Direct Current Control Method Based On One Cycle Controller for Double-Frequency Buck Converters

  • In this paper, a direct current control method based on a one-cycle controller (DCOCC) for double frequency buck converters (DF buck) is proposed. This control method can make the average current through the high frequency and low frequency inductors of a DF buck converter equal. This is similar to the average current control method. However, the design of the loop compensator is much easier when compared with the average current control. Since the average current though the high frequency and low frequency inductors is equivalent, the current stress of the high frequency switches and the switch losses are minimized. Therefore, the efficiency of the DF buck converter is improved. Firstly, the operation principle of DCOCC is described, then the small signal models of a one cycle controller and a DF buck converter are presented based on the state space average method. Eventually, a system block diagram of the DCOCC controlled DF buck is established and the compensator is designed. Finally, simulation and experiment results are given to verify the correction of the theory analysis.

  • 이 논문에서는 IMT-2000(International Moblie Telecommunication-2000)시스템에서의 멀티미디어 트래픽을 전송하기 위한 핸드오프 처리절차를 제안하였다. 이 절차에는 기본 코드채널(Fundamental Code Channel)과 부가 채널(Supplemental Code Channel)을 제어하기 위한 핸드오프관련 메시지들이 포함되었다. 부가 채널코들를 사용하기 위한 협상은 전송되는 트래픽의 크기에 따라 핸드오프 초기화 동안 수행된다. 그리고 MS(Moblie Station), BTS(Base Station transceiver Subsystem) 및 BSC(Base Station Controller)사이에서의 핸드오프 처리를 위한 호 흐름도와 상태천이도 (State Transition Diagram)도 설계하였다.

  • The full Viterbi detector for EPRML read channel system needs large area due to complex computation. There are several conventional methods to reduce the complexity such as GVA(Generalized Viterbi Algorithm) and BMS(Branch Metric Shift). This paper proposes another method, FVD(Folding Viterbi Detector), that has state transition diagram folded with inverted states. Compared with GVA detector, FVD requires only 61% gates and has lower power consumption and better BER performance.

Biased hooking for primitive chain network simulations of block copolymers

  • Primitive chain network model for block copolymers is used here to simulate molecular dynamics in the entangled state with acceptable computational cost. It was found that i) the hooking procedure rearranging the topology of the entangled network is critical for the equilibrium structure of the system, and ii) simulations accounting for the different chemistry, i.e., with a biased hooking probability based on interaction parameter ${\chi}$ for selection of the hooked partner, generates a reasonable phase diagram.

  • The Modeling analysis and design of a high frequency LC-type series and LLCC-type parallel resonant converter oprating in the continous conduction is presented. The state-plane diagram representation of the converter response gives and good insight into the converter operation. A set of characterisric frequency are plotted which design parameters can be obtained.

  • Multi-agent robot system is the system which executes by cooperating with each robots and controlling several robots. Capability and function of each robot must be considered for cooperation behavior. Furthermore, it is necessary to analyze the given environment and to replace complex task with some simple tasks. Analysis of the given environment and role assignment for the given tasks are composed of discret event. In this paper, the hierarchical controller for multi-agent robot system using the petri-net state diagram is proposed. The proposed modeling method is implemented for soccer robot system. The effectiveness of proposed modeling method is shown through experiment.

A study on the Structural Stability about the Fan Blade by the Air Excited Forces. (공기 가진력에 의한 팬 블레이드 구조 안정성 평가에 관한 연구)

  • In a gas-turbine engine, fan blades in flow path are confronted with many kinds of loading. The study of the excited force by the wake of struts has proposed and the possibility of fatigue failure about rotating fan blades by the excited force at the steady state is evaluated. Equations of the excited force of wakes has been derived at the steady state and the maximum pressure distributions measured at the transient state are proposed. Dynamic characteristics and the fatigue strength of fan blades by experimental test were obtained. To evaluate HCF(High Cycle Fatigue) damage of fan blades, FEM analysis was performed with a steady state harmonic response, which was followed by high cycle fatigue damage factor from goodman diagram.
