다문화 멘토의 역량에 관한 연구 (A Study on Multicultural Mentor's Capacity)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 다문화멘토들이 갖추어야 할 역량을 탐색하고 이를 통해 멘토 역량 중진을 위한 교육방안을 제시하는 것이다. 연구기간은 2016년 6월부터 2016년 9월까지이며 다문화멘토링에 1년 이상 참여한 멘토 10명에게 자신이 다문화멘토링에 참여한 결과 다문화멘토들이 갖추어야 할 역량에 대하여 심층인터뷰한 후 전사하여 교육적, 심리적, 사회적, 문화적 역량으로 분석하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 멘토가 갖추어야 할 학습적 역량은 멘티를 가르칠 수 있는 지적능력과 교수스킬이다. 둘째, 심리적 역량은 멘티의 말을 경청하려는 자세와 이를 상담할 수 있는 스킬이다. 셋째 사회적 역량은 대화 능력과 의사소통 기술, 그리고 책임감이다. 넷째, 문화적 역량은 다양성을 인정해주고 멘티의 상황에 대처할 수 있는 능력이다. 이를 바탕으로 멘토의 역량을 높일 수 있는 교육방안은 첫째, 멘토링 투입 전에 멘토의 교육이 필요하다. 둘째, 멘토링을 통한 멘토들의 자기성찰이 이루어질 수 있는 자리를 제공한다. 셋째, 멘토들에게 주기적인 상담이 필요하다. 본 연구는 멘토의 역량에 중요성을 인식하고 멘토링의 효과성을 높일 수 있는 기초자료가 되길 기대한다.

T. S. Eliot의 "The Waste Land"에 나타난 주제와 형식 (Theme and Form in T. S. Elopt's "The Waste Land")

  • "The Waste Land" is Eliot's best known poem. It was first published in 1922 and became a famous poem in modem poetry by the 1940's. The poem is a statement of his personal experience with spiritual crisis, this simple outline is complicated and universalized by being set within the structure of 'the Fisher King legend'. The fisher King legend was studied by Miss Weston in From Ritual to Romance and Sir James Frazer in The Goldon Bough which traced the vegetation myths. It explained the cycle of the seasons in relation to the death and rebirth of a god. The god died in the winter with the death of the vegetation and was reborn in the spring with the rebirth of the vegetation. Sir James Frazer reaced these ancient rituals within the Christian world. He indicated that the death and rebirth of Christ falls within the pattern of this ancient ritual. Also Miss Weston transformed that ancient ritual into Christian terms, and connected it with the Quest for the Holy Grail. Eliot used not only the title, but the plan and a good of the important symbolism of the poem from these two books. "The Waste Land" is a difficult one because of the numerous interruptions in the narrative. On the superficial level, the story covers a 12-hour period in a day. It is also in "the stream of consciousness." It might be called the internal monologue; that is, "the free association of ideas in the mind of the narrator," Eliot experiments with both the idea of time and with the stream of consciousness, He employs a number of quotations and allusion from the Classic literature. So, his technique in "The Waste Land" consists of the juxtaposition of the present with mythcism and religious symbolism derived from the past. The structure of the poem is built out of the contrasts in time. The poem illustrates his conception of the past as an active part of the present. "The Waste Land" has "a symphonic structure" composed of five parts, which are linked by the repeated themes. The theme is the death and salvation of the Waste Land. It is drawn from the Fisher King myths. Moreover, he has absorbed into the structure of this poem the language, phrases, and associations of other writers. It gave the poem the universality both of theme and of pattern. Also, his intricate and fine techniques added the universality to the poet's personal material. At last, the verse pattern of the poem follow the same basic structure as the thematic patterns. Again in symphonic style, the verse varies from section to section. The interruption of real time is associated with the flow of consciousness. Though the poem is a complex structure, there are the interweavings of a great deal of ideas into a simple, brief statement. By these poetic techniques the poem manages to have good harmony and unity between the thematic pattern and narrative structure. "The Waste Land" therefore, became the greatest poem in the 20th century modern world.

교회학교 유치부 교사교육프로그램에 대한 교사들의 인식 및 요구 (Church School Kindergarten Teacher Education Programs for Teachers' Perceptions and Needs Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 교회학교 유치부 교사교육 프로그램에 대한 교사들의 인식과 요구를 분석하는 조사연구이다. 연구대상은 수도권 지역의 유치부 교사 278명이다. 연구방법은 설문지를 이용한 조사방법으로 유치부 교사교육 프로그램에 대한 교사의 인식과 필요성 및 교육내용의 3개 영역으로 구성된 설문지를 유치부 교사들에게 배부한 후 회수하였다. 회수 된 설문지는 문항별 빈도와 백분율을 구했으며 배경변인에 따른 차이가 있는지 X2 검증을 실시하였으며, 프로그램 내용에 관한 문항은 평균과 표준편차를 실시하였다. 분석결과 교사들은 유치부 교사교육 프로그램에 대해 관심과 필요성을 높게 인식하고 있었으며 교사의 배경변인중 학력, 교육경력, 전공여부에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 유치부 교사교육 프로그램 내용에 대한 요구로는 부모교육과 유아발달이해, 문제행동 영유아지도법, 영유아와 할 수 있는 효과적인 의사소통법, 영유아 기질 이해 및 기질에 따른 교육방법, 교사를 위한 영성훈련 순으로 나타났다.

치위생 학사학위 전공심화과정 인식 및 취득의향 (A study on the recognition and requirement of dental hygienists for enforcing specialty)

  • Objectives : This study was to seek the ways for strengthening the higher curricula for the bachelor's degree of the dental hygiene. For this two things are investigated with some students of the dental hygiene departments of colleges and workers on the part; one is what the recognition about the curricula is, and the other what are the demanding degrees through the curricula. Methods : The study has been performed with 298 people who work for dental hygiene of dental clinics and students of the departments in B region by using structured and self-administered questionnaire from March to May, 2008, and were analyzed by using SPSS 14.0 program. Results : The rate to recognize the higher curricula for the bachelor degree is 88.9%. And 70.4% among them says the curricula is 'absolutely necessary' or 'necessary'. The ways to recognize the curricula are through 'professor or friends'(53.4%), through 'newspapers of broad-casting reports'(20.5%), and through 'internet'(14.4%). They want various teaching ways including the project-centered education(40.4%), lecture-like education(25.0%), field-experience within the workplace(14.4%), lectures in the workplace(10.6%), and discussion(9.6%). Those who works in the dental clinics want night classes(49.5%, 96 respondents), internet classes(16.5%, 32 respondents), and weekend classes(14.4%, 28 respondents). They like to learn majors more deeply(30.9%), important techniques and theories about their job(26.8%), and the new skills on their work(19.8%). Conclusions : persons who are workers for dental hygiene of dental clinics and students of the departments have a requirement of dental hygienists for enforcing specialty. Therefor improve to develop education program and system about development of advance course for hygienists.

예비교사의 블록 기반 프로그래밍 교육을 위한 협업전략 탐구 (Exploring of Collaborative Strategy for Pre-service Teacher's Block-based Programming Education)

  • 예비교사들이 프로그래밍 수업에서 겪는 다양한 어려움을 해결하기 위해서 팀 기반의 프로그래밍 방법이 많이 적용되고 있다. 그들에게 필요한 효율적인 협업 전략을 마련하기 위해서는 학습자의 프로그래밍 역량에 미치는 다양한 협업요인들을 분석해야 할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 학습자들의 협업 요인들을 크게 개인 역량과 팀 역량으로 구분하여 설문조사를 실시하고 학습자들의 프로그래밍 역량과의 관계를 분석하였다. 검증결과 프로그램 설계역량에는 학습자 개인역량 모든 요소와 자료공유 기술과 같은 협업에 필요한 기술인 팀 테크닉 및 팀 협력도 등에서 유의미한 결과를 보였다. 그리고 프로그램 구현역량에는 개인의 학습이해도, 팀 협력도가 영향을 주는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 팀 테크닉이 상대적으로 높은 그룹이 프로그래밍 역량과 흥미도 및 만족도에 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 예비교사들에게 실질적으로 필요한 협업 전략을 프로그래밍 과정에 따라 개인역량 및 팀 역량과 관련된 유의미한 요소들을 연계하여 제시하였다.

실습과정 구성요소의 의미작용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Meaning Operation of the Factors Constitute the Course of Practice)

  • 실습은 이를 계획하고 실행하는 교육자와 실습의 대상인 학생간에 이루어지는 커뮤니케이션 과정이다. 실습과정에서의 커뮤니케이션 내용은 학생들에게 달성시키고자 하는 전공지식과 기술로서 교육자와 학생의 관계에서 전달과 수간의 절차가 관여한다. 이와 같이 실습과정의 커뮤니케이션이 교육자와 학생 그리고 실습의 내용을 통해서 이루어진다는 점에서 이들은 실습과정을 구성하는 의미의 대상이며 상호작용의 관계성을 형성하고 있다. 따라서 효과적인 실습과정을 계획하기 위해서는 실습과정을 구성하는 이들 의미대상의 관계에서 이루어지는 의미작용의 현상을 이해해야 하는 것이다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제인식을 가지고 실습의 과정에서 이들 의미대상이 형성하는 의미작용에 대한 현상적 분석에 접근하고자 하였다. 이러한 분석을 통해서 연구자는 실습과정에서 이들 의미대상이 가지고 있는 속성을 파악하고, 이들의 관계에서 발생하는 의미작용의 요인들을 해석함으로써 실습과정을 계획하는데 있어서 고려해야할 인식의 범주를 제시하였다.

학업흥미도 향상을 위한 패션전공교육 프로그램 (The education program majored in fashion for improving interest in schoolwork)

  • This study was conducted by the questionnaires to 323 undergraduate students in fashion related departments. Questionnaires were designed to ask total 23 questions including possibility of halfway dropouts, establishment of goals, self-improvement, entrance motives, satisfaction ratings of academic subjects, job prospects and path planning, amelioration of ways to instruct, desires for the integrated lessons and intense academic courses, wishes of field project education carrying out tasks, desired lecturers, and others. Results in this research were summarized as follows. To begin with, it was appeared that respondents with possibility of halfway dropouts showed considerable percentage (25.4%) and the reasons left out were various including joining the army, the poor economic conditions in family, a major not corresponding with one's aptitude. Secondly, in the extent of establishing goals and improving oneself, there was the difference between people with possibility of halfway dropouts and people without that, and it was judged that the extent of establishing goals and improving oneself as good parameters could explain halfway omission. Thirdly, the ways to teach for getting classes interesting were to make instruction according to one's capabilities, to progress systematically, and to take lessons with specific goals. Fourth, many respondents answered to want the integrated lessons, intense academic courses, and field project education carrying out tasks. Fifth, an overwhelming majority of respondents hoped instructors with a outstanding ability in business. For improvement of the ways to instruct and the role of professors, it is suggested as follows. First, students are given intelligible lessons focused on fundamental subjects fitted to their levels and also need gradual intense academic courses classified by their way directions and interests. Second, creative and individualized teaching methods depending on the majors and levels are developed to help students have strong interest in schoolwork. Third, professors are constantly to learn practical techniques and skills related to industries in step with the education goals of college. Fourth, it is desirable to adopt instructors with practical business talents rather than theoretical capabilities.

CPUSim: CPU 스케줄링 알고리즘 교육을 지원하는 시뮬레이터 (CPUSim: A Simulator supporting the education of CPU Scheduling Algorithms)

  • 운영체제는 추상적 개념과 기법들을 다루는 교과목이지만, 대부분 교재 위주의 이론 수업으로 진행되어 왔다. 이론 수업은 강의 내용에 대한 이해와 집중력 저하를 유발하므로 내용의 이해를 돕고 흥미를 유발하는 교육용 도구의 활용이 시도되었다. 본 논문에서는 CPU 스케줄링 알고리즘들의 동작을 시각적으로 보여주는 교육용 시뮬레이터를 설계하고 구현하였다. 구현된 시뮬레이터를 수업에 활용한 후 2010학년도와 2011학년도 수강생들의 학업 성취도를 측정하고 t-검증을 통해 두 집단의 CPU 스케줄링 알고리즘에 대한 시험문제 정답률 차이가 유의함을 밝혔다. 또한 시뮬레이터 활용에 대한 만족도와 관련분야 지식 습득에 대한 기여도 설문조사를 통해 시뮬레이터가 교과목에 대한 흥미를 유발하고 학습 내용에 대한 이해도를 증진시키는 교육용 도구로 유용하며, 이러한 수업 방식이 문제 해결능력 배양에 효과적임을 확인할 수 있었다.

간호사가 인식하는 간호본질에 대한 탐색적 연구 - 환자중심 병원서비스 전략구축을 위한 기초단계 (An Study on the Nature of Nursing as Perceived by Clinical Nurses)

  • Reacently one the main issues has been to develop useful strategies to improve hospital services for patients in the health care delivery system in our rapidly changing society. This study has focused on exploring the perceptions that the clinical nurses have concerning who they are and what they are going to become in the days ahead as medical care reaches a new stage of advancement centered around the patient and hospital services. This study in also based upon the premise that the role of the clinical nurse practitioner. is central to the progress of any patient centered nursing program. This study was carried out by the members of the academic committee of Seoul Branch of Korean Nurses Association from January 1995 to February 1995. The interview method was a semi-structured questionnaire used to collect data from 25 staff nurses who were working more than 3 years at 3 different university hospitals in Seoul. The 6 interviews were selected from each hospital and they were trained for the interviewing techniques. The data were analysed qualitatively and 10 elements of the nurse's responsibilities classified such as caring for the patients (which includes specific medical care as well as general); assessing; diagnosing; coordinating with other health personnel; careful listening; teaching and the patient guiding; administering the prescriptions; giving information and counseling the patient; ward management. Although the premise of this study was based on a wholistic concept, the overall behavioral aspects of hospital clinical nursing were the major thrust of the questionnaire. Broad philosophical questions regarding the nature of nursing need to be further explored. The data gathered for this questionnaire should be useful as a reenforcement tool in educating nursing students as well as in continuing education for clinical nurses. For the future, another study should be done to determine the nursing/patient relationship.

What Do Web Users Know about Skin Self-Examination and Melanoma Symptoms?

  • Background: Skin self-examination (SSE) may facilitate early diagnosis of melanoma at a potentially curable stage. Little data are available concerning the SSE frequency and knowledge about the symptoms of melanoma in non-patient populations. The aim of our study was to assess the performance of skin self-examination, recognition of potential melanoma symptoms as well as behavior related to sun exposure among web users in Poland. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among readers of a scientific portal. Invited respondents were asked to complete an online questionnaire. Finally, statistical analysis was conducted on 4,919 surveys towards potential clinical signs of melanoma and SSE performance. Results: Approximately 60% of respondents had ever performed SSE in their life. Only 18.4 % declared performance on a regular, monthly, basis. Factors promoting this activity were established to be bigger place of residence, higher education and sensitive skin phototype, higher level of knowledge concerning melanoma, safe tanning rules and, especially, past surgical excision of naevi. Declared longer use of tanning beds was linked to understanding better the importance of clinical features of melanoma. Awareness of hazardous behavior during sunbathing is associated with the attempts to change them. Conclusions: Regular SSE is not a common practice, whilst the knowledge about the clinical features of melanoma is varied. Therefore, constant pressure should be put on promotion of regular skin self-examination and teaching its proper techniques, including familiarity with the ABCD (asymmetry; border; color; diameter) rule and its extension of "EFG" (elevated, firm, progressive growth) criteria.
