스텝핑 모터 특성에 따른 2축 짐발 안테나 시스템의 미소진동 측정 시험 (Micro-Vibration Test on a Two-Axis Gimbal Antenna System with Stepping Motors)

  • A 2-axis gimbal system is one of main disturbance sources affecting on image jitter response of a satellite. The gimbal system can be rotated on its azimuth and elevation axes, resulting in variation of its moment of inertia and structural modes, so that generates non-linear vibration characteristics. In order to estimate the jitter response, it is an indispensable process to characterize micro-vibration disturbance of the 2-axis gimbal system. In the present research, the vibration characteristics of the 2-axis gimbal system was investigated with respect to the types of stepping motors. The micro-vibration tests were performed for 2-phase and 5-phase stepping motors. The test results show that the disturbance can be reduced with vibration attenuation ratio of 60% by replacing the 2-phase stepping motor with the 5-phase one.

  • A PWM inverter using power FET is developed to switch the excitation current of 5 phase hybrid stepping motor for the use of driving X, Y table. A micro processor based controller is also developed to control the excitation current switching of X, Y axis stepping motor as well as synchronizing operation of Z-axis servo motor. The developed driving control system is applied to the industrial embroidery sewing machine.

  • The claw-pole PM(Permanent Magnet) stepping motor has the advantage of the positioning machine because of a relatively little step angle, facility of control, and detent torque characteristics. Although the research about this motor has been progressed, it was difficult to analyze because of three-dimensional magnetic circuit. This paper performed analysis of the static and dynamic characteristics of the claw-pole PM stepping motor using 3D-FEM(Finite Element Method). We also manufactured the test products and practiced performance tests for verification of the analysis results.

  • 최근 자동제어 시스템의 다양한 분야에서 선형운동용 디지털 액튜에이터인 하이브리드형 선형 스텝핑 전동기(HLSM)의 필요성이 증대되고 있다. HLSM은 기계적인 운동변환기구가 필요하지 않는 직접 구동방식이기 때문에 효율과 경제적인 측면에서 회전형 스텝핑 전동기에 비해 매우 유리한 장점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 가장 많이 연구되고 있는 자속종방향(LFM)형 HLSM의 개발을 위하여 2차원 유한요소법(FEM)으로 최적의 치 형상을 설계하고 추력과 수직력을 계산하였다. 그리고 직접 LFM형 HLSM의 시작기를 제작하고, LFM형 HLSM의 추력 특성을 실험하였다.

  • A comprehensive analytical study of frequency-modulated supply of the dynamic instability in a variable-reluctance stepping motor, is described. It is shown that stability can be achieved by frequency modulation provided that the phase displacement between the modulating signal and the rotor velocity oscillation lies between certain limits. A simplified expression is derived. based on the assumption of high inertia. This model is used to obtain a qualitative understanding of how frequency modulation influences the dynamic stability of the variable-reluctance motor.

  • 본 연구에서는 위의 세가지 보간 알고리즘 가운데서 가장 속도의 균일성이 좋은 DDA방식을 채택하였다. 그리고 윤곽제어에서 가공경로는 대개 직선과 원호 구간의 조합으로 구성되어질 수 있기 때문에, 본 연구에서는 직선 및 원호보간만 고려하기로 한다.

  • In this paper, the Two-Double 1-2phase exciting driver circuit, in order to improving the starting characteristics of Linear Stepping Motor(LSM), is designed. And the static thrust forces of LSM is measured through the chopper constant current method according to the 2 phase, the Double 1-2phase, and the Two-Double 1-2phase exciting method.

  • This paper describes the design of a 2-phase stepping motor driver using CPLD(Complex Programmable Logic Device). The driver IC such as L297(SGS-Thomson Microelectronics), which is mostly used has some difficulties in PWM control because of the switching noise of power MOSFETs. It causes current ripple and acoustic noise. To improve theses characteristics, we proposed a new current control method that the output PWM frequency is almost constant using a digital filter. Also we proposed constant current method for 1-2 phase(half step) excitation. The proposed method is implemented with CPLD(Xilinx, XC9572-PC44). Experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • In this paper, a vibration suppression method using an energy stored in winding inductance and an induced voltage of the Linear Stepping Motor(LSM) is shown, and it is applied to a new one-phase excitation method. And a magnetic equivalent circuit is based on the structure of the LSM, and then the electric equivalent circuit of the LSM is derived by solving equations for the magnetic equivalent circuit. Several dynamic characteristics of the LSM are analyzed by the ACSL with the voltage equations, the force equations and the kinetic equation, and are measured by experimental system.

  • In this paper, the vibration characteristics of a linear stepping motor(LSM) are analyzed using the finite element method(FEM : Flux2D) and ACSL. A magnetic equivalent circuit is based on the structure of the LSM, and then the electric equivalent circuit of the LSM is derived by solving equations for the magnetic equivalent circuit. A normal force is calculated using FEM. And the vibration characteristics of the LSM are simulated by the ACSL with the voltage equations, the thrust equations, the normal force equations and the kinetic equations, and are measured by LASER experimental system.
