Previous studies related to SNS, which based on Technology Acceptance Model(TAM), were focused on user acceptance of new technology. However, they had the limitations to focus on technology acceptance, without the consideration of the cognitive factors in using SNS. This study examined how the main factors of intention to use of SNS continuously affect perceived usefulness and ease of use through familiarity, self-expression, hedonic shopping value, utilitarian shopping value and personal relationship. The results of hypothesis testing showed that familiarity, self-expression, hedonic shopping value and personal relationship have some positive impacts on the perceived usefulness and ease of use. The practical contribution of this study is to suggest useful decision alternatives concerned to marketing strategies for acquiring and retaining long-term customers related to SNS business.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors that influence health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in community-dwelling older adults. Methods: The participants were 133 elderly people dwelling in a community. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and Stepwise multiple regression with SPSS. Results: The predictors of quality of life in the elderly were depression, physical symptoms, and social support. Depression and physical symptoms had a significant negative correlation with HRQoL and social support had a significant positive correlation with HRQoL. Among them, depression was shown as the most significant predictor of HRQoL in the elderly ($R^2$=.573, p<.001). Conclusion: These results indicate that strategies to relieve depression should be integrated in interventions to improve the QoL of older adults dwelling in a community residence.

  • As many brands use social media influencers (SMIs) on Instagram to advertise, not disclosing advertised content affects how consumers perceive these influencers. The purpose of this study was to investigate two objectives: 1) recent advertising disclosure types on Instagram and 2) the factors that affect consumer responses towards Instagram influencers posting advertised content. Using an experimental 2x2 between-subjects design (N=200), the findings show that "sponsored" and "paid partnership with" are two recent types of ad disclosures. However, both factors are insignificantly different from each other. Also, ad disclosure condition enhances the trustworthiness of the influencer than no disclosure. Ad skepticism, source credibility, and the level of persuasion strongly relate to how consumers perceive Instagram influencers advertising for brands. These factors enable consumers to assess if the influencer is a reliable source of information when faced with advertisement. Ultimately, using disclosure gives full information to consumers about the persuasive intent, as well as increases positive consumer responses towards the influencer who discloses, thereby, enhancing the ethical use of the influencer advertising strategy and long-term consumer relationship.

  • The purpose of the present study was to investigate dimensionality and psychometric properties of identified theoretical constructs of the 'Life Satisfaction Scale for Elderly(LSSE)', which was developed by Choi, Sung-Jae in 1986. Data was obtained from 'The survey of health and welfare status of the elderly aged 65 or older in Chung-Choo city'. The subjects were 275 elderly. Results showed that LSSE had a multi-dimensional structure with three theoretical constructs. Each theoretical construct was named as 'positive affect and subjective satisfaction', 'negative self image and affect', and 'self-value'. Three theoretical constructs had high levels of reliability and validity based on internal construct. 'Positive affect and subjective satisfaction' and 'negative self image and affect' showed high levels of convergent and discriminant validity. 'Self-value' had a high level of convergent validity but acceptable level of discriminant validity. Results of this study revealed that there was a difference in theoretical dimensionality of LSSE between this study and Choi's study, which explained the dimensionality of LSSE as a single dimension. However, the result of this study regarding theoretical dimensionality supported findings from existing studies which insisted that life satisfaction had a multi-dimensional structure.
