한국과 일본 여대생의 의복행동 비교 (A Cross-Cultural Research of Clothing Purchasing Behavior of Korean and Japanese Female College Students)

  • The Purpose of the study was to compare clothing shopping motives, fashion information sources, evaluation criteria of apparel products, store selection criteria, apparel buying places, and purchasing experience and country of origin place on imported clothing. The total of 371 consumers, college female students in Korea and Japan were sampled in both countries. ANOVA, factor analysis, Duncan's multiple range test, t-test, frequency, and percentage as analysis methods were used. The results of the study were as follows. According to the comparative analysis of clothing purchasing behavior by factors, the result showed that both of them had more personal motives than social ones, regarding clothing purchasing motives. The clothing purchasing motives of students in Korea was higher than it of students in Japan. In the use of information sources, the students of both countries considered the information by consumer very importantly. Next to it, they highly regarded the information by marketer. The students in Korea used all informations more than the students in Japan. In the clothing selection, both of them considered criteria esthetics very importantly. The students in Korea considered 'brand name', 'versatility', and 'pleasing to others' as important, but the students in Japan considered 'price' and 'prestige' very importantly. For store selection criteria, Korean students considered 'duality guaranteed', 'service', and 'their and other's experience' as important but Japanese students regarded 'price' and 'variety of products' as important. A department store was the most highly preferred among clothing purchasing stores. After it, for Korean students, fashion mall, renowned brand stores, discount store were considered in order of preference, for Japan, speciality stores, fashion mall, renowned brand stores are preferred. Regarding imported clothing, Korean students, in order of preference, preferred the goods of America, Italy, France, England, etc. Japan students preferred the goods of America, Italy, China, France, etc.

  • 본 연구에서는 한국과 중국 대학생을 대상으로 의복쇼핑가치 유형을 밝히고 쇼핑가치 유형에 따라 한국과 중국의 대학생들의 의류점포속성 중요도에 차이가 있는지를 알아보고, 각 세분집단에서 한국과 중국에 대학생들에 따라 의류점포속성 중요도에 차이가 있는지를 알아보았다. 한국의 경우 고 관여 쇼핑 집단의 응답자들은 다른 집단들 보다 점포 분위기, 편의성, 판매원의 행동을 더 중요하게 생각하고 있었다. 반면 중국 소비자들의 경우 쾌락적 쇼핑 집단인 다른 집단들 보다 점포 분위기를 더 중요시 여기고 있었으며 고 관여 쇼핑 집단이 다른 집단들 보다 점포 분위기, 점포 서비스, 제품의 구색과 편의성을 더 중요하게 생각하고 있었다. 쾌락적 쇼핑 집단에서 한국 응답자들은 중국 응답자들 보다 서비스를 더 중요시 여기고 있었으며 중국의 응답자들은 점포의 편의성 더 한국의 응답자들보다 더 중요하게 생각하고 있었다. 저 관여 쇼핑 집단에서 한국의 응답자들은 중국의 응답자들보다 점포의 분위기와 서비스, 다양한 상품의 구색을 갖추고 있는지를 더 중요하게 생각하고 있었다. 고 관여 쇼핑 집단에서 한국의 응답자들은 중국의 응답자들보다 판매원의 행동 부분들을 더 중요하게 생각하고 있었으며 중국의 응답자들은 한국의 응답자들보다 점포의 거리와 같은 편리성 부분을 더 중요하게 생각하고 있었다. 실용 쇼핑 집단에서 한국의 응답자들이 중국의 응답자들보다 점포의 서비스, 상품구색, 판매원을 더 중요하게 생각하고 있었다.

The Impact of Traditional Market Properties and Relationship Quality on Customer Value : Approach from the viewpoint of the Means-end Chain Theory

  • Purpose - This study investigated relationship quality and/or loyalty, from the viewpoint that merchants and consumers could develop the traditional market. It reorganized variables to find the conditions of values that could stimulate consumers' motives to revive the traditional market. Research Design, data, and methodology - This study employed 202 copies of effective questionnaires, based on the data of Yang & Ju (2012), to conduct correlation, regression, and structured equation modeling (SEM). Results - The results emphasized product and store atmosphere as store selection attributes to consider in the minimum error correction (MEC) model; service factor was not significant. Further, consumers valued relationship quality in the test of mediated effects of the sub-factors of store selection attributes, including consumers' social and emotional value. The relationship quality significantly influenced consumers' value in traditional markets that needed to improve and develop using several variables. Conclusions - This study revealed connections between attributes, consequences, and values using the causal relation model, to generate an optimal model based on a practical and theoretical background and proposed ways to obtain consumer-related information easily.

대형 할인점에서 식품 선택 속성이 소비자의 구매 후 행동에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Food Selection Attribute on Post-purchase Consumer Behavior in Big Discount Stores)

  • 본 연구는 대형 할인점의 선택 속성이 소비자 구매 후 행동에 미치는 영향을 살펴봄으로써 대형 할인점들의 고객 만족 전략 수립에 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 본 연구결과 다음과 같은 사실이 밝혀졌다. 첫째, 상품 관련 요인은 구매 후 행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 서비스 관련 요인은 구매 후 행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 매장 관련 요인은 구매 후 행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상과 같은 결과를 볼 때, 대형 할인점은 다양하고 개별화된 서비스를 제공함으로써 소비자로부터 신뢰를 얻고, 이용자가 주변에게 소개하는 효과를 얻을 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다.

백화점 의류 바이어의 정보탐색과 구매과업의 유형에 대한 욕구기준의 영향 (The Effect of Need Criteria on Information Searches and Types of Buying Task of Apparel Buyers in Department Store)

  • The purposes of this study were to identify buyers' need criteria on product/vendor selection criteria of apparel buyers in department store and to investigate the relatonships among buyers' need criteria, information search behavior, types of buying task and influential factors on buying behavior of buyers(individual characteristics, organizational characteristics, and customer perception characteristics). A questionnaire was developed to measure research subjects based on theoretical study empirically. The questionnaire was administered to 159 apparel buyers of 11 department stores in Seoul. The results of empirical studies were summarized as follows. 1. The need criteria of buyers on product/vendor selection criteria were classified into five types : vendor characteristics; quality characteristics; price characteristics; brand characteristics; product characteristics and the need criteria differed significantly by influencing factors on buying behavior of buyers. 2. There were no relationships between information types and amounts of information search but information types differed significantly by need criteria and individual characteristics 3. Types of buying task were significantly different according to need criteria of buyers and organizational characteristics. 4. Buying policy of department store was significantly different according to organizational characteristics.

유통점의 배경음악에 관한 연구 (Study on Background Music of Distributors)

  • Purpose - This study focuses on clues that can clearly amplify the effects of background music. Review which store environments have a direct and positive impact on consumer responses, such as purchases. Research design, data, and methodology - This study focuses on clues that can clearly amplify the effects of background music. The purpose of this study is to examine what kind of store environment, combined with background music, has a direct and positive effect on consumer reactions such as purchase, and suggest future research directions. Results - The manager decides to use background music in the store because it is relatively inexpensive and easy to identify the emotional response of the consumer. In addition, appropriate background music lowers the psychological purchasing barriers of consumers. Previous studies have often not conducted a basic review of whether consumers perceive background music when it is used in retail stores. For example, it is necessary to make sure that the volume of the background music is loud enough and that the noise is properly excluded despite the congestion of the store so that the pure influence of the background music on the consumer can be measured. A way for store managers to clarify and differentiate their identity is to create a unique and satisfying store atmosphere for their customers. In order to help customers focus on their purchases, store managers must use marketing elements to integrate the five senses. And they should plan background music aiming at synergy effect of these five senses. In other words, in order to make the store atmosphere positive, it is not enough to have a suitable visual design interior or background music in the store, and consumers should have the opportunity to smell, taste and touch it directly. Conclusions - In conclusion, we hope that the following issues will be studied by several scholars in the future. It should be clarified that the impact of background music on customers varies depending on the customer's movement in the store, the selection of the background music genre order, and the timing (interval) of background music exposure to the customer.

과시소비성향과 정장 수입브랜드선호에 따른 의복구매행동에 관한 연구 (Clothing Purchasing Behavior by Conspicuous Consumption and Imported-Brand Preferences)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine conspicuous consuming tendency and imported-brand preferences based on purchasing behavior of clothing. 464 women living in Seoul were collected for this study. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation analysis, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range teats, and $X^2-test$ were used. As the result, five factors in conspicuous consumption are generated from the factor analysis. Consumers with high conspicuous consumption prefer imported-brand clothing. According to the levels of conspicuous consumption, purchasing behaviors of clothing are significantly different in information usages, clothing selection evaluations, patronage store types, purchasing frequencies, and seasonal clothing expenditure. Finally, clothing purchasing behaviors are significantly different by imported-brand clothing preference in information usages, clothing selection standards, and patronage store types.

주관적 연령에 따른 의복구매행동에 관한 연구 (A Study of Clothing Purchase Behaviors According to Subjective Age)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in clothing purchase behaviors among groups determined by subjective and chronological ages. The subjects of this study were teens and adults of up to 59 years of age residing in Seoul and the Metropolitan areas. Out of 700, 578 were used for final data analysis, Chi-square analysis, ANOVA, Duncans multiple range test and descriptive statistics were used for statistics analysis. The following results were found: the subjects were divided into 3 groups based on the subjective age. All age groups tended to perceive subjective age similar to chronological one. Regarding evaluative criteria for selecting clothes and stores, significant differences were found among all chronological and subjective age groups. By chronological age levels, significant differences were found among subjective age groups except the teens in the evaluative criteria used for purchasing clothing. Significant differences were found among subjective age group in all chronological age brackets in store selection criteria.

여대생들의 의복쇼핑성향과 시장행동 (College Women's Clothing Shopping Orientation and Market Behavior)

  • The purposes of the study were (1) to segment the female college apparel market based on clothing shopping orientation and (2) to develop a profile of each segment regard to fashion life style, information sources, clothing selection criteria, the importance of store attributes and patronage behavior. The data were collected through questionaire by random sample of 526 female college students. By cluster analysis of shopping orientation factors, four groups were identified(apathetic apparel shopper, highly involved apparel shopper, economic apparel shopper, psycho-socializing apparel shopper). Four groups were then compared through multivariate analysis of variance and chi-square statistics on 3 fashion life style factors, 11 information sources, 10 clothing selection criterias, 9 store attributes and 1 patronage behavior variable. Significant difference were found among the four groups on all these variables which indicate that clothing shopping orientation can be a useful base for segmenting female apparel market and these groups are unique in terms of the above 5 variables.

액티브 시니어의 미용서비스 선택속성이 만족도에 미치는 영향 -매장 친숙도의 조절효과를 중심으로- (The Effect of the beauty service selection attribute of active seniors on satisfaction. -Focusing on the effect of controlling store familiarity-)

  • 본 연구는 액티브 시니어의 미용서비스 선택속성이 서비스 만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지, 미용서비스 선택속성과 서비스 만족도 사이에서 매장 친숙도의 조절 효과가 있는지 확인하고 관련 시사점을 제시하는 것이다. 연구를 위한 설문조사는 2021년 10월 10일부터 10월 15일까지 직접 조사 및 온라인 조사를 병행하였으며, 총 188부를 실증분석에 사용하였다. 분석결과, 액티브 시니어의 미용서비스 선택속성은 전문성, 이미지, 서비스 시설 4개 요인으로 구분되었고, 모든 요인들은 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 친숙도는 미용서비스 선택속성과 만족도 간의 영향관계에서 조절효과가 나타나는 것으로 분석되었다. 그러므로 액티브 시니어와의 높은 친숙도를 유지하면서 미용서비스의 서비스, 시설, 이미지를 적절하게 관리하는 것이 중요하리라 생각된다.
