To study on the behavior of the early stage of the spark kernel at constant pressure condition, the expressions of the thermal properties such as compressibility factor, thermal conductivity, and electrical conductivity of the high temperature air were newly suggested. The newly suggested simple expressions of the thermal properties of the high temperature air showed good results. Under the assumption of constant pressure, one dimensional numerical analysis was executed by varying surrounding conditions and discharging current of electrical spark. Numerical results show tat high surrounding pressure suppresses the growth of the spark kernel but supplies much electrical energy into the air, on the other hand high surrounding temperature increases the growth of the spark kernel but supplies less electrical energy. Also the result shows that , in case of direct current discharge, deposited electrical energy is able to be expressed in linear function of time approximately.

Purpose. We wanted to find out how the changes in brain function affected by the beats per minute (BPM) of music affected visual function. Methods. The subjects were 40 people in their 20s (30 men, 10 women) with no eye disease, strabismus, amblyopia and a corrected visual acuity of 1.0 or higher. Wearing headphones while excluding surrounding noise as much as possible, we played music while adjusting the beat rate at 40 BPM intervals from 80 to 200 BPM. Then, pupil size measurement, lag of accommodation test, and minus lens addition method maximum accommodation test were performed and analyzed. Results. As a result of analyzing changes in visual function according to beats per minute [BPM], it was found that although sound can be consciously affected, it does not directly affect visual function significantly in terms of accommodative lag and changes in pupil size. It was confirmed that the effect was limited to the maximum accommodation. Conclusions. In clinical practice, it is necessary to conduct a refraction test while keeping in mind that there are changes in visual function depending on the BPM of surrounding sounds.

IPv6 defines relation between surrounding node using Neighbor Discovery protocol. Used Neighbor Discovery messages, grasp surrounding node, include important informations about network. These network information outcrops can give rise in network attack and also service that use network will paralysis. Various kinds of security limitation was found in Present Neighbor Discovery protocol therefore security function to supplement this problem was required. In this thesis, Secure Neighbor Discovery protocol that add with suity function was design and embody by CGA module and SEND module.
The stress path characteristics of surrounding rock in the formation of gob were analysed and the unloading was solved. Taking Chengchao Iron Mine as the engineering background, the model for analysing the instability of deep gob was established based on the mechanism of stress relief in deep mining. The energy evolution law was investigated by introducing the local energy release rate index (LERR), and the energy criterion of instability of surrounding rock was established based on the cusp catastrophe theory. The results showed that the evolution equation of the local energy release energy of the surrounding rock was quartic function with one unknown and the release rate increased gradually during the mining. The calculation results showed that the gob was stable. The LERR per unit volume of the bottom structure was relatively smaller, which mean the stability was better. The LERR distribution showed that there was main energy release in the horizontal direction and energy concentration in the vertical direction which meet the characteristics of deep mining. In summary, this model could effectively calculate the stability of surrounding rock in the formation of gob. The LERR could reflect the dynamic process of energy release, transfer and dissipation which provided an important reference for the study of the stability of deep mined out area.

In the nanoscale regime, many multigate devices are explored to reduce their size further and to enhance their performance. In this paper, design of a novel device called, Triple Material Surrounding Gate Tunnel Field effect transistor (TMSGTFET) has been developed and proposed. The advantages of surrounding gate and tunnel FET are combined to form a new structure. The gate material surrounding the device is replaced by three gate materials of different work functions in order to curb the short channel effects. A 2-D analytical modeling of the surface potential, lateral electric field, vertical electric field and drain current of the device is done, and the results are discussed. A step up potential profile is obtained which screens the drain potential, thus reducing the drain control over the channel. This results in appreciable diminishing of short channel effects and hot carrier effects. The proposed model also shows improved ON current. The excellent device characteristics predicted by the model are validated using TCAD simulation, thus ensuring the accuracy of our model.
Purpose: A city is regarded as an organic living thing that generates, changes, and fades away in relationship with many components of city. Therefore, a city has its own identity based on its historical trace. Among these elements composing a city, it is a square that makes a city more active and dynamic. Piazza Navona in Rome, Italy has played its role as significant core in the city and has distinctive function from other squares in urban ecological environments. In this study, the distinguishing function and role of Piazza Navona will be defined. Another purpose of study is to figure out what factors of Piazza Navona attracts a lot of diverse people and activities. Method: First, general understanding of function, type, and history of piazza; Second, the historical background of Piazza Navona; Third, site analysis related to surrounding environments; Fourth, architectural characteristic of Piazza Navona in terms of plan and elevation; Fifth, comparing with other representative squares in Rome such as Piazza San Pietro, Piazza del Popolo, and Piazza del Campidoglio in aspects of urban function. Result: Piazza Navona provides both citizen and visitors with an inviting place to embrace all kinds of activities including assembly, annual festival, and daily events. Its functions in the urban environments also involve a tourist attractor as landmark, place for social and cultural interaction, market, and place for meeting and leisure. It is attributed to following factors; historical background as the city center since the first century AD; its location in the center of Rome; enough size and flexibility to accommodate many people and various events; open space enclosed by surrounding buildings; historical baroque structures and sculptures of fountains; synergy effect with commercial and other tourist attractors around Piazza Navona; and comfortable accessibility.

Cultural-historical places, due to their strong symbolic sense of place shared in various people, have important impacts on people's cognitive and emotional reactions. Especially, the visual characteristics of surrounding areas of cultural -historical places directly influence the way the places are perceived, because they function as a visual background of the places. This study examined how the visual characteristics of surrounding landscape of cultural-historical places nfluenced the perception of the places. The visual characteristics of the surrounding landscape was minipulated by a computer simulation in the two aspects; quality and scale. The quality of the simulated landscape was divided by two kinds : natural and artificial . The scale of the simulated landscape was classified by three kinds : 1/3 of the middle ground, 2/3, and 3/3. Specifically, in each photo simulation, simulated natural or artificial background was introduced up to 1/3, 2/3 or the full height of historic monument. After a computer simulation, people's cognitive and emotional reactions to the simulated slides were investigated. The results showed that the quality of surrounding landscape have a great impact on all the cognitive and emotional reactions investigated. On the vontrary, the scale of surrounding landscape was found to habve an impact on partial reactions, such as all the emotions, part of the cognitions, and visiting preference only. The results revealed that the visual characteristics of surrounding landscape should be considered as the crucial elements in planning of cultural-historical places. Based on the study results, several suggestions were made for the landscape planning and conservation for cultural-historical places and historic cities.

The nput impedance of a patch-tupe dipole antenna for GPR is calculated by using the moment methods in case that the surrounding medium is modeled on a multi-layer structure consisting of lossy dielectircs. When the cone-type function equivalent to pulse basis function in employed, one of the double integration can be performed analytically. The remaining integration is excuted numerically in a finite rnage and analytically in asymptotic region. The current distributions and input impedances of those antennas are calculated numerically.
The long-term success of any dental implant is dependent upon the optimization of stresses which occur during oral function and parafunction. Especially, it has been suggested that there is an unique set of problems associated with joining an osseointegrated implant and a natural tooth with a fixed partial denture. For this particular case, although many literatures suggest different ways to avoid high stress concentrations on the bone surrounding the implant under static and dynamic loading conditions, but few studies on the biomechanical efficacy of each assertion have been reported. The purpose of this investigation was to evaluate the efficacies of clinically suggested methods on stress distribution under static load and shock absorption under dynamic load, using two dimensional finite element method. In FEM models of osseointegrated implant-natural tooth supported fixed partial dentures, calculations were made on the stresses in surrounding bone and on the deflections of abutments and superstructure, first, to compare the difference in stress distribution effects under static load by the flexure of fastening screw or prosthesis, or intramobile connector, and second, to compare the difference in the shock absorption effects under dynamic load by intramobile connector or occlusal veneering with composite resin. The results of this analysis suggest that : 1. Under static load condition, using an implant design with fastenign screw connecting implant abutment and prosthesis or increasing the flexibility of fastening screw, or increasing the flexibility of prosthesis led to the .increase in height of peak stresses in cortical bone surrounding the implant, and has little effect on stress change in bone around the natural tooth. 2. Under static load condition, intramobile connector caused the substantial decrease in stress concentration in cortical bone surrounding the implant and the slight increase in stress in bone around the natural tooth. 3. Under dynamic load condition, both intramobile connector and composite resin veneering showed shock absorption effect on bone surrounding the implant and composite resin veneering had a greater shock absorption effect than intramobile connector.
The general sensor network uses bundle method to collect fixed information from sensor node. However, this method is difficult to actively cope with major sensing objects in healthcare environment including status and position change of person and change of surrounding environment. In order to support the healthcare environment, certain information should be provided in accordance with the change of status of person and surrounding circumstance and also must cope with the change of network type by movement of person. This paper analyzes LEACH protocol which guarantees effectiveness of network as it constitutes clusters between Agilla model that is a representative multi agent middle ware and surrounding nodes. Based on the result of this analysis, it suggests LEACH_Mobile protocol which guarantees node mobility that is the weakest point of LEACH protocol. Moreover, it designs mobility agent middleware which supports dynamic function change of node and mobility agent module which supports dynamic function change of mobile node as components of LEACH_Mobile routing module. In addition, it is definitely increase performance which in mobile node of transfer data rate through LEACH_Mobile protocol of simulation result.
