권력의 장치로서의 사회복지 : 푸코의 권력이론에 입각한 '권한부여' 비판 (Social Welfare as an Apparatus of Power : A Critique on 'Empowerment' from the Foucault's Theory of Power)

  • From Foucault's Perspective of power, this study is trying to illuminate the characteristics and limitations of 'empowerment' which is widely accepted as a central value and practice skill of social work. Notwithstanding the superficial consensus on the empowerment, the author shows that it is a confusing concept with contrasting expectations and conflicting methodologies or only a wishful rhetorical jargon. Furthermore, he argues that the empowerment is not just a value-free intervention skill working outside the ruling power but a ruling-discourse or power-mechanism of a liberal society which makes citizens responsible voluntarily. For a theoretical background for these arguments, the 2nd chapter reviews Foucault's theory of power. The 1st part of the 3rd chapter summarizes the historical background of empowerment practice and its methodological characteristics and meanings, the 2nd part reviews the existing critics on the conceptual and practical limitations of empowerment, and the last part reveals, based upon Foucault's theory of power, that the empowerment is a typical mode of ruling power in liberal societies. The author expects that this study may warn the moral and intellectual superiority complex of social work discourse and help stimulate the ethical sensibility and responsibility in social work practice.

통합교육활동이 발달지체 아동의 사회적 기술 향상에 미치는 효과 (Effect of integrated educational activities on the improvement in social skills of children with developmental delays)

  • 연구의 목적은 일반 유치원에서 통합교육활동이 발달지체 아동의 사회적 기술 향상에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 것이다. 연구대상자는 경상남도 김해시에 소재하고 있는 특수학교 유치부에 재학 중이며, 모든 영역에서 발달이 지체되어 있는 아동 3명이다. 실험 방법은 발달지체 아동과 비장애 아동의 다양한 교육활동을 촬영한 후 그 결과를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 세 아동들이 언어적, 인지적, 정서적 특성의 차이에 의한 사회적 기술을 학습으로 변화했고, 광범위한 교육 활동은 협력기술, 의사소통기술, 자기통제 기술 향상에 효과가 있었다.

어머니의 사회성 양육 효능감 지각과 귀인 (Mothers' Perception and Attribution of Parenting Efficacy for the Children's Social Development)

  • Many parents recognize the importance of social development during early childhood but they feel difficulty in helping their children develop socially. Recently, many researchers have suggested that maternal cognition is an important factor on their parenting behavior and children's development. Thus, this study attempted to investigate the mother's perception and attribution of parenting efficacy for children's social development. Total 247 mothers of three to five year-old children reported self-questionnaire consisting of Melson, Ladd, & Hsu(l993)'s Perceived Difficulty at Parenting Tasks, Criniic & Greenberg(1990)'s Parenting Daily Hassles and Abdin(1990)'s Parenting Alliance Inventory. Also, 82 of the subject's children were individually tested with McGinnis & Goldstein(1990)'s Skill Situations Measure. The major results were as follows: 1) Mothers' parenting efficacy for children's social development was significantly related with child's age, mother's education and the father's cooperation of parenting. 2) Mothers' perceived parenting efficacy was significantly correlated with some dimension of the child's actual social skill (i.e., maintenance of peer relation). 3) Mothers of young children were more likely to attribute to their children for their parenting efficacy than those of old children. 4) Mothers were more likely attribute to their children than themselves when they perceive parenting difficult. 5) Mothers who perceive parenting easy and attributed it to their children had less parenting stress than those of attributing it to themselves.

다차원적 신체이미지가 의복행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Multiple Body Image on Clothing Behavior)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation between various aspects of multiple body image and clothing behavior i.e. individuality/self expression, body improvement, social approval, sex appeal. The data were collected from 498 female university students in Seoul and Kyong Ki Province and analyzed using factor analysis, Pearsons correlations, reliability test, analysis of variance, and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows: 1) Four dimensions of multiple body image were identified : appearance, body attractiveness, degree of fitness and atheletic skill. 2) Perception on appearance and fitness aspect of multiple body image has a positive correlation with all aspects of clothing behavior i.e. individuality/self expression, body improvement, social approval and sex appeal of clothing behavior. Body attractiveness and atheletic skill of multiple body image also had a positive correlation with individuality/self expression, and sex appeal.

산업안전 연구에 대한 사회심리적 접근의 통합 (Applying psychosocial approach in industrial safety research)

  • This paper tried to apply psychosocial factors in industrial safety research. Since Zohar's(1980) publication of safety climate in the field of safety research, this approach have been done by many researchers. Here, this paper reviewed the relationship between safety climate factors(safety rule, prevention, superior attitude, social support) and safety compliance, and the moderating effects of work condition, required skill and age. Based on the responses from 233 employees in Kangwon province industry, hierarchical regressional analysis showed that all safety climate factors(safety rule, prevention, superior attitude, social support) have positive relationship with safety compliance. Safety rule appeared to be more positively related with safety compliance, while work condition is more favorable and worker is older. But social support appeared to be more positively with safety compliance, while work condition is more unfavorable, and also prevention appeared to be more positively with safety compliance, while worker is more younger.

초등학생의 사회인식 및 대인관계 능력 함양을 위한 도덕교육의 통합적인 방안 연구 (A Study on the integrative ways of moral education for the building of children's social awareness and relationship skills)

  • 본 연구는 사회·정서적 학습 이론(the social and emotional learning, SEL)에 근거를 두고 초등 도덕교육의 목표인 초등학생들의 "바르고 선한 인성(character)"을 어떻게 하면 보다 효과적으로 함양할 것인가? 의 물음에 답하기 위해, 사회·정서적 능력 중에서도 특히 사회적 인식(social awareness) 및 대인 관계 기술(relationship skill) 함양에 초점을 두고 탐구하였다. 본 연구가 SEL에 토대를 두고자 하는 이유는 초등학생들의 도덕성 발달이란 도덕적 지식(앎)의 발달만으로 가능하지 않고, 도덕적 지식을 행동으로 옮기는데 있어 중요한 가교의 역할(예를 들면, 자동차가 움직이기 위해 연료가 필수적이듯이 일종의 도덕적 에너지의 역할)을 하고 있는 사회·정서적 능력의 발달이 병행될 때 가능한 바, 그동안 우리나라 도덕교육에서는 이러한 사회·정서적 능력 혹은 도덕적 감정의 필요성에 대해 강조하면서도 이를 어떻게 하면 효과적으로 교육할 것인가에 대해 구체적인 실천 방안 마련이 미흡하였기 때문이다. 초등학생들의 사회 인식 및 대인 관계 능력 함양의 모색은 도덕과 수업을 통한 방안과 도덕과 수업 이외의 활동을 통한 방안을 중심으로 구안하였다.

대학생의 건강증진행위와 영향요인: 낙관성과 대처능력을 중심으로 (Health Promoting Behaviors and Influencing Factors of University Students: Optimism and Coping Skills)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this descriptive study was to identify predictors on health promoting behaviors of university students. Methods: The participants were 310 students by convenience sampling in G city. The data were collected through a questionnaire given to the students between September 10 to November 6, 2006. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression were used to analyze the data. Results: The mean score for the level of health promoting behaviors and optimism was 2.60(${\pm} .31$) and 2.70(${\pm} .55$) respectively. The most frequently used coping skill was the pursuit of social support. There were positive correlations between health promoting behaviors and optimism, between health promoting behaviors and active coping skill, and between health promoting behaviors and passive coping skill. In stepwise multiple regression analysis, the most powerful predictor of health promoting behaviors was active coping skill. Conclusion: The results suggest that coping skills with optimism can be considered when developing a health promotion program for university students.

정신분열병을 가진 사람들을 위한 사회기술훈련의 효과에 관한 메타분석 (A Meta-Analysis on the Effects of Social Skill Training for Schizophrenic Patients)

  • 본 연구에서는 정신분열병을 가진 사람들을 위한 사회기술훈련의 효과를 통합하여 보다 객관적인 결론을 유도하고, 효과적인 프로그램에 대한 실증적 지식을 제시하기 위하여 메타분석을 실시하였다. 자료 수집은 2013년 5월까지 국내에서 발표된 석 박사 학위논문 및 학술지에 게재된 논문을 대상으로 하였고 최종 22편의 논문을 분석대상으로 선정하였으며, 메타분석을 위하여 CMA(Comprehensive Meta-Analysis) software 2.0을 사용하였다. 연구의 주요 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정신분열병을 가진 사람을 대상으로 국내에서 실시된 사회기술훈련의 평균효과크기를 살펴보면, 대인관계능력(0.838)과 사회행동기술(0.782)은 강한 효과크기를 나타냈고, 자기주장기술(0.601)은 보통 이상의 효과크기를, 증상(0.293)은 약한 효과크기를 나타내었다. 둘째, 사회기술훈련의 효과가 조절변수에 따라 어떻게 차이가 나는지 살펴보았다. 통계적으로 유의한 조절변수로 나타난 것은 대인관계능력의 경우에 '훈련셋팅', '훈련자의 전공', '사회기술 훈련의 1회 실행시간'이었고 사회행동기술과 자기주장기술의 경우에는 '1회 실행시간', 증상의 경우에는 '1회 실행시간'과 '실행횟수'로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 함의와 제한점을 제시하였다.

중등학교 가정과 교육의 실기평가 실태에 관한연구 (A Study on the Practical Skill Evaluation in Secondary School Home Economics Education)

  • This study aims finding a desirable practical skill evaluation practice evaluation method and then improving student’s learning effect by analyzing the present state and the methods of practical skill evaluation in middle-high schools home economics education. Investigated persons are 250 of high schools home economics thachers(125) and middle schools home economics teacher(125) in Seoul, who are choosen by means of random sampling. The items analysis of questionnaires was performed by means of SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Science). The investigator analyzed their responses to the questionnaires according to teachers’ages, school careers, majors, places of employment, school years in charge. The results are marked with percentage and the significance level is verified by means of Chi-square(X$\^$2/) analysis method, when necessary. This thesis handles practical skill evaluation of general practice units, of clothing and textile unit, and of nutrient and food unit. The results obtained from the items analysis are as follows; I. Results of the items analysis. A. Practical skill evaluation of general units. 1. The motivation and accomplishment feeling of students are most frequently considered as the aims of practical skill evaluation, but the results of practical skill evaluation are, by contraries, most infrequently considered as improvement materials. 2. A greatest number of teachers make together with their colleagues an annual plan for practical skill evaluation an inform students of the concrete information of the test, but perform respectively practical skill evaluation, using 5 steps method. 3. The percentage that teachers majoring in home economics education as compared with others lay the similar stresses on the preparation processes, attitudes, and results of students is very high.

임상간호사의 이직의도에 미치는 업무소진과 사회지능의 탐색 연구 (The effects of Social Intelligence and Burnout on Turnover Intention in Nurses : An exploratory study)

  • 본 연구는 임상간호사의 업무소진과 사회지능이 이직의도에 미치는 조절효과를 탐색하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 자료 수집은 J시, D시에 소재한 대학병원과 종합병원에서 근무하는 임상간호사 188명을 대상으로 2015년 8월 3일에서 9월 1일 까지 진행하였다. 연구도구는 사회지능, 소진, 이직의도 척도를 사용하였다. 자료 분석은 실수와 백분율, 평균 및 표준편차, t검증, 일원변량분석, Pearson 상관관계, 위계적 조절 회귀분석을 이용하였다. 대상자의 이직의도는 학력, 연령, 간호직 추천, 근무연수, 직위에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였고, 사회정보는 직위에 따라, 사회기술은 여가활동, 교대근무형태, 병원 교육 참여도, 간호직 추천의사 등에 유의한 차이가 있었다, 소진은 사회정보와 부적상관관계가 있고, 이직의도, 사회기술, 사회적 인식은 정적 상관관계가 있다. 이직의도에 소진은 높은 영향력을 보였고, 업무소진과 이직의도간의 사회지능은 조절효과가 나타나지 않았다. 학습지능인 사회지능이 간호사의 업무소진과 이직의도와의 관계를 탐색하는데 연구 의의를 두며 사회지능 향상을 위한 디지털 융합 교육 프로그램의 개발 필요성을 제언한다.
