  • This study investigates the relationship among major satisfaction, self-esteem and nursing professionalism of the students majoring in nursing. The purpose of this paper is to seek the movement of the direction of nursing education in order to improve the formulation, major satisfaction, and self-esteem of the nursing professionalism for the nursing students. This study provides you with the survey conducted among 195 people attending and nursing students as a correlation research. Data collection period was from October 1, 2014 to October 31, and Data were analyzed by t-values. Correlation coefficient using the SPSS Program 18.0. Major satisfaction and self-esteem of the nursing college students shows a correlation between net. Therefore, development and application of educational programs have to be necessary to improve the nursing students' self-esteem and a desirable professional intuition.

  • The present study investigates the relationships between clinical practice stress, major satisfaction, and nursing professionalism in nursing students, and aims to explore the direction of nursing education for the establishment of exemplary nursing professionalism in nursing college students. This correlational study involved 210 third- and fourth-year nursing students with clinical practice experience. Data were collected from April 1 to May 30, 2014. Data were analyzed using t-tests, correlation analyses, and regression analyses with SPSS Program 20.0. Also, AMOS were used for confirmatory factor analysis. Stress in clinical practice explained 30% of the variance in satisfaction with one's major, and was the strongest predictor of nursing professionalism, explaining 53% of the variance in the same. The results show the need for educational interventions to enhance students' perceived value of and satisfaction with nursing, as well as for structured and systematic educational programs that consider individual characteristics.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine customer behavior when choosing event menu at the banquet restaurant of a five-star hotel and analyze the factors of choosing the menu and its customer satisfaction. Based on the results of this study, it is possible for hotel mangers to develop good banquet event menu choices and use them when changing menu. This study adopts the Enter Method, and "t" defines 3 variables such as physiological intent, quality of food, and reasonable price. However, the other factors such as sensory images of food, contents of menu, promotion menu, cleanliness and services prove not to be important variables in this study. Among most important 3 variables, quality of food with the highest figure($\beta$ .416) is the most important variable to customer satisfaction followed by physiological intent ($\beta$ .283) and resonable price($\beta$ .134).

  • The purpose of this study is to conduct a meta-analysis of 18 papers that can be verified among the papers on the subject of TPM. Five hypotheses were set for the analysis and meta - analysis was carried out with CMA as presented in each research paper. As a result of analysis, I-square value is more than 75% in four hypotheses. Therefore, the null hypothesis that the size of the population effect is the same for all studies was rejected. The reason for the heterogeneity is that the research characteristics such as the distribution of the respondents, the study conditions, the study period, and the study area are different. In this case, a summary statistic of the individual studies that can be classified according to the characteristics of the research is needed to analyze the effect size difference. However, individual studies do not provide a summary statistic that can classify the effect differences, so it is not possible to analyze the causes of heterogeneity.

The move to seek the direction of nursing education in order to improve the formulation and self-esteem and reduce depression of the nursing college students. This study was conducted among 200 people attending and nursing college students as a correlation research. Data collection period was from May 1, 2015 to May 31, Data were analyzed by t-values, Correlation coefficient using the SPSS Program 18.0. Stress in clinical practice, depression and self-esteem of the nursing college students showed a correlation between net. Therefore, to improve the nursing students' self-esteem so that you can form a desirable professional intuition is needed to decrease the stress in clinical practice and depression development and application of efficient clinical educational programs.

  • An equation to predict the ground settlement caused by tunneling through granular soils is proposed, The equation is developed modifying the Murayama equation using the results of elastic finite element analysis. Ground settlements at the underground structures in Korea and other countries are analyzed. From the results of the settlement analysis, it is found that the ground settlement associated with tunneling through granular soils is not only affected by tunnel geometry but also related to volume change characteristics of soils. It is also found that the widths of shear band, t in field conditions are 2 to 6 times greater than the values proposed in the Murayama's model. Calculated settlements using the proposed equation show reasonable agreement with the observed settlements and the results from the elasto-plastic finite element analysis. Murayama equation seems to underestimate the ground settlement.

  • The study on the adsorption, the surface properties and the antibacterial effects of the Ni-treated PAN based activated carbon fibers was carried out. In the adsorption study on the Ni-treated PAN based ACFs, Type I isotherms for N1-N3 and Type II-Type III isotherms for N4-N6 were obtained, respectively. Futhermore, their adsorbed volumes slowly were decreased with the increase in the mole concentration of Ni on the treated PAN based ACFs. From the BET equation, the specific surface areas of the Ni-treated PAN based ACFs were in the range of $692.58-895.24m^2/g$. The micropore volumes obtained from ${\alpha}_s$-method using common-t value were $0.19-0.56cm^3/g$. The surfaces of PAN based ACFs partially blocked by metal after the treatment were observed from the SEM micrographs. Finally, from the antibacterial effects using Shake flask method against E. coli, the percentage of the effects was 92.5-100% and the antibacterial effect was increased with the increase in mole concentration of Ni treated.

  • This study analyzed empirically the same data through SPSS statistic(regression analysis) and AMOS program(structural equation model) used for cause and effect analysis. The result of empirical analysis was as follows. The different outcome of coefficients and p-values were deducted. Especially, in the mediated effect testing, meanwhile, SPSS statistic(regression analysis) pictured mediated effect, AMOS program(structural equation model) did not picture mediated effect on the reject zone of null hypothesis(absolute t-value and C.R.-value were nearby 1.96). Eventually, this study showed that what program used determined the outcomes of coefficients and p-values(In particular, the outcomes were differentiated further in the increasing measurement error) though using the same data.

  • This study was conducted to examine the effects of the "motivation semester" program, which was implemented for the freshmen at the K-university. The program, which was carried out for the first time among universities in Korea, was designed to help university freshmen with increasing academic motivation and adjusting university life. For four weeks, various programs such as self-leadership camp, major commitment programs, and career exploration were offered to all freshmen at the K-university. The study design was a pre-post comparison of academic motivation scores among four undergraduate departments freshmen, majoring social welfare, hospital management, radiological science, and optometry. The subjects of this study were 196 students. The T-test result, which was used to analyze the differences between pre- and post-program scores, was statistically significant(t=-2.523, P<.05). The study results showed that the "motivation semester" program significantly enhanced the academic motivation of freshmen. It was encouraged to develop programs for university freshmen to improve academic motivation in their major areas.
