A Case Study of Using PBL

  • This study examines the effectiveness of the study through a case of PBL(problem-based-learning) class conducted in a balanced culture course called at 00- University in the second semester of 2020. The effects of learning are as follows: First, PBL(problem-based-learning) has sufficient active interaction between the teacher and the learner. In the face of prolonged non-face-to-face learning, the PBL teaching method has sufficient interaction between the professors-learner and the learner. Second, PBL learning can actively utilize various problems that fit the characteristics of the subject and actively utilize the process of role sharing and collaboration. By presenting various problem situations suitable for the subject, students will be able to share roles individually or as a team, and fully experience the process of collaboration and discussion in the process of investigating the data. Third, critical perceptions of problem situations can be extended. In modern times, a variety of problem situations arise and critical perceptions of them must be fully learned. In a mass production and mass consumption society, students should develop the ability to blindly recognize and distinguish between real and fake information in a flood of information. The limitations identified in this class case are, first, the nature of the subject, "Understanding Culture and Philosophy," which makes it possible to discuss the global cultural phenomenon, but it should be discussed in terms of philosophy. Second, it is not easy to work as a team on non-face-to-face online. Nevertheless, PBL is a very effective method of learning in which active interactions and learning activities take place between professors and students, whether face-to-face or face-to-face online learning.

  • Domestic hotel businesses are confronted with new market circumstances. Clear accounting and moral management in company which have been reserved or ignored during the past high economic growth period were emphasized. As global standard such as international standard of accounting system, clear accounting, international standard management, and flexibility of employment are emphasized, which is different management is now accomplishing. During these system changes, organization member's identity was threatened a lot. So organization members were required to adopt new environment. Hotel have influence on organizational accomplishment, thought and behavioral response of organization members according to cultural type and share of organization culture. This study are focused culinary team culture as subculture in hotel. What kind of culture more effective to the culinary group\ulcorner What kind of culture are grouped each hotel, include difference imported brand hotel and domestic brand hotel.

간호사가 지각하는 간호조직문화유형이 직무만족, 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 (Effects of the Organizational Culture on the Job Satisfaction and Organization Commitment)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to examine the impact of Organizational Culture on job satisfaction and organizational commitment in nursing organization. Methods: The sample consisted of 264 nurses of 2 tertiary medical institutions. The instruments used in this study were the nursing organizational culture questionnaire (Han, 2001), job satisfaction scale (Paula, 1978), and Organizational Commitment scale (Mowday et al., 1979). The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, t-test, Pearson Correlation. Coefficient, and multiple regression using the SPSS Win 14.0 program. Results: The dominant organizational culture of nursing organization was rank-oriented culture. The mean score of job satisfaction and organizational commitment was 3.28 and 3.40 respectively. Organizational commitment and Job satisfaction were positively correlated with affiliative-oriented culture, innovative-oriented culture, and task-oriented culture. Affiliative-oriented and task-oriented culture were major variables influencing on job satisfaction and affiliative-oriented culture was a major variable influencing organizational commitment. Conclusion: Organizational culture, especially affiliative-oriented culture had a significant influence on nurses' job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Therefore, we have to develop strategies to enhancing the affiliative-oriented culture to improve the job satisfaction and organizational commitment of nurses.

각종 혐기성 미생물 발효에 의한 유기산 및 수소생산 (Hydrogen and Organic Acids Production by Fermentation Using Various Anaerobic Bacteria)

  • Clostridium butyricum, Lactobacillus amylophillus, Lactobacillus amylovorus, Lactobacillus acidophillus, AI-9 produced hydrogen and /or organic acids using glucose, lactose and starch at the anaerobic culture conditions. Cl. butyricum NCIB 9576 evolved 1,700 ml H2/L-culture broth and accumulated butyric acid, acetic acid, propionic acid and ethanol in its culture broth when lactose was used as a carbon source during 24 hrs of fermentation. L. amylovorus ATCC 33620 accumulated lactic and acetic acids and some reducing sugars when starch was used as a carbon source without hydrogen production. Instead of starch as a carbon source, L. amylovorus ATCC 33620 produced lactic acid from algal biomass during fermentation and the acid-heat or freeze-thaw pretreatment of algal biomass accelerate the lactic acid fermentation.

중국 대학교 태권도 지도자의 변혁적 리더십이 팀응집력과 팀성과의 영향 관계 (The relationship between team cohesion and team performance of the transformative leadership of Taekwondo leaders at Chinese universities)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 중국 대학 태권도 지도자의 변혁적리더십와 팀응집력 및 팀성과의 관계를 규명하는데 있다. 구체적으로는 변혁적리더십이 팀응집력 및 팀성과에 미치는 영향과 팀응집력이 팀성과에 미치는 영향을 규명하며, 나아가 변혁적리더십과 팀성과의 관계에서 팀응집력의 매개효과를 검증하는데 있다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 중국 대학의 태권도 지도자를 모집단으로 설정한 다음 총 350명을 표집하였다. 이 연구에서 사용한 측정도구는 설문지로서 인구통계학적 특성에 관한 항목 5개 문항, 변혁적리더십에 대한 총 19개 문항, 팀응집력에 대한 10개 문항, 팀성과 4개 문항으로 구성하였다. 설문지의 타당도는 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 검증되었으며, 신뢰도는 신뢰도 분석을 통하여 검증하였다. 설문지의 신뢰도 Cronbach's α는 변혁적 리더십의 경우 α=0.755-0.799, 팀응집력의 경우 α=0.848, 팀성과의 경우 α=0.740으로 나타났다. 자료처리 방법은 SPSS WIN을 활용하여 탐색적 요인분석 및 신뢰도 분석, 일원분산분석(One-Way ANOVA), 다중회귀분석이 사용되었다. 이상과 같은 연구방법 및 절차를 통해 도출한 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중국 대학 태권도 지도자의 변혁적리더십은 팀응집력에 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 중국 대학 태권도 지도자의 변혁적리더십은 팀성과에 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 중국 대학 태권도 지도자의 팀응집력은 팀성과에 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 중국 대학 태권도 지도자의 변혁적리더십은 팀성과에 직접적인 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라, 팀응집력을 통하여 간접적인 영향을 미친다. 따라서 지도자의 변력적리더십을 통해 중국 태권도 선수들이 최고 경기를 위한 팀응집력과 팀성과에 영향을 줌으로써 경기력 향상에 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.

두 종 미세 녹조류의 연속배양을 통한 바이오매스 생산성 비교 (Comparison of Biomass Productivity of Two Green Microalgae through Continuous Cultivation)

  • In the present study, the biomass productivity of two green microalgae (Chlorella sp. and Dunaliella salina DCCBC2) were assessed in a 12 L tubular photobioreactor under optimum culture conditions. In the batch culture optimization process, the Chlorella sp. biomass was obtained as 1.2 g/L under atmospheric air as a sole $CO_2$ source and other culture conditions as follows: light intensity, temperature, pH, $NH_4Cl$ and $K_2HPO_4$ were 100 ${\mu}E/m^2/s$, $27^{\circ}C$, 7.0, 20.0 mM and 2.0 mM, respectively. On the other hand, 2.9 g/L of D. salina DCCBC2 biomass production was observed under the following conditions: light intensity, temperature, pH, $KNO_3$ and $K_2HPO_4$were 80 ${\mu}E/m^2/s$, $27^{\circ}C$, 8.0, 3.0 mM and 0.025 mM, respectively. At 1% $CO_2$ supply to the reactor, the Chlorella sp. production was reached 1.53 g/L with 25% increment under the same operating conditions. In addition, the maximum D. salina DCCBC2 biomass was observed as 3.40 g/L at 3% $CO_2$ concentration. Based on the aforementioned optimized conditions, the dilution rate and maximal biomass productivity of Chlorella sp. and D. salina DCCBC2 in the continuous cultivation were 0.4/d and 0.6 g/L/d and 0.6/d and 1.5 g/L/d, respectively.

현장규모 대형 배양장치에서 식물플랑크톤의 월동 및 천이 (Overwintering and Succession of the Phytoplankton in Pilot Culture System)

  • 본 연구는 2016년 2월 23일부터 6월 28일까지 현장규모대형 배양장치(Pilot Culture System)에서 환경요인의 영향에 따른 저층 침전현상 및 겨울철 월동 이후 조류 군집 천이 특성에 대해 연구하였다. 겨울(2월)에 실험군에서 남조류, 녹조류 및 규조류 총 17종의 월동(overwintering)이 관찰되었으며, 월동한 식물플랑크톤은 재부유 이후 뚜렷한 천이양상을 보였다. 식물플랑크톤 천이 과정에는 총 28속 56종 출현하였다. 실험군에서는 총 24속 52종이 출현하였으며 분류군별로는 녹조류가 35종(67.3%)으로 가장 높았고 규조류 9종(17.3%), 남조류 5종(9.6%), 기타조류 3종(5.8%) 순으로 나타났다. 대조군에서는 총 14속 25종이 출현하였고 녹조류가 17종(68.0%)으로 가장 높은 비율을 차지하였으며, 그 외 남조류와 기타조류는 각 3종(12.0%), 규조류 2종(8.0%)으로 나타났다. 식물플랑크톤 현존량은 실험군에서 $40{\sim}325,450cells\;mL^{-1}$, 대조군에서 $900{\sim}37,100cells\;mL^{-1}$로 실험군보다 대조군에서 매우 낮은 현존량 차이를 보였다. 우점종은 실험군에서는 Monoraphidium minutum, Microcystis aeruginosa, Rhodomonas lacustris, Ankyra judai, Chlorella vulgaris가, 대조군에서는 M. minutum, Coenochloris cf. pyrenoidosa가 천이과정에서 주요 우점종으로 확인되었다. 실험군에서의 식물플랑크톤 천이양상은 뚜렷하게 확인되었으며, 이화학적(수온, 영양염) 및 생물학적 요인 간의 명확한 영향을 받는 것으로 확인되었다. 반면 대조군에서는 이화학적 요인인 영양염의 영향을 크게 받는 것으로 확인되었다. 결론적으로 이번 연구는 외부유입 요인들이 배제된 상태에서 수체 내 주요 분류군의 월동 및 천이가 내부 환경요인의 상호작용만으로 발생할 수 있음을 잘 보여주었으며 향후 식물플랑크톤 천이양상을 이해하는 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

Invertase Production by Fed-batch Fermentations of Recombinant Saccharomyces cerevisiae

  • Fed-batch fermentations with different feeding media were carried out in order to increase the productivity of invertase expression using a recombinant Saccharomyces cerevisiae containing plasmid pRB58. Two batch cultures showed the expression of the SUC2 gene at a low concentration of glucose, suggesting that glucose concentration could be used as a control variable in a fed-batch operation mode. In the fed-batch culture by feeding the basal medium, cell mass and specific invertase activity did not increase much as compared with the simple batch culture. A series of fed-batch cultures revealed that the sucrose-supplemented medium increased cell mass whereas the enriched medium did specific invertase activity. To capitalize on the synergism of the sucrose-supplemented medium and the enriched medium, the sucrose-supplemented enriched medium was used as a feeding medium. The fed-batch culture using this medium resulted in a 2.4-fold increase in cell mass and a 1.9-fold enhancement in specific invertase activity compared with those of the batch culture. The increase in cell mass and specific invertase activity led to a marked increase in total invertase activity, 250U/ml, which was 6.3 times higher than that of the batch culture.

  • Mental health is attributed to person's well-being, abilities and productivity. The purpose of this study is to suggest the effects of K-culture to people in adversity. It is PungmulPanGut, represented by traditional Korean play culture. Pungmul is a performance with four percussion instruments, Janggu (Korean hourglass drum), Buk (barrel shaped drum), Jing (large gong), Kkwaenggwari (small gong), and play. In Korean, "pan" means that it's a place to do something. Gut means to make a wish. The ensemble Better Than Medicine (eBTM) is a team that has trained and worked with Gamuak (歌,舞,樂; singing, dancing, playing) for a long time, but is not perfect (we refer this as 2% lacking in music). The characteristic of our team is that we share joy while voluntarily participating and doing what we like. It is a combination of singing, dancing, playing musical instruments, and exciting people. There is wind-like energy and there is mutual cooperation, not competition. As we concentrate, we become immersed in each other's breathing and movement. So it makes us forget the hard situation, the hardships, the pain, and so on. In the meantime, our pleasures peak and share happy energy with each other. Even though we are two percent less skilled, our sense of happiness doubles. Music together is not competition but cooperative work and healing. Therefore, we suggest that PungmulPanGut can be better K-culture than medicine in promoting mental health.

영화 "YMCA 야구단"에 나타난 여 주인공의 의상 디자인 연구 - 개화기 시대의 의상 비교를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Heroine's Costumes in the Movie Titled ${\ulcorner}$YMCA Baseball Team${\lrcorner}$ - By Focusing on the Costumes When the Country Opened Itself to the Outside World -)

  • As movies and dramas which show traditional clothes and fusion clothes are getting popular these days, lot of people are paying attention to these dress and ornaments. And as for the domestic collections which seem to reflect this trend, various fusion style clothes are getting widely adopted by people. Therefore, this study analyzed and considered the clothes designs when the country started to open itself to other countries, by selecting a movie titled "YMCA baseball team", a movie to ascertain vigorous historical verification, and by conducting the prior study and using the DVD capture program. This study is meaningful in that based on the comparison study on the costumes, it clarifies the degree of costumes(clothes) acceptance at the point of nation's opening to other countries, which is the source of fusion style, and further shed light on the role that the movie costumes will play. From this study, we can get the following conclusions. First, through the theoretical background it can be known that when the country opened itself to outside world the dress and ornaments of the time was adopted in a top-down way, namely, first adopted by the royal family and the upper class, which could have easy access to the western civilization and institutions, and then the low class later. Second, in the movie titled 'YMCA baseball team' the costumes were designed through the strict and thorough historic verification, and it can be confirmed that various dress and ornaments adopted at the time of nation's opening to the outside world centered around the clothes design for new women. Third, 'YMCA baseball team is evaluated as a movie that reproduces that time well and as a media that provides an effective clue to the dress and ornaments adopted by the public when the country opened itself to the outside world.
