공간구조를 고려한 도로망 기반 토지이용의 분류분석 (Classification Analysis of Road Network-Based Land Use Considering Spatial Structure)

  • 도시공간을 이해하고 적절한 계획을 세우기 위해서는 도로와 토지이용을 동시에 고려한 통합적인 분석이 요구되며, 공간의 평면적 구조뿐만 아니라 수직적인 구조도 분석이 요구된다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 이러한 공간구조를 고려하여 도로를 기반으로 토지이용을 분석하고 평가하는 것이다. 연구방법은 먼저, 도로는 도로망 구조를 고려한 공간구문론을 도입하였고, 토지이용은 주거와 상업용건물의 수평적이고 수직적인 개발밀도를 고려하였다. 둘째, 물리적 거리, 공간구문론의 속성 중 전체통합도, 도로의 길이를 반영한 전체통합도의 3가지 도로 변수에 대한 설명력을 비교하였다. 셋째, 이 중 적절한 도로 변수를 기반으로 토지이용과 함께 변형한-IPA를 수행하고, 결과를 4개의 영역으로 분류하였다. 이를 계획된 지역인 서울의 강남구에 적용하여 결과를 가시화하였다.

노인전문병원 평면구조의 위계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Hierarchy in Spatial Configuration of Geriatrics Hospital)

  • Increase in the elderly population has given rise to various social problems throughout Korean society, and what is more, although the greater demand of medical treatment, its development is still in its early stages. Given that Specialized Geriatrics Hospital has stood amid a range of spatial complication and it should faithfully reflect the needs of elderly population, we need a better understanding of Specialized Geriatrics Hospital. This study suggested the foundation to plan of Specialized Geriatrics Hospital through analyzing and evaluating spatial configuration of Specialized Geriatrics Hospital by "Space Syntax" and "J-Graph" The study focused on Specialized Geriatric Hospitals existing in Korea which owned more than 100 beds. The result of this study is summarized as follows; First, the rate of separated convex showed that the portions of the Treatment of outpatients and Supply have increased, but onthe other hand the portion of the The ward has been on the decrease. Second, in the case of Treatment of outpatients, it was structured Tree-shaped and the Tree-shaped could be separated with two types: waiting room and wailing room with lounge. in the case of The ward, it was structured Tree-shaped and also Ring-shaped. The more recently opened Geriatrics Hospital, the closer to Ring-shaped. Third, the access to the Ccentral treatment was low though the access to the core of the each floor was high. Fourth, in the progress of intelligibility, the fact that its value has decreased is becoming a serious problem of medical development for the elderly population finally, according to J-graph's analysis, the hallway made the spatial depth of rooms and public space more deepened. This caused by scattered arrangement of public spaces. As the only planning were considered in this study, It therefore needs more diversified approaches considering physical factors such like real distance and area.

  • 본 연구는 전통적인 한옥의 주거 형태를 유지하고 있으면서 동시에 현재에도 주거생활을 수용하고 있는 북촌의 도시형 한옥주거를 대상으로 하되, 한옥의 공간을 변형시켜 임대세대가 들어설 수 있도록 변형한 임대형 한옥주거의 개조 특성을 분석하고자 하였다. 이는 각 실이 구조적으로 서로 관련되어 여러 실과의 관계 속에서 그 위상이 정해지고 고유의 기능을 발휘하게 되는 전통주택의 공간변화와 현대 생활을 수용함에 따라 각 공간요소의 사회적 성격이 변화된 양상을 객관적으로 밝히기 위하여 공간구문론을 주된 분석방법으로 하였다. 연구의 결과 임대형 공간으로 사용되기 위한 평면의 원형이 변형된 도시형 한옥의 경우, 수직적 증축 및 확장이 제도적으로 제한이 되어 있어, 기존의 도시형 한옥에서 수평적 변형 및 변용이 이루어졌으며, 주인과 임대인의 공간으로 구분되면서 마당과 대청의 위계변화 및 기존 주인공간의 사성이 강화됨을 확인하였다.

공간구문론을 이용한 농촌마을 가로환경시설 정비 방안 (A study on Methodology for Street Furniture Improvement with Space Syntax)

  • In farming area, the elderly population is increasing year after year. And the gap between farming area and the city regarding quality of life is getting bigger and bigger. Besides, it has much poorer ground for living than the city. The current farming village maintenance project is adopting a different system now from the top-down project exclusively led by the government in the past to the bottom-up one reflecting how the residents think positively. Lack of the residents' understanding and education about the maintenance project, however, some of them are just focused on maintenance and development distorted from making a village where people want to live. Accordingly, this study will analyze the characteristics of farming villages by their types based on field research and spatial analysis using Space Syntax in order to develop more premeditated and effective maintenance plans to perform maintenance in farming area. As a result, When you install streetlights street lights should be installed at places with a high of Connectivity and spatial depth is deep. Based on this method, the research is going to suggest the current status of street furniture improvement in the villages and the proper positions for their future installation.

농촌마을 공간특성과 어메니티자원의 입지분석 (The Spatial Location Analysis of Rural Village and Amenity Resources)

  • The aim of the research was to analyze a correlation between rural villages and a space of amenity resources in order to provide objective basic data for rural renewal planning in the future. 15 villages were selected to analyze amenity resources. A Space Syntax Method(SSM) was used to analyze a spacial structure of each village and location characteristics of amenity resources. Finally, Statistical Package for the Social Sciences(SPSS) was used for a cluster analysis. The results of spacial analysis showed that the MeanDepth of rural villages was 4.482 and Global Integration Value(GInteg) was 0.956. Relatively, a depth was lower and GInteg was higher, compared to other villages. Rural villages were easily recognized and accessible by outsiders, compared to mountain and fishing villages. In the case of rural villages, the MeanDepth of amenity resources was low and GInteg was high in the results of cluster analysis using a nonhierachical method. Results indicated that an access was easy and amenity resources were closely located each other. However, the deviation of each village was great in mountain villages. This research suggests that an effective maintenance of road network for improving accessibility would be given priority in an undeveloped farming and fishing villages' renewal. Especially, using a spacial analysis in village renewal planning process can improve accessibility and maximize an utilization of public facilities and amenity resources.

종합병원 외래진료부 진로인지계획 모형에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Wayfinding Model of Outpatient Department in General Hospital)

  • Recently, hospital patients experience anxiety, confusion, and stress about wayfinding as the spacial layout and treatment circulatory system of hospitals have become complicated due to their oversized and complex structure. As part of finding a solution to the problem, this study seeks to examine what are the essential elements of the wayfinding planning of O.P.D. in general hospitals, to develop the model of wayfinding, and to suggest the methods of improving the wayfinding system. The research methods of this study adopted were literature review in wayfinding cognition, plan analysis of ten general hospitals, space analysis of these hospitals through space syntax, analysis of the system of visual-perceptual information through a field study, and analysis of surveys and follow-up surveys conducted to support the results. Based on these results, the proposals for finding decision points, providing the information, and developing a model planning are listed as follows. 1) The comprehensive understanding of O.P.D. spacial layout and the visual-perceptual information system is necessary to find the essential elements of wayfinding. 2) The decision points are found through the full understanding of spacial functions, circulation systems, and facility configuration, considering the spacial layout, the bound of the visual-perceptual information system, and the circulatory system. Furthermore, the information decision points could be confined by space syntax. 3) The checklist and color compound & color codes, developed through the planning of signage system and color system could be applied to the methods of providing the information. 4) The planning of wayfinding system according to the whole process of practices for outpatients was mentioned above. The system of visual-perceptual information developed through the process of this study should be integrated in the spacial layout of the whole O.P.D.

리차드 마이어의 뮤지엄건축 전시공간구성 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Exhibition Space Planning in Museums Desinged by Richard Meier)

  • Richard Meier has earned his recognition by developing his unique design approach and keeping consistency in design concept in museum architecture over the years of his practice. The purpose of this study is finding common characteristics of the exhibition space spatial organization based on actual site visit analysis. This study will mainly focus on the museums Richard Meier designed between 1979, which is the year he started, until 1997 which is the year Getty Museum opened. For the purpose of this study, Museum of Applied Art, Frankfurt(1979-85), High Museum of Art, Atlanta(1980-83), Museum of Contemporary Art, Barcelona(1987-95), and The J.Paul Getty Museum(1984-1997) have been selected for analysis. This study will reveal fundamental characteristics of Richard Meier's architectural philosophy through his early residential projects and give background information of the 'white architecture' Close analysis will continue by reviewing four museums selected specifically for this study and focus more from the point of issues such as; 1)applying various axis in space programming, 2)symbolic significance of exhibition space, 3)hierarchy of each space, 4)design elements and characteristics of the exhibition space. Furthermore, quantitative research on exhibition space organization will be done by Space Syntax theory method. The result of the study will be a significant data in designing a modern museum.

역세권 특성이 지하철 이용수요에 미치는 영향분석 (An Empirical Study on the Relationship between Subway Trips and Characteristics of Subway Catchment Area.)

  • 지하철 이용수요와 토지이용, 개발밀도, 환승교통체계, 접근성과 같은 다양한 역세권 특성의 관계를 규명하기 위한 많은 연구들이 추진되어 왔으나, 역세권내 보행 가로망 구조와 지하철 이용수요간의 관계에 관한 분석은 미비한 실정이다. 본 연구는 부산광역시 79개 지하철 역세권내 가로망의 구조를 공간구문론(Space syntax)을 이용하여 평가하였으며, 역세권내 가로망 구조의 접근성을 포함한 다양한 역세권 특성이 지하철 이용수요에 미치는 영향을 실증분석을 하였다. 분석결과 역세권 가로망 구조를 대변할 수 있는 공간지표인 통합도, 연결도, 명료도 중 역세권 가로망의 접근 편의성을 나타내는 통합도가 높을수록 지하철 이용수요가 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 역세권 토지이용형태와 개발밀도를 각각 반영하는 집객시설 집중도와 용적률이 높을수록 지하철 이용수요가 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 부산광역시의 지하철 역세권 구조를 대중교통 중심의 개발 체계로 개선하기 위해서는 역세권내 보행가로의 접근성을 향상시킬 수 있는 가로 설계와 통행 목적성이 강한 도시시설물을 압축 고밀의 건축물에 조성하기 위한 노력들이 추진되어야 할 것으로 판단된다.

택지개발지구에서 보행자도로 공급수준 평가지표 개발 (Evaluation Index for the Supply Levels of Pedestrian Facilities in Residential Area Planning)

  • 본 논문에서는 주민 쾌적성, 보행자 안전성, 그리고 택지개발의 효율성을 제고시킬 수 있는 보행자 도로 공급 수준 평가지표를 제시한다. 이를 위한 연구에서 다각적인 분석이 시행되었는데, 첫째, 이미 입주가 끝난 8개 택지개발 사업지에서 보행수요에 미치는 영향요소를 찾았고, 영향 요소 간 관계를 정립하기 위해 Space Syntax 분석을 통한 국부통합도, 활동인구(인/일), 택지개발지구 면적 등을 선택하여 보행수요 예측모형을 정립하였다. 그 후 기존 연구에서 제시한 보행점유공간과 본 연구에서 개발한 보행수요 예측모형을 상호 비교하여 최초 계획단계에서 보행자 도로 공급수준을 산정할 수 있도록 했다. 끝으로, 본 연구에서 정립한 평가지표가 합리적인 공급수준을 평가하는 지표인지 확인하기 위해 주민 만족도 설문조사를 실시했는데, 그 결과 본 연구에서 정립한 평가지표는 기존 지표보다 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 앞으로 본 연구 결과는 택지개발 사업지에서 보행공간을 계획할 때 많은 도움을 제공할 것이다.

Exploration of Isovist Fields to Model 3D Visibility With Building Facade

  • Visibility of a space have been defined in several different ways: such as the axial line covering a convex space, a convex space defining the fattest shape in a space and an Isovist field formed by a field of vision at a given vantage point. Isovist fields are referred to as a descriptive medium to describe a movement by reviewing and analyzing geometric properties in them. Many descriptive methods for analysis of three-dimensional isovist are applied to analyzing the morphological properties in a 3D space more realistically. Although these models are regarded as a more advanced method for describing spatial properties, they have pros and cons such as complex mathematical calculations and somewhat arbitrary calibration in addition to huge consumption of memory space. These difficulties lead to the development of a three-dimensional visual accessibility model that explores the implication of building shape on the calculation of isovist fields drawn on a 2D plane. We propose a conceptual framework of how to measure the isovist field not as a 3D volume but as a combination of 2D plane on the ground with the 3D building shape of it's facade.
