This research aims at suggesting a case of designing theme-based integrated learning for usage smart media. New approach and direction for developing a gaming instructional design was suggested which can encourage learners to participate in. Quest-based learning, the learning environment design where learners conduct various learner-centered activities, plays an important role of reinforcing the motivation, promoting experiential and cooperative learning based on social interaction. The design using QR codes has been proved to be able to offer the learner-centered learning environment which includes social interaction strategy required for learners expanding their cognitive structure, motivation enhancing strategy encouraging their consistent participation in learning, complex problematic situation and scaffolding strategy emphasized by constructivism. And it is expected to contribute to promoting the design of theme-based integrated learning which is being demanded in the educational environment recently by combining systematic design process and strategies.

This study categorized the literature on instruction models by research period, theme, teaching model, class, and subject to identify research trends. The sampling period was from 1977 to March 2013, and 586 research papers were analyzed. Changes in the studies on instruction models were divided into three stages: Stage 1 (1977-1996), Stage 2 (1997-2006), and Stage 3 (2006-2007). Research papers increased rapidly from 8% in Stage 1 to 51% in Stage 2, showing a rapid increase in Stage 2. "Design and development" was the most researched theme throughout the three stages, and the most researched instruction model type was "curriculum-oriented."By subjects, it was found that studies on "cross-curriculum" were being conducted more actively than other subjects. Based on these results, this study proposes directions for future domestic research on instruction models.

This study aims to investigate the presentation of the Nature of Science (NOS) in integrated science textbooks of the 2015 revised curriculum. The five integrated science textbooks published by the revised 2015 curriculum were analyzed with the conceptual framework of the four themes of the Nature of Science (NOS) (Lee, 2013) based on scientific literacy. The four themes of the NOS are 1. nature of scientific knowledge (theme I), 2. nature of scientific inquiry (theme II), 3. nature of scientific thinking (theme III), and 4. nature of interactions among science, technology, and society. The reliability of the textbooks analysis was measured between two coders by the Cohen's kappa and resulted in between 0,83 and 0,96, which means the results of analysis was consistent and reliable. The findings were as follows. First, overall theme II, nature of scientific inquiry emphasized on the integrated science textbooks of the 2015 revised curriculum by devoting the contents over 40 % in the all five publishing companies' textbooks. Second, while the theme II, nature of scientific inquiry was emphasized on the textbooks regardless of the publishing companies, other themes of the NOS were emphasized in different portions by the publishing companies. Thus, the focus among other three themes of the NOS was presented differently by the publishing companies except that in theme II, nature of scientific inquiry was most emphasized on integrated science textbooks. Third, the presentation of the NOS was identified similarly across the topics of integrated science textbooks except on topic 4. Environment and Energy. The theme IV, nature of interactions among science, technology, and society was emphasized reasonably only in the topic of Environment and Energy of the textbooks. Finally, the presentation of the NOS in the integrated science textbooks of the 2015 revised curriculum were more balanced among the four themes of the NOS with focus on the scientific inquiry compared to the previous curriculum textbooks.

The study seeks to explore essential factors that influence tourists' continual revisit intentions to storytelling. The variables some factors such as education value, emotional value, theme value, satisfaction, and revisit from the model to achieve the research objective. The survey was conducted by users who has previously experienced tourism storytelling. Structural equation modeling is used to investigate the relationships between the factors and results show that 'education value', 'emotional value', and 'theme value', a variables are positively related to tourists satisfaction and revisit intentions. In particular, two factors which are education and theme had strongly significant of tourist's attitude. The identified factors that influence revisit intentions on storytelling can be useful for analyzing the market trends and suggesting industrial guideline of Jeju Island and Mt. Halla.

The purpose of this research is to apprehend what the power of professional learning community (PLC) to make home economics teachers participate is and how PLC activity contributes to reflective practice and change of participating home economics teachers by experiencing reflective practices. For this, self-reflective action research of Kemmis and McTaggart was conducted. Six home economics teachers participated voluntarily and totally 18 PLC sessions from May 31, 2013 to May 19, 2014 were held. Two themes of 'looking in classes' as a main practice theme and 'designing classes together' as a supporting theme were carried. Findings and conclusions of this study are as following. First, participants of PLC to get data and information on teaching and to solve problems with fellow teachers for better classes at first. However, they have become to comfort and sympathize each other about difficulties in school as home economics teachers. Second, through the PLC activity, they found they had uncomfortable belief about teaching and tried to practice solutions by critical and reflective thinking. Third, they put efforts in finding alternative framework of looking inside their classes for the fundamental improvement in teaching. For this, they formulated questionnaire to describe their own reflective practice through the alternative framework from a critical perspective in teaching, a view of student's learning, and a teacher's inner view for improvement of practice. Fourth, PLC activity for a year allowed them to combine theory and reality though reflective process by designing classes together and reflectively practicing them in classes.

Soundscapes have the potential to help people experience the historical background and cultural traditions by the scenery of a local area and to be used as a cultural and tourism resource. This concept was first explained in detail by M. Schafer and has been developed as a new way of experiencing landscapes using various senses. This research studied the soundscape of Kyodong Island, the so-called "Island of Peace" and designed new cultural acoustic content for education and tourism. Kyodong Island is located right below the Northern Limit Line and the whole island is in the Civilian Controlled Area. The political and economic status of the island has been changed dynamically by the Korean War and the division of the country. These days, the island needs to realize the vision of the "Island of Peace" in a more creative way using local resources, including its "cold war landscape" and the natural scenery of the region. This research applied the concept of a soundscape to document the island, and to reproduce it in an artistic way. A workshop was conducted to learn concepts and techniques of soundscapes with a sound artist. Listening, recording, conducting interviews, and literature research was used to study the soundscape of the island. After that, this research reconstructed the soundscape of the island through a soundscape composition. The main theme of the composition story was the "Hope and Wish for the Harmony and Peace" to show the vision of the "Island of Peace". The initial sub-theme for the introduction part was "First Encounter with Kyodong Island" arranging the representative soundscape, which could be the first impression of the region. The second sub-theme was "War and Tension" using several soundscapes as a metaphor for the tragedy of the Korean War. The third sub-theme was "Everyday Life of Kyodong Island" which described the energy of the present day, after the wounds of the war have healed. The final sub-theme was "Harmony and Peace" using traditional music and keynote sounds of the region as a reminder of the peaceful past, before the war. The recording files were documented as two types of sound maps. One was a two-dimensional map to show the soundscapes from one point of view, and the other used the online application called "Sound Around You". The final artwork was displayed at an exhibition and uploaded on YouTube to be shared publicly. Through this project, we discovered the potential of soundscapes as a medium to preserve the history and local identity, as well as presenting a new vision. The artwork will be exhibited at historically and culturally meaningful places on the Island to utilize the underused places as local tourist attractions and educational resources.

With the start of the digital transformation era, many changes have been made to the corporate environment. Companies are now in a competitive environment that is different from the past. There are so many technological innovations that cannot be imagined centering around the technology related to digital transformation. Unlike the past, research on technological innovation is also proceeding much. Therefore, in this research, we searched for papers on the theme of technological innovation from 2015 to 2019, focusing on the SCOPUS database. We collected 1043 papers that provide green among the papers and analyzed them using text mining technology and LDA method. As a result of the analysis, it was clarified that research on technological innovation is continuously increasing, and it was found that research for technological innovation in various fields is being conducted. In addition to the theme of technological innovation, various keywords related to technological innovation were also derived.

The Saemaeul Movement, which is the representative national campaign of Korea aimed at the development of local communities, has drawn a great deal of attention from home and abroad and formed an element of Korea's national brand since 2000. Accordingly, this research was conducted for the purpose of constructing a memorial park in Shindo Village, Cheongdo County, North Kyoungsang Province, which is a home to the Saemaeul Movement. As the Saemaeul Movement is benchmarked by many countries around the world today, this research aims to communicate the spirit and social value of the movement and disseminate its effects of local community development in rural areas through the construction of a memorial park. In this study, the design motive of the memorial park was conceived through the historical review and case studies of the Saemaeul Movement. In parallel, theoretical study was also conducted on design techniques as the basis of this research. In consideration of the characteristics of a technical article, this research was conducted in several phases. In the first phase, the conditions of the site where the park construction was planned were analyzed and the direction of its development was set. In the second phase, the main theme and the basic principles of planning were established, and the contents of the park construction project were devised in detail. In the last phase, a comprehensive plan was established, including a space layout to accommodate activities, facilities and programs to be introduced to the park. The park construction site ($106,000m^2$) was divided into four zones (memorial zone, historical theme park, education zone and experience zone) based on circulation planning aimed at creating memorial space, and was linked to eco-friendly ecological space in consideration of environmental features. At a time when the Saemaeul Movement is being propagated across the world, the result of this study will help create a place for its memorial and play a pivotal role to boost international movements aimed at promoting co-prosperity across the global village. It will also bear significance as an example of theme-based park construction in a rural area and the invigoration of a local community.

Korean arboretums where a large number of people are visiting could not do visitor's satisfaction in qualitative side and communication through education and event, although a lot of those things statistically have been doing so far. At this side, it needs an arboretum's segmentation: preparing to an adaptation strategy of a new paradigm, differentiated strategy, and problem solving strategy tied by a similar group for the Korean arboretum visitors. This research tries to classify several patterns with Korean arboretums by visitor's behavior and propose each type of subspecialized management plan after analyzing characteristic of supply and demand. The research for this tries to classify several patterns of Korean arboretum and suggest segmentalzed management plan by types after analyzing characteristics of aspects of demand and supply. By looking at the main patterning result of arboretum as a standard of the demand, there were four sorts of arboretums. In the first, it is the arboretum of intermediate type: not a clear characteristic. In the second, it is an arboretum of multipurpose resort type: strongly demanding motivational factors of a rest, health, access, low cost, experience, learning and sightseeing. In the third, it is an arboretum of theme tour type: a strong sightseeing motivational factor and demanding appreciate scenery. In the last, it is an arboretum of studying and admiring type: demanding a motivational factor of sightseeing landscape and plants, a strong experience and learning.

In this paper, The purpose of this qualitative research was to explore the experience of the Family Strengths of Married Migrant Women. The study was conducted on 18 immigrant women. Data collection was conducted in two focus groups of nine from May 15 to July 13, 2017, and interviews were conducted one time per group. The interview took about one and a half hours to two and a half hours per session. The data collected by the Focus Group interviews were analyzed using Colaizzi's Phenomenological Research Method. Research has resulted in four categories and a set of 11 theme clusters. The essential structures include "water and oil", "greed for children's education", "to make matters worse" and "family strength following the resolution path getting stronger". In conclusion, understanding the family strength experience of married immigrant women could be used as a basic resource for establishing policies to improve the family strength of married immigrant women.
