The use of infrared range-finder sensor as the environment recognition system for mobile robot have the advantage of low sensing cost compared with the use of other vision sensor such as laser finder CCD camera. However, it is not easy to find the previous works on the use of infrared range-finder sensor for a mobile robot because of the non-linear characteristic of that. This paper describes the error due to non-linearity of a sensor and the correction of it using neural network. The neural network consists of multi-layer perception and Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm is applied to learning it. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified from experiment.

This study investigated consumers' enjoyment, perceived risks, expected values, and innovativeness factors and the effects of the convenience and personalization of "online to offline" (O2O) fashion mobile commerce on its perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and consumers' attitudes and intention to use O2O mobile commerce. A research model was developed using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). A mobile survey was conducted through smartphone messengers and SNSs targeting male and female college students in their 20s who are living in the Seoul Metropolitan Area. A total of 192 questionnaire responses were used in the analysis. "Among the consumer characteristics, only enjoyment and expected values were found to make consumers feel that the O2O fashion mobile commerce is useful and easy to use. Among the mobile commerce characteristics, only convenience was found to have significant effects on consumers' perceived usefulness and ease of use regarding O2O fashion mobile commerce. Perceived usefulness was found to have the effects on attitudes as well as intention to use toward O2O mobile commerce. It was shown that positive attitudes toward O2O mobile commerce led to positive use intention toward O2O mobile commerce.

1. In the past, the smoke-pipe type dry kiln being characterized by the low cost of installation and easy operation was only used by the small scale of wood processing enterprisers for drying softwood and finishing air-dried stocks that were belonged to easy drying properties. The smoke-pipe type dry kiln usually was not suitable for drying hardwoods and green woods because of the difficulties of controlling drying conditions. 2. However, the smoke-pipe type dry kiln heated with smokeless coal which was designed and constructed by the authers was demonstrated to maintain higher accuracy of controlling temperature and humidity than the other smillar types of kiln. Also, since it was constructed with home made equipments, it is supposed to offer the opportunity to install the kiln by the small scale of wood processing enterprisers who could not install the dry kiln because of economical and technical difficulties. Thus, it is expected that promoting the spread of installing the dry kiln will realize the rational use of wood.

In recent, there are many report about nonthermal disinfection using electorlyzed water, Also, foodborne illnesses associated with pathogenic bacteria such as Listeria monocytogenes and Escherichia coli O157:H7 have raised concerns about the adequacy of disinfectants (Kim et at., 2000). Foodborne pathogens in vegetables and kitchen apparatus are not easy to disinfect but also hard to use chemical compounds for disinfection. (omitted)

Purpose: This study is to examine the intention of the elderly who live alone in the customized AI speaker for the elderly living alone to improve the quality of life service for the elderly living alone in the smart city environment. Based on the quality of life model of the elderly, this study is applied to the technology acceptance model to investigate the relationship between perceived usefulness and ease of use on the sustained use intention. Research design, data and methodology: Residents in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, selected as candidate local governments for the Smart City Challenge Project of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in June 2019 to measure the perceived technology acceptance of potential users for the AI technology for the elderly living alone as part of the smart city technology. In order to evaluate the intention of using AI speaker, which is the target system of this study, a video of a chatbot using experience of elderly people living alone was produced. Results: First of all, in order for the elderly living alone to have an attitude to use AI-based speakers, there should be a perceived usefulness of the quality of life of the elderly. However, ease of use did not show any significant causal relationship to attitude toward use. In addition, the attitude toward use weakly influenced the intention to use. In other words, elderly people living alone were not likely to have a significant effect on their attitude toward use. However, feeling that AI speakers are easy to use will help to improve the quality of life, which in turn led to the attitude toward using AI speakers, which could lead to indirect effects. Finally, the perceived usefulness of quality of life was found to have a weak effect on direct use intentions. Conclusions: This study conducted a study on the technology acceptance of service environment to improve the quality of life for the specific user group who live alone in the smart seat environment. In this study, we examined the effects of AI speaker on the elderly living alone to improve the quality of life for the elderly living alone.

Interest and investment in cultivated meat are increasing because of the realization that it can effectively supply sufficient food resources and reduce the use of livestock. Nevertheless, accurate information on the specific technologies used for cultivated meat production and the characteristics of cultivated meat is lacking. Authorization for the use of cultivated meat is already underway in the United States, Singapore, and Israel, and other major countries are also expected to approve cultivated meat as food once the details of the intricate process of producing cultivated meat, which encompasses stages such as cell proliferation, differentiation, maturation, and assembly, is thoroughly established. The development and standardization of mass production processes and safety evaluations must precede the industrialization and use of cultivated meat as food. However, the technology for the industrialization of cultivated meat is still in its nascent stage, and the mass production process has not yet been established. The mass production process of cultivated meat may not be easy to disclose because it is related to the interests of several companies or research teams. However, the overall research flow shows that equipment development for mass production and cell acquisition, proliferation, and differentiation, as well as for three-dimensional production supports and bioreactors have not yet been completed. Therefore, additional research on the mass production process and safety of cultivated meat is essential. The consumer's trust in the cultivated meat products and production technologies recently disclosed by some companies should also be analyzed and considered for guiding future developments in this industry. Furthermore, close monitoring by academia and the government will be necessary to identify fraud in the cultivated meat industry.

간편 결제 서비스는 간편 인증 수단을 이용한 결제 및 송금 서비스이다. 코로나 19로 인해 온라인 거래가 증가하면서 간편 결제 서비스 이용이 증가하고 있다. 이와 함께 네이버페이, 카카오페이, 토스와 같은 전자금융업이 간편 결제 시장의 경쟁 구도를 다각화하고 있다. 해외의 핀테크 기업인 PayPal과 Alibaba는 자국 내 독보적인 점유율을 보유하고 있지만, 국내 간편 결제 시장은 독보적인 점유율을 차지하고 있는 업체가 없어 경쟁이 심화되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 간편 결제 시장 참여자를 전자금융업자, 휴대폰 제조업자, 금융회사로 분류하고, 각 업종의 대표적인 서비스들에 대해 SWOT 분석을 진행하였다. 구글 플레이스토어 실 사용자 후기를 토픽모델링 기법을 사용하여 분석하였고, 긍정 토픽을 강점으로 부정 토픽을 약점으로 활용하였다. 또한, 뉴스 기사를 P(정치), E(경제), S(사회), T(기술)로 나누어 토픽모델링을 진행하여 간편 결제 서비스에 대한 기회와 위협을 도출하였다. 본 연구를 통해 간편 결제 시장 참여자가 자사의 서비스 역량을 확인할 수 있도록 하고, 서비스별로 간편 결제 시장에서 우위를 점할 수 있는 서비스 활성화 전략을 제안하고자 한다.

A neuro-fuzzy based circuit to recognize circuit pat-terns is proposed in this paper. The simple algorithm and exemption from the use of template patterns as well as multipliers enable the proposed circuit to implement on the hardware of an economical scale. Furthermore, thanks to the circuit design by using current-mode techniques, the proposed circuit call achieve easy extendability of tile circuit and efficient pattern recognition with high-speed. The validity of the proposed algorithm and tile circuit design is confirmed by computer simulations. The proposed pattern recognition circuit is integrable by a standard CMOS technology.

A triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) can obtain electrical output due to the reciprocal motion between two objects (i.e., rubbing), in which repetitive contact is made. High reliability, stable output, and high reproducibility are important aspects of the electrical output obtained through a TENG as a sensor or generator, thus enabling its meaningful use. Therefore, many researchers fabricated TENGs into individual parts in the form of one module type to obtain high reproducibility and reliability. Since a TENG manufactured as a module type operates as a single device, it is possible to collect kinetic energy and convert it into electrical energy through the interaction between internally configured elements without the need for a separate structure. In addition, it is relatively easy to apply the size to the body, machine tools, and natural environment by simply adjusting the size suitable for use and surrounding environmental conditions. In this paper, the application cases of module-type TENGs are divided into four areas, and the research progress of module-type TENGs in each area is extensively reviewed.

Currently, it is not easy for most domestic public libraries to collect and provide reliable health information services on their own. Health information is distributed or professional, making it inconvenient for users to use. Based on the implications derived from the case study, the Library Health Information Integration Service Model was proposed as a specialized information service. The model consists of a composition shared by librarians, health and medical experts, and users, focusing on library websites that provide integrated health information integration services, and has the following features. First, it provides health and medical information on a specialized subject. Second, it provides integrated health and medical information services provided in various ways. Third, librarians and health and medical experts work together to provide information services. Fourth, users can freely use health information integration services online and offline. The model presented in this study means that libraries can play a leading role in health information integration services to increase the utilization rate of public libraries and further contribute to librarians serving as experts in health information services.
