From the flight safety and the performance point of views, a new engine installation impacts an helicopter development or upgrade program significantly. More than a close relationship between an aircraft manufacturer and an engine manufacturer is necessary for the best integration work from the program initiation phase. In this paper, technical cooperation between aircraft and engine companies, and technical supports by the engine manufacturer for the T700/701K engine during the Surion development program are summarized. The applications of official technical program documents, US Mil-spec, France airworthiness regulations as the standard of the engine installation work, and engineering activities at each phase such as contract, design and manufacturing, flight clearance, ground and flight tests are described. This paper would be a cornerstone for the future domestic helicopter development program.

A new concept of collision energy absorbing system for ;he New Oil-tankers with Advanced Double Hull Structure(NOAHS and NOAHS II) are presented through the joint-research pro-gran between Inha and Hamburg-Harburg University. A comparative study on col vision resistance of these proposed side structures with standard double hull structure of 310K DWT class VLCC, is carried out. The fatigue investigation of structural detail parts is also included. It contains a comparative fatigue study based on pertinent regulations of Classification Societies.

The purpose of this study was analyzing with present conditions and content analysis of the parking area for the handicapped people. The researcher investigate to that establishment ratio, accessibility, the induction and guidance, and safe walking passage security, and proper space of the parking area for the handicapped people was established by lawfully. The results as follows. In spite of the regulation established by law, regulations was not established 40% on region government. The parking area for the handicapped people established Properly consider to the accessibility. But the size and height of the stand-up guide plate of the induction and guidance which corresponds in legal establishment standard of the handicapped people. then this research analyzes problems and suggests alternatives of the facilities.

This paper reports a safe and environmentally-benign demilitarization method for the K305 35mm CS gas grenades launcher set(also known as E-8 launcher). The launcher system was disposed by a two-step process; complete recovery of the explosive cords and the gas grenades from the launcher followed by incineration of the recovered items in the APE-1236 Flashing Furnace. All of the 64 grenades within the 16 tubes of the E-8 launcher were safely recovered and incinerated. In this study, 32 sets of the launcher were used to make a standard operating procedure for the safe demilitarization of the launcher system and the 35mm CS cartridges were all safely destroyed in the experimental burning tests meeting the related environmental regulations.

Structures of steel frame buildings getting vary depending on the development of construction technology. Fire-resistant steel beams and Columns accredited by accreditation bodies from the performance of various fire-resistant coating is applied to the current pillar method is most H-beams. H-beam has been proposed a non-load test specifications in the relevant regulations, its scope of accreditation to be granted without limitation of size H-beams from the performance of the test specification. However, in the case of the rectangular steel structure is to check its performance and to a separate one of the receive acknowledge and so take advantage of the cross-sectional shape factor in this study to test the performance of the fire-resistant structure proposed for standard test specimen.

The electric train is a kind of amusement ride and it is installed in a lot of amusement parks. The object of this study was to analyze and to find out of problem about electrical facilities of amusement electric train. For the purpose of this study, we give careful consideration to the technical standard to be Notification of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy and foreign electrical codes and we carried out an actual condition investigation on twelve amusement electric trains from among domestic amusement parks. As a result, we could how that there is discrepancy between the electrical regulations and the actual condition.

In evaluating current environmental protection policy, economists often note that current regulations are more costly than necessary to meet environmental quality standards. While the a priori case can be made that current regulatory approaches entail higher-than-necessary costs to attain environmental standards, there is relatively little empirical evidence to support this claim in Korea. The purpose of this analysis is to supply some of the missing evidence by presenting the results of one study that assesses some of the potential savings associated with implementing economic, rather than command-and-control regulatory approaches to abate one type of air pollution in one region, in Korea, Specifically, the analysis examine the costs of meeting a long-term standard for TSP under the alternative control strategies for stationary sources of TSP in Ulsan Industrial Complex region. The alternative strategies that are considered are current command-and-control and various marketable permit designs. The analysis shows that the most efficient policy of emissions control is economic approaches, supporting results of previous empirical studies conducted in other countries.

The present low speed crash regulations and RCAR test for insurance estimate do not tend to reflect car crash occurred on a road. Therefore, car makers are trying to readjust test standard be similar to a real situation. Passenger cars and SUV vehicles on the market will be subject to this study for car to car crash. In addition, we will discuss improvement of test methods for a low speed crash and direction of bumper design by performing this impact analysis.

This paper represents analysis on domestic technical regulation of high speed power line communications(PLC). Also it gives comparison of regulations for several countries which include U.S., Europe, and Japan. Power line communications radiates harmful interference in below 30MHz. This may intervene other radio equipments. The technical regulation must protect interference and provide clean radio environment. Finally this paper gives the proposal which is drafted by field tests for introducing high speed PLC.

The purpose of this study is to provide a practical guide for optimum residential and useful architectural condition in a regional area. The data has been collected through survey from exist Housing of a Go-sung Gun Toa-Sung Mun area. Those 21 Housing samples are collected, and are analyzed by standard Architectural codes, country Architectural codes and regulations This study has been processed in analysis of the unit planning and codes condition of each housings, and situation analysis through the practical investing. As a results of this study, the Housing floor plan in rural area should reflect user's needs and functional unit plan. Especially, the unit planning have a good residental environments. An instance, laundry and balcony space. These result will become basic data for the future architectural design in the Housing floor plan in rural area.
