A Product Line (PL) is a set of products (applications) that share common assets in a domain. Product Line Engineering (PLE) is a set of principles, techniques, mechanisms, and processes that enables the instantiation of produce lines. Core assets, the common assets, are created and instantiated to make products in PLE. Model Driven Architecture (MDA) is a new software development paradigm that emphasizes its feasibility with automatically developing product. Therefore, we can get advantages of both of the two paradigms, PLE and MDA, if core assets are represented as PIM in MDA with predefined automatic mechanism. PLE framework in the PIM level has to be interpreted by MDA tools. However, we do not have a standard UML profile for representing core assets. The research about representing PLE framework is not enough to make automatically core assets and products. We represent core asset in PIM level in terms of structural view and semantic view. We also suggest a method for representing architecture, component, workflow, algorithm, and decision model. The method of representing framework with PLE and MDA is used to improve productivity, applicability, maintainability and qualify of product.

In this paper, the feasibility of using Shannon's sampling theorem to reconstruct exact mode shapes of a structural system from a limited number of sensor points and localizing damage in that structure with reconstructed mode shapes is investigated. Shannon's sampling theorem for the time domain is reviewed. The theorem is then extended to the spatial domain. To verify the usefulness of extended theorem, mode shapes of a simple beam are reconstructed from a limited amount of data and the reconstructed mode shapes are compared to the exact mode shapes. On the basis of the results, a simple rule is proposed for the optimal placement of accelerometers in modal parameter extraction experiments. Practicality of the proposed rule and the extended Shannon's theorem is demonstrated by detecting damage in laboratory beam structure with two-span via applying to mode shapes of pre and post damage states.
X-ray computed tomography (CT) is very useful for the quantitative evaluation of internal structures, particularly defects in rock samples, such as pores and fractures. In situ CT allows 3D imaging of a sample subjected to various external treatments such as loading and therefore enables observation of changes that occur during the loading process. We reviewed state-of-the-art of in situ CT applications for geomaterials. Two triaxial cells made using relatively low density but high strength materials were developed aimed at in situ CT scanning during hydro-mechanical laboratory testing of rocks. Preliminary results for in situ CT imaging of granite and sandstone samples with diameters ranging from 25 mm to 50 mm show a resolution range of 34~105 ㎛ per pixel pitch, indicating the feasibility of in situ CT observations for internal structural changes in rocks at the micrometer scale. Potassium iodide solution was found to improve the image contrast, and can be used as an injection fluid for hydro-mechanical testing combined with in situ CT scanning.

One of the consequences of the 475 ℃ embrittlement of duplex stainless steels is the reduction of the resistance to localized corrosion. Therefore, the detection of this type of embrittlement before the material exhibits significant loss in toughness, and corrosion resistance is important to ensure the structural integrity of critical components under corrosion threats. In this research, conductivity measurements are performed using the alternating current potential drop (ACPD) technique with using a portable four-point probe as a nondestructive evaluation (NDE) method for detecting the embrittlement in a 2507 (UNS S32750) super duplex stainless steel (SDSS) aged at 475 ℃ from as-received condition to 300 h. The electric conductivity results were compared against two electrochemical tests namely double loop electrochemical potentiokinetic reactivation (DL-EPR) and critical pitting temperature (CPT). Mechanical tests and the microstructure characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) imaging are conducted to track the progress of embrittlement. It is shown that the electric conductivity correlates with the changes in impact energy, microhardness, and CPT corrosion tests result demonstrating the feasibility of the four-point probe as a possible field-deployable method for evaluating the 475 ℃ embrittlement of 2507 SDSS.
Pure bending loading conditions are not frequently occurred in practical engineering, but the flexural researches are important since it's the basis of mechanical property researches under complex loading. Hence, the objective of this paper is to investigate the flexural behavior of concrete-filled rectangular steel tube (CFRT) through combined experimental and numerical studies. Flexural tests were conducted to investigate the mechanical performance of CFRT under bending. The load vs. deflection curves during the loading process was analyzed in detail. All the specimens behaved in a very ductile manner. Besides, based on the experimental result, the composite action between the steel tube and core concrete was studies and examined. Furthermore, the feasibility and accuracy of the numerical method was verified by comparing the computed results with experimental observations. The full curves analysis on the moment vs. curvature curves was further conducted, where the development of the stress and strain redistribution in the steel tube and core concrete was clarified comprehensively. It should be noted that there existed bond slip between the core concrete and steel tube during the loading process. And then, an extensive parametric study, including the steel strength, concrete strength, steel ratio and aspect ratio, was performed. Finally, design formula to calculate the ultimate moment and flexural stiffness of CFRTs were presented. The predicted results showed satisfactory agreement with the experimental and FE results. Additionally, the difference between the experimental/FE and predicted results using the related design codes were illustrated.

This study investigated the feasibility of $CaSnO_3$ particles as an oxygen carrier in chemical looping combustion (CLC). $CaSnO_3$ particles had a perovskite crystal structure and showed the structural stability after repeated reduction-oxidation reactions. The oxygen transfer capacity was 15.4 wt% almost the same as the calculated theoretical value from the crystal structure transformation during reduction. After $10^{th}$ cycles of reduction and oxidation, the oxygen transfer capacity and rate were still maintained constantly at an operating temperature. In conclusion, $CaSnO_3$ particles could be a good alternative material as an oxygen carrier in CLC.

Hybrid & Integrated Beam (HI-BEAM), one of the composite systems, appears to have the advantage of high rigidity of reinforced concrete structures and long span of steel structures. In addition, because HI-BEAM makes the ends of beams from reinforced concrete, it is able to construct ideal composite construction method for effectively joining with reinforced concrete columns and can produce high-quality concrete structures without completing them in the field. Existing studies on the HI-BEAM method are mostly studies on structural aspects or epidemiological characteristics, or studies on the productivity and cost analysis of different structures through case studies, and analysis of actual construction methods is based on actual construction sites. In this study, the economic feasibility of the HI-BEAM method is verified by comparing the productivity and construction costs of the RC-BEAM method (RC-BEAM) method and the HI-BEAM method.
Main cable configurations under final dead load and in the unloaded state and critical construction parameters (e.g. unstrained cable length, unstrained hanger lengths, and pre-offsets for tower saddles and splay saddles) are the core considerations in the design and construction control of a suspension bridge. For the purpose of accurate calculations, it is necessary to take into account the effects of cable strands over the anchor spans, arc-shaped saddle top, and tower top pre-uplift. In this paper, a method for calculating the cable configuration under final dead load over a main span, two side spans, and two anchor spans, coordinates of tangent points, and unstrained cable length are firstly developed using conditions for mechanical equilibrium and geometric relationships. Hanger tensile forces and unstrained hanger lengths are calculated by iteratively solving the equations governing hanger tensile forces and the cable configuration, which gives careful consideration to the effect of hanger weight. Next, equations for calculating the cable configuration in the unloaded state and pre-offsets of saddles are derived from the cable configuration under final dead load and the conditions for unstrained cable length to be conserved. The equations for the main span, two side spans and two anchor spans are then solved simultaneously. In the proposed methods, coupled nonlinear equations are solved by turning them into an unconstrained optimization problem, making the procedure simplified. The feasibility and validity of the proposed methods are demonstrated through a numerical example.
In this study, we compared the operational rates of natural gas, coal, nuclear power and renewable energy based on the data of power generation and power generation facilities produced in summer season(from June to August) during the last four years(2015~2018). Nuclear power and coal power, which are responsible for basic power generation, were guaranteed to be economical as the actual generation capacity remained 60% higher than the cost of power generation. On the other hand, natural gas generation and new renewable energy generation have a very low actual operation rate of 29.5% and 27.3% compared to investments in power generation facilities, making it difficult to lower the cost of power generation. However, coal generation has structural problems in terms of greenhouse gas, fine dust. On the other hand, natural gas generation is relatively low and even though it is safe, it is difficult to secure economic feasibility as it is bound by a peak power system. Therefore, it is only possible to achieve balanced development of energy sources when there is a change in the development policy.
The analysis of citing and cited phrases provides an opportunity to enhance search-centric academic information services. However, most current studies focus only on citation analysis among academic associations, researchers, and articles, making it challenging to develop higher citation-based information services. This study proposes citation analysis service methods using citing and cited phrases. First, to verify the feasibility of suggested services, we have collected the most highly cited articles with specific domain terms and followed their citing relationship; after that, we found formal citation types and ratios in the original articles. And we conducted structural analysis, especially with three topics, "Deep Learning," "Green Energy," and "Aging," and then structurally illustrates the citation characteristics of related articles. Finally, we collected four most cited articles and all their citing ones for each subject from Google Scholar and analyzed the ratio of citation types and citation spread. We hope that various citation analysis studies and information services can be further developed based on our discussion for designing better information services.
