우리나라 대다수 조사전문기관은 지역 성 나이대 할당표본추출에 의한 전화조사를 하고 있다. 그러나 평일에는 인구사회적 속성에 따른 개인별 재택률의 차이가 심하므로 체계적 응답자선택편향(respondent selection bias)이 우려된다. 문제 해결을 위해 조사시간대를 할당변수로 추가한 '시간균형할당표본추출'(time-balanced quota sampling) 방법과 저녁시간대 할당을 부분적으로 완화한 '시간균형준할당표본추출'(time-balanced quasi-quota sampling) 방법을 제안한다. 그리고 우리나라 통계청에서 2004년에 수집한 생활시간조사 원자료를 가상적 모집단으로 설정하여 새로운 할당추출법과 기존할당추출법에 의해 얻는 몬테칼로 표본들을 비교할 것이다.

The Phone Voting service allows subscribers to propose a voting through a telephone, and enables them to survey public opinion using telephone network. The demand on this service is growing faster and demands will be increased much more. It makes the bust traffic at the Toll SSP system on Intelligent Network because of the temporary bust traffic congestion on the Toll SSP compared to the normal call traffic. This paper will show what the problems and the causes are, and how we can solve them. The solution to these problems is an implementation of the SSP function on the Local Excange for the PV service.

one of the problems the users of DPS-6/45 used to face in the course of having access to work stations was that a telephone call has to be made manually every time to have receiver's modem on or off, and naturally it meant the waste of manpower as well as of time. A program has been worked out to automatically operate and control. utilizing the system clock within the main computer (DPS-6/45), the on/off switch on the modems. 전자교환기의 통화로부분에서 free인 통화로를 선택 접속시켜주는 방법은 통화로의 구성과 기능에 따라 달라진다. 본 논문에서는 일반 전화뿐만 아니라 TV전화, 데이타전송, 비데오텍스(Videotex),스테레오방송 등을 교환 접속시켜 주는 광대역용 전자교환기(Wideband switching system)의 교환접속망(Switching matrix)을 효과적으로 구성하여 통화로 선택이 전교환접속망에 걸쳐 고루 분포될 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다. 그리고 그에 따른 pathsearching simulation program을 작성하여 실예를들어 설명함으로써 본 논문에서 제안한 통화노선택방법의 유용성을 보였다.

Delay has influenced customer satisfaction while using a telephone. It has been ranked second after transmission impairments in annoyance to customers. Therefore, it is important to analyze its behavior not only to increase the quality of service for the customers, but to provide its information to network planners and administrators and to designers of equipment and systems. In this paper, we consider a log-normal model as a candidate for describing the statistical behavior of the post dialling delay, i.e., the time to connect a call to the telephone network after dialling. Based on the real data, the log-normalness of the post dialling delays are convinced for the long distance calls, but not supported for the local calls. Uses of graphical plotting paper and statistical test of fit art discussed.

In this paper, we proposed some valuable analysis results of cultivation campaign marketing in A mobile telephone company. The cultivation campaign marketing is a new outbound TM campaign strategy composed of 4 steps for new subscribers. During the analyses, attrition rate of A mobile company, outbound TM rejection rate, contact rate/call success rate and additional service attrition rate after subscription are measured as an effect of cultivation campaign. The results showed that there were no statistical significance in improving retention rate between customers experienced 4 step cultivation campaign and control group. However, the cultivation campaign had a better effect on improving response rate and success of selling additional service product of mobile company compared to general selling campaign. This is because cultivation campaign group had been taking care of from subscription time. It is suggested that cultivation campaign had better confined customers more likely to buy additional service to outbound TM for the sake of financial efficiency.

전화기의 자동 다이얼링 기능은 전화기에서 개별 전화번호를 자동 발신하여 비상시 긴급 전화 또는 홍보와 안내 등의 통신을 지원하는 기능이다. 본 논문에서는 국내외 자동 다이얼링 관련 규정을 비교 분석하고 이에 대한 제도적 정비방향에 대해서도 같이 논하기로 한다.

오늘날 인터넷은 가장 주목받고 있는 정보통신 혁명을 주도하였다. 가정이나 소규모 오피스에서는 홈 게이트웨이를 통해 인터넷에 접속하여 데이타와 음성 등의 다양한 서비스를 제공받고 있는 상황이다. 홈 게이트웨이 장비에 접속되어 인터넷 전화, 데이타 통신을 하는 통신장비의 개발은 매우 활발하게 이루어지며, 그 제품 또한 매우 다양하다. 본 논문에서는 흠 게이트웨이와 PC에 접속되는 두 개의 이더넷 포트 접속용 VoIP 전화기 기능을 보유한 장비를 임베디드 환경에서 설계 및 구현 과정을 제시하였다. 개발 환경으로는 ST Microelectronics사의 STLC1502를 싱글 칩 솔루션으로, VxWorks를 운영체제로, 코딩 언어를 ANSI C 언어로 사용하였다. 또한 개발된 시스템의 성능해석을 위하여 인터넷과의 통신시 호 설정 시간과 해제시간을 측정한 호 처리 능력과 파일 전달을 수행한 데이타 처리속도를 성능 분석 파라메터로 제시하였다 이때 호 설정 시간과 해제시간은 약 95ms가 소요되어 초당 약 10개의 호를 처리하였으며, 파일 전달은 서버 및 플라이언트 환경에서 5.7 Mbps로 처리할 수 있다. 따라서 실제 인터넷 환경에서 본 시스템을 사용하여 호 처리 및 데이타 전달시 만족한 성능을 얻었다.

Listener echos, which arise in multiple 4-wire loop connections(MLC) during the evolving switched telephone network, impare voice-band data signal transmission performance. This paper first shows the calculation method of the total number of listener echo loops over N 4-wire physical loops and presents the additative law for listener echos. It next demonstrates that about 4 dB should be ensured to Eke the transmission loss of intraoffice call path be minimum for the voice-band data service in a digital local switch.

음성 데이터를 IP기반의 패킷망을 통해 전송하는 기술인 VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) 기술은 음성 데이터를 기존의 PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network)망을 통해 전송하는 방식에 비해 비용 절감 등의 장점을 가지고 있다. 그러나 VoIP가 기존의 PSTN망을 대체하기 위해서는 QoS(Quality of Service)의 보장과 보안이 제공되어야 한다는 문제점을 가지고 있다. VoIP망에서 보안을 위해서는 사용자간에 전송되는 음성 데이터에 대한 보안과 초기의 세션 연결 시 사용자를 인증하는 과정이 고려되어져야 한다. 실질적인 대화 내용인 음성 데이터의 보안도 중요한 부분이지만 대화에 참여하는 사용자를 인증하는 과정이 선행되어야 한다. VoIP에서는 세션 연결 설정을 위해 H.323과 SIP를 사용하고 있으며, 최근에는 H.323에 비해 간단한 SIP가 주목을 받고 있다. RFC3261에서는 SIP를 이용해 세션 연결을 하는 과정에서 사용자를 인증하기 위한 몇 가지 인증 메커니즘을 제시하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SIP를 이용하여 세션을 연결하는 과정에서 사용자의 인증을 위해 사용되는 인증 메커니즘 중 한 가지인 HTTP Digest Authentication의 취약점을 분석하고, 이를 보완하기 위한 새로운 인증 메커니즘을 제시한다.
