주관적 사회적 지위가 일의 의미에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Subjective Social Status on Meaning of Work)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 주관적 사회적 지위가 일의 의미에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 주관적 사회적 지위를 한 개인이나 조직이 갖는 존경과 영향력으로 정의하고, 조직 내 개인의 주관적 사회적 지위가 높을수록 일의 의미를 높게 지각할 것이라고 예상하였다. 또, 조직 내 개인의 주관적 사회적 지위는 개인이 속한 직종의 주관적 사회적 지위보다 일의 의미 향상에 더 큰 영향을 줄 것이라고 예측하였고 두 개의 실험을 통해서 이를 검증하고자 하였다. 실험 1에서 미국 직장인을 대상으로 조직 내 개인의 주관적 사회적 지위와 직종의 주관적 사회적 지위가 일의 의미에 미치는 영향을 파악하였다. 실험 2에서는 한국 직장인을 대상으로 해당 가설을 반복 검증하고, 조직 내 객관적 사회적 지위인 계급에 따라 조직 내 주관적 사회적 지위가 일의 의미에 미치는 영향이 다를 것이라는 가설을 확인하고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 한국과 미국 직장인 모두 조직 내 개인의 주관적 사회적 지위가 높을수록 일의 의미를 높게 인식했다. 또, 조직 내 개인의 주관적 사회적 지위는 직종의 주관적 사회적 지위보다 일의 의미에 더 큰 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다(실험 1). 실험 2에서 객관적 사회적 지위인 계급에 따라 조직 내 개인의 주관적 사회적 지위가 일의 의미에 미치는 영향이 다른 것으로 나타났는데, 객관적 사회적 지위가 낮은 경우에는 개인이 조직 내에서 존경을 받고 영향력이 있다고 생각할수록 일의 의미가 향상되었지만, 객관적 사회적 지위가 높은 경우에는 조직 내 주관적 사회적 지위가 일의 의미에 미치는 영향이 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 학문적 의의, 한계와 미래 연구 방향을 논의하였다.

Study on Individual Hydrocarbon's Composition of Gasoline Fraction of Tamsagbulag Oil, Mongolia

  • In order to conduct research on oil originated in Mongolia for further application of petroleum not only as fuel but also as raw material for organic synthesis, we need to study the physical, chemical characteristics and individual, group hydrocarbon's compositions of main petroleum fractions. A number of studies and surveys on the physical and chemical characteristics, group hydrocarbon's composition of petroleum deposits in Zuun-Bayan, Sukhaibulag, Tsagaan Elst, Tamsagbulag have been carried out earlier through n-g-M, aniline point and dispersimetric methods successfully. Yet a detailed chromatographical and NMR spectroscopic study for the individual hydrocarbon's composition of Tamsagbulag oil main fractions has not been conducted. In the present study the results of GC analyses of gasoline fractions of wells 19-3, 19-13 and 19-10, Tamsagbulag (Eastern Mongolia) were presence. The gasoline fractions of given wells were characterized by the high concentration of paraffins and presence of trace amount of olefins. There were identified 69 paraffins, 45 naphthenes, 41 aromatics and 3 olefins in total 158 individual hydrocarbons from each samples of gasoline fraction. The first attempts to classify Tamsagbulag oil under the individual hydrocarbon's composition data were successfully conducted and the supposition of a genetic classification of given oil as "sapropelic" type was made.

대구 외식업 종사원의 직무소진에 관한 연구 - '가족-일 갈등', '일-가족 갈등', 직무만족 및 개인직무성과를 중심으로 - (Job Burnout of Restaurant Employees in Daegu City - With a Focus on 'Family-Work Conflict', 'Work-Family Conflict', Job Satisfaction, and Individual Job Performance -)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between 'family-work conflict/work-family conflict', job burnout, job satisfaction, and individual job performance in the employees at the restaurants in Daegu City. The sample of this study consisted of employees at the restaurants in Daegu City who visited the 2010 Daegu Food Tour Expo between October 7 and October 10. A total of 302 questionnaires were analyzed using statistical methods of factor analysis, reliability test, and covariance structural analysis. The research findings were as follows; firstly, work-family conflict was positively related to job burnout, secondly, job burnout was negatively related to job satisfaction and individual job performance and thirdly, job satisfaction was positively related to individual job performance. However, there was no relationship between family-work conflict and job burnout. The reason for rejection of the relationship between family-work conflict and job burnout was that family-related affairs were not important enough to affect job burnout among restaurant employees in Korea. This phenomenon happened differently in the US. Therefore, currently, restaurant managers in Daegu City should pay much attention to work-related affairs so as to mitigate job burnout as much as possible among their employees.

Analysis of Spatial Distribution of Hypertension Prevalence and Its Related Factors based on the Model of Social Determinants of Health

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the spatial distribution of hypertension prevalence and to investigate individual and regional-level factors contributing to the prevalence of hypertension in the region. Methods: This study is a cross-sectional research using the 2015 Community Health Survey. Total 64,473 people from 7 metropolitan cities were used for the final analysis. Geoda program was adopted to identify the regional distribution of hypertension prevalence and analyzed by descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA and correlation analysis using SPSS statistics 23.0 program. Multi-level analysis was performed using SPSS (GLMM). Results: The prevalence of hypertension was related to individual level factors such as age, monthly household income, normal salt intake, walking practice days, and regional level factors including number of doctors per 10,000 population, number of parks, and fast food score. Besides, regional level factors were associated with hypertension prevalencies independently without the effects of individual level factors even though the influences of individual level factors ware larger than those of regional factors. Conclusion: Respectively, both individual and regional level factors should be considered in hypertension intervention programs. Also, a national level research is further required by exploring various environmental factors and those influences relating to the hypertension prevalence.

Psychodynamics of Investments: Study on 'Fear' and 'Love' Among Financially Literate Investors in India

  • This study examines the emotional undercurrents of individual investors. Earlier finance theory was based on the assumption that investors would act rationally. According to the findings, it is the investors' collective expectations and anxieties that have an impact on their investment fortunes. This necessitates a high level of emotional stability on the side of the investors. Investors must have a firm foundation in financial literacy to have the requisite level of emotional stability. This study aims to add to existing theory and practice by analyzing whether investors who have received business-related education are less emotional than those who have not. For the survey inquiry of individual investors, 'fear' and 'love' are considered among the emotional undercurrents of individual investors. The research is based on a survey of 875 individual investors in India, 342 of whom had a business background and the others have none. It has been discovered that no investor, regardless of their level of business education, is emotion-free. Investors with and without a business education display emotional stability in many behavioral aspects of fear and love to varying degrees.

개인 및 조직 수준에서의 지역사회 역량 측정과 주관적 건강 수준과의 관계 분석: 서울시 D구와 Y구의 비교 (The Measurement of Individual-level and Community-level Community Capacity and their Association with Self-Rated Health Status: A Comparison of D-gu and Y-gu in Seoul)

  • Objectives: This study was to measure community capacity using individual-level and organizational-level capacity indicators and illuminated the relationship of community capacity and self-rated health status in two regions in Seoul, Korea. Methods: The data from individual surveys were obtained by quota sampling the residents of two autonomous gu in Seoul (N=1,000). The data from organizational surveys were obtained by snowball sampling lists of organizations in the possession of gu offices with a sampling frame (N=153). The survey tools were 6 indicators regarding residents' social capital and a sense of community and 5 indicators regarding community-based organizations and their networks. The analysis methods consisted of the effect of the components of capacity on health status and social network analysis. Results: As for capacity on individual levels, while D-gu was mainly developed inn individual capacity in terms of social interaction, Y-gu was stronger in a sense of community and cohesion among residents. As for capacity on organizational levels, Y-gu was more developed than was D-gu in associational networks. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop health promotion program per community and to strengthen partnerships with and among grassroots organizations based in local communities through the measurement of community capacity.

사회적 자본과 개인 동기가 정보공유와 커뮤니티 촉진에 미치는 영향: 중국의 가상커뮤니티를 중심으로 (The Effects of Social Capital and Individual Motivations on Information Sharing and Community Promotion: Focused on a Chinese Virtual Community)

  • Purpose Virtual communities change the way people communicate and share information. The purpose of this paper is to find how internet social capital and individual motivations influence the information sharing in virtual communities. This study considers the social capital theory, individual motivations, information sharing, and community promotion to construct a theoretical model. Design/methodology/approach Social capital focuses on three dimensions that include 6 factors: social interaction ties, centrality, shared language, shared vision, trust and reciprocity. Individual motivations include 2 factors: reputation and enjoy helping. To confirm the research model and the hypotheses, 426 effective questionnaires were used for the final analysis. Findings The result of data analysis demonstrates that social interaction ties, centrality, shared language, trust, and reciprocity were significant in affecting information sharing behaviors. However, reputation, enjoy helping, and shared vision does not appear to have a significant influence on information sharing behaviors. The information sharing was positively related to community promotion.

CAI 수업 형태가 중학교 가정 교과의 학습에 미치는 효과 (Effect of CAI on Home Economics Class of Middle School25)

  • The purpose of this study were to examine the difference of the effect of CAI and students’attitude to Home Economics Class through CAI. 120 girl students of the first year were chosen at B middle school in Daegu. Among them each 30 students were classified into 4 groups; High Intelligence group/Individual learning pattern, High Intelligence group/Small group learning pattern, Low Intelligence group/Individual learning pattern, Low Intelligence group/Small group learning pattern. The task of learning was “management of washing”Unit of the second grade. The data were processed with Cronbach’s ${\alpha}$, t-test, ANOVA by SPSS/PC(sup)+. The research findings are as follows: 1. In the verification of CAI Learning effect according to student group pattern, there is no difference between Individual learning pattern and Small group learning pattern in Achivement and Retention of learning. 2. In the verification of CAI Learning effect according to student intelligence level, there is no difference between High Intelligence group and Low Intelligence group in Achivement and Retention of learning. 3. The result of students’attitude to Home Economics Class verificated is an follows. (1) Individual learning pattern is more attensive than Small group learning pattern, but there is no difference in Intelligence level. (2) Low Intelligence group is more positive than High Intelligence group, and Small group learning pattern is more positive than Individual learning pattern in a view of Home Economics Class after using CAI.

Establishment of an Individual Identification System Based on Microsatellite Polymorphisms in Korean Cattle (Hanwoo)

  • This study was conducted to establish an individual identification system comprising of 19 microsatellite markers located on different bovine autosomes. The markers were typed on 257 animals from five cattle breeds. In total, 112 alleles were detected from the genotyping of 19 microsatellite markers. The average heterozygosities ranged from 0.292 to 0.824 and the polymorphic information content (PIC) ranged from 0.274 to 0.817 in Hanwoo. We found that there were differences in allele frequencies in Hanwoo when compared with other cattle breeds. The calculated cumulative power of discrimination (CPD) was 99.999% when nine microsatellite loci were used for analysis in the individual identification system. Also the matching probability, the probability that two unrelated animals would show the same genotypes, was estimated to be $0.44{\times}10^{-9}$. Therefore, the nine markers used in this study will be used for individual identification in two million Hanwoo individuals.

가솔린 엔진의 흡기밸브 리프트 변화에 따른 개별실린더 당량비 추정 및 제어 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (A Study on Individual Cylinder Equivalence Ratio Estimation and Control Algorithm for SI Engines)

  • In a spark ignition engine, a variable valve lift (VVL) system has been developed for high fuel efficiency and low power loss. However, changes in valve lift cause deviations of cylinder air charge which lead to individual cylinder equivalence ratio maldistribution. In this study, in order to reduce the maldistribution, we propose individual cylinder equivalence ratio estimation and control algorithms. The estimation algorithm calculates the equivalence ratio of each cylinder by using a mathematical engine model which includes air charging, fuel film, exhaust gas, and universal exhaust gas oxygen sensor (UEGO) dynamics at various valve lifts. Based on the results of estimated equivalence ratio, the injection quantity of each cylinder is adjusted to control the individual cylinder equivalence ratio. Estimation and control performance are validated by engine experiments. Experimental results represented that the equivalence ratio maldistribution and variation are decreased by the proposed algorithms.
