The objectives of this study are to study and propose the learning elements and it's teaching methods for Information Ethics by expert survey. In recent days, Internet is the new field of our living, but teaching the students in elementary and secondary schools the subject of Information Ethics which purpose is to have positive attitude of utilizing Internet is not properly executed. The first step to teach Information Ethics in schools is to choose the learning elements in Information Ethics. Therefore, this paper is to choose the learning elements and re-arrange them with point of view to elementary and secondary schools. And more, in order to teach the students the learning elements of Information Ethics effectively, we propose the proper teaching methods to the learning elements by teacher's survey. The learning elements and teaching methods in Information Ethics is not the perfect guide to teach students in school, but the output of this study will be the good guide to revise the Information Ethics-related curriculums and product the textbooks about Information Ethics.

KEPCO signed up with LS CABLE as a contractor for HVDC submarine cable construction in February 2009. The desk research has been completed in may 2009. Also, Cable route and the protection method will be selected by November 2009. The tentative cable route between Jindo and Jeju which is consisted of sea farms and shipping route zone will reach almost 105km. The oceanographic survey for the selection of protection method will be carried out and the survey lists are consisted of MBES, SSS, CPT, ADSP. The protection methods such as burial, Concrete Mattress, UP Pipe, Rock Berm will be selected as per each condition of sea area after the oceanographic survey is completed. Kepco has developed variable methods based on the maintenance experience for HVDC submarine cable between HAENAM and JEJU. Based on the such a accumulated know-how, it can be expected for the confidence and stability of the 2nd HVC project to be improved.

The purpose of this study is to examine methodological issues of empirical research using survey methods in Journal of the Korean Society of Clothing and Textiles. We reviewed 95 articles from Journal of the Korean Society of Clothing and Textiles in 1996, 1998, and 2000. Methodological issues were categorized into four areas: questionnaire and scale development, sampling and collecting data, variable construction, and external validity(generalization). In each imp, a check list was made and 95 articles were reviewed based on this limit. Major findings were discussed and some suggestions were made for future research.

SDP (Semidefinite Programming), as a sort of “cone-LP”, optimizes a linear function over the intersection of an affine space and a cone that has the origin as its apex. SDP, however, has been developed in the process of searching for better solution methods for NP-hard combinatorial optimization problems. We surveyed the basic theories necessary to understand SDP researches. First, We examined SDP duality, comparing it to LP duality, which is essential for the interior point method, Second, we showed that SDP can be optimized from an interior solution in polynomial time with a desired error limit. finally, we summarized several research papers that showed SDP can improve solution methods for some combinatorial optimization problems, and explained why SDP has become one of the most important research topics in optimization. We tried to integrate SDP theories. relatively diverse and complicated. to survey research papers with our own perspective, and thus to help researcher to pursue their SDP researches in depth.

Several survey observations have produced light curves of more than five thousand eclipsing binaries for last 15 years. Future missions such as the Large Synoptic Survey Telescope (LSST), the Panoramic Survey Telescope and Rapid Response System (Pan-STARRS) and Gaia are expected to yield hundreds thousands of new variable stars and eclipsing binaries. Current methods require a week to analyze the light curves of an eclipsing binary for its physical and orbital parameters. The current methods of analyzing the light curves will be inadequate to treat the overwhelming influx of new data. Therefore we developed a new method to treat large numbers of light curves of eclipsing binaries. We tested the new method by analyzing more than one hundred light curves of the detached and semi-detached eclipsing binaries discovered in the Small Magellan Cloud and present their fitted light curves with observations.

We suggest two types of misuses to analyze the same survey data. One is related with the fact that people nay use the wrong bounds of error when they compare two proportions. And the other is related with that some non-statisticians are apt to use wrong methods when there is a neutral answer in a question. We suggest these methods and compare them with the statistically good method. It will be a good results in educational purpose.

Normal Operation Safety Survey (NOSS) is a safety management tool used by air traffic control organizations to measure data related to threats and errors to proactively prevent accidents before they occur. NOSS was developed to be applied to the air traffic control field according to the concept of Line Operation Safety Audit (LOSA) conducted by airlines to reduce human errors in the cockpits. Safety management based on data is crucial for the prevention of control-related accidents, and the competency of observers for this is important for the successful implementation of NOSS. Based on LOSA implementation experiences and expert interviews, this paper introduces the international NOSS methods and discusses the key factors required for effective observation and the implementation methods and implications of NOSS observer training.

Side-channel attacks are a quiet mighty type of attack that targets specific physical implementations vulnerabilities. Even though several researchers have examined diverse means and methods of detecting side-channel attacks, at the present time a systematic review of these approaches does not exist. The purposes of this paper are to give an extensive analysis of literature on side-channel attack detection and offer intuitiveness from past research studies. In this study, a literature survey is conducted on articles related to side-channel attack detection between 2020 and 2022 from ACM and IEEE digital libraries. From the 10 publications included in the study, it appears they target either a single type of side-channel attacks or multiple types of side-channel attacks. Therefore, a vital review of each of the two categories is provided, as well as possible prospective research in this field of study.

Purpose: The objective of this paper was to analyze the requirements of the end-users by class after carrying out a survey on the user requirements for sleeping bags and utilize the result for effective product development. Methods: The test for difference in means by class was conducted through one sample analysis and one-way ANOVA after the survey result has gone through a reliability verification, and an LSD (Least Significant Difference) test was conducted as a post-mortem method. Results: A significant result was derived from the survey on the user requirements for sleeping bags by method of use, use of combination of sleeping bag components or a sleeping bag alone. Conclusion: The significant result derived from the survey of this paper on the user requirements for sleeping bags can be utilized for effective development of sleeping bags.

This paper intends to provide some guidelines for the articles to be published in Survey Research. For that purpose, we review the research articles published in Public Opinion Quarterly in 1991, 1995, and 2000, and identify the characteristics and the analytical methods and data used in these researches. Articles in Public Opinion Quarterly have some implications to the Korean survey research community in such a way that the types of researches to improve survey qualities and meta analyses of previously conducted survey researches seem to be the most useful and necessary at present.
