  • The purpose of the study is to survey the current state of tween generation boys' clothing-wearing, to identify problems in the current apparel sizing system, and to contribute to the improvement of the fitness of ready-made clothes. 1. According to the result of surveying the current state of clothing-wearing, boys prefer casual wear and, as they grow old, they tend to purchase clothes alone or in company with their friends. In addition, they use mainly easy casual wear or sports wear stores. They appear to be highly dissatisfied with price and size and think that the fitting of coats, pants and jackets is poor. Moreover, they complain about sizes such as waist circumference, pants length and upper-arm circumference. 2. According to the result of comparing apparel sizing system with body measurements, the waist circumference and hip circumference of young casual wear are fit to the large size of body at the age of 12 and the over-average size of body at the age of 13 and 14, but its bust circumference is fit only to the extra-large size of body at the age of 13 and 14. Such results come from differences in body shape between adults and adolescents. Although adolescents' body size has been enlarged, their body line is still immature and, accordingly, their drop-value is smaller than that of adults, which appears to cause adolescents to be highly dissatisfied with fitting.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the public perception of Gorpcore through Big Aata analytics. The study was conducted based on the collection of Big Data on the word 'Gorpcore' through Textom from July 24, 2017 to March 31, 2023. As a result, 63,386 words were collected from a total of 18,879 posts, and the top 50 words were determined based on frequency of appearance. Based on the collected words, centrality measures and CONCOR algorithm were performed in Ucinet 6. The research results are as follows. 1) The frequency of appearance was high in the order of 'Gorpcore look', 'fashion', 'coordination', 'clothes', 'outdoor', 'Musinsa', 'look', 'trend', 'brand' and 'ahjussi (middle-aged old man in Korean)'. These words had high TF-IDF scores, which leads to the conclusion that these are key words that are recognized as important. 2) Network centrality shows that 'Gorpcore look', 'fashion', 'outdoor', 'coordination', 'clothes', 'trend', 'look' and 'style' have a high correlation with other words. Through this, it was found that the public thinks it is important to create a variety of fashions by styling high-performance outdoor wear and casual wear, and that they are highly interested in clothes and in brands leading the Gorpcore trend. 3) As a result of the CONCOR algorithm, four significant groups were formed. The words that appear in each group are as follows. Group 1 - 'outdoor', 'Gorp', 'Normcore', 'hiking', 'functionality', 'new', 'sports', 'casual wear', 'activity', 'generation', 'collaboration'. Group 2 - 'fashion', 'trend', 'look', 'brand', 'style', 'shoes', 'ugly', 'item', 'trend', 'product', 'Salomon', 'padded jacket', 'stylishness', 'utilization', 'Winter', 'street', 'design', 'retro', 'popular', 'styling'. Group 3 - 'Gorpcore look', 'coordination', 'Musinsa', 'windbreaker', 'recommendation', 'Arcteryx', 'pants', 'man'. Group 4 - 'clothes' 'ahjussi', 'jacket', 'launching', 'spring', 'The North Face', 'collection', 'utility', 'jumper'. As a result, it can be seen that the Gorpcore is also regarded as a part of outdoor, fashion, coordination, and casual wear.

  • Nylon fabric is widely used in stocking, inner wear, sports wear, and casual wear, but has a defect of easy electric static charging. Accordingly there has been great demand for the hydrophillic finishing technology that could be applied to nylon fiber more easily and efficiently. In this study, ethoxylated hexylantinoanthraquinones were exhausted onto nylon from aqueous bath, and hydrophillicity of the nylon was discussed. In the treatment of nylon fabrics with ethoxylated hexylaminoanthraquinones, they were successfully exhausted onto nylon fabric without any aid of chemical auxiliary. The hydrophilicity of the dyed nylon fabrics were increased with the length of ethoxylate chain. The durability of antistatic and hydrophilic characteristics was good enough as to maintain the initial properties even after 30 repeated launderings.

Functionalism in the 1990s has been developed in different ways from the analogies in the beginning of the 20th century. It doesn't belong to an analogy but has the fused characteristics. It can be classified into techno functionalism influenced by new technology Pure functionalism related to minimalism. casual functionalism for those who are crazy about the speed and sports and enjoy the freedom and comfort and symbolic functionalism. Mechanical analogy has been developed into techno functionalism. Pure functionalism has come from the blend of mechanical and moral analogy, casual functionalism from mechanical. organic and moral analogy. and symbolic functionalism from organic and moral analogy. Since fashion design has much closer relation to human body and movements. it has been expressed considering a division of men and women and the places and times for the designs more than other designs. More casual manners of formal wear are distinct elements in functionalist fashion design in the 1990s. The 20th century general cultural phenomena including post modernism can be explained by eclectic functionalism. Functionalism considering Practical and conceptional functions ill continue and techno functionalism and casual functionalism in future fashion design will be expressed more strongly with new technology and casual trends of life style.
