이중관계에 대한 사회복지사들의 신념과 경험에 관한 연구 (A Study on Beliefs and Experiences Related to Dual Relationships among Social Workers)

  • This article investigates 295 social workers in order to find out how much they believe that each behavior related to dual relationships is ethical and with how many clients they engaged in these behaviors. This article, based on the literature, explores three areas of dual relationships which are sexual, bartering, and private dual relationships. The results from the research were 1) The social workers tend to believe that while sexual and bartering dual relationships are less ethical, private dual relationships are more ethical. Meanwhile, they have little experience to engage in all areas of dual relationships; 2) Compared to beliefs and experiences, the social workers believe that each behavior is ethical, but they have less experienced the same behavior. However, the result of strong correlations between beliefs and experiences shows that the more the social workers believe that the behaviors are ethical, the more they tend to engage in the behaviors; 3) Based on socio-demographic characteristics, male social workers tend to accept dual relationships as ethical behavior than their female counterparts do. And those who are practicing in health settings tend to believe that the behaviors related to dual relationships are less ethical than those who are practicing in the other areas of the profession do. Finally, the research recommends that enhancing social worker's self-awareness and professional maturity is needed in order to prevent the occurrence of dual relationship engagement. Also, social work professional associations and agencies should provide education, training, and institutional restrictive devices for dealing with unethical dual relationships.

정신장애인의 긍정적 인지와 정서, 사회적 관계, 대처가 회복에 미치는 영향의 관계 구조 탐색 (Structural Exploration of the Effects of Positive Cognition and Emotions, Social Relationship, and Coping on the Sense of Recovery of Persons with Psychiatric Disabilities)

  • 정신장애인의 회복은 정신건강상태, 긍정적 인지와 정서, 친한 사람의 수와 그 관계의 질 등 개인적, 사회적 자원을 활용하여 대처하는 중 형성되고, 이는 주관적 경험뿐 아니라 장기적 조사에 의해 지지된다. 회복을 촉진하기 위해 이 요인들 간의 유기적인 관계를 밝혀 사회복지실천 방법을 발전시킬 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구는 460명의 지역사회 거주 정신장애인들의 낙관성, 정신건강상태, 정서, 사회적 관계의 양과 질, 대처가 어떠한 관계를 통해 회복에 영향을 주는지 구조방정식모형을 통해 살펴보았다. 연구결과, 첫째, 이론모형의 경로파악 결과 낙관성과 정서가 사회적 관계, 대처, 회복에 영향력을 행사한 한편, 정서는 대처에, 정신건강상태와 사회적 관계는 회복에 유의한 영향이 없었다. 둘째, 낙관성과 긍정적 정서는 회복에 직접 효과를 보이고, 양적, 질적 사회관계는 회복에 간접효과만 보였다. 낙관성보다는 긍정적 정서가 양적, 질적 사회관계에 직접 및 간접효과를 보이고, 회복에 더 큰 효과를 나타냈다. 끝으로, 낙관성과 회복, 양적관계와 회복, 질적 관계와 회복 각각의 관계에서는 대처가, 긍정적 정서와 대처 간에는 질적, 양적 관계가, 그리고 양적관계와 대처 간에는 질적 관계가 부분적 매개효과를 보였다. 이러한 결과에 따라 정신장애인의 회복에 영향을 미치는 긍정적 인지와 정서, 사회적 관계의 상이한 기제, 이들 자원과 대처, 회복의 관계에 대해 논의하고 사회복지실천 및 연구를 위한 함의를 제언하였다.

중년층의 사회적 노후준비 결정요인분석: 성차를 중심으로 (Determinants of Middle Aged's Social Preparation for Later Life : Focused on Gender)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the middle aged social preparation for later life and to explore the effect of social activities and social relationships on social preparation for later life. This research is also focused on gender differences in social activities, social relationships and social preparation for later life. The survey data was gathered from 424 middle aged citizens who live in the Gwangju & Jeonnam area, using a structured questionnaire. The statistical methods used for data analysis were descriptive statistics, cross tables, t-test, correlations, and hierarchical regression with SPSS win 18.0 program. The major findings of this study are as follows: Most of the respondents perceive an importance of social activities and social relationships. Middle aged women enjoy leisure activities such as learning and religious activity more than men. Middle aged men engage in hobby activities more than women. And most of respondents perceive they are making an effort to keep a relationship with spouses, family & friends. The results show that there are no differences in social preparation for later life between gender groups, but the variables which have an effect in social preparation for later life are different between gender groups. Social activities and Social relationships play an important role in social preparation for later life of Middle aged men and women. At the same time, Social activities and Social relationships have more positive effect on the social preparation of women. Implications of the results are discussed.

청소년의 사회적 관계망과 역량지각 (Adolescents' Social Network and their Self-Perceived Competence)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship of adolescents'social network and their self-perceived competence. In this study 207 seventh and ninth grade adolescents completed Social Network of Relationships Inventory(NRI) and Self-Perception Profile For Children(SPPC). The data were analyzed by Frequencies, Percentiles, t-test, Cronbach's $\alpha$, Pearson's correlation. Major findings were as follows: 1) Social network of relationships with various social agents made different contributions to the prediction of adolescents'self-perceived competence. 2) In social network of relationships, boys perceived significantly higher than girls for the social support from teacher. In Competence, boys perceived significantly higher than girls for the social acceptance and athletic competence. 3) In social network of relationships, the seventh grader perceived significantly higher than the ninth grader for the social support from mother, father and teacher. In scholastic competence, athletic competence, physical appearance and global self-worth, the seventh grader perceived significantly higher than the ninth grader.

뇌졸중환자의 사회참여와 대인관계의 상관성 (Correlation of between Social Participation and Interpersonal Relationship of Stroke)

  • Purpose : This study aimed to investigate the correlation between social participation and interpersonal relationships after stroke. Methods : Scores for the Korean version of the Reintegration to Normal Living Index (K-RNLI) and the Relationship Change Scale (RCS) were determined using a face-to-face test for 98 patients who had a stroke between September 3, 2018, and January 10, 2019. SPSS 22.0 was used for the analysis, and the correlation coefficient between social participation and interpersonal relationships was determined. Results : According to the patients' general characteristics, social participation was related to sex, type of lesion, and affected side, and interpersonal relationships showed a significant difference with respect to the affected side (p<.05). The analysis of social participation and interpersonal relationships of the subjects revealed a high correlation with total score (r=.364; p<.01), and all the items showed correlations except sensitivity (p<.05). Conclusion : Social participation and interpersonal relationships are important factors for reintegrating stroke patients into the community. The results of this study suggest a clinical basis for rehabilitation interventions in stroke patients.

어머니의 사회성 발달에 관한 신념 및 대인관계 유능성이 자녀의 또래관계 관리에 미치는 영향 (Mother's Management Behaviors of their Children' Peer Relationships: Relations with Beliefs and Interpersonal Competence)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between mother's management behaviors of their children's peer interaction, their beliefs about social skills, recollections of childhood peer relationships, and interpersonal competence. Subjects consisted of 258 mothers of 4- to 5-year-old children. The sample of mothers completed a series of questionnaires assessing their beliefs of social skills, their peer experiences, and the involvement activities of their children's peer relationships. The results indicated that the beliefs about social skills, recollections of childhood peer relationships, and interpersonal competence were associated with the mother's management behaviors. Maternal memories of childhood peer relationships were the best predictor of mother's management behaviors of their children's peer interaction.

유아의 정서지능과 사회적 유능성의 관계에서 유아-교사 관계의 매개효과 (Mediating Effect of Child-Teacher Relationships on the Relationship of Preschooler's Emotional Intelligence and Social Competence)

  • This study examined the effect of preschooler's emotional intelligence, child-teacher relationships (intimacy, conflict and dependency) on children's social competence. A sample of 269 children (142 boys and 127 girls) aged 3 to 6 in Seoul or Gyeonggi-do participated in the Emotional Intelligence Scale, the Child-Teacher Relationships Scale and Social Competence Scale by teachers. Descriptive statistics, t -test, Pearson's correlation analysis and regression analysis analyzed data via SPSS ver. 20.0. This study followed a mediated effect model. The results showed that: (1) The emotional intelligence of girls was significantly higher than boys. However, the child-teacher relationship and children's social competence had no significant difference relationship to gender. (2) There was a mediating effect of child-teacher relationships between preschooler's emotional intelligence and social competence. The effect of emotional intelligence on social competence was partially mediated by intimate relationship, conflict relationship and dependency relationship. The degree of mediating effect was investigated in regards to conflict relationship, dependency relationship and intimate relationship. This study demonstrated that child-teacher relationships mediate the relationship between emotional intelligence and social competence of preschoolers.

지적장애 청소년의 사회적 관계에 관한 포토보이스 연구 (A Photovoice Study of Social Relationships among Adolescents with Intellectual Disabilities)

  • 본 연구는 포토보이스 연구방법을 이용하여 지적장애 청소년이 사회적 관계에서 경험하는 어려움과 바람을 탐색하였다. 일반 고등학교에 재학 중인 지적장애 청소년 6명(평균연령=18.33세)은 7회기로 구성된 포토보이스 프로그램에 참여하였다. 이들은 집단토의를 통해 사람들과의 관계에 대한 구체적인 주제를 선정하였고, 선정된 주제와 관련한 사진을 직접 촬영하여 참여자들과 공유하였다. 본 연구에서는 지적장애 청소년들의 5가지 사회적 관계(친구, 학교 선생님, 이성친구, 부모님, 필요한 사람)와 관련하여 총 15가지 하위주제-(1)친구들과의 관계(친구들과 어울리지 못해 외롭고 고독함, 친구들로부터 놀림과 괴롭힘을 당함, 친구들과의 관계를 회복하기 위해 노력함), (2)학교 선생님과의 관계(나의 마음을 이해해 주는 선생님께 감사함, 선생님과 교류가 많지 않아 속상함, 선생님이 나의 학교생활에 관심을 가져주기를 바람), (3)이성친구와의 관계(이성친구와 교제하고 싶음, 이성친구를 사귀는 것이 두렵고 걱정됨, 이성친구를 사귀기 위해 노력함), (4)부모님과의 관계(부모님의 한결같은 사랑에 감사함, 부모님과 함께 하는 시간이 즐거움, 아버지와 관계가 소원하여 아쉬움), (5)나에게 필요한 사람(나와 함께 해 주는 사람, 나의 어려움을 도와주는 사람, 나를 포기하지 않는 사람)-가 도출되었다. 본 연구는 지적장애 청소년의 사회적 관계를 증진시키기 위해 또래관계 향상 프로그램 및 또래갈등 대처방식 훈련, 이성관계 교육, 사회적 기술 강화, 비장애 청소년 및 교사, 사회복지사를 대상으로 하는 장애학생의 사회적 욕구에 대한 교육 등 사회복지실천적 함의를 제공하였다.

문화적응스트레스 및 정서조절이 다문화가정 아동의 우울/불안에 미치는 영향 : 사회적 지지 매개효과를 중심으로 (Effects of Acculturative Stress and Emotional Control on Depression/Anxiety in Children from Multicultural Families: Mediating Effects of Social Support)

  • This study examines the mediating effects of social support on 1) the relationships between acculturative stress and depression/anxiety and 2) the relationships between emotional control and depression/anxiety in children from multicultural families. Pearson's correlations between variables were analyzed, and hierarchical regression analyses were conducted to identify direct and indirect effects of acculturative stress, emotional control, and social support on children's depression/anxiety. The sample included a total of 199 primary school students in grades 3 to 6 who lived in the Gwangju or Chonnam regions of Korea. First, there were positive correlations between acculturative stress and depression/anxiety and negative correlations between emotional control and social support. Second, social support from both peers and teachers partially mediated the relationships between acculturative stress and depression/anxiety. Third, social support from peers fully mediated the relationships between emotional control and depression/anxiety, and that from teachers partially mediated these relationships. The results suggest that social support from peers and teachers may reduce depression/anxiety in multicultural children as a mediating variable.

가족환경, 어머니의 사회심리적 역량과 아동의 사회적 역량간의 관계 (The Relation Between Family Environment, Mother's Psychosocial Competence And Children's Social Competence.)

  • The Purpose of this study was to examine the predictive capacity of mother's perception of the family environment (cohesion, expressiveness, conflict, mother's psychosocial competence) for children's social competence. The hypotheses of this reserch were 1) There will be significant positive relationships among mother's cohesion, expressiveness, and mother's psychosocial competence. 2) There will be significant negative relationships between mother's conflict and measures of children's social competence. 3) There will not be a significant relationships between SES and measures of children's social competence. 4) There will be significant relationships between children's gender and measures of children's social competence. The subjects of this study were 133 family of mother-child. The period of research was from Aug. 20, 1990 to Feb. 29, 1992. Correlations, t-test, F-test, and multiple regression analyses were conducted to determine the relationships among variables and measures of total sample, daughter sample, and son sample. The results of this study appeared as follow: 1. Family environment (cohesion, expressiveness, and conflict) and mother's psychosocial competence were related to children's social competence. 2. There were negative relationship between mother's conflict and daughter's social competence. 3. Daughters had the higher social competence than sons. 4. Socioeconomic status(perceived by mother) of family was not related to children's social competence. 5. Sociodemographic variables affecting to children's competence were mother's school career, mother's age, mother's religion.
