임도 노선측량 작업의 작업분석 (Work analysis of route survey work on forest-road)

  • This study examined the work time, work posture, and work intensity for the actual measurement step in forest road the design work that was being carried out. The measurement of the forest road was being carried by a team of three workers and a team of four workers. The examination of work time found that the measurement of 1km took about 8 hours for the four-worker team and 12 hours for the three-worker team. The examination of work intensity found that the energy metabolic rates of the three-worker team were lower than four-worker team. Because their energy consumption per minute decreased as their work time and rest time increased. Furthermore, when appropriate rest time was applied according to work time, the energy metabolic rate decreased and the work intensity became lower. The four-worker team was more advantageous from the time and cost aspects of the forest road measurement work. Furthermore, as the rest time was very low compared to the work time, more efficient forest road measurement work would be possible if the work intensity was lowered by considering the rest time when calculating the standard work time.

창업기업의 일과 삶의 균형 효과: 조직 자부심과 업무 만족 (An Effect of Work and Life Balance of Startup: Focus on Organizational Pride and Job Satisfaction)

  • It is important for the Startup team to enhance their employee's work & life balance in recent ages. this study is to research the effect of work & life balance on organizational pride, job satisfaction and performance. Also, we explore how the organizational climate which compose with autonomy, leader's support and trust affects work & life balance. This study analyzed the path effect with PLS method using data from 151 Startup teams. The results of analysis are as follows. First, it was confirmed that supervisor's support, trust of team climate positively influence work & life balance but autonomy is not confirmed to have the relationship with work & life balance. Second, work & life balance have a positive effect on organizational pride and job satisfaction. In addition, this study shows that organizational pride and job satisfaction have the relationship between work & life balance and team performance. Also, Startup team managing the work & life balance will get better performance and retain the competition.

대학병원의 팀 운영특성에 따른 효과성 인식에 관한 연구 (The Employees' Perception of the Effectiveness of Team System at University Hospitals in Korea)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of team system at university hospitals in Korea. Data were collected from administrative and medical support workers at 4 university hospitals through the self-administered questionnaires and analyzed using frequency analysis, t-test, and oneway ANOVA. The results of this study are as follows. First, teams with higher team management characteristics show higher level of quality of work life and performance effectiveness. Second, teams which consist of members with variety background and skills show higher level of quality of work life and performance effectiveness. Third, team which have the higher autonomy, technology variety, job significance, and feedback show higher team effectiveness. Fourth, team which have team leaders with higher leadership score show higher level of quality of work life and performance effectiveness. Fifth, there are differences in team effectiveness in terms of sicio- demographic variables such as average age, position, and tenure of team members, length of team system, and team size. Sixth, the job autonomy of team members and the leadership of team managers have significant effects on the quality of work life variables. Seventh, the leadership of team leaders, job autonomy of members, and individual contact between team managers and members have significant effects on the team performance variables. In conclusion, in order to increase the effectiveness of team system in university hospitals, it is required to consider the characteristics of team management, diversity of team members, the autonomy of team members, the leadership of team manager, and the socio-demographic factors of team members.

Modified Ramp-Reset Waveform Robust for Variable Panel Temperature and its Discharge Characteristics

  • By the voltage threshold (Vt) close-curve measurement method, the changes in the discharge characteristics such as a firing voltage and IR emission among the three electrodes were examined relative to the low or high panel temperature ranging from -10 to $80^{\circ}$. The variation in the panel temperature was found significantly influence the surface discharge between the MgO surfaces rather than the plate gap discharge between the MgO and phosphor layers. Based on this experimental observation, a modified reset waveform that alleviates the surface discharge during a ramp-up and -down period was deeloped. By adopting the proposed reset waveform, a stable address discharge could be obtained irrespective of the panel temperature variation.

  • 최근 팀 구성원들은 팀 프로젝트 수행 시 모바일 메신저 서비스(MMS: Mobile Messenger Service)를 자주 활용한다. 팀 구성원들은 MMS 활용을 통해 언제 어디서나 자유롭게 아이디어나 의사를 표현할 수 있다. 하지만, 팀 프로젝트에서 MMS 활용은 오프라인 회의보다 빨리 프로젝트를 수행하도록 압박을 받고, 능력 범위 밖의 역할을 할당 받기도 한다. 즉, 팀 구성원들은 MMS 활용으로 인해 업무에 대한 압박감이나 스트레스가 증가할 수 있으며, 이러한 과부하는 팀 간 갈등을 야기할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 MMS 활용으로 인한 업무 과부하가 팀 성과에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 한다. 팀 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 팀 몰입과 팀 신뢰를 고려하였으며, 팀 갈등은 팀 몰입과 팀 신뢰를 저해한다고 예상하였다. 팀 프로젝트가 많은 135명의 대학생을 바탕으로 연구 모형을 분석하였으며, PLS를 활용하였다. 연구 분석 결과 업무 과부하는 팀 갈등을 야기하는 주요 요인으로 밝혀졌다. 즉 MMS 활용으로 인한 업무 과부하가 발생하다보면 팀 간 갈등이 야기될 수 있고, 이는 팀 구성원 간 신뢰를 저하시켜 결국 팀 성과가 떨어지는 결과를 초래하게 된다. 마지막으로 본 연구 논문에서는 팀 프로젝트를 향상시킬 수 있는 MMS의 올바른 사용 방법에 대한 시사점을 제공해주었다.

간호사의 셀프리더십 수준이 개인과 팀의 직무역할 수행에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Nurses' Self-leadership on Individual and Team Members' Work Role Performance)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine correlations between nurses' self-leadership and individual work role performance and correlations between self-leadership in nursing units and team members' work role performance. Methods: Participants were 202 conveniently selected general nurses from 5 general hospitals in Korea. The study was carried out on 35 nursing units. Data were collected during February 2015 with self-report questionnaires. Results: For factors affecting individual work role performance, self-expectation, self-goal setting, constructive thought, clinical career in the present nursing unit and marital status accounted for 44.0% of proficiency, while self-expectation, self-goal setting, constructive thought, and marital status accounted for 42.3% of adaptivity. Self-expectation, self-goal setting, constructive thought, self-reward, clinical career in the present nursing unit and position accounted for 26.4% of proactivity. In terms of team members' work role performance, self-reward and self-expectation in nursing units explained 29.0% of team members' proficiency. Self-reward and self-expectation in nursing units explained 31.6% of team members' adaptivity, and self-reward in nursing units explained 16.8% of team members' proactivity. Conclusion: The results confirm that nurses' self-leadership affects not only individual self-leadership but also team members' work role performance. Accordingly, to improve nurses' work role performance in nursing units of nursing organizations, improvement in nursing environment based on self-leadership education is necessary and nurses' tasks rearranged so they can appreciate work-autonomy and challenges of work.

공유리더십이 팀직무열의에 미치는 영향: 팀긍정심리자본의 매개효과와 직무특성의 조절효과를 중심으로 (Impact of Shared Leadership on Team Work Engagement: Focusing on the Mediating Role of Team Positive Psychological Capital and the Moderating Role of Task Characteristics)

  • 본 연구는 국내 기업의 근무자를 대상으로 팀 수준에서 공유리더십의 효과성을 연구하는데 있어 지금까지 국내에 별로 소개 된 바 없는 팀 변수인 팀긍정심리자본과 팀직무열의와의 관계를 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 공유리더십이 팀직무열의에 미치는 영향, 공유리더십과 팀직무열의간의 관계에서 팀긍정심리자본(Team PsyCap)의 매개효과 그리고 공유리더십과 팀긍정심리자본과의 관계에서 직무특성의 조절 효과를 검증하였다. 국내 16개 기업 100개 팀의 구성원 421명을 대상으로 연구를 실시하였고, 수집된 자료의 분석과 통계처리를 위하여 SPSS23.0을 사용하였다. 연구 결과, 높은 공유리더십 수준은 팀의 직무열의에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌고 이 과정에서 팀의 긍정심리자본이 매개 역할을 하는 것으로 검증되었다. 이러한 결과는 공유리더십이 팀긍정심리자본을 촉진하고 팀직무열의에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 주요 변인임을 입증하는 것이다. 그러나 공유리더십과 팀 긍정심리자본에 대한 직무특성의 조절효과는 지지되지 않았다. 마지막으로, 본 연구 결과가 주는 이론적 및 실무적 함의를 논하였으며, 마지막으로 연구의 한계 및 향후 연구방향을 제시하였다.

Work function engineering on transparent conducting ZnO thin films

  • A possibility of work function engineering on ZnO thin film is studied by in-situ and ex-situ doping process. The work function of ZnO thin film decreases with increasing boron and phosphorus doping quantity. But, the work function of Al-doped ZnO (AZO) thin film increases as the boron doping quantity incresess. The range of work function change on ZnO thin films is 3.5 eV to 5.5 eV. This result shows that the work function of ZnO thin film is indeed engineerable by changing materials of dopants and their compositional distribution of surface. We also discuss the possible mechanism of work function engineering on ZnO thin films.

Communication Strategies of Online-Based Leadership and Members' Work Engagement and Job Burnout

  • Work engagement and job burnout are crucial problems in Korea, particularly in the business environment, and they also indicate people's motivation. Online-based teams in e-business also have these issues. Especially the role of the leader in this new type of teams is more crucial for members' motivation, behavior, and performance. Contingency leadership theories posit that different situations need different traits or behaviors of a leader. For an online-based team, which is internet-based team in e-business, a leader should use specific communication strategies to enhance a team's performance and members' motivation. In an online-based team and an offline-based team, the ways in which leaders motivate members will be different. This paper suggests particular communicative strategies for leaders of online situations. Online-based team members communicate using mobile phones or IT tools, and leaders mayinfluences members in virtual meetings. Moreover, online-based leadership needs to be more entrepreneurial and risk encouraging, and less conservative than offline-based leadership. In addition, online-based leadership should be energetic, decisive, adaptable, and inspiring, and furtherutilize communication tools such as being more gregarious/talkative, assertiveness, linguistic diversity and affect. This paper explains the roles of communicative elements such as coordination, expression, direction-giving/uncertainty reduction, empathy, meaning-making, satisfaction, and competence to decrease job burnout and to increase work engagement. The purpose of this study is to suggest communication strategies' differentiated influences on work engagement and job burnout in an online-based team.

일-정 촉진과 지각된 팀성과 간의 관계: 웰니스 분위기의 조절효과 (The Relationship between Work-Family Facilitation and Perceived Team Performance: Moderating Effect of Wellness Climate)

  • 본 연구에서는 조직 내 신세대의 가치관 등장 및 일-가정에 대한 인식의 변화로 인해 일과 가정은 분리된 것이 아닌 긍정적 상호작용 한다는 일-가정 촉진(work-family facilitation)(Grzywacz & Marks, 2000)과 팀성과 간의 관계를 실증분석 하였다. 또한 일-가정 촉진을 지원하는 조직분위기라 할 수 있는 웰니스 분위기의 일-가정 촉진과 지각된 팀성과 간의 조절효과도 실증분석 하였다. 분석은 위계적회귀분석(Hierarchical Linear Regression)을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 일-가정 촉진은 팀성과와 정(+)의 관계를 가질 가지는 것으로 나타났으며, 웰니스 리더십은 일-가정 촉진과 팀성과 간의 관계를 정(+)의 방향으로 조절 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 일-가정 촉진이 팀성과에 긍정적 영향을 줌으로써 향후 조직 내 직무설계시 직무 그 자체뿐만 아니라 개인의 가정에도 직간접적 긍정적 영향을 줄 수 있도록 설계를 해야 됨을 시사 한다고 할 수 있다. 또한 웰니스 분위기의 조절효과를 입증함으로서 일-가정 촉진을 지원하는 분위기를 조성하고 유지 발전시키는 활동도 수반 되어야 함을 시사 한다고 할 수 있다.
