  • Methylammonium lead halide ($MAPbX_3$, X = I, Br) thin films, used as the light absorber of perovskite solar cells, were prepared using the dual feed ultrasonic spray method. Going through a deposition at a substrate temperature of below $60^{\circ}C$ and then a final heat treatment at $75^{\circ}C$ for 5 minutes using dual feed ultrasonic spray method, $MAPbI_3$ single phase could be formed. Whereas undergoing a deposition at temperatures above $80^{\circ}C$, the spheroidal grains could be changed into rod-shaped fractal structures due to the decomposition of the perovskite phase. Furthermore, using the same method at a higher heat treatment temperature of $100^{\circ}C$, $MAPbI_{3-x}Br_x$ thin films could also be formed from $MAPbI_3$ and $MAPbIBr_2$ solution.

  • ZnO thin films are of considerable interest because they can be customized by various coating technologies to have high electrical conductivity and high visible light transmittance. Therefore, ZnO thin films can be applied to various optoelectronic device applications such as transparent conducting thin films, solar cells and displays. In this study, ZnO rod and thin films are fabricated using aqueous chemical bath deposition (CBD), which is a low-cost method at low temperatures, and environmentally friendly. To investigate the structural, electrical and optical properties of ZnO for the presence of citrate ion, which can significantly affect crystal form of ZnO, various amounts of the citrate ion are added to the aqueous CBD ZnO reaction bath. As a result, ZnO crystals show a nanorod form without citrate, but a continuous thin film when citrate is above a certain concentration. In addition, as the citrate concentration increases, the electrical conductivity of the ZnO thin films increases, and is almost unchanged above a certain citrate concentration. Cu(In,Ga)Se2 (CIGS) solar cell substrates are used to evaluate whether aqueous CBD ZnO thin films can be applicable to real devices. The performance of aqueous CBD ZnO thin films shows performance similar to that of a sputter-deposited ZnO:Al thin film as top transparent electrodes of CIGS solar cells.

  • The spacer grid is one of the main structural components in a fuel assembly. It supports fuel rods, guides cooling water and maintains geometry from external impact load and cyclic stress by the vibration of nuclear fuel rod, it is necessary to have sufficient strength against dynamic external load and fatigue strength. In this study, the mechanical properties and fatigue characteristics of laser beam welded zircaloy thin sheet are examined. The material used in this study is a zirconium alloy with 0.66 mm of thickness. The fatigue strength under cyclic load was evaluated at stress ratio R=0.1. S-N curves are presented with statistical testing method recommend by JSME- S002 and compared with S-N curves at R.T. and $315^{\circ}C$. As a result of the experimental approach, the design guide of fatigue strength is proposed and the results obtained from this study are expected to be useful data for spacer gird design.

  • Micro punching is one of general methods to fabricate simple holes such as permanent ink-jet printer nozzles. A thin punch, that is need for micro punching, usually has been obtained by mechanical machining. There are some method to obtain a thin punch from a cylindrical rod, e.g., microgrinding and WEDG (Wire Electro-Discharge Grinding). Inefficiently, only one punch can be obtained from these machining methods. In contrast with these methods, many punches can be fabricated simultaneously by electrochemical process. Electrochemical process has usually aimed to obtain very sharp probe for atomic force microscopy (AFM) or scanning tunneling microscopy (STM), and it has not been considered the whole shape of a probe in spite of good merits. In this paper, an ultrathin punch with a tapered shape and a cylindrical tip is newly fabricated by electrochemical process.

  • Dendrimers represent a new class of synthetic macromolecules characterized by a regularly branched treelike structure. Multiple branching yields a large number of chain ends that distinguish dendrimers from conventional star-like polymers and microgels. The azobenzene dendrimer is one of the dendrimeric macromolecules that include the azo-group exhibiting a photochromic character. Due to the presence of the charge transfer element of the azo-group and its rod-shaped structure, these compounds are expected to have potential interest in electronics and photoelectronics, especially in nonlinear optics. In the present paper, we give pressure stimulation to organic thin films and detect the induced displacement current. Functional photoisometrization organic molecular the photo-stimulus to organic monomolecular L-films and LB films of dendrimer and 8A5H were performed. The 8A5H organic monolayer in case of pressure stimulus occurred that positive course but in case of the photo-stimulus compared positive and negative. It is assumed that generation forms of displacement current were measured when photo-stimulus for Impression.

  • Monolayers of lipids on a water surface have attracted much interest as models of biological membranes, but also as precursors of multilayer systems promising many technical applications. Until now, many methodologies have been developed in order to gain a better understanding of the relationship between the structure and function of the monolayers. Maxwell displacement current (MDC) measurement has been employed to study the dielectric property of Langmuirfilms. MDC flowing across monolayers is analyzed using a rod-like molecular model. A linear relationship between the monolayer compression speed a and the molecular area Am. Compression speed a was about 30, 40, and 50 mm/min. Langmuir-Blodgett(LB) layers of Arachidic acid deposited by LB method were deposited onto slide glass as Y-type film. The structure of manufactured device is Aul Arachidic acid! AI, the number of accumulated layers are $9{\sim}21$. Also, we then examined of the Metal-Insulator-Metal(MIM) device by means of I-V. The I-V characteristics of the device are measured from -3 to+3 V. The insulation property of a thin film is better as the distance between electrodes is larger.

  • In the Langmuir-Boldgett(LB) technique, a monolayer on the water surface is transferred on to a substrate, which is raised and dipped through the surface, and one can obtain multilayers in which constituent molecules periodically are arranged in layer. The LB technique has attracted considerable interest in the fabrication of electrical and electronic device, e.g.. • Personal ornaments made from precious metals that have been excavated from tombs dating to the Maripgan period (4th-6th century) of the Silla Kingdom are a major subject of analysis in the study of gender and hierarchy among the tomb occupants. Nonetheless, bracelets had been neglected until Ha Daeryong's recent research on determining gender through bracelets attracted attention. Accordingly, an examination and organization of the fundamental elements of Silla bracelets was needed. In response, this paper examines their physical characteristics, appearance, changes over time, and related wearing practices. The data for this study is derived from 176 bracelets, mostly made from silver or gold. Copper and glass bracelets are also included. Many of them were cast in a single-use earthen mold. Even the notched and protruding designs were created by casting rather than carving. Glass bracelets and bracelets with dragon designs were made using molds with round cavities. Excluding those produced using metal sheets, the rest of the bracelets are thought to have been cast in a mold with a long-string-shaped cavity and then bent round. After being bent, the two ends were either soldered together (closed type) or left open (open type). As demonstrated in the study by Lee Hansang, Silla bracelets evolved from plain rounded rod-shaped bracelets, such as the one excavated from the Northern Mound of Hwangnamdaechong Tomb, to versions with notched designs, and eventually to those with protruding designs, which gained popularity by the sixth century. The precedents of plain rounded rod-shaped bracelets are presumed to have been thin rod-shaped bracelets from the Proto-Three Kingdoms period. Bracelets need to be fit to the wrists so that they do not slip off easily when worn. The open type design was the preferable way to achieve this. Moreover, given the ductility of gold, silver, and copper, it seems that it would have been possible to stretch or deform them. In the end, I concluded that even if a bracelet is too small to pass man's hand, the open type could have been worn. Furthermore, if a closed-type bracelet were pressed into an oval shape, it would not be impossible for a man to put it on. When bracelets are divided according to their degree of deformability into type A (the open type) through type D, which is almost impossible to deform, type A is commonly found with wearers of thin hollow earrings, and types C and D (which are difficult to deform) are not found with wearers of thin hollow earrings, but only with wearers of thick hollow earrings. Therefore, it can be seen that men were allowed to wear bracelets, and the existing studies that differentiate between men and women based on the wearing of thin hollow earrings, thick hollow earrings, and swords remain valid.

  • Spray deposited Molybdenum trioxide (MoO3) thin film of thickness nearly 379 nm were irradiated with 200 MeV Ag15+ ion beam at different fluences (Ø) of 5 ×1011, 1 × 1012, 5 × 1012 and 1 × 1013 ions/㎠. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern of the pristine film confirms orthorhombic structure and the crystallinity decreased after irradiation with the fluence of 5 × 1011 ions/㎠ due to irradiation induced defects and became amorphous at higher fluence. In pristine film, Raman modes at 665, 820, 996 cm-1 belong to Mo-O stretching, 286 cm-1 belong to Mo-O bending mode and those below 200 cm-1 are associated with lattice modes. Raman peak intensities decreased upon irradiation and vanished completely for the ion fluence of 5 ×1012 ions/㎠. The percentage of optical transmittance of pristine film was nearly 40%, while for irradiated films it decreased significantly. Red shift was observed for both the direct and indirect band gaps. The pristine film surface had densely packed rod like structures with relatively less porosity. Surface roughness decreased significantly after irradiation. The electrical transport properties were also studied for both the pristine and irradiated films by Hall effect. The results are discussed.
