A Study on the Effect of ESG Activity of Automobile Parts Manufacturing Company on the Job Satisfaction of Organizational Members (자동차 부품 제조기업의 ESG 활동이 조직구성원의 직무만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This study aimed to analyze the effects of ESG management activities of auto parts manufacturers on organizational trust, organizational immersion, and job satisfaction, and to examine the intermediate effects of organizational trust and organizational immersion between ESG management activities and job satisfaction. Research models and hypotheses were established by referring to the theoretical background and empirical analysis of the preceding studies, and 221 questionnaires were secured for members of Busan and Gyeongnam-based auto parts manufacturers C, E, G, and S for empirical analysis. The results of the study are as follows. First, energy saving, regional cluster construction, and compliance ethics management were statistically significant in identifying the relationship between ESG management activities and organizational trust. Second, in the analysis of the impact of ESG management activities on organizational immersion, compliance ethics management showed significant results (+). Third, the analysis of the relationship between organizational trust and job satisfaction showed a significant result of affection (+). Fourth, organizational immersion has been analyzed to have an effect on Jung (+) that is significant for job satisfaction. Finally, the analysis of the parameters of organizational trust and organizational immersion showed that both variables had a medium effect. In conclusion, it was an opportunity for auto parts makers to recognize that they can increase their members' job satisfaction by making efforts to increase trust and immersion in the organization through ESG activities.

  • Recently, the Korean government announced that it would focus on fostering intrapreneurship and corporate spin-off. The government encourages intrapreneurship because it ultimately seeks to develop industries and markets, grow innovative companies, and job creation. In particular, the government believes that enhancing intrapreneurship will reduce the personal fear of failures, expand open innovation by utilizing resources within existing companies related to innovation creation, and lead to new start-ups. Accordingly, this research reviewed the previous studies on corporate entrepreneurship activities and entrepreneurial self-efficacy and briefly looked at the status of global intrapreneurship activities. Based on the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor Adult Population Survey data in 2015, this study conducted a logistic regression analysis with the data of 27 OECD member countries' and Korean respondents. The finding confirms that the personal experience of intrapreneurship could be positively associated with entrepreneurial self-efficacy of the person. Therefore, it seems to be worth for the Korean government considering policies that support intrapreneurship as part of the start-up policy.

A Study on the lives of female politicians of Cheju island (제주도 여성정치인의 가정생활에 관한 연구)

  • The political activity of women is relatively low. This is mainly because of the social-cultural attitude that confines women's role to housewives, rather than the structural problems that are related to political activities itself. This study has attempted to enhance the political activities of women by examining and providing the practical informations related to the hardships that are experienced by women who are pursuing a career both as a politician as well as a housewife. The sample of this study consisted of women who are assuming chief executives positions in organizations that are related to political activity, including local representatives of the national assembly. A case study was conducted by interviewing 8 female politicians. The contents of the study mostly consists of the personal situations (related to house lives) of these women. Semi-structured questionnaires were used, and the interview was conducted several times. First, the political careers of these women tended to start passively, rather than voluntarily. Second, the negative attitudes that were initially displayed by the family members and close relatives had changed positively through out the course of time. Close relatives, parents/parents-in-law were likely to become helpers of child care and household labor. The husband was likely to be a supporter of the wife's political career, and the children started to understand the roles of their mother as they grew up. Third, the female politicians perceived that the main impediments of women pursuing political careers were the sexually discriminating culture, rather than their own ability. Fourth, the fact that these women had to spend a lot of time outside the house has worsened the role conflict and difficulties of these women who are required to assume dual-roles. Furthermore, the difficulties that are faced publicly and privately has increased the psychological burdens of these women, since politicians, in general, are people who need to maintain their public image.

  • These days, the environment surrounding university has been changing rapidly and largely. Especially, the academic entrepreneurship for university spin-offs and wealth creation is being emphasized. And therefore, the importance of industry-academy-research institute cooperation for technology transfer and commercialization is increasing more and more. According to that, government have made various legal system and support the university activities for their autonomous and practical technology use, and one of that core means is to make university establish the special organization for technology transfer and commercialization, and support its activities systematically. This paper aims to study legal system on the special organization for university technology transfer and commercialization in korea. Especially, it is layed emphasis to search the problems and find out the improvement ways about the special organization. For this purpose, the legal system and necessity of special organization in university and other research institute are reviewed in domestic and abroad, the type and operation methodology of special organization in the existing laws are investigated in korea, the operation effects of several organization are analyzed, and lastly the improvement methods for activating the organization are studied and suggested.

  • Action learning takes advantage of innovative management tool but not more to small business than five employees. It is difficult to utilize to them. As a case to solve this problem, this study investigates GNTECH(Gyeongnam National University of Science and Technology)'entrepreneurship training and consulting convergence program. This program is applied to the development and operation of the start-up entrepreneur. Project participants are three groups those are graduate students, undergraduate students and professor. Professor has a role as facilitater. This case has the following meanings. First, by participating in entrepreneurship courses, undergraduate students experience entrepreneurship and mindset can be expected. Second, the start-up entrepreneur has the opportunity to directly verify the item. The consumer's perspective is the use of collective intelligence through team activities carried out in the process. Third, students of graduate and undergraduate has a chance learning facilitator function from professor. The results of this study provide conjunction between university educational programs based on entrepreneurship.

  • In the vortex of change, commonly referred to as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Korea has a national task of changing the paradigm of economic growth from a chase-type economic structure to a leading one. The era has come when all resources of the country, as well as the government and businesses, must join in innovation and growth in order to maintain the pace of sustained economic development, and significantly advanced countries are stimulating members' innovation activities with various policies and systems as they enter the 21st century. South Korea is also making efforts to create an open creative space referred to as Makerspace or Fab Lab, to create an innovative voluntary environment for its citizens. This study explored factors that Makerspace, which is proliferating in Korea, should consider to secure development and sustainability as an innovation (start-up) space. Through prior research, openness and expertise were derived from the characteristics of Makerspace, and expert interviews confirmed that the capabilities lacking in Makerspace and the capabilities to be secured in the future are openness and professionalism. Also, specific components of openness and professionalism were presented through prior research, and implications for each subject's Makerspace were presented, such as openness, professionalism, and commercialization.

  • It was the year of 1903 when avantgarde artists in Vienna gave a birth to the Wiener Werkstaette under the influence of Aesthetic Movement and Guild of Handicraft from England. This study is on the backgrounds of the birth of the Wiener Werkstaette its artis-tic motto and world-wide echo it provoked. This thesis goes back to the time when the decadent Wiener Secession shaped up refiewing the Reform Movement It also covers characteristics works of major members of the Wiener Werkstaette which were produced on the basis of the concept of Gesmtkunstwerk, The conclusion of this study is that : 1. Without losing its own specifc features various fields of formative arts were combinded together coherently and succeeded to realize the idealistic art that is the com-posite are 2. The Wiener Werkstaette was strongly opposed to the ready-made clothes which be-came popular as the society was Industrialized and commercialized. unlike those ready-to-wear clathes those members of the Wiener Werkstaette preferred to make each clothes with different mateirals and printed their own unique pattern designs. 3.As a results of close relationships between the Wiener Werkstaette and paul poiret 'Stu-dio Martine' was established in paris and new pattern deslhns were introduced by Raoul Dufy. 4. After the break-out of World War One cultural exchanges with other foreign countries were vuirtually cut off and the Wiener Werkstaette was disconnected from the influence of Parisl That was the motive for Wiener Werkstaette to start building up its unique artistic style with peculiar materials techniques and methods of productionl Those brisk and creative activities of the Wiener Werkstaette brought forth "the Golden perlod of 1920s" 5. Its historic design and ornamental pattern were assessed as a prelude to the Post-mod-ernism Since the late 1970s with the redis-covery of the culture of vienna in 1900s. the Art to wear which was created by the 'Wiener Werkstaette' but unfortunately tucked away by the Greate Depression and nationalism has been revaluated and studied. In Korea it was since 1985 when 'the art to wear' began to gain attention widely. It is urged that the theory of the 'Gesamtkunstwerk' should be also ac-cepted and shared earnestly.

  • Due to the recent mid- to long-term slump and falling growth rates in the global economy, interest in organizational structures that create new products or services as a new alternative to survive and develop in an opaque environment both internally and externally, and enhance organizational sustainability through changes in production methods and business innovation is increasing day by day. In this atmosphere, we agree that the growth of small and medium-sized venture companies has a significant impact on the national economy, and various efforts are being made to enhance the technological innovation capabilities of the members so that these small and medium-sized venture companies can enhance and sustain their performance. The purpose of this study is also to investigate how the technological innovation capabilities of small and medium-sized venture companies correlate with the performance of knowledge management and to analyze the role of network capabilities to organize the strategic activities of enterprise to obtain the resources and organizational capabilities to be used for value creation from external networks. In other words, research was conducted on the impact of technological innovation capabilities of small and medium venture companies on knowledge management performance by using network capabilities as parameters. Therefore, in this study, we would like to verify the hypothesis that innovation capabilities will have a positive impact on knowledge management performance by using network capabilities of small and medium venture companies. Economic activities based on technological innovation capabilities should respond quickly to new changes in an environment where uncertainty has increased, and lead to macro-economic growth and development as well as overcoming long-term economic downturns so that they can become the nation's new growth engine as well as sustainable growth and survival of the organization. In addition, this study was conducted by setting the most important knowledge management performance within the organization as a dependent variable. As a result, R&D and learning capabilities among technological innovation capabilities have no impact on financial performance. In contrast, it was shown that corporate innovation activities have a positive impact on both financial and non-financial performance. The fact that non-financial factors such as quality and productivity improvement are identified in the management of small and medium-sized venture companies utilizing their technological innovation capabilities is contrary to a number of studies by those corporate innovation activities affect financial performance during prior research. The reason for this result is that research companies have been out of start-up companies for more than seven years, but sales are less than 10 billion won, and unlike start-up companies, R&D and learning capabilities have more positive effects on intangible non-financial performance than financial performance. Corporate innovation activities have been shown to have a positive (+) impact on both financial and non-financial performance, while R&D and learning capabilities have a positive (+) impact on financial performance by parameters of network capability. Corporate innovation activities have been shown to have no impact on both financial and non-financial performance, and R&D and learning capabilities have no impact on non-financial performance. It could be seen that the parameter effects of network competency are limited to when R&D and learning competencies are derived from quantitative financial performance. Conclusions - Although women's economic activity is increasing, women's activities in the field of business start-up are still passive. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of entrepreneurship on entrepreneuship education and the social perception of entrepreneurship. As a result, we found that social awareness, entrepreneurship education, and entrepreneurship all had a significant influence on the intention of entrepreneurship. Positive social atmosphere for entrepreneurship induces interest in entrepreneurship education and forms a virtuous cycle structure that fosters entrepreneurship through entrepreneuship education. In addition, the introduction of diverse programs that encourage entrepreneurship should enhance the attractiveness of promising talent to enter the entrepreneurial market.

The Effect of Technology-Based Entrepreneurship(TBE) Activities on Firms Growth (기술기반창업기업의 기업활동이 기업성장에 미치는 영향)

  • Most technology-based entrepreneurship(TBE) go through an process of decline or disappear without overcoming the valley of death(VoD). The purpose of this study is to identify the growth dimension of TBE and to test the influence of firms activities on firms growth over time. This study identified the two-dimensional growth dimension divided by size and profit through exploratory factor analysis(EFA) of a number of growth indicators. Then, we defined the discrete state of growth firm in four states, divided by size and profit, and five states, including the closure of business. Multi-nomial logit model is used to predict the effect of TBE activities on a discrete state of growth firm(size×profit, closure of business) based on multiple independent variables. The independent variables are based on five representative firms activities: employment, marketing, R&D, financial activities, and general management activities. The growth stage of TBE over time has been categorized into three stages: early stage, middle stage, and late stage of business, taking into account the main periods during which the survival rate of startups sharply decreases. The analytical data of this study was based on the secondary data of the start-up supporting companies of government and public institutions. The subjects of analysis were TBE within 10 years. As a result of the empirical analysis, the employment and marketing activities of TBE show that early and mid-term activities had an effect on the state of firms growth. However, if there is a difference, employment activities have both positive and negative effects, while marketing activities have only a positive effect on size and profit growth. And besides, R&D activities, financial activities, and general management activities throughout the entire process of firms growth were found to be firms activities that have both positive and negative effects on firms growth. In addition, the age of the founder, the firms' industry, and the geographic location of the firms, which are general characteristics of the company, were found to have a distinctive effect on the growth status of the firms according to the growth stage.
