Research data was collected in 1992 and 2002 from households living in Seoul that have university student by using questionnaire surveys. Data was analyzed using the SPSS package program. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1) Living room was a multi-function space for various activities: receiving guests, family communication, ironing, sewing and dining as well as a kitchen. Anbang(master bed room) is the place where the couple sleeps. Anbang's function has changed from a multi-function space to a private space. 2) Most of the families performed the majority of the family rituals in the living room and Anbang. In 1992, traditional events and birthday parties were performed in Anbang, but in 2002, the trend has changed. This would mean that with time the majority of the family rituals were held in the living room. 3) Space planning is required to meet the dwellers' use of living room and Anbang.
This study suggests the basic data required in setting up the standard for the architectural planning of Korean senior center by analyzing the standard and current situation of a senior center in Japan that has the welfare facility system similar to that of Korea and understanding its architectural characteristics. 1) Basic spaces that constitute the senior center in Japan are meeting room, lecture room, library, multipurpose meeting room, conference room, game-recreation room, kitchen, lounge, locker room and office. ADL, kitchen, relaxing room, private bathroom, and special bathroom are needed for adult day care as establishments as an annex and work room is also required for Job training. 2) The area of a senior center is calculated in consideration of its space organization that are required as basic. For the type "A", minimum area of 1,256.42 $m^2$2 and maximum area of 2,050.56$m^2$ and for the type "B", minimum area of 812000$m^2$ and maximum area of 1,604.14$m^2$ are suggested as optimum areas. 3) The circulation planning is presented by the connected between the space organization as well as the circulation system in day care center.
In the spatial configuration of room-to-room art museums, openings and walls are important physical factors, and openings are a medium for connecting spaces. Also, by spatially composing walls and openings, spaces can be connected visually and physically, and movements and directions may vary depending on the location or size of walls and openings. In this study, 5 museums are investigated: Sainsbury Wing in London, Gemaldegalerie In Berlin, Alte Pinakotkek in Munich, Neue Pinakothek in Munich, and Staatsgalerie Stuttgart in Stuttgart. Using DepthMap program, the characteristics of visual-spatial composition of each museum are derived by comparing the Connectivity, Visual integration, and Isovist maximum radial. From an analysis of spatial distribution, a relationship with visibility is investigated. The results of this study showed that the combination of visual axial lines affect the spatial configuration of the room-to-room museums. Depending on the location of opening, the museums can be classified as follows: 1) Museums with the 1st visual axial line and the 2nd and 3rd auxiliary visual axial lines ; 2) museums with several equal visual axial lines; and 3) museums with only center axial line.

Methods: The participants of the study were 65 emergency room employees in S area. Results: First, education was helpful if you actively participated in education, and if you did not actively participate in education, education was shown to be of little or no help (χ2(p)= .000 p-value<.05). Second, formal education (53.3%) was identified as the problem of preventive education currently in place of education, and statistics show that the biggest problem with applying emergency room violence prevention education at worksites is a lack of active support (41.7%) from the police and hospitals. Third, 48.3 percent of the respondents thought that the education methods invited experts were appropriate for emergency room violence prevention education. Conclusion: The problem with the current emergency room violence prevention education is that it is necessary to establish a connection program between hospitals and police stations and give lectures by experts in violence prevention education to apply the contents of the educational curriculum in the workplace with one time and formal education.

Analysis program is used the commercial CFD code, Star-CD and DOE-2.1E. The result has been compared by the energy consumption and the temperature contour at the 1 m height of room for each case. Different methods such as the relocation of the existing air-conditioner, the inflow of the ambient air into room, the installation of the forced fan and the cooling system equipment of the duct-connection type have been used to test for improvement of thermal environment. The analysis shows that most efficient method is the inflow of the ambient air into room but auxiliary equipment should be needed to prevent the local thermal spot.

An experimental facility consisting of two 3$\times$4.4$\times$2.8m rooms identical in construction is built. Each room has a control system and storage tank supplying hot water to the radiant floor heating system. The facility enables simultaneous comparison of two different control strategies each implemented in a separate room. The operating performance of three kinds of flow control scheme is tested and compared in this study: (ⅰ) conventional on-off control based on feedback from room air temperature (ⅱ) TPSC(two parameter switching control )(ⅲ) TPOC(two parameter on-off control). Results show that TPSC and TPOC using room air and surface temperature sequentially as feedback signal to control hot water supply is the better temperature regulation scheme than conventional control based on feedback from only room air temperature. They are good candidates for the room with radiant floor heating system under continuous and intermittent heating mode.
