VMI(벤더 관리형 재고)는 소매업자에 있는 재고가 제조자나 벤더에 의해 모니터링되고 관리되는 유통채널 시스템이다. 의사결정책임을 공급사슬 위쪽으로 밀어내고 재고 보충결정을 집중화함으로써, 벤더가 전체 공급사슬이 더욱 경쟁력 있게 도와줄 수 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 한국 제조업자에 의한 VMI 수용에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 탐색하기 위한 것이다. 이 연구는 VMI를 도입하는 데에 대한 부담의 선행요인으로써 IT 준비성, 영업비, 정보공유를 제안한다. 또한 이 연구는 중소규모의 제조자들로부터 설문 결과를 수집하였다. 통계적 결과는 운영비용만이 VMI의 수용에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다는 것을 나타내었다. 그러나 IT 준비성과 정보 공유는 운영비용에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 결국 VMI 수용에 간접적인 영향이 있었다. 결론으로 이 연구결과의 학문적, 실무적 시사점도 논의되었다.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the level of SCM activities and the logistics performance by SCM of the three company types in fashion industry· fabric suppliers, apparel manufacturers, and retailers. The level of SCM activities was estimated through the examination of seven factors: commitment and leadership of a top management, flexibility of management, understanding of demand characteristics, integrated management organization, information system, cooperative partnership and communication and exchange of opinion. The logistics performance was measured by improvement in customer service(on time delivery ratio of products, returning rate, treat ratio for A/S, order fill rate, substitute providing capability for being out of stock) and delivery cost reduction. Through questionnaire survey, a total of 214 data for 108 companies of three company types were collected: 46 for 40 fabric suppliers, 123 for 64 apparel manufacturers and 45 for 4 retailers. The analysis of SCM activity levels showed that fabric suppliers had higher degrees in the factor of understanding of demand characteristics, and apparel manufacturers had higher degrees in the factor of information systems. For retailers, the factor of communication and exchange of opinion represented higher degrees. The study on relationship between the SCM activity levels and logistics performance showed that the SCM activity factor of understanding of demand characteristics greatly improved a substitute providing capability for being out of stock in fabric suppliers, and information system improved a substitute providing capability for being out of stock, on time delivery ratio of products and order fill rate in apparel manufacturers. In retailers, the SCM activity factor of understanding of demand characteristics decreased returning rate highly and improved on time delivery ratio of products. The study results showed that SCM activities in fashion industry brought more improvement in customer service levels rather than in delivery cost reduction.

최근 정보통신기술(ICT)의 발달로 산업혁명은 3차 산업에서 4차 산업으로 옮겨가고 있다. 기업이 미래에 생존하기 위해서는 이러한 기술을 채택해야 한다는 것에는 의심의 여지가 없다. 본 연구의 목적은 제4차 산업혁명을 위한 사물인터넷(IoT) 연구 문헌의 지적 구조를 분석하여 해당 분야에 대한 더 나은 통찰력을 제시하는 것이다. 연구 데이터는 Web of Science 데이터베이스에서 추출되었으며, CiteSpace를 사용하여 총 1,631개의 문서와 72,754개의 참고 문헌을 분석하였다. 저자동시인용분석을 이용하여 제4차 산업혁명을 위한 사물인터넷 연구 분야의 지적 구조를 분석하기 위해 군집분석, 타임라인 분석, 연구전환점 분석을 수행하여 'Supply Chain', 'Digital Twin', 'Smart Manufacturing System' 등 12개의 하위 영역을 식별하였다. 타임라인 분석을 통해 연구가 확대되고 있는 분야와 축소되고 있는 분야를 분석하였으며, 연구의 한계점과 향후 연구방향을 결론과 함께 제시하였다.

Inventory Management has become a very important issue in supply chain management, because inventories may be used as a means to accomplish the certain strategic goals in company decisions. RFID(radio frequency identification) technology is used to help manage inventories. It is known that the ideal control of inventories is to replenish item by item. This paper points out several misinterpretations from the Wal-mart report presented in '07 Seoul Forum and suggests the new direction of RFID application. In this paper we consider RFID as not 'identification technology' but 'information technology.' The 'RF-Kanban' suggested here is adopted from the'Kanban'concept of TPS(Toyota Production System). The RF-Kanban system shows the easier control for replenishing various items in boxes. Lots of inventories can be reduced through RF-Kanban System. This work develops the protocol of RF-Kanban and introduces the case study for easier understanding.

Recently, due to the globalization of business, the efficient supply chain management(SCM) is considered as the key initiatives of business activities, and the leading logistics companies are trying to provide the differentiated 3PL services to meet their customers' needs. The domestic 3PL market scale, however, is still small and the logistics companies' competence is not good enough, so that 3PL companies need to concentrate on their logistics strategies and the government's supports and related policies are required. In this point of view, we developed the system dynamics model and forecasted middle or long-term domestic 3PL market. Through the result, we suggest the roles of government and the directions of policies to support the domestic 3PL market effectively.

In this regard, the newly focused logistics information system makes reducing the expenses of whole logistic available by cutting down the expenses of materials, transportation and stock and also, it allows the company to cut down the procurement expense through the reduced lead-time and rationalize producing plans by eliminating the uncertain orders and fluctuation in procurement. It further more optimizes the efficiency of over all productions by meeting the dead line for delivery to the customers. In the recent environment of globalization where fierce competitions exist between manufacturers, logistics plays important role in the strategies of companies, and managements of companies try their best efforts in establishing the strategy to accomplish the innovative relationship between supply chain channels. Therefore, in this study, we try to suggest the model of consolidated logistics system that is integrated logistics information system with suggesting the better way of logistics and comparative analysis with logistics system to resolve the difficulties numbers of companies face after realizing what logistics information system is in Korea.

In today's rapidly changing business environment, quality of responsiveness to customer requirements for short order cycles and on time delivery is becoming more important and considered as one of critical success factors in supply chain management. Yet despite its importance on reducing transportation cost and improving customer service, little attention has been given to the transportation planning system in Korea SI industry. In this paper, we present development of transportation planning system especially to deal with vehicle routing problem which has the goal to minimize the costs of daily transportation operation and to maximize customer delivery service. The system architecture with other enterprise application is presented and real-world constraints are well incorporated into the system by combining constraints programming and meta heuristics.

In supply chains, coordination between a manufacturer and suppliers is regarded as the most important issue when partnership of organizations is considered. Since the suppliers are external to the manufacturer and poor coordination between them results in excessive delays and ultimately leads to poor customer service, manufacturers need a new methodology to select suppliers and to manage and enhance the partnership between manufacturer and suppliers. We suggest a methodology that extends knowledge obtained from the supplier selection process to the supplier management process. We reserved a word, the supplier selection and management system (SSMS) for this methodology. In this paper, we explain how the SSMS is applied to a real supply chain. The methodology identifies the managerial criteria using information derived from supplier selection process and makes use of them in the supplier management process. These managerial criteria include key criteria that are major criteria required by the manufacturer for the best quality of parts from suppliers according to the character of each part, and weak criteria that show the shortcomings of selected suppliers as compared with alternative suppliers with regard to each criterion. The effectiveness of supplier management with managerial criteria was verified by a t-test and a correlation analysis with data collected and hypothesized from a Korean air-conditioner manufacturer.

Globalization of the industry induces the internationalization of any given manufacturing company's supply chain. Development of e-Commerce and Information Technology (IT) changes the logistics structure, making logistics information systems essential. Web-based connectivity and supply chains based on new technologies are becoming essential in the logistics industry. Customers are driving the implementation of systems to ensure timely, thorough, and accurate information, often with immediate access; in response, the Internet has propagated tracking and tracing systems. Value-added services are the key to successful intermediary activities. The nationwide Integrated Logistics Information System (ILIS) aimed to utilize existing and future information infrastructure and knowledge bases to build an integrated logistics information network that would provide comprehensive logistics information services for shippers and carriers in order to improve the efficiency of both inventory and information flows in their supply chains. The ILIS, as one of the seven national information networks, has provided various services, particularly services related to import/export and clearance. Though a survey concerning logistics information services shows rather positive results, shippers and carriers still require better services and reductions in EDI prices. Therefore, the role of the ILIS needs to be re-defined. Short-term plans for the ILIS contain ICD services and XML/EDI services, which are described in detail.
