프로젝트 교과목의 이수체계 준수 모델에 관한 연구 (A Study on a Model for Assuring Course Completion Structure of Project Courses)

  • 본 논문은 컴퓨터 정보기술인증기준 KCC2010 공학 기준의 요구사항에 의해 프로젝트 교과목의 이수체계 준수를 보장하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안 방법은 수강한 프로젝트 교과목의 학습성과에 의해 다음 단계의 프로젝트 교과목의 수강 기회가 부여되는 관문 모델을 통하여 프로젝트 교과목의 체계적인 이수를 설명한다. '소프트웨어프로젝트I' 교과목에 대한 평가 결과, 프로젝트 교과목의 이수체계 준수를 보장하기 위해서는 재교육 대상 학생들의 중도 탈락을 방지하기 위한 교과목 담당교수의 세심한 배려와 관심이 요구되었다.

ILS 로컬라이저 시스템 분석 및 전력증폭기 설계 (System Analysis and Power Amplifier Design for ILS Localizer)

  • 본 논문에서는 ILS (instrument landing system) 로컬라이저 전력증폭기의 변조도, 출력, 그리고 위상 변화량 규격의 요구성능을 도출하기 위하여, 시스템의 주요 성능 중에서 course structure와 course width를 연구하였다. Course structure의 편차 규격(± 5 uA)을 만족하기 위한 CSB (carrier with sideband) 증폭기의 변조신호 DDM (difference in depth of modulation) 편차 규격을 ± 1 uA(0.001 DDM)로 규격화하였다. CSB 30 W 전력증폭기를 설계하였고, 변조도 보상회로를 통하여 동작운용 출력범위(45 dBm ~ 35 dBm)에서 SDM (sum in depth of modulation)은 40% ± 0.1%, DDM은 ± 0.0005 DDM의 특성을 얻었다. 그리고 course width와 displacement sensitivity 규격에 대하여 시뮬레이션으로 분석하고, 가장 엄격한 규격인 운용개시 점검시에 적용되는 ± 0.1 ° 변화량을 적용하여, SBO (suppressed with sideband only) 증폭기의 출력변동은 ± 2 mW, 위상은 ± 3 ° 로 규격화하고 특성을 만족하였다. 출력과 온도에 따른 보상회로를 적용하여, 안정적인 변조지수, 출력, 그리고 위상 특성을 얻었다.

이공계 Technical Writing 기본과정 내용에 대한 고찰 (A Study on the Contents of a Basic Technical Writing Course for Engineering Students)

  • This paper emphasizes writing education for engineering students should be communication driven writing education based on KEC2005. Communication driven writing for engineering students is essentially same as Technical Writing(TW) developed on the basis of ABET. Considering the current writing capability of engineering students and social need for various types of writing, TW education should be divided into two courses: basic and advanced. This paper deals with contents of a basic TW course in Myongji University, as a model case of a basic TW course for engineering students. It underlines various methods of prewriting that should be stressed and practiced in the TW class, because the prewriting step in the writing process determines the overall direction and structure of an essay. In particular, this paper introduces Power Writing(PW) which uses the structure of a paragraph as a means for providing building-blocks for the essay, employing logic, and ordering information arrangement in a paragraph. This paper also deals with important guidelines about sentence structure and word selection and proposes various applications of TW such as resume, interview, proposal, report, and presentation as a latter part of the basic course. Finally this paper highlights the etics of writing, such as plagiarism and the basic principles of quotation.

편성물의 역학적 특성과 태 평가 - 2 칼라 자카드를 중심으로- (A Study on the Mechanical and Hand Properties of Knitted Fabrics - Focused on the 2 Colors Jacquard -)

  • The results of comparison and analysis of dynamical features according to Jacquard structure are as follows. Regarding elongation(E) value in tensile property, the value in the direction of course was found to be larger in all Jacquard structure, except floating Jacquard, than the direction of wale. It could be found that, as to bending strength(B) in Bending Property, the value of bending strength in the direction of course smaller in all the textile(structure) except floating than the direction of wale, so that the ability of curve formation is excellent. And in case of floating Jacquard, it showed the smallest value in the direction of course and wale, so that it was interpreted as Jacquard having a soft feel. Blister Jacquard showed the highest value in both directions of course and wale, so that it was evaluated as Jacquard having the hardest touch. With regard to shearing character(G) and shearing hysteresis(2HG) in Shearing Property, Jacquard indicated the lowest value, so it was evaluated as the textile(structure) having high drape the transformation of whose fabric is easy. In addition, normal Jacquard, transfer Jacquard, blister Jacquard showed a high value, so that it could be known they are Jacquards having stiff touch. The study implies that normal Jacquard, bird's eye Jacquard, etc., which well stretch in the direction of a course like tubular Jacquard course, is better to make the margin a little shorter than the basic margin, and Jacquard that well stretches in the direction of wale like ladder's back Jacquard and floating Jacquard is better to make the margin longer and the length shorter than the basic margin.

Participation of Korean Medical Students in Clinical Practice Course in Western Medical School: Case of College of Korean Medicine

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to develop a clinical practice observation course in a medical school that can give Korean medical students opportunities to experience the treatment environment in western medicine, and to analyze the results of the course. Methods: A total of 47 (collection rate: 85.5%) senior students of the College of Korean medicine in Gyunggi-do replied to the survey. Twenty-seven of them were male and 20 were female. They participated in the clinical practice observation course in the medical school two days a week for two weeks (total: four days) in the academic year 2011-2012. Before the course, an orientation was held; and upon the students' completion of the course, they presented their experiences and replied to the survey. Results: According to the survey, the purpose of the course was well explained (91.5%), and the course was necessary for Korean medical students (97.9%). The four-day course duration was inappropriate, though (83%). The female students were more satisfied with their participation in the fourth year and with the timing of the course than the male students were. The students who finished the course at the surgical departments recognized the necessity of the course more than the students who finished the course at the non-surgical departments. The advantages of the course included opportunities to observe operation scenes and experience clinical treatment processes and systems. The weakness of the course included poor organization due to the short preparation period. Conclusions: The course was confirmed as necessary for Korean medical students so that they would understand the treatment environment in western medicine. Through the course, the students broadened the understanding of the disease and developed a strong sense of identity as Korean medical students. The duration of the course needs to be extended, and its structure should be enhanced. Furthermore, various educational programs that offer Korean medical students opportunities to experience various clinical cases need to be introduced.

PLM 입문을 위한 교육과정 개발 (Developing an Introductory Training Course to PLM)

  • Product Life cycle Management (PLM) is an indispensable tool for manufactures to develop competitive products in an efficient way. This enlarges the number of participants for product development who should understand PLM for their supporting activities. However, burdens for developing example products, maintaining complex PLM systems and training prerequisite skills for engineering tools such as CAD systems prohibit an efficient introductory course to PLM. This paper proposes a comprehensive introductory course to PLM that bases on general product development process. In addition, it enables participants to build their example products with familiar Lego blocks and to construct 3D CAD assembly models by using predefined 3D elements. The PLM system for the course provides an intuitive and simple user environment for participants to specify their parts lists, associated 3D CAD models, and product structure of example products. Experiences on a class of the course show it is a valid and efficient education and training method for the PLM introduction.

프로그래밍 제어구조 개념 학습을 위한 오개념 순서도 분석 및 적용 (Analysis and Application of Misconception Flowchart for Programming Control Structure Concept Learning)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the misconception flowchart of programming control structure and to suggest it as a method for improving computational thinking. In this study, we divide programming control structure concept into sequential, iteration, selection, and function, analyze what concept and principle are difficult for each learner, and what kind of misconception flowchart is drawn in the Introduction of C Programming course for beginners' programming learning. As an example, we show that a lesson learned from the process of correcting the misconception flowchart to the correct flowchart in the course.

학습자 중심의 '강의평가' 도구 개발 및 타당화 연구 (A study for development and validation of the 'course evaluation' scale for learner-centered)

  • The purpose of this study was to development and validation of the 'course evaluation' scale for learner-centered in university. The research collected preliminary data from 1,567 university students's responses for item and scale quality analyses, and collected 2,539 university students's for item and scale quality analyses, and 300 university professors's responses for validation. Data were analyzed to obtain item quality, reliability, and validity analysis. The results of the study were as follows; The 'course evaluation' scale for learner-centered in university was defined by 5 factors. The 5 factors were structure and sincerity of lecture, suitability of report and test, level of consulting for student, application of educational media, communication. The results of the confirmatory factor analysis confirmed five sub-scales in the 'course evaluation' scale for learner-centered in university scale. Criterion-related validity evidence was obtained from the correlation analysis as the criterion measures. Cross validity evidence was obtained from the confirmatory factor analysis in university professors.

LED조명에서 MPCB와 FPCB의 방열 성능 비교 연구 (Comparisons of the Heat Dissipation Performances of MPCB and FPCB in LED Lights)

  • In this study, the heat dissipation performances of metal printed circuit boards (MPCBs) and flexible printed circuit boards (FPCBs) used in light-emitting diode (LED) lights were compared and analyzed by performing a heat dissipation simulation using a thermal flow analysis program. The results were summarized graphically. The temperature distribution of the MPCB was found to be better than that of the FPCB, indicating the better heat dissipation performance of the MPCB. For the two FPCB structures studied, we confirmed the LED temperature and temperature distribution by thermal flow analysis and found that for better overall heat dissipation performance, PCBs should preferably have an asymmetric structure. We confirmed the possibility of using FPCBs, which are characterized by a flexible structure, for LED lighting.

문헌조사법의 내용구조에 관한 고찰 (A study on content structure of literature search methodology)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the educational literature search methodology objectives and the content structure of a course in bibliography. The content of this study can be summarized as follows: 1. The concept and domain of literature search methodology, which has traditionally gone by the name of a guide to use of literature and library, are described. 2. The need of incorporating the methodology into regular college curriculum was investigated in view of the ideology of college education. 3. The background, process, and current status of offering a course in the methodology as a part of regular college curriculum were examined. 4. The educational objective of a course in the methodology was set at the successful activities in self study, life-long-education, and special topic research. 5. Considering the fact that technical knowledge and propositional knowledge should be realized simultaneously, that educational experience should go hand in hand with materials and library, and that knowledge should be constructed systematically and logically, the content structure of the methodology were divided into the following six categories: a) the significance of the methodology of literature search b) the college library and the activities of literature search c) types and characteristics of materials d) literature search by catalog e) explanation of basic bibliography f) research and literature search
