Homeroom teachers are not usually nutrition professionals, but they spend a lot of time with students in elementary school classrooms. This study was conducted to determine the association of homeroom teachers' nutrition education with the dietary habits of their classroom children. The subjects were 131 homeroom teachers and their 1,102 children from 17 elementary schools in Gyeonggi, Korea. Self-administered questionnaires to collect information on dietary habits were conducted in December 2016. The dietary habits were determined with the adherences to the Dietary Guidelines for Adults and Children, respectively, by coding the better diet life with a higher score. The significances between groups according to teachers' implementation of nutrition education (106 implemented, 25 not implemented) were analyzed by using SPSS at P<0.05. Implementing nutrition education was not associated with the dietary habits of teachers themselves, but their students. Therefore, the students of teachers who implemented nutrition education had significantly higher adherence to 8 items out of 19 items (P<0.05, P<0.01). More of the students considered themselves as non-picky eaters (P<0.05), tried to eat all the foods served at school lunch even when it contained unwanted ingredients (P<0.01), and agreed on the need of nutrition education (P<0.01), as compared to their counterparts. Conclusively, this study suggests that nutrition education delivered by homeroom teachers may be associated with more desirable dietary habits of students, even though homeroom teachers are not nutrition professionals. Therefore, efforts should be undertaken to develop and provide proper contents for homeroom teachers to use in nutrition education for elementary students.

Artificial Intelligence has stimulated every aspect of today's life. Human thinking quality is trying to be involved through digital tools in all research areas of the modern era. The education industry is also leveraging artificial intelligence magical power. Uses of digital technologies in pedagogical paradigms are being observed from the last century. The widespread involvement of artificial intelligence starts reshaping the educational landscape. Adaptive learning is an emerging pedagogical technique that uses computer-based algorithms, tools, and technologies for the learning process. These intelligent practices help at each learning curve stage, from content development to student's exam evaluation. The quality of information technology students and professionals training has also improved drastically with the involvement of artificial intelligence systems. In this paper, we will investigate adopted digital methods in the education sector so far. We will focus on intelligent techniques adopted for information technology students and professionals. Our literature review works on our proposed framework that entails four categories. These categories are communication between teacher and student, improved content design for computing course, evaluation of student's performance and intelligent agent. Our research will present the role of artificial intelligence in reshaping the educational process.

본 연구는 보육교사의 자기분화, 자기효능감이 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 K시와 J지역에 재직하고 있는 39개 보육기관 교사 293명이다. 연구도구는 자기분화척도와 자기효능감척도, 심리적 안녕감 척도를 사용하였다. 자료는 t검증, 일원변량분석, 상관관계, 회귀분석으로 처리하였다. 연구결과, 보육교사의 일반적 배경인 연령에서 자기분화와 자기효능감, 심리적 안녕감에 차이가 나타났다. 자기분화와 자기효능감 그리고 심리적 안녕감은 상관관계가 있었으며, 심리적 안녕감에 자기분화와 자기효능감이 영향을 주는 변인임이 밝혀졌다. 즉, 심리적인 갈등과 불안을 경험하고 있는 교사는 유아를 따뜻하고 편안하게 지도하기에 미흡하다. 이는 보육교사가 자신과 유아를 긍정적으로 받아들이고 따뜻한 관계를 유지하며 자기성숙을 위한 전문인으로써 자신의 능력이나 소질을 개발해야 함을 시사한다.

본 연구는 서예 진흥의 관한 법률이 시행됨에 따라 서예 교육 전문인력을 양성 방향을 검토해 보자는 의미에서 연구를 시작하게 되었다. 연구의 목적은 서예분야 인력 양성이라는 방향을 도출하고, 기존의 서당식, 도제식 방법과 다른 교육 전문인력 양성방향을 제안하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 먼저 서예분야 인력현황을 실태조사와 선행연구를 통해 살펴보았다. 2022년 3월 기준 한국 대학 서예학과의 교과과정 현황 전체를 분석하여 그 특징을 살펴보았다. 본 연구에서는 교원 직무연수를 활용한 전문인력 양성방향과 지정기관을 통한 전문인력 양성 방향을 제시하였다. 교원 직무연수를 활용한 전문인력 양성방향은 교육 구성원이 함께 협업하여 참여자들의 역량 강화를 도모할 수 있는 자율연수방안을 선택하였으며, 서예교육 전문성 강화를 위한 직무연수 운영방안을 기본, 전문, 심화과정으로 제시하였다. 지정기관을 통한 전문인력양성 방안은 교육·전공·운영·소통역량에 총 26개의 프로그램을 제시하였다.

This study involved an investigation of perception of dental hygienists based on a self-reported survey of a sample of 230health care personnel working at long-term care hospitals located in Gyeonggi Province, Korea. The primary objective was to provide basic data for establishing various policies related to building up a positive image of dental hygienists as a profession. The results were as follows. 79.1% of the respondents recognized dental hygienists as a profession. Among the titles for a dental hygienist, "teacher" was the most common with 47.4% of all. Female respondents and respondents who were able to discern between dental hygienists and nursing assistants were more likely to perceive dental hygienists positively than male respondents and ones who were not, respectively. Among social perceptions of dental hygienists was there a negative finding, that is, there was no appropriate title to address dental hygienists. This negative finding indicates that there is a vital need to enhance the perception of who are dental hygienists as a professionals level at the individual as well as institutional level.

본 연구의 목적은 선교 목적 한국어 교재의 개발 방향성을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해 기존에 출판되어 있는 세 권의 선교 목적 한국어 교재를 분석, 평가하였다. 그리고 이 분석의 결과를 바탕으로 앞으로의 선교 목적 한국어 교재의 개발이 어떤 방향으로 이루어져야 하는지 제시하였다. 그 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일상 언어와 성경적 언어의 균형이 중요하다. 둘째, 선교 대상자의 유형에 따른 차별화된 교재가 출판되어야 한다. 셋째, 한국어 교육 전문가와 기독교 교육 전문가가 협력적으로 개발해야 한다. 넷째, 교재 개발의 전문성이 제고되어야 한다. 다섯째, 교재 개발은 교사 교육과 연계되어야 한다.

The purpose of this study was to develop a textbook and teaching guidebook on sensory education for lower grade students at elementary schools. The goal of sensory education was to improve preferences for traditional Korean foods. An advisory committee was organized that was composed of 8 professionals in the education field, in order to discuss the adequacy and validity of the textbook's content. The textbook's units consisted of three parts composed of the following: 'feel by the five senses' (2 lessons), 'enjoying traditional Korean foods' (9 lessons), and 'eating together' (1 lesson). The lesson activities were based on experiential learning. The teacher's guidebook contained an overview of the education process, with specific information and practical guidelines for each lesson. Ninety-seven children in 3rd grade from one school participated in a pilot lesson, which evaluated the educational effects and satisfaction. After the lesson, the children had improved preferences for foods which were taught about in the class, along with better eating attitudes. These results reflect that the developed materials were suitable for improving children's preferences toward traditional Korean foods.

기능성 게임의 교육적 잠재력에 대한 합의가 있는 반면, 설계뿐만 아니라 분석과 평가를 지원하기 위한 방법론과 도구의 부족이 아직 존재한다. 본 논문은 기능성 게임에 요구되는 교육학 관련 연구의 분석을 통해 필요한 요소들을 알아내어 새로운 방법론 또는 설계 방향을 모색하려는 의도를 가진다. 이를 위해 4DF(Four Dimensional Framework), GOM(Game Object Model), LM(Learning Mechanics)-GM(Game Mechanics), 교사용 프레임워크에 대한 분석을 하였다. 교육적 게임이 직면한 가장 큰 쟁점 중의 하나는 교육과 게임 원리의 부적절한 통합에 있다. 이것은 게임 설계자와 교육 전문가가 공통적인 어휘나 업무영역의 관점을 공유하지 않는다는 사실을 포함하여 다양한 요인에 기인한다.

This qualitative research describes unique features of seven exemplary science teachers' professional development activities. Description of excellence in effective teachers' professional development efforts will provide some insights into required inservice initiatives and support systems for teachers' professional learning. Exemplary science teachers' professional development activities can be classified into four types: (1) practicing classroom supervision, (2) participating in voluntary communities of teachers, (3) playing instructional leader roles in teacher training programs, and (4) continuing one's studies at a graduate school. One of the common features of these exemplary teachers was that they can both articulate what makes teachers professionals and practice in accordance with their perspectives. These exemplary teachers not only improved their own classroom practices, but also participated actively in various professional communities to share their practical knowledge with their colleagues. The teachers have formed special-interest groups to investigate better ways of science teaching. They also took an active role in teachers' in-service education. Teachers' quality practices lie at the heart of classroom change. However, it's important to remember that there must be a support system that sustains and encourages teachers' initiatives. The implications for the support system to encourage teachers' professional development efforts are discussed.

본 연구에서는 2000년 이후 계속되고 있는 학습만화 열풍에 대한 심층적인 고찰을 위한 첫 걸음으로 어린이들의 독서 습관에 가장 큰 영향을 미칠 수 있는 초등학교 담임교사와 사서교사를 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 연구 결과 초등학교 담임교사와 사서교사들은 대체로 학습만화에 대하여 부정적인 시각을 가지고 있었으나 일부 "학습적인" 학습만화에 대한 긍정적인 시각, 학습만화가 또래에 비해 읽기능력이 뒤쳐지는 어린이들에게는 도움이 될 수도 있다는 의견도 있었다. 인터뷰에 응한 교사 모두가 학습만화에 대한 평가 기준의 필요성을 강력히 느끼고 있었다.
