In his recent book, D.H. Kim proposes to use the quasi-isotropic constants by Tsai for the preliminary design of the composite primary structures for the civil construction. Such structures generally require a large number of laminae layers. Simple equations which can predict "exact" values of the buckling strength, the natural frequency of vibration, and the deflection for the special orthotropic laminates are presented. Many laminates with certain orientations lave decreasing values of B$\_$16/ and B$\_$26/ as the number of plies increases. Such laminates, with D$\_$16/=D$\_$26/\longrightarrow0, including the laminates with anti-symmetric configurations can be solved by the same equation for the special orthotropic laminates. If the quasi-isotropic constants are used, the equations for the Isotropic plates can be used. Use of some coefficients can produce "exact" value for laminates with such configuration.

Various kinds of ships(Cargo ship, Passenger ship, Training ship, Special ship etc.) are operated to transport cargo or passengers at sea in the world. Most of the important auxiliary machinery which is installed are fluid machinery in those ships. A large percentage of fluid machinery is pumps which are classified turbo and non-turbo type. While much previous research has focused on pumps for shore use, very little is known about ship's pump. In order to develop an understanding of ship's pump, we introduce common pumps used in every ship and special pumps based on ship's type. This exploratory study lays the groundwork for further investigation of ship's pumps

The main purpose of this study is to obtain information on users' socio-economic characteristics, pattern of main use activities, and visit motivation in recreation forests. From June to September in 1994, respondents were selected 548 adults more than 18 years old from 6 recreation forests which were classified 3 recreation forest types as 2 recreation forest in national forest, 2 in public forest, and 2 in private forest. Analysis of data was conducted through frequency and factor analysis. The most of noticeable characteristics of users were rather 30's age group, high education level, company workers, city residents. The major preference activities in recreation forest were resting, enjoying green shower, and walking. In 24 items of visit motivation, resting, releasing stress, enjoying in a cool forest & valley, and contacting close to nature were high preference, while buying special product, and contacting close to nature were high preference, while buying special product, having enough and to money, observing wildlife, and training body & mind were low preference. The remarkable difference in 3 recreation forest types didn't present. Eight dimensions of motivation were classified through factor analysis.

The purpose of this study was to examine the physical environmental readiness for smart learning and the actual utilization of smart devices by special education teachers, and to suggest ways to vitalize smart education. For this, a 14-item survey questionnaire was developed, which touched upon issues regarding the availability of wireless internet service and teachers' utilization of smart devices. An online survey was conducted among a randomly chosen sample of 991 special education teachers across the nation, including teachers who work at special schools for developmentally disabled students and in special classes at all three levels of regular schools.The collected data was analyzed with the method of a cross-time-frequency analysis using a SPSS 21.0 statistics program. The research findings indicated that both special schools and classes had a poor smart education environment and that special education teachers were having a harding time because of the lack of the infrastructure and additional expenses. In addition, special education teachers were found to use smart device mostly for the purpose of motivating students. These research findings propose that it is urgent to set up a proper smart education environment for special needs students and to provide a systematic training program for special education teachers.

Background: People with special needs tend to require diverse behavioral management in dentistry. They may feel anxious or uncomfortable or may not respond to any communication with the dentists. Patients with medical, physical, or psychological disorders may not cooperate and therefore require sedation (SED) or general anesthesia (GA) to receive dental treatment. Using the healthcare big data in Korea, this study aimed to analyze the trends of SED and GA in special needs patients undergoing dental treatment. It is believed that these data can be used as reference material for hospitals and for preparation of guidelines and related policy decisions of associations or governments for special needs patients in dentistry. Methods: The study used selected health information data provided by the Korean National Health Insurance Service. Patients with a record of use of one of the eight selected drugs used in dental SED between January 2007 and September 2019, those with International Classification of Diseases-10 codes for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), phobia, brain disease, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, genetic disease, autism, mental disorder, mental retardation, and dementia were selected. The insurance claims data were analyzed for age, sex, sedative use, GA, year, and institution. Results: The number of special needs patients who received dental treatment under SED or GA from January 2007 to September 2019 was 116,623. Number of SED cases was 136,018, performed on 69,265 patients, and the number of GA cases was 56,308, implemented on 47,257 patients. In 2007, 3100 special needs patients received dental treatment under SED while in 2018 the number of cases increased 6 times to 18,528 SED cases. In dentistry, ADHD was the most common disability for SED cases while phobia was the most common cause of disability for GA. The male-to-female ratio with respect to SED cases was higher for males (M : F = 64.36% : 35.64%). Conclusion: The application of the SED method and GA for patients with special needs in dentistry is increasing rapidly; thus, preparing guidelines and reinforcing the education and system are necessary.

This is the study on the current status and system of the elderly medical and welfare facilities with the subjects in Busan. I investigated the problems related to those by analysing the current status and implementing a survey and then suggested a new facility system as a salvation. At present, the elderly medical and welfare facilities can not receive variety of inmates and also they are operated separatedly so the elderly is not able to receive special treatment and nursing at the same time in one facility. Some nursing facilities can give special treatment by connecting specific hospital when it is necessary, but the connection is not activated than our expectancy at the present. On the base of these problems, this study suggested 'one-stop service system' that can afford to give nursing and special treatment in a place ranging wider areas as the solution. The five types of facility system by integrating the results of survey are as followings. 1) Free special nursing facility + The geriatric hospital. 2) The profit special nursing facility + The geriatric hospital. 3) The geriatric hospital + The hospital rooms with silver town residence type. 4) The actual expense special nursing facility + The geriatric hospital + The hospital rooms with silver town residence type. 5) The geriatric hospital + The residential welfare service. It seems that the preparation for the elderly is urgent when considering the facilities related to those are not special any more because every one is supposed to use them some day. The kinds and the degree of elderly's diseases will be more duplicated and significant afterwards. Therefore it is expected that more various and specialized facilities are to be required.

New education methodologies exploiting new media technologies are emerging with the development of digital technology. There also have been researches on efficient methods to apply new technologies on special education. In this paper, we analyze 32 researches associated with application of new media technology on special education for research theme, media, and teaching types. The analysis results show that there is few research on intervention contents which consider special education environment and the roll of teacher. This motivates us to develop a social storytelling contents to improve sociality of the children with developmental disability which can be easily useable in special education environment. The basic structure of the contents is designed for a child to make a choice in the meantime of storytelling and experience the different results depending on the choice. The pilot test with a child with mild autism verifies that it draws attention from the child and it is easy to use in a special education environment, which lays down the possibility as an intervention content.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the learning activities which use asexual reproduction learning application(app) of students with special needs through the Cultural Historical Activity(CHAT). The asexual reproduction learning app was developed for students with special needs, and analyzed the learning activities of students with special needs in perspective of CHAT. The app was developed as subsidiary study material for asexual reproduction inquiry learning. Main functions of the app were composed of concept learning, problem solving, video playing, and report writing. According the CHAT analysis, findings indicated that students with special needs as the subject were able to organize division of labor demonstrated in cooperative learning with the object to actively participate in the class by using the tool of an app. This study also showed effective teaching strategy for improvement of learning achievement and task behavior level of student with special needs.

Since the appearance of moving images, the expansion of mass media such as 1V or VCR has made the pace and range of spreading information to people faster and widely popular. Recendy, the development of digital image technique has resulted in solving the problem -great defect- of the display quality of analogue system; special effects by means of computer graphics have risen to a higher quality level; showed the new direction of digital image; and popular wi1h people all c:Ner the world. This paper reestablishes the notion of image up to now, and analyses the technical differences between analogue system and digital system on the basis of the SpecifIC property and skill of digital image editing; it also studies the special effects which can be applied to the image editing software. Moreover, in researdting 1V advertising, the special effects by digital system in use in 1his country today complies with the statistics in their own field. The special effects in 1V advertising is performed at a higher standard by a professional production. Accordingly, with the help of technology of digital moving image, the special effects are expected to continue developing into a level of high quality
