong northwest wind. The in-flows were 3 to 8 times higher than those of the other seasons, and out-flows were about as twice as high. The amount of wet deposition in summer and autumn increased significantly compared to the amount in the other seasons due to the increase of rainfall. Source-receptor relationship analysis for sulfur showed that 70 to 91 precent of the total deposition came from the self-contribution by the Korean Peninsula. In winter, contribution from China was about 25 percent of the total deposition which was higher amount than any other season.

요오드 증기($I_2$)의 무 작물체에 대한 침적속도 및 뿌리 전류계수 : 피폭실험 결과 (Deposition Velocity of Iodine Vapor ($(I_2)$) for Radish Plants and Its Root-Translocation Factor : Results of Experimental Exposures)

  • 무에 대한 $I_2$ 증기의 작물체 침적속도와 뿌리 전류계수를 측정하기 위하여 파종 후 29 일에서 53 일 사이에 생육시기별로 작물체를 $I_2$ 증기에 80 분 간 피폭시켰다. 피폭은 오전 중에 투명한 상자 내에서 수행되었다. 침적속도($ms^{-1}$)는 대체로 $1.0{\times}10^{-4}{\sim}2.0{\times}10^{-4}$의 범위로 생육밀도가 높을수록 증가하는 경향이었다. 또한 상대습도가 높을 경우 값이 커진다는 기존 보고와 어느 정도 일치하였다. 본 침적속도는 몇몇 야외 측정치보다 수 십 배 정도 낮았고 이는 주로 피폭상자 내의 낮은 풍속($0.2\;ms^{-1}$ 내외)에 기인하는 것으로 추정되었다. 뿌리 전류계수(작물체 총침적량에 대한 수확시 뿌리 내 함유량의 비)는 다소 보수적으로 계산하여 파종 후 29 일 피폭에서 $1.3{\times}10^{-3}$, 파종 후 53 일 피폭에서는 $5,0{\times}10^{-3}$이었다. 본 실험결과의 이용에 있어서는 기상 조건, 요오드의 물리화학적 형태 등에 유의할 필요가 있다.

소형 비닐하우스 내에서 훈연처리된 살균제 Procymidone의 분포 특성 (Distribution of Procymidone in a Small Vinyl House after Application of Smoke Generator)

  • 오이 혹은 모조오이를 설치한 소규모 비닐하우스 내에서 procymidone 훈연제를 연소시킨 후 하우스 내 여러 지점의 단위 면적당 약제의 부착량 분포를 조사하였다. 훈연된 procymidone은 오이잎, 유리판과 여과지 모두 거의 대등하게 부착되는 경향을 보여 오이 잎의 대용으로 유리판과 여과지를 사용할 수 있었다. 모조오이를 사용한 실험에서 Procymidone의 부착량은 잎의 수평 투영면적에 정비례하여 수평면에서 가장 많았고, 수직면에서 가장 적었으며, 잎의 이면에는 표면에 비해 5% 이하만이 부착되었다. 높이와 상하 중첩 거리를 달리하여 잎을 설치하였을 때 높이에 따른 농약의 부착량 차이는 거의 없었으며, 상하 중첩된 경우가 상대적으로 약제 부착량이 적었으나 중첩 거리에 따른 잎간의 부착량 차이는 매우 작았다. 모조오이의 수가 일정한 조건하에서 훈연제 처리량이 증가함에 따라 procymidone의 엽면 부착량이 비례적으로 증가하였다. 훈연제 처리량이 일정한 조건하에서 모조오이의 수를 증가시킴에 따라 procymidone의 엽면 부착량은 총 엽면적과 비닐하우스 지면 면적의 합에 반비례 하여, 총 엽면적이 2배와 3배 증가하였을 때 엽면 부착량은 22%와 36%가 감소하였다.

직접 에너지 적층 공정을 이용한 보수 공정에서 보수 폭에 따른 기계적 특성 관찰 (Effect of Repair Width on Mechanical Properties of 630 Stainless Steel Repaired by Direct Energy Deposition Process)

  • This study explores the effects of repair width on the deposition characteristics and mechanical properties of stainless steel samples repaired using direct energy deposition (DED). In the DED repair process, defects such as pores and cracks can occur at the interface between the substrate and deposited material. In this study, we changed the width of the pre-machined zone for repair in order to prevent cracks from occurring at the inclined surface. As a result of the experiment, cracks of 10-40 ㎛ in length were formed along the inclined slope regardless of the repair width. Yield and tensile strength decreased slightly as the repair width increased, but the total and uniform elongation increased. This is due to the orientation of the crack. For specimens with a repair width of 20 mm, yield and tensile strength were 883 MPa and 1135 MPa, respectively. Total and uniform elongations were 14.3% and 8.2%, respectively. During observation of the fracture specimens, we noted that the fracture of the specimen with an 8 mm repair width occurred along the slope, whereas specimens with 14 mm and 20 mm repair depths fractured at the middle of the repaired region. In conclusion, we found that tensile properties were dependent upon the repair width and the inclination of the crack occurred at the interface.
