The study aims to explore sequence of earth science content in elementary school science curriculum in Korea and the U.S.. The analysis is focused on a) general content structure of earth science part; b) concept relationship between grades in the specific field of 'geology'; c) longitudinal connection of concepts and content in 'geology.' The findings are as follows. First, earth science curriculum content in Korea is structured according to sub-scientific disciplines centering on not science concepts but topics or inquiry activities whereas the U.S. curricular content is organized through integrative earth science topics with basic concepts and sub-concepts. Second, it is a common feature that basic concepts are interrelated to sub-concepts in all grades in both countries. However, basic concepts are scattered all over the grades, presented in a linear pattern in Korea while those are provided together in 3rd grade and repeated with extended concepts in a spiral structure in the U.S.. Last, it is not clear how concepts and content are longitudinally connected between grades in Korean curriculum. On the contrary, concepts and content in the U.S. curriculum have a strong longitudinal connection between grades with conceptual hierarchy. Such results indicate that Korean elementary school science curriculum would limit students' comprehensive understanding of science concepts through grades. The study suggests Korean science content should strengthen interrelationship among concepts as well as longitudinal connection between grades, in order to achieve the ultimate goal of science education, 'scientific literacy'.
In this paper, we study the concepts of Wijsman lacunary invariant convergence, Wijsman lacunary invariant statistical convergence, Wijsman lacunary ${\mathcal{I}}_2$-invariant convergence (${\mathcal{I}}^{{\sigma}{\theta}}_{W_2}$), Wijsman lacunary ${\mathcal{I}}^*_2$-invariant convergence (${\mathcal{I}}^{\ast}^{{\sigma}{\theta}}_{W_2}$), Wijsman p-strongly lacunary invariant convergence ([W2Nσθ]p) of double sequence of sets and investigate the relationships among Wijsman lacunary invariant convergence, [W2Nσθ]p, ${\mathcal{I}}^{{\sigma}{\theta}}_{W_2}$ and ${\mathcal{I}}^{\ast}^{{\sigma}{\theta}}_{W_2}$. Also, we introduce the concepts of ${\mathcal{I}}^{{\sigma}{\theta}}_{W_2}$-Cauchy double sequence and ${\mathcal{I}}^{\ast}^{{\sigma}{\theta}}_{W_2}$-Cauchy double sequence of sets.
In this article, generalized Sasakian space forms are investigated on W0 -curvature tensor. Characterizations of generalized Sasakian space forms are obtained on W0-curvature tensor. Special curvature conditions established with the help of Riemann, Ricci, concircular, projective curvature tensors are discussed on W0-curvature tensor. With the help of these curvature conditions, important characterizations of generalized Sasakian space forms are obtained. In addition, the concepts of W0-pseudosymmetry and W0 -Ricci pseudosymmetry are defined and the behavior according to these concepts for the generalized Sasakian space form is examined.
In this paper, we introduce and study the concepts of weak $C^f_k$-spaces for maps which are generalized concepts of $C^f_k$-spaces for maps, and introduce the dual concepts of weak $C^f_k$-spaces for maps and obtain some dual results.

This study investigated the type of fashion brand concepts and derived the components of fashion brand concepts. A total of 125 brand concept texts of women's wear brands were collected from "2012/2013 Korea Fashion Brand Annual" (S. M. Kim, 2012). A qualitative research method was employed. To investigate the types of fashion brand concepts, the texts were classified into three types such as functional, symbolic, and experiential concepts, and four complex types such as functional/symbolic, functional/experiential, symbolic/experiential, and functional/symbolic/experiential concepts. Open coding and axial coding provided the components of fashion brand concepts. The results were as follows. First, an investigation of the types of fashion brand concepts indicated differences in the types of fashion brand concepts and the types of general product brand concepts. One content of a fashion brand concept could be interpreted as more than two concept types; consequently, many fashion brand concepts did not fit the notion of the types of general product brand concept. Most fashion brand concepts simultaneously encompassed more than two types of brand concepts at once. Second, the components of fashion brand concepts consisted of 55 subjects, 7 sub-categories (physical/intrinsic product characteristics, symbolic/conceptual product characteristics, target demographics, target consumer behavior, brand capability, brand values, and brand management/marketing) and 3 categories (product, target consumer, and brand).
This study examines the content of vectors and matrices in Artificial Intelligence Mathematics textbooks (AIMTs) from the 2015 revised mathematics curriculum. We analyzed the implementation of foundational mathematical concepts, specifically definitions and related sub-concepts of vectors and matrices, in these textbooks, given their importance for understanding AI. The findings reveal significant variations in the presentation of vector-related concepts, definitions, sub-concepts, and levels of contextual information and descriptions such as vector size, distance between vectors, and mathematical interpretation. While there are few discrepancies in the presentation of fundamental matrix concepts, differences emerge in the subtypes of matrices used and the matrix operations applied in image data processing across textbooks. There is also variation in how textbooks emphasize the interconnectedness of mathematics for explaining vector-related concepts versus the textbooks place more emphasis on AI-related knowledge than on mathematical concepts and principles. The implications for future curriculum development and textbook design are discussed, providing insights into improving AI mathematics education.
Purpose: This study tries to analyze the differences of memory performance and the metamemory of the elderly women according to degree of depression. And also it attempts to find the correlations among the sub-concepts of metamemory which have close relationships to the memory performance followed by the depression. Methods: The subjects of this study are 60 the elderly women who are older than sixty years in Busan city, Korea. We use the MIA(Dixon, et al., 1988) to measure metamemory and measure the memory performances such as the immeadiate word recall, the delayed word recall, the word recognition task, and face recognition. Results: 1. The average point of deprssed elderly womens' metamemory was significantly lower than non-depressed womens' point(t=10.86 p<.0017). Looking into subconcept of metamemory, depressed elderly womens' strategy, capacity, change, achievement point were significantly lower than non-depressed women. 2. In terms of immediate word recall and delayed word recall performances, depressed elderly women are significantly lower than non-depressed elderly women. 3. The degree of depressed elderly womens' metamemory(strategy, achievement, change, capacity) has significant correlations with immediate word recall performances. Conclusion: Metamemory has close relationship with the memory performance of elderly women. And also depressed elderly's sub-concepts of metamemory which have influences on their memory performance are different from non-depressed elderly's sub-concepts. Therefore, when we try to develop some programs to prevent memory decrease of elderly women, we should take these point into consideration.
Objective: This study presents the conceptual framework and the conceptual model to account for user experience by expanding the existing concepts of usability, in particular considering the user-interface environment in digital convergence. Background: To better understand a variety of users interacting with a converged product based on digital technologies, there seems to be a limit to consider the existing concepts of usability. All possible aspects of user's interaction with a product in a context of use need to be taken into consideration. Method: This study identifies the concept of user experience through a comprehensive literature review. Results: First, this study reviews the existing concepts of usability and user experience. And then this study describes four main components in the conceptual framework of user experience: user's internal states, user's external states, a product, and various outcomes, each of which encompasses distinct sub-components. The conceptual model of user experience accounts for how user's internal states change over time and for how different sub-components affect actual behavior of use. Conclusion: It is expected that these user experience concepts can be used in basic resources to better understand different behavioral characteristics of users and to better design interactive products in converged digital environments.
This study examined the relationship between emotional labor, job stress and job performance for 226 social workers. The main results are as follows. First, the degree of attention to emotion expression, a sub-concept of emotional labor, had a positive effect on role conflict, a sub-concept of job stress, and emotional disharmony had a positive effect on role overload and role conflict. Second, attention level, emotional disharmony, and frequency of emotional labor, which are sub-concepts of emotional labor, did not have a statistically significant effect on both job performance and sub-concepts, role conflict, role conflict, and job ambiguity. Third, role overload and role conflict, which are sub-concepts of job stress, have a statistically significant negative impact on both in-role performance and out of role performance.
In this paper, we first introduce and study new concepts of ($k_1,{\cdots},k_n$)-convexity and k-segment. Secondly, we shall discuss some properties of nonisotropically starlike domains in $\mathbb{R}^n$ with respect to the origin.
