향후 대용량 정보 제공 서비스를 위한 크루즈 선박 등의 특수 선박용 광 네트워크 모니터링 시스템의 하드웨어와 소프트웨어를 설계 제작하였고, 개발된 광 네트워크 감시 시스템이 선박이라는 특수 상황과 관련있는 이물질이 부착된 광 커넥터, 오접속된 커넥터에 의한 손실 등 2가지의 이벤트를 정확히 모니터링하는지를 실험을 통해 확인해 보았다. 모니터링 시스템의 하드웨어는 선박의 네트워크 구조에 맞는 chained branch와 dark fiber 병합 방식으로 설계 제작하였고, 2가지 이벤트에 대한 감시 시험 결과 3가지 모두 5 m 이내의 범위로 모니터링하는 것을 확인하였다.

The 14th International Symposium on Flow Visualization (ISFV14) was held at Daegu (Korea), June 21-24, 2010. The number of participants was 304 from 17 countries. The number of papers presentated was 243 from 19 countries. Two special lectures and four invited lectures, 48 paper sessions, and one poster session were opened in five and in a lobby for four days. Special events such as awarding "the Asanuma Award" and "the Leonardo Da Vinci Award" to the prominent contributors were also held. Photo and Movie Awards were given to three scientists for the excellences in their photos and movies. Among 48 sessions 5 sessions were on Biological Flows and on Micro/Nano Fluidics, which were the largest session number. 4 sessions were held on Compressible and Sonic Flows, and on PIV/PTV. 3 sessions were held on Swirl Flows, Image Processing, and on Industrial Applications. Other sessions on LIF, Wake and Vortex Flows, Physiological Flows, Environment Flows, Measurements Techniques, and on Reacting Flows.

The purpose of this study is to examine the elements that satisfy customers in order for restaurants to survive in competition, and to examine effective positioning strategies. Since the designation of Haeundae in Busan as a Special Tourism Zone, diverse food service markets have been established and various marketing activities are anticipated accordingly. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, after the examination of the competitive relationships among restaurants, based on the image similarity data, it was found that Bennigan's, Outback Steakhouse, and T.G.I. Friday's are in close proximity with one another. Hence the fierce competition between them. Secondly, as a result of PC-MDS PROFIT analysis, a positioning map was drawn with image similarity measurement of the restaurants and scores 9 evaluation categories for each brand name as follows: food taste, food price, service, access convenience, hygienic condition and cleaning, atmosphere, various events, circumferential environment, and public image. Thirdly, as a result of MDPREFMAP analysis based on the customer preference, data from the restaurant brand names, an ideal location of a restaurant preferred by customers and the position of restaurant brand names were indicated at the same time.

As the modern societies have become complicated and diverse, people's interest in "leisure time" has been higher than ever before, especially in relation to 5 day work a week. The increasing weekend trip and the travlers' demand for the better service and the convenient accomodations gave birth to "Pension" as one of accomodations in Korea. This study focuses on the attempt to plan and design the establishment of the competitive "Pension" which are popular between travelers in their twenties and thirties living in cities. This study also attempts to find the solution of the problems in relation to the actual conditions of the pensions which are built and under construction, and to suggest a new revised concept of pension. The summary is as follows: 1. This study focuses on the special theme of building Mo-Hyun Myon pension community with originality and new style of management. 2. This study includes the introduction of the special agency which makes reservations, promotes, and manages for the convenience of customers and buyers. 3. It pianos to secure the public area for various events and rests. 4. The geographical features of the site where the complex stands will be fully utilized to maximize the beauties of nature.

A number of projects for development have been done continuously due to the increase of tourist in Jeju Island. However flood disaster countermeasure due to urbanization is not considered during this development projects. This study is to make basic process for the flood estimation in Han stream of Jeju Island. The variation of stream discharge due the every 5 years' land use change from 1980 to 2005. Data for flood events (rainfall and discharge) were collected for HEC-HMS model. Clark method was used for unit hydrograph analysis. For the estimation of Clark unit hydrograph parameters, Kraven II and Sabol's empirical equations were applied. The peak discharge increased 9.9~33.67% and total discharge amount increased 12.53~30.21%. Also, time of concentration for peak discharge was reduced by 10 minutes for each event.

본 연구는 광주지역 특성화고의 안정적 지원 방안을 제시하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 광주지역 일반현황 및 지원현황을 분석하고 지원계획을 검토하였다. 광주시교육청은 타교육청에 비해 지역특성 및 산업계 수요에 다른 특성화 고교 및 산학협력, 특성화고교 및 산학협력 관련 지원, 우수교원 확보 지원, 단위학교 특성화 및 산학협력 지원 등을 제시하고 있다. 반면에, 특성화 고등학교 특성화가 학교 전체보다는 학과단위에 머물러 있는 것이나 현장실습을 위한 산업체와 연계 강화, 직업교육 활성화를 위한 재정확보 노력 및 성과 등에 대해서는 지속적인 제고와 개선을 위한 노력이 요구되며 이를 보완하기위해 광주광역시 특성화고의 향후 지원방안 및 시사점을 제시하였다.

It has been true that major investment among local business hotels were placed in furniture design character as there are increasing number of international events hosted by Korea. The study, under these circumstances, as a study In advance to see the design feature and trend of local business hotel's guest room furniture, has done interview with guest room manager, photographing of rooms, actual survey for analysing guest room plane surface, etc., researcher directly visiting 15 hotels that have special first grade businessmen only floor in Seoul. In addition, a survey has been done to know if each hotel room and furniture has particular image, from this survey the design feature of local business hotel's guest room has been analysed, and the result is as following. The result shows that similar pattern is applied in furniture placement of each guest room but for the furniture type and design concept, some try to re-design of wooden furniture available in Lee dynasty and others adopt European style like France and United Kingdom for the realization of semi-classic image. Typical material and color is red oak and maple.

이 연구는 전문도서관의 특성에 맞는 SNS 운영방안을 제시하는 것으로, 해양과학도서관의 사례를 중심으로 SNS 운영조직, 인력, 콘텐츠, 홍보에 관하여 심층적으로 분석하였다. 연구를 통해 도출된 전문도서관의 SNS 운영방안을 요약하면, (1) 운영목적에 적합한 SNS 채널의 선택, (2) SNS 운영에 대한 도서관 업무분장, (3) 연성형 T/F팀 조직 운영과 전담인력 지정, (4) 전문주제별 콘텐츠 특성화, (5) 참여형 이벤트 중심의 온 오프라인 홍보 실시, (6) 정기적인 로그분석을 통한 콘텐츠 개선, (7) SNS 이용을 통한 도서관 홈페이지 이용 유도 등이 있다. 또한 전문도서관 SNS 운영의 발전방향으로 전문도서관 직원 간 업무소통 및 협력강화, 모기관 연구 및 학술성과의 확산, 이용자와의 소통창구로서 역할 강화, 도서관의 소셜 큐레이터 역할 수행을 제안하였다.

이 연구는 웹 2.0기반의 웹서비스 가운데 하나인 팟캐스트에 대한 소개와 팟캐스트를 활용한 선행연구를 토대로 실제 도서관서비스를 실시하고 있는 미국의 대학도서관과 공공도서관들의 팟캐스트 프로그램들을 조사 분석함으로써 국내 팟캐스트 서비스 적용방향을 모색하는 것이다. 분석결과, 팟캐스트를 적용한 공공도서관 프로그램에는 도서관 및 도서관행사 안내, 도서관이용교육, 지역사회소식, 교양강의, 스토리텔링을 통한 독서교육, 신간안내, 도서관장서 소개, 정보통신교육 등이 주류를 이루고 있었고 대학도서관의 프로그램에는 도서관이용교육, 도서관행사안내, 신간안내, 주제전문사서소개, 특강, 세미나, 포럼, 강의 등에 관한 프로그램들이 주를 이루고 있었다. 이를 바탕으로 국내도서관에서 팟캐스트 서비스를 위한 대학도서관과 공공도서관의 적용방향을 제시하였다. 국내 대학도서관과 공공도서관에서 팟캐스트 서비스를 적용할 경우 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

The performance assessment in radiosonde observation on the special observation program (ProbeX-2009) is performed and the characteristics of precipitation using Auto Weather System (AWS) and radiosonde data in 2009 at the Ulleungdo are investigated. The launching time, observation time, and maximum altitude of radiosonde are satisfied with the regulation from Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) and World Meteorological Organization (WMO) but the duration of observational time of radiosonde is much shorter than that of the ProbeX-2007 because the altitude of launching site is higher than others in 2007. From the analysis of trajectories of radiosonde, most radiosondes at the Ulleungdo tend to move into the east because the westerly prevail at the middle latitude. However, when the Okhotsk high is expanded to the Korean peninsula and the north-westerly winds strengthen over the East Sea as the subtropical high is retreated, radiosonde tends to move into the south-west and south-east, respectively. Maximum distance appears at the end of observation level before May but the level of maximum distance is changed into 100 hPa after June because the prevailing wind direction is reversed from westerly to easterly at the stratosphere during summer time. The condition of precipitation was more correlated with the dynamic instability except Changma season. Precipitation in 2009 at the Ulleungdo occurred under the marine climate so that total precipitation amounts and precipitation intensity were increased and intensified during nighttime. The local environment favorable for the precipitation during nighttime was while the wind speed at the surface and the inflow from the shoreline were strengthened. Precipitation events also affected by synoptic condition but the localized effect induced by topography was more strengthened at the northern part of Ulleungdo.
