Effects of Substituting B2O3 for P2O5 on the Structure and Properties of P2O5-SnO2 Glass Systems (P2O5-SnO2계 유리에서 P2O5를 B2O3로 치환첨가 시 구조와 물성에 미치는 영향)

  • $P_2O_5-SnO_2$ system $0.5SnO_2-xP_2O_5-(0.5-x)B_2O_3$(x=0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5) glasses have been prepared for Pb-free low temperature glass frit. A investigation about the effect of $B_2O_3$ substitution on properties of $P_2O_5$ glasses, including glass structure properties, thermal properties, and mechanical properties was presented. Substance that is responsible for in moisture absorption existing circumstances supposes by phosphate, and excess moisture tolerance that state funeral's structure is improved breaking does not affect in state funeral bond that only most single bond remains, and can know that does not suffer big impact in boric oxide anomaly present state. This phenomenon estimates that connect with structure change. It is thought according to link this result the phosphoric acid happened structural change. $B_2O_3$ displacement quantity 0.3 mole put out $BO_4$ structures, but above 0.3 mole it changed with the case $BO_3$ structure which it displaces.

  • Three-dimensional terbium coordination polymers with the formulas of [Tb4(NDC)6(H2O)5]${\cdot}$2H2O (1) and [Tb2(BPDC)3(H2O)3]${\cdot}$H2O (2) (NDC = 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylate; BPDC = 2,2'-bipyridine-4,4'-dicarboxy-late) were prepared by hydrothermal reactions. Both compounds were structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction. Compound 1 has a polymeric structure that contains four distinct Tb metals. Three Tb metals have a square-antiprismatic structure, and the remaining one has a 9-coordinate, triply capped trigonal-prismatic structure. Compound 2 is also a polymer with two distinct Tb metals, both of which have a square-antiprismatic structure. The pyridine nitrogen atoms of the BPDC 2- ligand do not coordinate to the metal centers in compound 2.

  • In this paper, we propose a sound localization algorithm for two simultaneous speakers. Because speech is wide-band signal, there are many frequency sub-bands in that two speech sounds are mixed. However, in some sub-bands, one speech sound is more dominant than other sounds. In such sub-bands, dominant speech sounds are little interfered by other speech or noise. In speech sounds, overtones of fundamental frequency have large amplitude, and that are called 'Harmonic structure of speech'. Sub-bands inharmonic structure are more likely dominant. Therefore, the proposed localization algorithm is based on harmonic structure of each speakers. At first, sub-bands that belong to harmonic structure of each speech signal are selected. And then, two speakers are localized using selected sub-bands. The result of simulation shows that localization using selected sub-bands are more efficient and precise than localization methods using all sub-bands.

Preparation and Structure Properties of LaBa2Cu2O9, LaBa22CaCu3O12 and LaBa2Ca2Cu5O15 Perovskites

  • In this study we examine variations in the structure of perovskite compounds of LaBa2Cu2O9, LaBa22CaCu3O12 and LaBa2Ca2Cu5O15 synthesized using the solid state reaction method. The samples' compositions were assessed using X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis. The La: Ba: Ca: Cu ratios for samples LaBa2Cu2O9, LaBa22CaCu3O12 and LaBa2Ca2Cu5O15 were found by XRF analysis to be around 1:2:0:2, 1:2:1:3, and 1:2:2:5, respectively. The samples' well-known structures were then analyzed using X-ray diffraction. The three samples largely consist of phases 1202, 1213, and 1225, with a trace quantity of an unknown secondary phase, based on the intensities and locations of the diffraction peaks. According to the measured parameters a, b, and c, every sample has a tetragonal symmetry structure. Each sample's mass density was observed to alter as the lead oxide content rose. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) images of the three phases revealed that different Ca-O and Cu-O layers can cause different grain sizes, characterized by elongated thin grains, without a preferred orientation.

  • The title complex, $(C_3H_{12}N_2)[\{Cd(H_2O)(C_6H_5O_7)\}_2]{\cdot}6H_2O$, I, has been prepared and its structure characterized by FT-IR, EDS, elemental analysis, ICP-AES, and X-ray single crystallography. It is triclinic system, $P{\bar{1}}$ space group with a = 10.236(2), b = 11.318(2), c = $13.198(2){\AA}$, ${\alpha}=77.95(1)^{\circ}$, ${\beta}=68.10(1)^{\circ}$, ${\gamma}=78.12(1)^{\circ}$, V = $1373.5(3){\AA}^3$, Z = 2. Complex I has constituted by protonated 1,3-diaminopropane cations, citrate coordinated cadmium(II) anions, and free water molecules. The central cadmium atoms have a capped trigonal prism geometry by seven coordination with six oxygen atoms of three different citrate ligands and one water molecule. Citrate ligands are bridged to three different cadmium atoms. Each cadmium atom is linked by carboxylate and hydroxyl groups of citrate ligand to construct an one-dimensional ladder-type assembly structure. The polymeric crystal structure is stabilized by three-dimensional networks of the intermolecular O-H${\cdots}$O and N-H${\cdots}$O hydrogen-bonding interaction.

Crystal structure, microstructure, and low-loss dielectric property of MgO-added (Ca,Sr)(Zr,Ti)O3 (MgO가 첨가된 (Ca,Sr)(Zr,Ti)O3의 결정구조, 미세구조 및 저손실 유전특성)

  • Crystal structure, microstructure, and dielectric properties of the (Ca, Sr)(Zr, Ti)O3 (CSZT) system has been studied as a function of sintering temperature and MgO addition for microwave applications. A single-phase CSZT powder with the orthorhombic crystal structure was obtained by the solid-state reaction method. The powder compacts were sintered at 1200℃, 1300℃, and 1400℃ respectively. All the sintered samples had a single-phase orthorhombic crystal structure and grain size increased with sintering temperature. In the case of 1 mol% MgO addition, the orthorhombic crystal structure was the main phase; however, a secondary phase appeared during sintering at 1400℃, as determined by EDS analysis. At 1400℃, the undoped and MgO-doped CSZT had almost similar grain size distribution and densification but the grain size distribution became slightly narrow. The MgO-doped CSZT showed excellent low-loss dielectric properties: εr = 34.14, tanδ = 0.00047, τε = -3.58 ppm/℃ at 1 MHz.
