가미청폐화담탕이 천식 유발 병태 모델에서 천식 관련 활성 면역세포에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Gamicheungpyehwadam-tang on Immune-cell Regulation in Association with Bronchial Asthma in OVA-induced Mouse Model)

  • These studies were investigated the effects of Gamicheungpyehwadam-tang (CPHDT) on immune-cell regulation in association with bronchial asthma in OVA-induced mouse model. The administration of 400 mg/kg CPHDT significantly reduced the number of total cells in lung, peripheral lymph node and spleen in OVA-induced bronchial asthma mouse model. The administration of 400 mg/kg CPHDT significantly reduced $CD3^+,{\;}CD19^+$and $CD3^+,{\;}CD69^+$ cell numbers separated from lung, peripheral lymph node and spleen in OVA-induced bronchial asthma mouse model. CPHDT significantly reduced $CD3^+/CCR3^+,{\;}CD4^+,{\;}B220^+/IgE^+$, and $CD3^+/DX5^+$ cell numbers separated from lung, peripheral lymph node and spleen in OVA-induced bronchial asthma mouse model in a dose dependent manner, However, CPHDT significantly reduced $CD8^+$ cell numbers from only lung and spleen. The administration of CPHDT significantly reduced $NK^+$ cell numbers separated from lung of OVA-induced bronchial asthma mouse model in all concentrations, but 200 mg/kg CPHDT reduced $NK^+$ cell numbers separated from peripheral lymph node. These results suggest that CPHDT has anti-asthma and anti-allergy effects. In addition to, CPHDT may be useful treatment of asthma based on the further studies about the individual efficacy search of the components of CPHDT and the adding of variety drugs to CPHDT.

  • Since the computing environment changes very rapidly, the estimation of software effort is very difficult because it is not easy to collect a sufficient number of relevant cases from the historical data. If we pinpoint the cases, the number of cases becomes too small. However is we adopt too many cases, the relevance declines. So in this paper we attempt to balance the number of cases and relevance. Since many researches on software effort estimation showed that the neural network models perform at least as well as the other approaches, so we selected the neural network model as the basic estimator. We propose a search method that finds the right level of relevant cases for the neural network model. For the selected case set. eliminating the qualitative input factors with the same values can reduce the scale of the neural network model. Since there exists a multitude of combinations of case sets, we need to search for the optimal reduced neural network model and corresponding case, set. To find the quasi-optimal model from the hierarchy of reduced neural network models, we adopted the beam search technique and devised the Case-Set Selection Algorithm. This algorithm can be adopted in the case-adaptive software effort estimation systems.

  • This paper is concerned with developing a Multi-period Behavioral Model for the portfolio selection problem. The unique feature of the model is that it treats a number of factors and decision variables considered germane in decision making on an interrelated basis. The formulated problem has the structure of a Chance Constrained programming Model. Then empoloying arguments of Central Limit Theorem and normality assumption the stochastic model is reduced to that of a Non-Linear Programming Model. Finally, a number of interesting properties for the reduced model are established.

  • In this paper, we propose the discrete model reduction method of bounded real transfer functions. From the discrete bounded real lemma, we obtain the two riccati equations and define the disrete bounded real balancing using solutions of these two riccati equations. And we get the reduced order discrete model from the GSPA of full order model. Especially, when free parameter of GSPA is .+-.1, we show that the reduced order discrete model retains minimality, stability, and bounded real and BR-balancing properties. And we derive the .inf.-norm error bound between full order model and reduced order model. Finally to illustrate the validity of proposed method, we give an example.

  • In this paper, we proposed a control technique that can be applied to various processes. The most of the process can bereduced to second order plus time delay (SOPTD) model. And we proposed improved model reduction algorithm using geneticalgorithm. This method considered four points to reduce the error between original model and reduced model in the Nyquistcurve. And, to compensate time delay, the Smith predictor plus PID controller is adopted. And a new PID tuning algorithm wasproposed, which got from numerical analysis and can be obtained the optimal performance. The PID parameters are obtainedfrom the coefficients and time delay of reduced model. The simulation results show the validity.

  • To review application of HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) transmission line to HVAC T/L in operation, reduced-scale model was designed and manufactured. The arms of model were designed to change height and interval of conductors. Electrical environmental interferences were estimated by various configuration of AC 345kV and DC 250kV T/L. The interferences such as electric field intensity and ion current density were measured and converted reduced-scale factor to full-scaled. Additionally, effects between AC and DC T/L were studied.

  • A linear form of reduced-order distillation model is proposed, which contains the physical properties of distillation process and can be used in real time applications. The proposed model is linear in terms of liquid mole fraction and contains some tuning parameters. To verify the applicability of the proposed model, the model identification using nonlinear filtering techniques was applied. As a result, it was found that this model represented the simulated distillation process very closely as the parameters were converged.

  • Reduced chemical kinetics mechanism has been derived, which can be applicable for autoignition model of hydrocarbon fuels, and contains 23 reactions and 18 species. The present model is validated with the experimental data, where the ignition delays of several hydrocarbon fuels, such as n-heptane, i-octane, n-decane and DME(dimethylether) are measured as equivalence ratios are varied. Especially, the effects of different fuels on ignition delays can be explained by changing the rate constants of three reactions among the present model. As a result, the proposed model can be applicable to two stage ignition model of Diesel combustion.

  • A reduced structure model of a wind turbine generator is designed and manufactured. Mode data are obtained by modal testing and analytical method. Vibration response is measured and investigated under various speed condition by using a waterfall plot. Possibility of severe resonance is observed and the mechanism is explained by using the mode data. Simplified theoretical model gives the 1st resonance frequency of wind turbine structure model. The theoretical model can be applied in the design stage of the wind turbine structure to avoid the severe resonance problem.
