브레인댄스 집단프로그램이 예비보육교사의 자기수용, 자기조절력에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of a Brain Dance Group Program for Pre Early Childhood Care Teachers' Self Acceptance and Self Control)

  • 본 연구는 브레인댄스 집단프로그램이 예비보육교사의 자기수용과 자기조절력에 미치는 효과 검증을 통해 보육교사의 인간적 자질 함양을 위한 방안을 모색하기 위한 실험연구이다. 연구대상은 G시에 소재한 N대학의 보육교사 자격 이수과정 학생 중 참여를 원하는 20명을 실험집단과 통제집단에 각 10명씩 무선 배정 하였다. 브레인댄스 집단프로그램 실시 전 후 조사를 통해 수집된 자료는 SPSS 14.0 for Windows를 이용하여 대응표본 t-test를 실시한 결과, 브레인댄스 집단프로그램의 자기수용과 자기조절력에 대한 긍정적인 효과가 규명되어 브레인댄스가 예비보육교사의 자기수용과 자기조절력을 향상 시킬 수 있는 유용한 매체임을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구는 브레인댄스를 활용한 다양한 교육적 프로그램을 개발하고자 하는 브레인댄스 전문가와 교육 분야 전문가를 양성하는 대학교육기관의 교사인성교육 방안 모색을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다.

가설 생성 학습 후에 나타난 초등 예비교사의 뇌파 변화 (EEG Changes after Learning for Hypothesis-Generation in Elementary Pre-service Teachers)

  • Changes in the brain activities following pre-service elementary teachers' learning hypothesis-generation were investigated using the analysis of EEG relative power and EEG coherence. In this study, the experimental group (n=16) were trained using learning methods for hypothesis-generation and the control group(n=16) were trained using learning methods for hypothesis-reception over the course of 8 weeks. EEG was measured before and following the learning process for both groups. Decreased theta ($4{\sim}7.9Hz$)/alpha 1 ($8{\sim}9.9Hz$) power and increased alpha 2 ($10{\sim}l2.9Hz$)/beta ($13{\sim}29.9Hz$)/gamma ($30{\sim}50Hz$) power were showed in the experimental group. Additionally, many changes in brian activities were observed for theta, beta and gamma coherence in the experimental group. In particular, fronto-parietal coherence increased in the experimental group. These differences in brain activities between the two groups suggest that the learning for subjects' hypothesis generation presumably leads to interesting changes in some types of brain activities in pre-service elementary teachers.

통합과학 프로그램 개발과정이 예비교사의 학습동기 및 집단지성에 미치는 영향: 가치관과 소프트웨어 접목을 중심으로 (The Impact of the Development Process of an Integrated Science Program on Pre-service Teachers Learning Motivation and Group Intelligence: A Focus on Values and Integration with Software)

  • 이 연구는 사회적 요구에 의해 강조되고 있는 집단지성, 가치관, 소프트웨어를 적용하여 예비교사들이 통합과학교육 프로그램을 개발하는 과정에서 예비교사에게 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 이러한 결과로 첫째, 집단지성을 활용한 통합과학교육 프로그램 개발은 예비교사의 학습동기를 향상시켰다. 특히 수행과정에서 학습동기가 향상되는 것이 나타났다. 둘째, 집단지성 기반 통합과학교육 프로그램 개발은 예비교사들의 집단지성 역량을 함양하였다. 프로그램을 개발, 시연, 피드백하는 전 과정에서 집단의 긍정적 영향이 발현되었다. 셋째, 과학 교과에 소프트웨어와 개인의 가치관은 접목할 필요가 있으나 이를 위해 전문적 지원이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

초.중.고 학생과 예비 교사 및 초등 교사가 생각하는 과학자에 대한 이미지 분석 (An Analysis of Students', Preservice Teachers' and Inservice Teachers' Images of Scientists)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze students', preservice teachers and inservice teachers' images of scientists. For the purpose of this study, we selected 711 people. The results generally was showed the students, preservice teachers and inservice teachers have the stereotyped image of scientists. When we group the subject of investigation as elementary-school students, middle-school students, high-school students, preservice teachers, inservice elementary-school teachers, and looked into whether there were meaningful differences among them by the method of ANOVA, we could see the meaningful differences (p<0.05). And also elementary-school students showed the meaningful difference from other groups when examined on the $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test.

초등학교 보건교사의 자기 역할 인식 (Self Role Perception of Health Teachers in Elementary Schools)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe and understand elementary school health teachers' role perception in their own perspectives. Methods: Data were collected from three focus groups composed of five participants for each group. Each focus group had an interview for two and a half hours on the average. The main question was "What is your perception on the roles of health teachers in elementary schools?" Qualitative data from transcribed notes and field notes were analyzed using qualitative content analysis. Results: Five main roles were identified from the participants. The participants perceived themselves as 'an expert of health education in school and community', 'a health service provider for school members', 'a health guardian for school members, the coordinator of healthcare related works in school, and the leader of school health. Conclusion: The participants have multiple role identities, which are very important for health management of school members. And the roles such as an expert of health education and a leader for school health are recently emphasized. The findings of this study can provide useful information to design orientation programs for newly appointed health teachers and continuing education programs for enhancing role performance of health teachers in elementary schools.

예비유아교사의 반성적 사고력 향상에 대한 저널쓰기의 효과 (The Effect of Journal Writing on the Reflective Thinking of Pre-service Teachers for Young Children)

  • The aim of this study is to search for the effect of journal writing on the reflective thinking of pre-service teachers for young children. The question for this study is as follows: Would the journal writing experiences improve reflective thinking experiences of pre-service teachers for young children? The subjects were 50 sophomores in junior college, J city, and they were divided into a experiment group, and a comparison group. The experiment group had journal writing experiences for 8 weeks. The data was analyzed using T-test. The results are as follows: Journal writing activity revealed positive effect on reflective thinking level improvement of pre-service early childhood teacher.

초등과학 수업에서 경력교사와 초보교사의 제스처 특징 비교 - 우리 몸의 구조와 기능 단원을 중심으로 - (Comparison of Gesture Characteristics of Career Teachers and Novice Teachers in Elementary Science Class - Focused on the 5th Grade Unit of the Function and Structure of Our Body -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics and differences of gesture between career teachers and novice teachers in elementary science class. In order to analyze the gesture of elementary science teachers, gesture analysis framework was developed. The teachers who participated in the experiment were 2 beginner teachers and 2 career teachers. We analyzed 'bones and muscles', 'digestion', 'breathing', and 'excretion' of 'body' section in the second semester of 5th grade. The video recording of the class scene with the camcorder was recorded and analyzed by Observer XT. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the career teacher lessens unnecessary gestures than the novice teacher. During the class, the career teachers lessened the gestures not related to the context of the class. These differences were more prominent in the activities of the group with many unexpected situations than those of the teachers who prepared the class contents. Second, career teachers have more communication control act than novice teachers. Career teachers have often made adjustments to induce learner presentations or control unnecessary utterances. Third, career teachers efficiently interacted with learners using gestures that can enhance communication.

아동, 예비교사, 중견교사의 과학지식, 과학적 탐구능력, 인지 수준의 비교 (A Comparison of Preservice and Inservice Elementary Teachers' and Children's Scientific Knowledge, Scientific Inquiry Skills and Cognitive Abilities)

  • This is very important to know teachers' and children's scientific knowledge, scientific inquiry skills and cognitive abilities for better education of children. The subjects of this study are about 60-150 in each group. There are instruments used ; To test scientific knowledge a test is developed by the author. To test scientific inquiry skills, the test developed by Eun Kyung Yong is used. To test cognitive abilities, GALT, short version is used. There are results; Firstly, inservice teachers' scientific knowledge is better than preservice teachers', which is better than children'. Secondly, inservice teachers' scientific inquiry skills nearly equal preservice teachers', which are better than children'. Thirdly, preservice teachers' cognitive abilities nearly equal inservice teachers', which are better than children'. Fourthly, teachers' (special area-science) cognitive abilities are better than teachers' (special area-vidual art, music, physical education). Elementary teachers in Korea have fundamental abilities to teach elementary children.

X, M, Z 보육교사의 세대 및 직무 인식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Generational and Job Perception of X, M, Z Generation Childcare Center Teacher)

  • Objective: This study examines the generational characteristics and job perceptions of early childhood teachers from Generations X, M, and Z. Methods: Seventeen teachers were selected based on their career and the types of childcare centers they worked in. Focus group interviews explored their job perceptions, teaching methods, career intentions, and strategies to attract future teachers. Results: The results revealed both positive and negative generational perceptions, with Generation X and M noted for diverse job experiences and Generation Z for digital skills. Individual differences were also observed. All generations reported low job satisfaction due to societal perceptions and environmental changes. Many teachers plan to change jobs. The study suggests utilizing generational strengths for peer support to enhance professional development. Conclusion/Implications: Furthermore, improvements in societal perception and treatment of childcare jobs are needed to attract future teachers. The findings suggest implications for enhanced intergenerational communication and collaboration in the childcare field.

한국영재교육에서 소집단 탐구활동에 대한 인식 분석 (Analyzing Perceptions of Small Group Inquiry Activity in the Gifted Education of Korea)

  • 이 연구는 우리나라 영재교육에서의 소그룹 탐구활동에서의 실태 및 인식을 정량적으로 조사한 것이다. 임의 표본으로 전국의 16개 도시의 영재담당 교사 614명, 수학에서는 1,670명, 과학에서는 1,732의 영재학생이 이 연구에 참여하였다. 자료 수집을 위하여 본 연구의 연구자들은 기존의 관련 문헌을 바탕으로 협동학습 형태의 소그룹활동 및 탐구활동에 대한 설문지를 개발하여 실태 및 인식을 조사하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 (1) 현 한국의 영재교육에서의 소그룹 탐구활동은 교실 내에서 효과적인 학습 및 교수법으로 빈번하게 사용되고 있었다. 또한 한국영재교육에서의 소그룹 탐구활동에 대해 교사 및 영재학생들은 인지적 및 정의적 측면에서 긍정적으로 인식하고 있음에도 불구하고, (2) 실질적으로 학생간의 상호작용을 활발하게 도모하기 위한 교수법이나 효과적인 조구성을 위한 교수법은 사용하지 않았다. 이는 영재교육에서 이루어지고 있는 소그룹 탐구활동은 단순한 전통적인 그룹 활동에 불과하다는 것을 지적하며, (3) 이는 영재담당 교사들의 소집단 탐구활동, 특히 협동학습 관련 이해 및 지식이 충분하지 않아 효과적으로 적용할 수 있는 교수법의 부족에서 오는 것이라 할 수 있겠다. 한국영재교육에서의 효과적인 소그룹 탐구활동의 적용을 위해서는 영재담당 교사연수를 통해 소그룹 탐구활동에 대한 이해도 및 지식을 반성하고 개발하며 또한, 학생들의 상호작용을 극대화할 수 있는 관련된 교수법 및 교수 모델을 창안할 수 있는 기회가 제공되어야 할 것이다.
