  • This paper proposes a unit commitment scheduling method based on Genetic Algorithm(GA). Due to a variety of constraints to be satisfied, the search space of the UC problem is highly nonconvex, so the UC problem cannot be solved efficiently only using the standard GA To efficiently deal with the constraints of the problem and greatly reduce the search space of the GA, the minimum up and down time constraints are embedded in the binary strings that are coded to represent the on-off states of the generating units. The violations of other constraints arc handled by integrating penalty factors. To show the effectiveness of the GA based unit commitment scheduling, test results for system of 5 units are compared with results obtained using Lagrangian Relaxation and Dynamic Programming.

레이저침 시술에 사용되는 레이저 기기의 적용 범위에 대한 고찰 (The Spectrum of Laser Instruments for Laser Acupuncture Application)

  • Objectives : During the past three decades there has been a significant evolution of laser acupuncture application in the nature of the clinical approach and the research of traditional medicine and laser therapy field. However, there have been no standard and guideline of laser equipment can be applied as laser acupuncture. This study aims to investigate the condition of laser equipment required as a laser acupuncture method. Methods : First, we performed literature search using the Medline(from 1999 to Oct 2008) to confirm types and ranges of laser equipments that can be applied as laser acupuncture. In addition, we investigated the characters of acupoints such as sites and depths, and compared with penetrating depths of each laser. Results : A total of 37 articles for clinical studies using laser acupuncture were selected, and 41 lasers were used. GaAs laser was used three times, GaAlAs laser 14, InGaAlP 18, HeNe laser 4, and Argon laser and CO2 laser were used one time, respectively. From all 361 points of fourteen meridians, depths of 341 points(94.5%) were 1 cun(2.3-3.2cm) or less. The mean depth of all points was 0.48 cun(1.1-1.5cm). Hence, it appeared that the majority of therapeutic lasers satisfied with the condition. HeNe, InGaAlP, GaAlAs, GaAs lasers are recommended for laser acupuncture, however, it may plausible that other surgical lasers could be used as the laser acupuncture, because it have the biostimulation effect to some extent, too. Conclusions : It is suggested that to select appropriate laser type and give the adequate output power to reach the acupoints under the skin using laser acupuncture. Further evaluation and research for the condition of laser acupuncture are warranted.

초산을 이용한 글루타민산의 발효생산에 관한 연구 (제2보) 글루타민산 생성을 위한 발효조건 (Studies on the Bacterial Production of L-Glutamate from Acetate Part II. Cultural Conditon)

  • 초산으로 부터의 글루타민산 발효생성을 목적으로 Brevibacterium flavum nov. sp. D2209B 균주를 이용한 발효조건에 관하여 시험 검토한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 초산농도는 배지 l 당 30g 하일 때 L-GA생성이 좋았다. 2. KH$_2$PO$_4$, MgSO$_4$, FeCl$_3$, MnC1$_2$ 및 NaCl 등의 무기염류의 침가는 L-GA 생성을 위하여 필수적이며 이들 무기염의 농도차에 의한 현저한 영향은 볼 수 없었다. 3. Biotin의 농도는 l당 0.3r 이하의 한정된 범위에서 L-GA 생성이 가장 좋았다. 4. L-GA 생성을 위한 최적온도는 3$0^{\circ}C$이며 최적 pH는 7.5~8.5 였다 5. Succinic acid와 malic acid의 첨가로 L-GA 생성은 증가되었다. 6. 배양도중에 있어서의 penicillin 첨가는 L-GA생성을 촉진하며 발효 16시간째 배지 l당 20 unit를 첨가하였을 때 가장 효과적이였다. 7. 전배양시간은 16~20시간 배양이 가장 적당하였다.

종가 제례음식의 적(炙)에 관한 연구 (Study on Jeok of Jong-ga Ancestral Ritual Food)

  • This research intended to conduct literary research on 'Jeok' of 25 jong-ga through Jong-ga Ancestral Ritual Formalities and Food, published by the Cultural Heritage National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage during 2003~2008, and compared and analyzed an arranging method and recipe transmission process by directly visiting four Jong-ga. Religious ceremony foods of Jong-ga could be divided according to the standard of the hakpa attribute (large), regional attribute (midium), and family attribute (small), which forms a complex connection structure between the attributes. 'Jeok' arranging form is divided into '3-Jeok building method (vertical structure)', '3-Jeok arrangement method (horizontal structure)', '3-Jeok replacement method', '2-Jeok arrangement method', 'Jeon-Jeok arrangement method', and 'Others-Jeok arrangement method'. Generally, 'jeok' arrangement order per hakpa is in the order of 'meat jeok - chicken jeok - fish jeok' in case of Gihohakpa, whereas Yeongnamhakpa is in the order of 'fish jeok - meat jeok - chicken jeok'. Umoringye (羽毛鱗介), the method of laying 'dojeok' of the Gyeongbuk region, could be found in the 2nd century B.C. Chinese ancient book Hoenamja and the theoretical background was Yin and yang philosophy (陰陽論). This research has significance in terms of securing advanced results compared to advanced research that has so far concentrated on some regions and hakpas.

1.9GHz CMOS RF Up-conversion 믹서 설계 (Design of 1.9GHz CMOS RF Up-conversion Mixer)

  • 회로 시뮬레이터인 SPICE를 이용하여 1.9GHz 대역의 CMOS up-conversion 믹서를 설계하였고, 회로 설계를 위한 시뮬레이션 과정을 소자 모델링을 포함하여 상세히 설명하였다. $0.5{\mu}m$ 표준 CMOS 공정을 이용하여 칩을 제작한 결과, 제작된 칩의 특성과 초기 시뮬레이션에 의해 예상되는 특성 사이에 큰 차이점이 발견되어 이에 대한 원인 분석을 시도하였다. 발견된 문제점들을 고려한 경우의 시뮬레이션을 통해 시도한 시뮬레이션 방법의 타당성을 증명하였고, 이러한 문제점들을 보완할 경우 사용한 표준 CMOS 공정으로도 GaAs MESFET 공정을 사용한 유사 칩의 특성에 근접하는 칩 특성의 구현이 가능함을 보였다.

New Record of the Birdbeak Burrfish Cyclichthys orbicularis (Pisces: Diodontidae), in Korea

  • A total of six specimens (57.03-100.72 mm in standard length) belonging to the family Diodontidae were collected around Jeju Island, Korea between July and August 2013. On the Basis of morphological and molecular analyses, we identified the specimens as Cyclichthys orbicularis (Bloch, 1785), a new record to the Korean fish fauna. Morphologically, the species is characterized by nine caudal fin rays, immovable spines on the head and body except the caudal peduncle, and small black spots dorsally. Some morphometric characters changed disproportionately with growth, which was a new finding. Caudal peduncle length, body width and preanus length to standard length tend to grow at a rate different from that of overall growth. When the 601 base pairs of mitochondrial DNA cytochrome c oxidase subunit I sequences of our specimens were compared with those of other diodontid fishes, our specimens clustered tightly around C. orbicularis (d = 0.000-0.002) in an NJ tree, with a high bootstrap value (99%). We herein describe the morphological and molecular traits of the specimens, and propose a new Korean name, "gud-ga-si-bok-sok" for the genus Cyclichthys, and "dung-geun-gud-ga-si-bok" for C. orbicularis.

[InAs/GaSb] 응력 초격자에 기초한 [320×256]-FPA 적외선 열영상 모듈 제작 (Fabrication of [320×256]-FPA Infrared Thermographic Module Based on [InAs/GaSb] Strained-Layer Superlattice)

  • InAs/GaSb 제2형 응력초격자(SLS)를 활성층에 탑재한 [$320{\times}256$] 초점면 배열(FPA) 적외선 열영상 모듈을 제작하고 열영상을 구현하였다. p-i-n형으로 설계된 소자의 활성층(i) 구조는 300 주기의 [13/7]-ML [InAs/GaSb]-SLS로 구성되어 있고, p와 n 전극층에는 각각 60주기의 [InAs:Be/GaSb]-SLS와 115 주기의 [InAs:Si/GaSb]-SLS 구조를 채용하였다. 시험소자의 광반응(PR) 스펙트럼으로부터 피크 파장(${\lambda}_p$)과 차단 파장(${\lambda}_{co}$)은 각각 ${\sim}3.1/2.7{\mu}m$${\sim}3.8{\mu}m$이고 180 K 온도까지 동작을 확인하였다. 단위 화소의 간격/메사는 $30/24{\mu}m$ 규격으로 설계되었으며, [$320{\times}256$]-FPA는 표준 광묘화법으로 제작하였다. $18/10{\mu}m$의 In-bump/UBM 공정과 flip-chip 결합 기술을 적용하여 FPA-ROIC 열영상 모듈을 완성하였으며, 중적외선용 영상구동 회로 및 S/W를 활용하여 열영상을 시연하였다.

가양 모듈러 실증단지의 MC설계표준화 기준 적용 및 실태조사 연구 (A Study on Application of MC Design Standardization Standard and Current Status in Ga-Yang Modular Housing)

  • The modular apartment has been completed for the first time in Korea through the national research and development (R&D) project in December 2017, and 30 households moved in. Although conditions such as technicality and constructability have to be satisfied to adopt and spread the modular apartments in the future, economic feasibility is the most important factor among the conditions. The economic feasibility of modular apartments can be compared with that of existing reinforced concrete (RC) structure apartments. It is highly important to reduce the construction cost through standardization above all. The standardization refers to establishment of national design standards and principles, and it is important for manufacturers and building companies to comply with those standards and principles. The modular construction (MC) skill in Korea is at an early adoption stage and the MC market is not widely expanded yet. Thus, the application of the MC design, which is the basis of the standardization, has not been widely accepted. However, related R&D projects are now performing mainly by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport to promote modular apartments in recent years and the design standardization standard (draft) is now prepared to be notified as a result of the steady research. Furthermore, pilot complexes for demonstration purpose are under construction, starting from public rental apartments. Thus, MC method-applied public rental houses will be spread in near future. This study aims to investigate the current design status in the Ga-Yang Housing as a pilot modular complex to produce and supply more economical and efficient modular houses, and analyze the problems by comparing the design standardization standards with pre-notified design standardization standards and summarize the modifications between them thereby presenting foundational data for establishment of the design standardization in the modular business industry.

태아 생체지표 국가별 차이분석 및 임신주수 예측의 2차 회귀모형 설계 (Fetal Bio Index Difference Analysis by Country and Quadratic Regression Model Design for The Gestational Age Prediction)

  • 태아 생체지수 계측의 표준 값은 과거와 현재, 대상 인구의 일반적 특성에 따라 다르게 적용되어야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 한국인 태아 신체 계측 값을 바탕으로 임신주수를 예측하고 나라별 차이를 분석하여 태아 성장평가의 기초자료로 활용하고자 하였다. 초음파를 이용하여 계측된 임신주수 15~38주 사이 총 480명의 태아 신체 지표 값을 일본, 미국 자료와 비교하여 후향적으로 연구하였다. 국가별 차이분석은 일원배치 분산분석을 이용하였으며 한국인 태아의 표준 값을 정의하기 위해 태아 신체 지표들의 임신주수 예측 2차 회귀모형을 설계하였다(p<0.005). 95% 신뢰구간 내 평균차이에서 양쪽마루뼈지름(BPD)은 한국과 미국 0.17, 한국과 일본 0.11, 복부둘레(AC)는 한국과 미국 -0.35, 한국과 일본 0.42, 대퇴골길이(FL)는 한국과 미국 -0.18, 한국과 일본 0.14로 나타났다. 결과적으로 임신주수 예측의 태아 신체 계측 지표는 서양인과 아시아인과의 인종간의 차이를 고려하여 국가별 정확한 기준을 태아 성장 평가의 표준 값으로 적용해야 할 것으로 판단된다.

위가실(胃家實)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) ('Study on Oui-Ga-Sil( 胃家實 )')

  • About Oui-Ga-Sil(胃家實) in order to considerate the contents recorded in Nai-Gyung Sang-Han-Lon and latter literature, definition, etiopathology, syndrome, differential diagnosis, therapy, Prognosis and prevention were classified. And the results were as follows: 1. Oui-Ga(胃家)was a term which indicated the whole digestive system such as stomach, small intestine, large intestine, rectum and anus. Sil(實)could be defined as the peculiar concept pertaining to the acute and last stage which was invaded to inside bowels because of abundance with evil influence. 2. Eliology of Oui-Ga-Sil was abunt gastric fever originally, injured mucus because of mistreatment, the invasion to inside of outside evil influence through meridian. Pathology was the opening and shutting appearance of gastric abundance with intestinal emptiness, and intestinal abundance with gastric emptiness, Oui-Ga-Sil could be occurred because of gastric abundant dryness and splenic humidifying capacity decrease. 3. Symptom of Oui-Ga-Sil was classified as for the sunlight outside syndrome and the inside abundant syndrome. The sunlight outside syndrome was body fever, sweating, no chilling, on the contrary hatred of fever. The chief complaint of inside abundant syndrome was daily fever, talking in delirium, hand and foot sweating, abdominal distention, difficult defection and those could be pertained to sunlight bowel syndrome. 4. Diagnostic views of Oui-Ga-Sil were that pulse was descending abundant large strong and smooth quick, a coated tongue was yellow, deep yellow, old yellow, thick, scorching dry rough or gray black. On abdominal diagnosis, pressing by hand, patient was conscious of pain, excessive pain, rejection against press, impossible press or intermittent abdominal pain and bowel cutting pain without press. 5. Differential diagnosis was that the sunlight of Nai-Gyung-Fever-Theory was outside desease making meridian the prime object, Baik-Ho-Tang syndrome was making figureless abundant fever the pivotal point. And important differential standard of splenic shrink syndrome was that a daily fever, an irritation with fever were not occurred. 6. Theory of Oui-Ga-Sil was that Seng-Gi-Tang classes had been used in attacking downward or making balance, and moxibustion on Jung-Wan, honey boiling induction theory had been also used. Attacking downward therapy was invigorating method to preserve mucus, and if mucus had been exausted with complicating emptiness prognosis had been appeared badly. 7. Preventing from Oui-Ga-Sil diet by rule, fitness to cold and warmth may be needed to prevent outside evil influence attack and inside evil influence occurrence. Prudence with being very busy, fatigue, wine and woman may be also needed not to be an injury to splanic and gastric spirit.
