The black soldier fly, Hermetia illucens, larvae may depend on indigenous bacteria in the intestine to feed and digest diverse food sources. To prove this hypothesis, we isolated and identified the intestinal bacteria of the black soldier fly for their digestive and antimicrobial abilities. The last instar larvae had long digestive tracts, which were about seven times longer than its body length. An individual of H. illucens larvae possessed a total of $5.0{\pm}10^6$ bacteria in the whole intestine, of which more than 98% bacteria were located in the hindgut. Three different bacterial isolates cultured on nutrient agar (NA) medium were detected in the intestine and identified as Morganella morganii, Providencia rettgeri and Bacillus halodurans by Biolog microbial identification system. Analysis of 16S rDNA sequences of the intestinal bacteria detected the additional bacteria of Proteus mirabilis, Providencia alcalifaciens, and Providencia sp. These intestinal bacteria cultured on NA medium exhibited high resistance to 4 antibiotics and inhibited growth of other microbes which are mainly plant pathogens. Also, these bacteria exhibited catalytic activities to degrade cellulose, lipid, proteins, and carbohydrates. These results suggest that H. illucens larvae possess intestinal bacteria that may play crucial roles in their digestive physiology.

Considering the entire critical path, underground works in construction projects occupy a large part of the total construction period, as well as a large part of the construction costs. Particularly in the downtown area, the scale of underground work has been increasing every year. Currently, underground retaining walls, which are built at construction sites, require many skilled workers, and the works are being undertaken by means of the Euroform+Soldier system, which is quite disadvantageous in terms of the construction period. In order to complement this, forms made of new materials and new construction methods have been developed. Now more than eyer, the shortening of construction periods and the reduction of construction costs is required. Considering this, in this study, the researcher has tried to compare the Euroform+Soldier system, which has been the system most frequently used on construction sites, to the non-supporting form system, which has been used on the sites of civil engineering work. The results of the research revealed that although the Euroform+Soldier system was advantageous from the perspective of material costs, it was disadvantageous in terms of labor costs. It is thought that an additional study on a method for reducing the material costs is required, so as to revitalize the application of non-supporting forms to the construction site.

Rearing environment direct effects on oviposition preference of black soldier fly(Hermetia illucens). In this study, the number of egg-filled flutes was surveyed according to the size of adult rearing cages and oviposition media of black soldier fly (BSF). The height of the adult rearing cages were fixed at 2 m and provided different sizes of width and length and released 20,000 BSF adults in the rearing cages. The mean number of BSF egg-filled flutes was 895.4 at $4{\times}4m$ cage, 876.3 at $2{\times}1m$ cage and 62.3 at $1{\times}1m$ cage. Comparison of egg-filled flutes was according to cages material of adult BSF. The mean number of egg-filled flutes were 820.7 and 604.3 at different cage materials such as mosquito net and green house film. The mean numbers of egg-filled flutes were 326.6 in green floral form, 135.2 in green corrugated cardboard and 41.0 in brown corrugated cardboard. And the mean number of egg-filled flutes were similar floral form with the corrugated cardboard was overlapped by floral form such as 57.7 and 64.7. The mean number of egg-filled flutes was 29.0 and 48.2 in 6 mm and 4 mm diameter of oviposition hole.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate noise level exposures at different locations such as the left and right ears of the shooter, control room, waiting soldier location and drill ground. For this study, we visited two military rifle ranges and took measurements with a sound level meter (3M Quest SoundPro TM) at five different locations with values of Peak (dB(A)) and Max (dB(A)). The highest peak value of impulse noise level averaged 150.4 dB(A), ranging from 149.6 to 150.5 dB(A) at both the left and right ear sides. This result was significantly different between both left and right ear side locations and at other locations such as the control room, waiting soldier location, and drill ground (P < 0.001). Frequency of impulse noise exposure level showed that the left ear of shooter had the highest frequency (20 times) at over 150 dB(A). This study confirmed that there is a need for proper controls to reduce the amount of impulse noise exposure at military rifle ranges.

Students in the NCO department who have concluded the agreement with army headquarters, exercise camp education environment and the method on how to carry out the education. In order to raise awareness on NCOs and obtain pride as a future army NCO, army field training is held once a year. The stress on the education is the establishment of national security awareness, proficiency in basic army training, awareness of NCO pride, and basic posture as a soldier. The demand for commissioning only those with satisfactory army field training results is becoming stronger. The satisfaction of the education states a clear goal as a future NCO. This army field training has a meaning when the demands and expectations of the trainee leads to a form of commissioning.
