A Study on the Current Issues and System Improvements of Interior Design-Related Law in Korea (국내 실내디자인분야 관련법의 현황과 제도개선에 관한 연구)

  • As the result of investigating domestic interior design (interior architecture) field-related laws, it was found that interior design (interior architecture) is not recognized as in independent area due to weak classification standards by Korean standard industrial classification and job classification. Korean standard industrial classification is applied as a standard setting limits to applicable targets and industrial fields for laws related to general administration and industrial policy other than various statistic purposes. Also, the standard industrial classifications regarding the industry field determines the laws or applicable tax rates, government support and such according to the classification, and thus is very important. Moreover, interior architecture field is largely different from general architecture due to specialization and distinct characteristics, but due to the comprehensive concept of architecture industry regulations, it is considered the proper assessment for the professionalism is not conducted. Also, interior architecture field has irrational contradictions that is not independent with a clear definition and industry field classification not only in legal system and trade customs. Therefore, The following is proposed as the plan to strengthen the domestic/international competitiveness and system improvements for interior architecture. (1)interior design (interior architecture) must be amended as an industrial classification that can coexist with architecture. (2)interior design (interior architecture) must be amended as a job classification that can coexist with architecture. (3)Among the design tasks of an architect, approval for the design task field of interior architecture field must be legislated. -In architect design standard contract (the existing architecture design task scope and quality standard table) of a structure, among the tasks by request of the owner, (1)interior design tasks shall be legislated. It should be legislated so that interior design (interior architecture) majors can be included as well. (4)The task field of interior design that coexists with design must be amended. (5)National contract law - among contract method by negotiation, specialty item must be vitalized.

  • Although the standard 2-CR network filter, one of the filters used for measuring surface roughness, is being used widely in the field of industry it possesses a weak point of causing Phase-distortion when the wavelength is passing through. Phase-corrected filter is used for eliminating these phase-distortion and the difference of phase characteristics between these two filters is thought to have considerable amount of effect on the surface roughness value. Moveover, the definition on this is as yet unclear. Therefore, the Rt and Rz value, obtained when the wavelength are passed through the standard and phase-corrected filters from the same random machine-processed surface, and its standard deviation are compared and experimented in this paper. Also, the ratio of relative bearing curve complying to the phase characteristics of these two filters are acquired. As a result, the use of phese-corrected filter is appropriate in experiments where the form of wavelength is important, and the standard deviation on the same experimented values appeared greater with when using the standard filter. The rate of relative bearing curve became greater as .lambda.$_{c}$, the cut-off value of filter, became smaller.r.

  • Since the definition of pH, $pH=-Ioga_H$ is based on a single ion activity, pH values can not be determined with measurement itself, but require an approximation method. They are derived from EMF measurement of a liquid junction free cell using hydrogen and Ag/AgCl electrodes. Primary standard materials with certified pH values can be obtained with this approximation method. Standard buffer solutions are used to calibrate pH meters. Thus the accuracy of the pH values of standard buffer solutions limits the reliability of measured pH values can be obtained with this approximation method. To certify the pH values, we have established the system for the primary standard measurement and certified the pH of buffer solutions in the range of 1.6∼12.5 pH unit within uncertainty of ${\pm}0.005$ pH unit.

Provision of a Draft Version for Standard Classification Structure for Information of Radiation Technologies through Analyzing Their Information and Derivation of Its Applicable Requirements to the Information System (방사선 기술정보 분석을 통한 정보표준분류체계(안) 마련 및 시스템 적용요건 도출)

  • Radiation technology is the one for developing new products or processes by applying radiation or for creating new functions in industry, research and medical fields, and its application is increasing consistently. For securing an advanced technology competitiveness, it is required to create a new added value by information consumer through providing an efficient system for supporting information, which is the infrastructure for research and development, contributed to its collection, analysis and use with a rapidity and structure in addition to some direct research and development. Provision of the management structure for information resources is especially crucial for efficient operating the system for supporting information in radiation technology, and then a standard classification structure of information must be first developed as the system for supporting information will be constructed. The standard classification structure has been analyzed by reviewing the definition of information resources in radiation technology, and those classification structures in similar systems operated by institute in radiation and other scientific fields. And, a draft version of the standard classification structure has been then provided as 7 large, 25 medium and 71 small classifications, respectively. The standard classification structure in radiation technology will be developed in 2015 through reviewing this draft version and experts' opinion. Finally, developed classification structure will be applied to the system for supporting information by considering the plan for constructing this system and database, and requirements for designing the system. Furthermore, this structure will be designed in the system for searching information by working to the individual need of information consumers.

  • this paper, we propose a flexible, reusable, and extensible HL7 encoding and decoding framework using a Message Object Model (MOM) and Message Definition Repository (MDR). The MOM provides an abstract HL7 message form represented by a group of objects and their relationships. It reflects logical relationships among the standard HL7 message elements such as segments, fields, and components, while enforcing the key structural constraints imposed by the standard. Since the MOM completely eliminates the dependency of the HL7 encoder and decoder on platform-specific data formats, it makes it possible to build the encoder and decoder as reusable standalone software components, enabling the interconnection of arbitrary heterogeneous hospital information systems(HISs) with little effort. Moreover, the MDR, an external database of key definitions for HL7 messages, helps make the encoder and decoder as resilient as possible to future modifications of the standard HL7 message formats. It is also used by the encoder and decoder to perform a well formedness check for their respective inputs (i. e., HL7 message objects expressed in the MOM and encoded HL7 message strings). Although we implemented a prototype version of the encoder and decoder using JAVA, they can be easily packaged and delivered as standalone components using the standard component frameworks like ActiveX, JAVABEAN, or CORBA component.

  • Recently, the lesson plan document that is imported in the educational area is not provided to the educational information systematically, and the teachers are not easy to compose the lessen plan documentation. So, it needs additional time and effort to develope the lesson plan documents. Because of increasing the distributing network. web-based lesson plan system is required to all of the education area. Therefore, we need to compose the lesson plan that is possible to obtain the various teacher's requirement by providing creation, retrival, and reusability of document using the standard XML on web. In this paper, we developed the system for creating the common DTD (Document Type Definition), providing the standard XML document through the common DTD over the lesson plan analysis. In this system, it provides the editor to compose the lesson plan and supports the searching function to improvement of reusability on the existing lesson plan. We design the searching functions such as the structure base, facet and keyword. The composed lesson plans are interoperated with Database. Consequently, we can share the information on web by composing the lesson plan using the XML and save the time and cost by directly writing the lesson plan on web. We can also provide the improved learning environment.

  • USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) is a core infrastructure that u-life use to enable the realization in the ubiquitous society through various services of area such as u-city, u-Health. Therefore, we need a research for domestic standards to establish USN technique. Currently, status of USN standards is most standard and research that it is a technology for sensor node implementation and a protocol for energy-efficient communication and interlock with existing network. But, Standard and research for sensor network and integration management of heterogeneous sensor networks for USN application and sensing data management and USN database structure definition such as application and middleware is weak level. In this paper, we researched for standard development of domestic a sensor network and the relevant standard analysis to configure SWE(Sensor Web Enablement) of OGC(Open Geospatial Consortium) for standarded plattform technology. Also we researched that it's a connection between domestic ITA(Telecommunications Technology Association) standards and SWE Standard.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the legal status of enterprise disaster management standards established as part of business continuity management and to ensure resilience, and to improve the problem of application of industry disaster management standards in related industries. Method: We collected relevant data for the study and conducted a literature review on the logistical definition of laws and academic systems such as constitution and enterprise disaster reduction law, and HLS structure. Results: It has been confirmed that the enterprise disaster management standards in the Enterprise Disaster Management Standard are higher in the legal status than the ISO 22301: 2012 international standard. Conclusion: Through this study, it is necessary to establish a development direction of application and related regulations by clarifying the enterprise disaster management standard according to the enterprise disaster reduction law.

  • Many presentations of documents are rejected because credits have been incorrectly issued. One reason of rejecting the documents is related with error in application stage of L/C. Errors may take the form of mismatches between the terms of the sales contract and the provisions stipulated in the credit. Thus, Article 5 encourages applicants to make their contribution to the smooth running of the letter of credit process by being unambiguous and brief. Another reason that the banks reject the documents relates to the ambiguity of the term "International Standard Banking Practice" That is to say, UCP500 Art.13 introduced the term "International Standard Banking Practice"(ISBP) without the definition so that one wonder what ISBP is or how ISBP apply in daily work of bankers, examination of documents. From hence, International Chamber of Commerce(ICC) started the work to document ISBP at May 2000, finally approved the result last year and published the publication titled "International Standard Banking Practice for the examination of documents under documentary credits." By applying ISBP in document examination stage, I expect that the freqency of rejecting the documents grow less and bankers' work of examination become easy. On the other hand, ISBP is supplement to UCP500 so that the interpretation of ISBP is made on the basis of understanding of UCP and its underlying principles. So, I reviewed each paragraphs of ISBP on this basis and tried to indicate contradiction between ISBP and UCP500. But because of reading not enough, I failed to search the connotative sense many paragraphs have.

Survival of Rectal Cancer in Yazd, Iran

  • Background: Colorectal cancer is common in Iran. However our knowledge about survival of rectal cancer in our province is low. The aim of this study is to evaluate this question. Materials and Methods: Patients with documented pathology of adenocarcinoma of the rectum and rectosigmoid junction referred to our center from September 2004 to September 2012 were enrolled in this study. Metastatic and recurrent patients were excluded. A questionnaire including clinicopathologic parameters, quality and sequence of treatment modalities was filled in for each patient. Patients treated with a combination of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy were divided into standard and non-standard treatment groups, according to the sequence of treatment. Results: One hundred and nineteen patients were evaluated. Mean age was 60.8 year. The median overall survival was 62 months and five year survival was 55%. TNM staging system was not possible due to (Nx) in 21 (17.6%) patients. The others were in stage I, 20 patients (16.8%), II, 35 (29%.5) and III, 43(36.1%). According to our definition only 25 patients (21%) had been treated with standard treatment and 79% had not received it. A five year survival in patients with standard treatment was 85% and in the non-standard group it was 52%.Age, sex, stage and grade of tumor did not show any significant relation to survival. Conclusions: Our study showed a five year survival of rectal cancer in our patients was about 10% lower than the rate which is reported for developed countries. Preoperative concurrent chemoradiation significantly improved local control and even overall survival.
