Anomaly Detection Method for Drone Navigation System Based on Deep Neural Network

  • This paper proposes a method for detecting flight anomalies of drones through the difference between the command of flight controller (FC) and the navigation solution. If the drones make a flight normally, control errors generated by the difference between the desired control command of FC and the navigation solution should converge to zero. However, there is a risk of sudden change or divergence of control errors when the FC control feedback loop preset for the normal flight encounters interferences such as strong winds or navigation sensor abnormalities. In this paper, we propose the method with a deep neural network model that predicts the control error in the normal flight so that the abnormal flight state can be detected. The performance of proposed method was evaluated using the real-world flight data. The results showed that the method effectively detects anomalies in various situation.

고속 동작을 위한 디지털 자동 이득 제어기 설계 (Design of Digital Automatic Gain Controller for the High-speed Processing)

  • 본 논문에서는 5GHz 대역을 사용하는 고속 무선 LAN의 표준안의 IEEE 802.11a-1999 를 위한 디지털 자동 이득 제어기를 제언한다. 송수신간의 동기화를 위한 신호인 training symbol을 이용하여 수신기에 입력되는 신호의 이득을 측정한다. 측정된 이득을 이상적인 이득과 비교하여 갱신할 이득을 구한다. 갱신 이득은 신호를 증폭하는 GCA(Gain Controlled Amplifer)의 입력 전압으로 변환되어 신호의 증폭도를 제어하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 하드웨어 부담을 줄이기 위해 부분 선형 근사방법을 이용하여 갱신 이득을 본 논문에서 제안한 디지털 자동 이득 제어기는 VHDL을 이용하여 설계하였으며, Xilinx cAD tool을 이용하여 timing verification을 수행하였다.

  • In order to get high quality and high resolution image data from the space-borne camera system, the image chain from the sensor to the user in the ground-station need to be designed and controlled with extreme care. The behavior of the camera system needs to be controlled by ground commands to support on-orbit calibration and to adjust imaging parameters and to perform early stage on-orbit image correction, like gain and offset control, non-uniformity correction, etc. The operation status including the temperature of the sensor needs to be transferred to the ground-station. The preparation time of the camera system for imaging with specific parameters should be minimized. The camera controller needs to synchronize the operation of cameras for every channel and for every spectral band. Detail timing information of the image data needs to be provided for image data correction at ground-station. In this paper, the design of the camera controller for the AEISS on KOMPSAT-3 will be introduced. It will be described how the image chain is controlled and which imaging parameters are to be adjusted The camera controller will have software for the flexible operation of the camera by the ground-station operators and it can be reconfigured by ground commands. A simple concept of the camera operations and the design of the camera controller, not only with hardware but also with controller software are to be introduced in this paper.

  • In this paper, a moving object surveillance system, which can extract moving object in real-time, using image subtraction method is described. This technique based on the novelty filter having the structure of neural network associative memory. Digital arithmetic and timing control parts were composed of hardwired controller to treat two-dimensional massive image information. SRAMS having 20 ns access time were used for the image buffer that has high speed write/read property. Image extraction algorithm is discussed and supported by simulation and experiments.

  • An PIAGP generator for TFT-LCD production has been proposed in this paper. The proposed generator was implemented using careful control of timing controller signals using a FPGA. The generator displays successfully the intended pattern sequence(REDlongrightarrowGREENlongrightarrowBLUElongrightarrowWHITElongrightarrowBLACK) and the result are demonstrated at the conference site. The advantage of the use of the proposed generator is the simplification of production equipments and the pattern generator.

  • Each LCD TFT panel requires a power supply IC on the panel board. The IC provides the power rails for the timing controller, source and gated driver IC and others. The industry trend moves towards higher integrated devices. The challenge for the panel manufacturer is the development and implementation of such an IC in cooperation with the semiconductor supplier. If not done carefully the solution will not reduce the overall solution cost or can't provide the expected performance and reliability. This paper discusses the key considerations to successfully develop and integrate a highly integrated LCD bias IC into the system.

  • In this research, we port the RT-Linux to MVME 5100 board which is driven by VxWorks or Vertex until now. And, we developed the data logging modules by using the RT-Linux. This module gathers two different scan timing data from plant and sends this data to the host controller with real time.

  • A hierarchical motion control system for animation of 3D human character is implemented using the motion database in realtime. The proposed motion control system consists of coordination controller for gait timing and balancing of walking motion, joint servo controller for realistic limb movement, and motion database for goal-directed character animation which makes time-consuming animation relatively easy task. As one example among the various applications of the proposed motion control system. We present a simple virtual reality system in which the motion control system plays a central role in generating realistic motion of virtual human character.

  • In this paper, several cases of multi-shared bus architecture are discussed and in order to decrease the bridge latency, the architecture introducing a memory decoder is proposed. Finally, a LCD controller using DMA master is integrated in this bus architecture that is verified due to RTL simulation and FPGA board test. DMA, LCD line buffer and SDRAM controller are normally operated in the timing simulation using ModelSim tool, and the LCD image is confirmed in the real FPGA board containing LCD panel.

  • This paper describes an experimental Knowledge-Based Control System, named KBCS, for manufacturing and assembly. The KBCS of five parts and function : data-base, knowledge acquisition, optimization, and graphic monitoring. The KBCS is utilized for a FMS which is of five machine centers and automatic assembly lines. Each machine can perform almost all manufacturing functions which some difference in efficiency. Buffers store temporarily the incoming components and the outing components. Parts arrive at assembly lines after many steps of manufacturing, and the transfer path and time are determined by procedural knowledge of control systems. Nine different incoming components are set up. The total control system is expected to perform four algorithms, timing algorithm ,sequencing algorithm, penalty algorithm, and cart algorithm. The construction of controller require basic components of manufacturing systems in which knowledges are formulated on the base of the results and the repeated simulation of KBCS with graphic monitoring system. Simulation results by KBCS are compared with those by the other rules of manufacturing.
