  • Problem solving takes place not only in mathematics classes but also in real-world. For this reason, a problem and the structure of problem solving, and the enhancing of success in problem solving is a subject which has been studied by any educators. In this direction, the aim of this study is that the strategy used by students in Turkey when solving oral problems and their achievements of choosing operations when solving oral problems has been researched. In the research, the students have been asked three types of questions made up groups of 5. In the first category, S-problems (standard problems not requiring to determine any strategy but can be easily solved with only the applications of arithmetical operations), in the second category, AS-SA problems (problems that can be solved with the key word of additive operation despite to its being a subtractive operation, and containing the key word of subtractive operation despite to its being an additive operation), and in the third category P-problems (problematic problem) take place. It is seen that students did not have so much difficulty in S-problems, mistakes were made in determining operations for problem solving because of memorizing certain essential concepts, and the succession rate of students is very low in P-problems. The reasons of these mistakes as a summary are given below: $\cdot$ Because of memorizing some certain key concepts about operations mistakes have been done in choosing operations. $\cdot$ Not giving place to problems which has no solution and with incomplete information in mathematics. $\cdot$ Thinking of students that every problem has a solution since they don't encounter every type of problems in mathematics classes and course books.

  • It is a complex project to construct the standard system of sports events. Sports events standard system covers from the implementation plan to the evaluation work after the smooth implementation of sports events, involving many links. Large-scale sports events have extremely high media value. However, the successful organization and operation of large-scale sports events face many problems to be overcome, especially in terms of event safety. Although the organizers and organizers of large-scale events have invested many resources for the safe holding of sports events, violence similar to "football hooligans" in Europe is endless. At present, compared with Western countries, the standardization of sports events in China is low, and there is a problem of a late start and huge difference with Western developed countries. Knowing the construction of the standardization system's situation in China, we have summarized the data related to 15 sports events held in Chengdu is the last 5 years. By analyzing the problems in the process of holding these 15 events and the reflections of participants on the experience of sports events, the problems in the development of the standard system of sports events are discussed in depth. The final conclusion is that the system structure of China's sports events is not so good and athletes have a poor experience. China's sports event system still has many problems. Finally, we built a sports event standardization model using Internet of Things, and after a practical test we found that it has a good effect. Finally, we combined the current situation of sports event standardization system in China and put forward the following suggestions: laws and regulations related to the standard system of sports events must be formulated at the national level. The implementation level must strengthen the degree of integration of sports events and technology. To improve the quality of human resources in the management of sports events. The article puts forward targeted solutions, which play a great role in promoting the perfection and completeness of China's standard system for sports events. At the same time, it also promotes economic development and improves China's international status.

  • This study investigated institutionalized children's behavior problems depending on their cognitive abilities. Subjects were 185 institutionalized children in 15 child-welfare facilities in Seoul (132 preschooler and 153 primary schoolers; 106 boys and 79 girls). Institutionalized children's cognitive abilities were measured using the Comprehension and Picture Completion Assessment, two subsets of K-WPPSI (Park et al., 1996) Comprehension and Picture Completion Assessment belong to verbal and performance scale, respectively. Measures of behavior problems included anxiety, immaturity, social withdrawal, physical symptom, hyperactivity, and aggression. Data were analyzed with mean, standard deviation, and t-test. Results showed that institutionalized children had higher scores in Picture Completion Assessment than Comprehension Assessment. Furthermore, institutionalized children with low scores in Comprehension Assessment were higher in anxiety and social withdrawal than children with high scores in Comprehension Assessment.

  • GA(genetic algorithm) has a powerful searching ability and is comparatively easy to use and to apply as well. By that reason, GA is in the spotlight these days as an optimization skill for mechanical systems.$^1$However, GA has a low efficiency caused by a huge amount of repetitive computation and an inefficiency that GA meanders near the optimum. It also can be shown a phenomenon such as genetic drifting which converges to a wrong solution.$^{8}$ These defects are the reasons why GA is not widdy applied to real world problems. However, the low efficiency problem and the meandering problem of GA can be overcomed by introducing parallel computation$^{7}$ and gray code$^4$, respectively. Standard GA(SGA)$^{9}$ works fine on small to medium scale problems. However, SGA done not work well for large-scale problems. Large-scale problems with more than 500-bit of sere's have never been tested and published in papers. In the result of using the SGA, the powerful searching ability of SGA doesn't have no effect on optimizing the problem that has 96 design valuables and 1536 bits of gene's length. So it converges to a solution which is not considered as a global optimum. Therefore, this study proposes ExpGA(experience GA) which is a new genetic algorithm made by applying a new probability parameter called by the experience value. Furthermore, this study finds the solution throughout the whole field searching, with applying ExpGA which is a optimization technique for the structure having genetic drifting by the standard GA and not making a optimization close to the best fitted value. In addition to them, this study also makes a research about the possibility of GA as a optimization technique of large-scale design variable problems.
