원자력발전소에서의 작업복잡도를 평가하기 위한 퍼지기반 작업복잡도 지수의 개발 (Fuzzy Linguistic Approach for Evaluating Task Complexity in Nuclear Power Plant)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a method to evaluate task complexity using CIFs(Complexity Influencing Factors). We developed a method that CIFs can be used in the evaluation of task complexity using fuzzy linguistic approach. That is, a fuzzy linguistic multi-criteria method to assess task complexity in a specific task situation was proposed. The CIFs luting was assessed in linguistic terms, which are described by fuzzy numbers with triangular and trapezoidal membership function. A fuzzy weighted average algorithm, based on the extension principle, was employed to aggregate these fuzzy numbers. Finally, the method was validated by experimental approach. In the result, it was validated that TCIM(Tink Complexity Index Method) is an efficient method to evaluate task complexity because the correlation coefficient between task performance time and TCI(Task Complexity Index) was 0.699.

공과대학 캡스톤 디자인의 학습성과에 대한 자기조절학습전략의 매개효과 검증 (An Examination of the Mediation Effect of Self-Regulated Learning Strategy on Learning Outcome in Engineering Capstone Design Course)

  • This study aimed to identify the causal relationships among self-regulated learning strategy, problem solving efficacy, task value and learning outcome, and mediation effect of self-regulated learning strategy in engineering capstone design course. The data were collected from 363 university students who enrolled in capstone design courses and analyzed using structural equation modeling method. The results were: first, problem-solving efficacy and task value exerted significant effects on self-regulated learning strategy. Second, self-regulated learning strategy exerted significant effects on learning outcome, but problem-solving efficacy and task value did not. Third, problem-solving efficacy and task value showed significant indirect effects on learning outcome, which confirmed that self-regulated learning strategy fully mediated between two exogenous variables and learning outcome.

수학 교과에서의 수행과제를 활용한 수업 방안 탐색 -백워드 이론을 기반으로- (An Investigation on the Mathematical Instruction Utilizing Performance Tasks according to the Backward Design)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the possibility of mathematical instruction through performance task activities based on the The Backward Design, which was suggested at first by Wiggins & McTighe in 1998. The Design deals with a performance assessment task involving the whole objective and its entire content of a lesson. Based on the Backward Design, this study established the mathematical instructional materials, which deal with the concept of 'the sector' taught in middle school, with one large performance task including three small tasks. It is important that in the lesson students be guided to achieve the several learning goals by themselves through reasoning activities. For this purpose, a formal interview was carried out by the subject of three middle school mathematics teachers. As a result, in order to implement the instruction utilizing the performance tasks more efficiently in future, it is required that a large performance task should be selected or developed including the content or problem contexts to be relevant with the real-life challenging situations. In addition, to make students enhance reasoning skills, it is strongly requested that the tasks including the utilization of supplementary materials such as technological devices or manipulatives be dealt with in a lesson.

Task-Level Dynamic Voltage Scaling for Embedded System Design: Recent Theoretical Results

  • It is generally accepted that dynamic voltage scaling (DVS) is one of the most effective techniques of energy minimization for real-time applications in embedded system design. The effectiveness comes from the fact that the amount of energy consumption is quadractically proportional to the voltage applied to the processor. The penalty is the execution delay, which is linearly and inversely proportional to the voltage. According to the granularity of tasks to which voltage scaling is applied, the DVS problem is divided into two subproblems: inter-task DVS problem, in which the determination of the voltage is carried out on a task-by-task basis and the voltage assigned to the task is unchanged during the whole execution of the task, and intra-task DVS problem, in which the operating voltage of a task is dynamically adjusted according to the execution behavior to reflect the changes of the required number of cycles to finish the task before the deadline. Frequent voltage transitions may cause an adverse effect on energy minimization due to the increase of the overhead of transition time and energy. In addition, DVS needs to be carefully applied so that the dynamically varying chip temperature should not exceed a certain threshold because a drastic increase of chip temperature is highly likely to cause system function failure. This paper reviews representative works on the theoretical solutions to DVS problems regarding inter-task DVS, intra-task DVS, voltage transition, and thermal-aware DVS.

A Study on the Menu Type of Instrument Cluster IVIS

  • Objective: This research was carried out to study the menu type design of instrument cluster IVIS(In Vehicle Information System) for efficient navigation under deconcentrated situations. Background: A driver controls the IVIS menu using the rest of cognitive resources while driving a car. Although a driver controls the IVIS using extra cognition resources, his or her distraction can still cause some safety problems while driving. Menu type design of instrument cluster is absolutely important for safe and efficient navigation. Method: Four menu types including paging, flow, icon, and list type were identified through reviewing the existing IVIS of vehicle and the menu structure of cellular phone. Four menu types were evaluated through experiment. The experiment consisted of primary and secondary task, which the primary task was to simulate a driving and the secondary task was to control an IVIS menu prototype. Task performances, menu type preferences, and eye-movement patterns were measured in this experiment. Results: The result shows that icon type was the best design in aspect of task performance and preference. A clue for next menu item provided a positive effect for efficient menu navigation. It was identified that most of subjects gazed the middle-top area of IVIS screen from eye-movement pattern. Conclusion: A basic design of Instrument Cluster IVIS was proposed considering the result of this study in the final. Application: The results of this study can be effectively used in the design of Instrument Cluster IVIS.

  • 본 논문은 디자인 프로젝트 관리의 리엔지니어링으로서 프로젝트의 기획, 조직, 일정, 그리고 제어하는 통합적인 어플리케이션 소프트웨어 개발의 기초모델을 설정하고, 이를 토대로 프로젝트 관리 시스템의 연구/개발을 목표로 삼고 있다. 프로젝트의 성과, 소요기간, 소요예산, 그리고 소요자원 등을 관리하는 과정이 프로젝트 매니지먼트 기술의 근간을 이루는 것으로, 디자인 프로젝트 상의 수많은 정보를 적시에 효율적으로 처리함으로써 프로젝트를 성공으로 이끌 수 있게 된다. 한편, 디자인프로젝트의 관리를 집단의사결정에 의해 처리함으로써 신뢰도와 합리성의 제고는 물론, 이를 통한 사기앙양이 기대된다. 따라서, 여기에서 야기되는 의사집합의 곤란, 시간손실, 구성원의 갈등 등의 프로젝트 관리에서 비롯되는 부수적인 문제도 전자의 기본적인 관리요소와 함께 통합하여 디자인 프로젝트 관리 시스템(DPMS)을 연구/개발하였다. DPMS 시스템은 디자인 프로젝트의 선정과 디자인 프로젝트의 기획/실행관리/ 평가로 주요 모듈을 설정함으로써 프로젝트 매니저는 해당 프로젝트 과업(Task)과 활동(Activity)에 대한 팀의 운용을 융통성 있게 관리할 수 있게 된다. 이와 더불어 프로젝트 관리를 On-Line DBMS 시스템 환경 상에 운용되도록 하여 정보의 재생산성, 운용의 동시성, 그리고 보안성 등을 도모하였다.

  • In this paper show how to design a redundant robot which is suitable for the multiple task without any constraints on the workspace. The implementation is possible by the rigid connection of a mobile robot and a task robot. Use a five joint articulated robot as the task robot; designed the 3 joint mobile robot for this usage. For a task execution assigned to the redundant robot, not only the task robot but the mobile robot should work in the coordinated way. therefore, a kinematic connection of the two robots should be cleary represented in a frame. And, also the dynamic interaction between the two robots needs to be analyzed. Clarified these issues considering the control of the redundant robot. Finally, demonstrate away of utilization of the redundancy as the cooperation between the mobile robot and the task robot to execute a common task.

협동로봇 활용을 위한 작업안전 시나리오 설계 방법론 연구 (A Design Methodology of Task Safety Scenario for the Application of Collaborative Robots)

  • This study is about a design method for deriving task safety scenarios for the application of collaborative robots. A five-step process for deriving task safety scenarios for collaborative robots has been proposed, which focuses on the type of collaboration between human and collaborative robot. The three types of collaboration were classified according to the collaboration workspace and the worktime of human and collaborative robot. Based on these three types of collaboration, task safety scenarios include scenarios that predict risk from unintended use during work. Collaboration with collaborative robot is a human-centered process because human actions can create dangerous situations. Besides, we improved the understanding of this design methodology by presenting examples of the application of task safety scenarios according to the process for each type of collaboration.

Capstone-Design 활동에서 MBTI 성격유형에 따른 팀 상호작용 변화 분석 (Analysis of Team Interaction Changes in Capstone-Design Activities by MBTI Modes)

  • This study has a purpose mainly to analyze the team interaction change by the duration of time in the Capstone-Design activities according to MBTI Modes. Study objects are four students of Mechanical Engineering at School of Engineering in C University located in Daejeon, and the team interaction change was analyzed through IPA (Interaction Process Analysis) method. From the result, first, ESTP showed the change of increase in interaction by the time duration of initial, mid, late periods in 'social-emotional area: positive' and 'task area: question', and the change of decrease by the same time duration of periods in 'task area: solution'. Also, there was no change in 'social-emotional area: negative' because there was no interaction. Second, ESFJ showed the change of decrease in interaction by the time duration of initial, mid, late periods in 'social-emotional area: positive' and 'task area: question', and the change of increase by the same time duration of periods in 'task area: solution' and 'social-emotional area: negative'. Third, ISTJ showed the change of decrease in interaction by the time duration of initial, mid, late periods in 'social-emotional area: positive', 'task area: question' and 'social-emotional area: negative', and the change of increase by the same time duration of periods in 'task area: solution'. Fourth, ENFP showed the change of decrease by the time duration of initial, mid, late periods in 'social-emotional area: positive', 'task area: solution' and 'social-emotional area: negative', and the change of increase by the same time duration of periods in 'task area: question'.
