노인부양의 현실과 그 새로운 방향: 1990년대 연구를 중심으로 (The Realities in the Elderly Caregiving and Its New Direction: Revisiting Caregiving Researches in the 1990s)

  • This paper reviews researches related with the elderly caregiving, which hale published during the 1990s. After analyzingthe 29 articles in this field, the major findings are as follows: First, the advantageous position in life chances which is consisted of socioeconomic status and resources tends to reduce th burden for the elderly care. The higher in social status, the more resources older adults have, the more advantageous in controlling their relationship with their children and caregivers. Second, values based on familism is more associated with providing caregiving services for their parents than those of filial piety. Third, the tendency that daughter-in-law takes the role of the primary caregiver suggests a possibility of diminishing her enthusiasm, and finally comes to recognize her role as an enforced one, as time goes by. Fourth, cargiving burden affects the diverse aspects of caregiver's way of life. When the lower class elderly has dementia, caregiving stress and hassle have reached at their peak level. For meeting the needs of reducing the burden for the elderly care, this study suggests community- based approach for the elderly care. This approach attempts to share the caregiving burden with local community. To share the burden means that the boundaries of caregivers does not limit family members, but to expand community. This attempt includes a plan that establishes multipurpose community center which provides comprehensive services and care for the aged. The theoretical rationale of this approach are also discussed.

일본인 디자이너가 현대 패션에 미친 영향 연구 (A Study on the Influence of Japanese Designer Works in Contemporary Fashion)

  • This study was intended to probe the scheme for correctly making Korean fashion design known to the world. It is because its suggestion could find out in the current influence of Japanese designer works led to fashion in Europe and the U.S. It can be said that this success was attributed to Japanese high economic growth, increased interests in fashion, increased awareness of the fashion industry, production of designers activity in the world area, systematic and active support of the fashion circles and government for the fashion industry and so on. Korean government has recently begun to attempt to nurture Koreanism or Korean look as world-class fashion. But there are a considerable number of obstacles in making Koreanism or Korean look known to the world due to such several factors as the lack of interests in fashion, the lack of globally active designers, and the like. It is necessary to nurture the fashion industry and educate and train designers for the long-term perspective. In addition, both the government and the fashion circles need to provide for more active and reasonable policy for holding the Korean Fashion Fair, expanding the Seoul Collection to the more global level, opening the way for new designers, and so forth. Furthermore, our academic circles need to make much research on the scheme for the glottalization of Koreanism or Korean look.

Contemporary Scarf Design influenced by William Morris

  • In human history, scarf has acted not only as a protection for body but also as a symbolization of class. Today, scarf has become a whole field in fashion and an important accessory to express individuality in fashion. Hence, like other fashion item, it is very important to develop exclusive design for scarf by analyzing the current fashion trend. In this research, we have designed a scarf textile, accordance with the contemporary design trend, applying the floral pattern, designed by William Morris who was an artist considered as the founder of the 1800s arts and crafts movement. We selected four trend themes, "Salon de Archives", "Eco Tech", "Profound Nature", and "Neo Aristo" for the design of 2007/2008 Fall/Winter. The flower motifs in Pimpernel Wallpaper, Honeysuckle textile design, Acanthus Wallpaper, Garden tulip wallpaper, Evenlode printed cotton, Trellis Wallpaper, and Chrysanthemum Wallpaper, by William Morris who expressed an image of environment friendly and nature reversion, applied to develop new creative scarf through design after modifying and rearranging these flower patterns. After the pattern was drawn by hand, adjusting of color and repeating of the design was done with DTP (Digital Textile Printing). Through this research, the researchers hopes to be of assistance to the development of national scarf brand design, and to the recapturing of textile industry that once played a important role in Koreans economic development.

현대 도시 주거의질(질) 예측을 위한 개념적 모형에 관한 연구 -서울과 대전 지역을 중심으로- (A Study on a Conceptual Model for Housing Quality in Urban Area)

  • The purpose of this study was to present a conceptual model for predicting housing quality. Housing quality was measured in three ways: perceived quality about physical features of houses, perceived level of the quality in comparison with perceived average level I urban area and housing satisfaction. The specific objectives to achieve the purpose were ; 1) to measure the perceived quality about physical features of houses and perceived level of the quality in comparison with the perceived average level I urban 2) to measure the level of housing satisfaction 3) to clarify the causality between the composite variables of housing quality. A final instrument was developed through two stage pilot surveys. The respondents were 1292 homemakers of middle and high economic class in seoul and Daejeon, selected through stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected during March and April, 1986, and analyzed using SPSS and SAS computer packages. The statistics used were frequency, percentage, F-test, Duncan's Multiple Range, x2, Cramer's V, Multiple linear Regression, Path analysis. The major finding were as follows; the variables significantly related to predict the housing quality were found. The simple, composite variables and 3 measures of housing quality were linked using path analysis, thereby a conceptual model predicting housing quality was suggested.

2007년 개정 교육과정에 기초한 7학년 가정 교과서에 반영된 실천적 추론 과정의 분석 (Analysis of the Practical Reasoning Process Presented in Home Economics Textbooks of 2007 Revised Curriculum)

  • 이 연구는 2010년부터 학교현장에서 사용되고 있는 2007년 개정 교육과정에 기초한 7학년 가정 교과서에서 실천적 추론 과정이 어떻게 반영되었는지 살펴보았다. 실천적 추론 과정의 요소에 따른 교과서 분석에서는 발간된 교과서 12권을 모두 분석하였으며, 도입-본문내용-활동-정리 및 평가영역으로 교과서 체계를 재구성하여 분석 대상영역을 정하였다. 분석 준거는 기존 여러 문헌으로부터 '실천적 추론 과정의 요소'를 도출하였으며, 이를 '가치를 둔 목표-문제의 배경과 맥락-대안적 행동과 방법-행동의 파급효과-행동 및 평가'의 요소로 분류하여 각각의 요소에서 다루는 내용 및 질문을 추출하였다. 각 교과서별로 실천적 추론 과정의 요소가 어떻게 반영되었는지를 살펴본 결과 첫째, 실천적 추론 과정의 요소가 반영된 가정 교과서는 10권으로 도입영역에서 다루고 있는 교과서는 총 6권이었으며, 주로 행동의 파급효과 과정이 반영되어 있었다. 둘째, J교과서는 실천적 문제 중심으로 서술된 교과서로써 거의 모든 소단원의 주제를 실천적 문제로 제시하고, 실천적 추론 과정의 요소로 본문내용을 구성하였다. 셋째, 활동영역은 실천적 추론 과정의 요소를 가장 많이 반영하고 있는 영역으로, 모든 교과서에서 다루고 있었다. 마지막으로 정리 및 평가 영역은 4권의 교과서에서 실천적 추론 과정의 일부 요소가 반영되어 있었다. 교과서에 실천적 추론 과정이 반영된 유형과 문제점을 분석한 결과 첫째, 가치를 둔 목표가 부재된 유형이 있었다. 둘째, 본문내용에 실천적 추론 과정이 반영된 유형이 있었다. 셋째, 실천적 추론과정의 요소를 반영하였지만 일반적 문제 해결 과정으로 다루어진 유형이 있었다. 넷째, 서로 다른 교육과정 관점에서 소단원의 주제 및 본문내용이 서술된 유형이 있었다. 다섯째, 실천적 추론 과정의 일부 요소를 제시한 유형이 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 이상으로부터 2007년 개정 교육과정에 기초한 7학년 가정 교과서에 반영된 실천적 추론 과정의 요소는 활동영역에 치중되어 있었으며, 대부분 실천적 추론의 일부 요소가 누락되어 있는 것을 알 수 있다. 따라서 앞으로 가정 교과서 개발 시 실천적 추론 과정의 요소들이 각각 제 기능을 발휘할 수 있도록 실천적 추론 과정의 올바른 이해가 선행되어야 할 것이다.

서울지역 주거 유형별 거주자의 성격특성 (Adult′s Personality according to Residential Types in Seoul)

  • This study analyses the relationships between the residents'personality and the residential types, and between the sense of crowding and the residential types. For this purpose, this study surveys two hundred ninety three residents in their thirties and forties, residing in Seoul. We find that there are differences in the personality traits and also differences in the sense of crowding according to residential types such as high-rise/low-rise apartments, high-class private residence, multi-family houses. And these differences are due to the differences of inner and outer residential environment satisfaction. The lower a resident's inner environment satisfaction is, the higher is his/her sense of crowding. And low environment satisfaction and high sense of crowding appears to account for one's depression and anxiety. Conversely, the higher environment satisfaction is and the lower the sense of crowding is, the higher is his/her responsibility. Finally, this study tries to examine how each personality trait changes according to the habitancy duration. We find that residents having a 3-5 year habitancy record are more anxious and depressed than those who have been living more than 7 years in the same residence.

아동의 사회부과 완벽주의와 비관성 및 정서적 문제의 관계: 비관성의 매개효과를 중심으로 (Mediating Effects of Pessimism on the Relationship between Socially Prescribed Perfectionism and Emotional Problems in Children)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine: (1) the relationships among socially prescribed perfectionism, pessimism, and emotional problems represented by levels of depression and anxiety in children; and (2) whether or not pessimism mediates the relationship between children's socially prescribed perfectionism and emotional problems. 441 fifth and sixth graders residing in the national capital region participated in the study. Their data were collected with self-reported questionnaires in school class settings. Descriptive statistics and Pearson's product correlation coefficients were obtained using SPSS (version 18.0), and tests of the mediation were performed using SEM with AMOS (version 20). Significant correlations between children's socially prescribed perfectionism, pessimism, and emotional problems exist. Also, pessimism appears to partially mediate the relationship between children's socially prescribed perfectionism and emotional problems. These results seem to indicate that mitigating pessimism could reduce the possibility of experiencing emotional problems, such as depression and anxiety, in children who have strong beliefs to live up to the high standards, set unrealistically by others.

아동이 지각한 어머니의 양육태도와 어머니-자녀관계가 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Mother's Rearing Attitude and Mother-Child Relationship-as Perceived by the child on School Adjustment)

  • This study was to examine the effect of the mother's rearing attitude and mother-child relationship, as perceived by the child, on adjustment to school life. The present study investigated how the mother's rearing attitude and mother-child relationship, as perceived by the child, influence school life adjustment. The participants were 300 4th grade elementary school students (173 boys and 127 girls), in Seoul. The data were analyzed using Pearson's correlation and multiple regression, by SPSS 12.0 program. The results were as follows: 1) The child who perceived the mother's rearing attitude to be more rational and democratic, was more adaptive in school life. 2) The mother-child relationship that the child perceived, had a positive relationship with the school life adjustment of the child. The child who perceived the mother-child relationship more positively, was more adaptive in school life. 3) In relationship with the teacher and school class, the mother's democratic rearing attitude, as perceived by the child, was found to be the most affecting factor. In relationship with the classmates and school rules, the mother-child relationship, as perceived by the child, was found to be the most affecting factor.

가족구조, 부모와의 의사소통, 학업문제와 친구관계가 청소년 비행에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Family Structure, Parental Communication, Academic Problems, and Peer Relationship on Juvenile Delinquency)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of family structure(parentral marital status and socioeconomic status), parental communication, academic problems, and peer relationship on juvenile delinquency. The participants were 1009 middle school and high school students in Seoul city and Gyeonggi Province. The major results were as follows: 1) Parental marital status(divorced/seperated) had both direct and indirect positive effects and lower class in socioeconomic status had an indirect positive effect on academic problems and peer relationship on juvenile delinquency rates. 2) Open maternal communication had a direct negative effect on juvenile delinquency rates. However, open paternal communication had both direct and indirect negative effects. 3) Academic problems had both direct and indirect positive effects on juvenile delinquency rates. 4) Peer relationship had a direct positive effect on juvenile delinquency rates. 5) The level of effects that each variable had differed by delinquency types. Based on these results, implications for preventing juvenile delinquency were discussed.

중학교 가정교과의 SDGs 교육을 위한 지속가능한 주생활 교수·학습 과정안 개발 및 평가 (Development and Evaluation of Sustainable Housing Teaching-Learning Process Plan for Achieving the Global SDGs by Home Economics in Middle School)

  • 이 연구는 중학교 가정과교육을 통해 지속가능발전목표 달성에 기여하고자 지속가능한 주생활을 위한 교수·학습 과정안을 개발하여 실행·평가하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 연구는 ADDIE 교수 설계 모형에 따라 2009, 2015 개정 교육과정의 중학교 기술·가정과 기술·가정 2 교과서 주생활 단원을 분석하여 학습주제와 학습목표를 SDGs의 세부목표와 연계되도록 하고 전체 수업이 하나의 프로젝트가 되도록 설계하였다. 개발 단계에서는 다양한 모둠 활동(브레인라이팅, 만다라트, 비쥬얼씽킹, UCC 제작, 기획안 구상)을 통해 학생 중심의 4차시분의 교수·학습 과정안과 학습자료(개인 활동지 4개, 학생용 읽기자료 4개, 모둠 활동지 4개, 과제와 평가 활동지 각 1개, 동영상 7편과 사진 자료 다수가 포함된 PPT 4세트, 교사용 읽기자료 4개) 및 설문지를 개발하였다. 수업 실행은 2019년 8월 29일부터 9월 18일까지 3주간 충북 청주시 소재 Y중학교 남녀학생 4개 반 127명을 대상으로 이루어졌으며 123명의 평가 결과를 활용하였다. 학생들은 이 연구에서 개발한 수업 전반에 대해 긍정적으로 평가하였고 모둠별로 실시한 수업 활동과 성찰일기 작성은 학습목표 달성에 도움이 되어 학생들의 실천 의지를 키워주었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 이 연구에서 개발한 교수·학습 과정안은 지속가능한 주거 가치관을 형성하여 지속가능한 주생활을 실천하고 지속가능한 주생활 문화를 계승하는 목표 달성에 적절하며 나아가 가정과교육에서 SDGs 교육에 기여할 수 있음을 보여준다고 할 수 있겠다.
