주행조건에 따른 유로6 경유자동차의 RDE 특성 (RDE Characteristics of Euro 6 Light Duty Diesel Vehicles Regarding to Driving Conditions)

  • In order to improve the quality of air in urban areas, the emission regulations are being strengthened by the government. The on-road test of light-duty vehicles was started with PEMS because certification test mode does not sufficiently reflect on-road conditions. Therefore, The PEMS-based test was implemented from Sep. 2017 in Europe and Korea. However, this is lack of data on various on-road patterns in Korea. The purpose of the present study has analyzed the effect of speed per acceleration and acceleration on NOx emission on-road driving. The test route consisted of urban, rural, and motorway in Seoul. This study has been conducted by Euro-6 vehicles using on SCR system with PEMS. The on-road emission characteristics were evaluated by moving averaging windows (MAW) method. In results, RDE-NOx by severe driving pattern has been 1.4 times higher than soft driving pattern NIER Route 1.

동적·정적 자료 기반 도로위험도 산정 알고리즘 개발 (Developing Road Hazard Estimation Algorithms Based on Dynamic and Static Data)

  • 본 연구에서는 사업용 차량 수집정보를 통해 도로위험을 계량화하고 검증할 수 있는 네 가지 알고리즘과 관련 지수를 개발하였다. 도로위험도 산정을 위해서 사업용 차량의 블랙박스와 디지털 운행 기록계로 부터 원시 데이터를 수집하였다. 포트홀, 도로 결빙, 안개 등 가공 처리된 데이터는 사업용 차량 수집정보 공유시스템에서 생성이 가능하다. 도로 위험도 산정 알고리즘은 기본적으로 이러한 수집정보와 도로 기하구조 자료를 활용하였다. 가공 처리된 데이터에 따라 총 4개의 서로 다른 도로 위험 알고리즘과 관련 지표를 개발하였다. 과거 이력자료를 근거로 상습결빙구간 및 안개다발구간인 국도 19호선(강원도)과 국도 1호선(세종시 인근)을 대상으로 수동형 운행기록계를 이용하여 알고리즘 검증을 수행하였다. 단기적으로 실제 도로위험정보 취득에 어려움이 있어 가상으로 위험정보를 수집하여 알고리즘을 검증한 결과 특징적인 알고리즘 오류는 발생하지 않았다. 본 연구는 지점이 아닌 구간을 기반으로 도로 위험정보를 제공하기 때문에 도로 이용자는 물론 도로 유지관리기관에도 실질적인 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

NCPX를 이용한 도로 표층 유형별 노면 소음 비교 연구 (A Study for Comparing Road Noise by Surface Types using NCPX)

  • PURPOSES : The purpose of this study is to study the noise reducing effect of Micro Surfacing by comparing general asphalt, longitudinal tining and Slurry Seal. METHODS : This study measures vehicles' noise of each section by the NCPX method that can measure noise between the road surface and the tire at the field. Total sound pressure and sound pressure level by the 1/3 octave band frequency are calculated through the field data of each section. Total sound pressure level is compared by ANOVA test statistically. After ANOVA test, post-hoc test is conducted to know mean difference of surface type by Tukey. RESULTS : As the result of CPB analysis to confirm sound pressure levels by frequency, it was shown that sound pressure levels by frequency are totally similar except for those of frequency bands between 100Hz and 500Hz. The result of ANOVA test and post-hoc test, it was shown that sections of surface type have a difference. The result of Micro Surfacing was lower 2~5dB(A) than other surface type. CONCLUSIONS : It is found that the noise reduction performance of Micro Surfacing was better than other surface type.

도로 및 비탈면 유실 항구적 긴급복구를 위한 골재망 콘크리트 활용기술 개발 (Emergency and Permanent Repair Technology for Damaged Road Bases and Slopes using Gravel-Netting Concrete)

  • PURPOSES : The frequency and severity of natural disasters such as torrential rain or typhoons have become increasingly significant worldwide. Events such as summer typhoons and localized torrential downpour can cause severe damages to a residential area and road networks, resulting in serious harm to the daily lives of people, especially in rural areas by isolating residents from road networks. An immediate and emergency repair technology for the collapsed road networks is urgently needed. This study introduces a new technology to repair road bases or slopes. METHODS : The development of new technology for emergency and permanent repair consists of first, packing of cement paste-coated gravel, second, combining appropriate equipment, and third, conducting a field applicability test. In this research, the compressive strength of cement pastecoated gravel, gravel-netting concrete properties, and packing efficiency were determined, and a full scale field mock-up test was carried out. RESULTS : The compressive strength of the cement paste-coated gravel concrete satisfied the required limit for road base of 5 MPa after 7 days. With appropriate netting materials and packing size, gravel-netting concrete was successful up to a slope of 1:1.5. The full scale field mock-up test showed efficiency in the field and penetration resistance performance. CONCLUSIONS : The new technology of emergency and permanent repair for damaged road bases and slopes, introduced in this study, showed satisfactory performance. The technology is expected to be applied in the field when construction procedures and quality specifications are made.

지속가능한 장수명 모듈러 도로를 위한 지지 모듈러 시스템 (Support Modular System for Sustainable-Perpetual-Modular Road)

  • 본 연구에서는 도로의 건설 시간 및 유지관리 비용을 단축하기 위하여 제안된 지속가능한 장수명 모듈러 도로시스템의 하부구조인 지지 모듈러의 성능을 평가하였다. 하부 곡선면을 가진 Cross-Beam 형태의 지지 모듈러 4개로 구성된 모듈러 도로시스템을 Test-bed에 시공하였다. 6개의 하중계와 8개의 변위계를 중앙부 2개 Cross-Beam 형태의 지지 모듈러에 설치하였다. 2개의 하중, 50kN, 100kN을 도로 포장슬래브 15개 지점에 재하하여 모듈러 도로시스템에서 발생하는 하중 및 변위를 측정하였다. 측정된 변위들은 1mm 미만으로 실제 도로의 안정성에 문제가 없을 것으로 판단된다. 현장실험에서 적용된 2개의 재하 하중들과 측정된 하중값들을 비교해 보았을 때 하부 지반에 전달되는 하중은 매우 작은 것으로 판단된다. 지지 모듈러를 가진 모듈러 도로 시스템을 실제 도로현장에 적용 가능한 것으로 판단된다.

도로곡선반경에 따른 가변전광표지의 교통안전효과 분석 (An Analysis of Safety Impacts of Variable Message Signage as Functions of Road Curve Radius)

  • PURPOSES: The purpose of this study is to estimate the impact of variable message signage (VMS) on traffic safety as a function of road curve radius using statistical methods. METHODS: In order to analyze the impact of VMS installations on traffic safety, travel speed, lateral distance, and geometric data relating to road curvature in each study area was acquired and analyzed for the impact of providing VMS information on driver performance and traffic safety using statistical methods including student t-test, Mann-Whitney test, and the Anderson-Darling test for estimating traffic safety hazard zone in each lane. RESULTS: As a result of analyzing driver performance characteristics before and after providing VMS information, it was determined that by providing VMS information, mean travel speed is deceased and vehicles are driven with increased precision, following the centerline in the first and second lanes. Also the results of analyzing traffic safety impacts of VMS indicate that traffic safety performance factors in the first lane of the Gapyeong section can, on average, increase in the left and right side of the lane by 19.22% and 68.98%, respectively, and in the case of the second lane, safety impacts, on average, can increase in both sides by 100%. For the Hongcheon section, traffic safety impacts in the first lane, on average, can increase along the left and right sides of the lane by 32.31% and 47.18%, and within the second lane, traffic safety can be increased along the left and right side of the lane by 10.97% and -0.01%, respectively. CONCLUSIONS: Based on the results of this study, the impact on traffic safety obtained by providing VMS information for road sections with smaller curve radii is greater than can be obtained for road sections with larger curve radii.

시험도로 아스팔트 포장의 공용성 변화 분석 (Performance Evaluation of Asphalt Concrete Pavements at Korea Expressway Corporation Test Road)

  • 본 연구는 지난 4년간 한국도로공사 시험도로 아스팔트 포장의 주요 손상인자의 정량화와 그 변화를 다루고 있다. 포장상태조사 장비인 ARAN(Automatic Road Analyzer)을 이용하여 준공 직후인 2002년 12월부터 2006년 10월까지 총 5차례에 걸쳐 아스팔트 전단면에 대해 노면상태를 측정하고 소성변형, 균열손상, 그리고 종단평탄성을 중심으로 그 결과를 분석하였다. 실내시험을 통해 시험도로의 아스팔트 혼합물의 온도와 하중 재하속도에 대한 선형점탄성 거동을 비교하고, 표층용 혼합물인 ASTM 19mm에 대해서는 동탄성계수에 미치는 공극률의 영향도 검토하였다. 일반 밀입도 표층 단면의 차륜부에서 추출한 시편의 공극률을 측정하여 시험도로 포장의 다짐도 변화를 추정하였으며 이를 바탕으로 다짐도-포장 손상의 관계를 검토하였다. 교통하중과 포장 손상과의 연관성 분석 결과 소성변형과 균열을 포함한 노면 손상의 증가는 교통하중이 재하되는 시기와 바로 일치하지는 않았으며 오히려 온도와 같은 환경에 더 영향을 받는 것으로 관측되었다. 반면에 노면 평탄성은 공용년수가 증가 하면서 교통하중에 민감하게 반응하였으며 환경인자와의 상관성은 매우 낮은 것으로 나타났다.

  • Recently, slope failures are happen to natural disastrous when they occur in mountainous areas adjoining highways in Korea. The accidents associated with slope failures have increased due to rapid urbanization of mountainous areas. Therefore, Regular maintenance is essential for all slope and needs maintenance of road safety as well as road function. The purpose of this paper is to recommend a standard of a $N_{10}^{\sim}$ value of Distribution of a potential failure layer using PPT(Portable penetration test).

비포장 노면의 가혹도 관리에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Severity Control of Unpaved Test Courses)

  • The vibration environment essentially companied by vehicle operation on the road is determined by the shape of road surface, which is called profile. In general, the profile and severity of unpaved road is an important issue in the reliability of durability test for vehicles. In order to maintain severity of unpaved road, it is necessary to develop profilometer system. We developed profilometer system which is composed of data processing computer, power unit, air compressor and sensors. This paper focuses on the severity management of unpaved test courses using neural networks. This paper presents the maintenance range for cross-country course in CPG(Chang-won Proving Ground) and the evaluation of similarity degree between unpaved roads.

  • In general vibration test considers both harmonic vibration and random vibration, When developing the vehicle component. But the effect of harmonic vibration is larger in the parts around the vehicle engine, sole testing the harmonic vibration is considered. In this study, the fatigue damage of the linear system fixed around the engine is analyzed when the effect of random vibration is higher, harsher than the normal road surface condition. In condition the vehicle speed and the engine RPM are similar, the higher the harshness of the road surface condition is, the larger the fatigue damage level is. Therefore both random vibration and harmonic vibration must be considered in vibration test of components around the engine. Proposing the sine on random(SOR) vibration test that can exam considering both of vibrations, harmonic and random.
