Web based lecture & learning system has changed the conventional learner-oriented educational environment by adding mutual interactions. From the learner competency-based education. the necessity of the learner-oriented education and the mutual cooperation among the learners has been increased. A project-based education system will achieve a progressive development in understanding and the competency for the job to be performed by the mutual interactions between the learners and between the learners and the lecturer. This paper presents the project-based learning system in order to facilitate and achieve the goals of the industrial business processing system implementations in the ongoing popular Internet environments. In the proposed project-based system, the lecturer presents a problem to be solved and leads the education as a supervisor The learner can maximize the efficiency for study by taking advantage of the learner-oriented comparison study and the patterning.

Purpose: Though Korean healthcare services have been upgraded, infection and fire had been broken out in general hospitals. And higher concerns about quality assessment made it to clinical laboratory design guideline studies. So, this study investigates the facilities, equipment and personnel of laboratory medicine focusing on more than five hundred fifty bed hospital, and contributes to make guidelines for safety and efficiency in lab. Methods: Questionnaires to supervisor technologist and field surveys to medical laboratories in korean hospitals have been conducted for the data collection. 16 answers have been analysed statistically by MS Excel program. Results: Most of the sample tests such as hematology, clinical chemistry, immunology, transfusion, urinalysis, microbiology and molecular diagnosis are performed by more than 80% in large sized general hospital laboratory. In the test methods, automatic analyzers are used up to 80%, total laboratory automation up to 43% in clinical chemistry and immunology, and manual tests in all sorts of the test. There are placed in single lab or two and three labs above the ground, which are all in semi-open lab. There is some correlation with the number of specimens and the number of lab people depending on the number of hospital beds. Laboratory environment shows that work distance is good, but evacuation path width, visibility, separation of staff area from automatic analyzer, and equipment installations are needed to have more spaces and gears. Most of the infection controls are equipped with mechanical ventilation, air-conditioning, washbasin and wastewater separation, BSC installation and negative pressure lab room. Implications: Although the laboratory space area is calculated considering the number of hospital beds, type of tests and number of staff, hospital's expertise and the samples numbers per year should be taken into account in the planning of the hospital.
Background: Work Ability Index (WAI) is a well-known and valid self-report tool that has been widely used in various studies to identify and avoid early retirement and work-related disability. Nevertheless, very few studies have been carried out to evaluate work ability in Iran. We aimed to investigate the WAI and the effect of work-related stress on it among Iranian workers. Methods: A cross-sectional, descriptive and analytic study was carried out among 449 workers from five working sectors in three big cities of Iran. Work ability and work-related stress were measured using the Persian version of WAI and the Persian version of Health and Safety Executive Stress Indicator Tool. Results: More than a third of the workers surveyed (34.70%) did not have an appropriate level of work ability (WAI < 37). There was a significant correlation between subscales of work-related stress and the mean score of WAI. Furthermore, the variables of body mass index, sleep quality, exercise activity, job tenure, and three subscales of work-related stress including demands, supervisor support, and role were significant predictors of WAI. Conclusion: According to the results of this study, the interventional programs must be focused on improving supervisors support, eliminating ambiguity and conflicts in the role of workers in their job and organization, reducing job demands, improving sleep quality, and increasing exercise activity.

Objectives: The questionnaire of occupational stress index (OSI) has been popular in the workplace, and it has been tailored for bus drivers in Taiwan. Nevertheless, its outcomes for participants are based on self-evaluations, thus validation by their physiological stress biomarker is warranted and this is the main goal of this study. Methods: A cross-sectional study of sixty-three city bus drivers and fifty-four supporting staffs for comparison was conducted. Questionnaire surveys, 24-hour urine cortisol testing, and blood draws for dehydroepiandrosterone-sulfate (DHEA-S) testing were performed. The measured concentrations of these biological measures were logarithmically transformed before the statistical analysis where various scores of stressor factors, moderators, and stress effects of each OSI domain were analyzed by applying multiple linear regression models. Results: For drivers, the elevated 24-hour urine cortisol level was associated with a worker's relationship with their supervisor and any life change events in the most recent 3 months. The DHEA-S level was higher in drivers of younger age as well as drivers with more concerns relating to their salary and bonuses. Non-drivers showed no association between any stressor or satisfaction and urine cortisol and blood DHEA-S levels. Conclusion: Measurements of biomarkers may offer additional stress evaluations with OSI questionnaires for bus drivers. Increased DHEA-S and cortisol levels may result from stressors like income security. Prevention efforts towards occupational stress and life events and health promotional efforts for aged driver were important anti-stress remedies.

There is much information of equipment in shop floor because the manufacturing processes are different as the equipment within the manufacturing process is varied. To provide effective process information to MES and other production systems, the DAS requires an equipment monitoring system that takes into account the characteristics of the equipment on the shop floor. In this study, we proposed some methods for collecting the required information about various equipments on a shop floor. The equipments such as CNC can be interfaced with the DAS by using a PLC-based method and a sensor-based interface board can be used to interface general equipments. The proposed methods can be used to collect information on the shop floor in real-time. Moreover these methods are very adaptive and can be easily modified according to the changes made to the shop floor. The information about a real shop floor acquired by employing these methods is saved in a database and the can be provided to a supervisor and MES so that they are aware of the status of the shop floor.

This paper proposes a method of recognizing that a person doesn't put on a safety cap using image processing method in DSP(Digital Signal Processor). It processes inputted images by image input devices that equipped in a industrial settings. If the method recognizes a person that doesn't put on a safety cap, a system transfers relevant recognition result to a supervisor and takes proper measures. If an accident happens and someone doesn't put on a safety cap, additional casualities could be. Proposed method can nip additional casualties in the bud. To recognize that a person don't put on a safety cap, images are processed by object abstraction, removal of noise, decision of a thing or a person, abstraction of a head part in a image, recognizing whether a man puts on a safety cap using HSV color space or not, and so on. Image input and image process are processed by DSP. And C language-based codes are optimized by an eignefunction(Intrinsics) for speed improvement of algorithms.
Background: Workplace violence (WPV) is becoming an issue that needs immediate attention in the United States, especially during this period as more states are adopting the "stand your ground laws to promote worker protection." This study was conducted to investigate how WPV has contributed to an unsafe environment for nurses and nursing assistants who work in long-term medical care facilities. Methods: A structure questionnaire was used to collect data for the study. Three facilities were sampled and 80 nurses and certified nursing assistants participated in the study. Ninety-two percent (n = 74) were female and 8% (n = 6) were male. Approximately 62% were black or African American, approximately 33% were Caucasians, and only 2% were from other ethnicities. Results: We found that 65% of the participants had experienced WPV while 41% believed that management shows little or no concern for their safety. Approximately 23% of respondents believed that reporting supervisor's WPV act is an unsafe action. In addition, 22% of those who reported that they have experienced WPV believed that the work environment is not safe to perform their duties. This significant difference in perception of workplace safety between those who had experienced WPV and those who had not was significant (t = 3.95, df = 158, p < 0.0001). Conclusion: WPV is an epidemic problem that affects all health-care professionals. The findings of this study could help long-term medical care facilities' management identify the areas to focus on mitigating, controlling, and/or eliminating incidents of WPV.
Purpose: The purpose of this study on education and skill of Basic life Support Training in Middle and High School Students. Methods: The Basic life support training courses are taught mostly by Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic. Sixty five middle school students, Seventy eight High school students and forty six adult received tuition in Basic life support training and subsequently completed questionnaires, test and interviews to assess their theoretical knowledge regarding their likelihood of performing Basic life support training. Under the supervisor, The subjects were evaluated by comparing basic life support education and skill data collected and the education sessions consisted of a 30min video tape. The Basic life support skill sessions used Laerdal manikin, and the data stored from the HeartSim were collected for further analysis. The students were asked to practice what they had been. A statistical analysis was done using the SPSS version 13. Results: Their average age of middle school students were 15.3±1.2 years, high school students (17.3±1.8), and adults(38.3±2.3). The total of 189 subjects were evaluated. The criteria used in the study had the following results First, We found that middle and high school students scored higher than adult. The scores were statistically significant to teach and evaluate the education evaluation showed that the adults scored lower than the middle and high school students. Second, We found that high school students and adult scored higher than middle school students. The scores were statistically significant to teach and evaluate the skills evaluation showed that the middle school students scored lower than the high school students and adult. Conclusion: We found that middle and high school students were superior to adult counterparts in understanding the basic life support education. We found that high school students and adult scored higher than middle school students in the BLS skill training. An expansion of basic life support training to middle and high school students is demanded. The Basic life support skills training seems to be retained between 6 and 12 months. The basic life support training should included in the school education curriculum in school.
The purpose of this study was to suggest qualitative improvement through various student-centered curriculum's teaching experiences focusing on physical education. For this, class diaries, memos, lesson plans, student reviews, and videos for the past four years (2017-2020) were collected and analyzed from four high schools in kyonggi-do, and six students were interviewed. The common features between each student-centered curriculum were to have many students with the purpose of entrance examination and with concern about time conflicts between class and their dinner. In contrast, the differences between each student-centered curriculum were the required level of writing lesson plan, the level of interest and role of a class supervisor, and educational expected effect of students under a given condition. In summary, pre-education experience should be required and class activity support and various evaluation methods should be also needed.

135 Degree standard hook workability crossed in the Reinforced Concrete (RC) Structure is improved and it reinforces in one side 90° hook binding. As a result, we proposed a One-touch Rebar Reinforcing Clip(RCC Device) that demonstrates the same performance as the 135° standard hook. It was developed through the evaluation of construction and economic analysis. As a result of analyzing 13 sites applied from June 2020, As expected, most of the cases were applied to the structural supervision or the point of the construction supervisor as an irresistible measure. therefore, Through field performance analysis, Various methods such as the method that the original contractor first purchases and then provides after contract with the partner company were proposed for the use of efficient and voluntary reinforcing clip.
