Analysis of Verification Methodologies Based on a SoC Platform Design

  • In a SoC (system-on-chip) design, a design complexity is a big bottleneck. In order to overcome the design complexity, platform based design method is widely adopted for designers. Most complex SoCs need a heterogeneous design development environment for hardware and software co-design. In this paper, we discuss about some kinds of verification approaches with platform based design methodology at various abstraction levels of SoC design. We separate the verification process to two steps according to the different levels of verification. We employ a flexible SoC design environment to support simultaneous hardware and software development. We demonstrate the verification strategy of a target SoC design, IEEE 802.11a WLAN SoC.

  • Stability and formation of Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3 (PMN) phase synthesized in Li2SO4-Na2SO4 molten salts have been investigated. And powder characteristics of PMN have been studied with a variation of processing parameters such as temperature, time, amount of the salts, and excess PbO. More ratio of Li2SO4 to Na2SO4 influences the percentage of perovskite phase due to the difference of the eutectic point of the salts, but does not influence the powder characteristics. The shape of PMN particles shows faceted morphology with bimodal distribution consisting with large and submicron parts. Particle size of PMN increased greatly with increasing soaking time or amount of salts rather than temperature. The addition of excess PbO resulted in round PMN crystallites without submicron particles. These results are discussed by XRD, SEM and thermal analyses.

  • The phenomena that excess sulfate hindred the C3S formation in the presence of clinker liquid phase were investigated. In the case of (NH4)2SO4, assuming SO3 atmospheric condition, sulfate stabilized C2S and was enriched at the surface of C2S grains, so C2S was prevented from being dissolved into clinker melt. CaSO4 showed the similar aspect with (NH4)2SO4, however, the prevention of C3S formation by CaSO4 took more influence that C2AS and C4A3 were formed below 100$0^{\circ}C$, and remained upto clinkering temperature, 145$0^{\circ}C$, thus these intermediate phases caught CaO which would participate the C3S formation.

  • According to the result of the observations on the effect of the reagents, $CuSO_4{\cdot}5H_2O$, $ZnSO_4{\cdot}7H_2O$ $MnSO_4{\cdot}4H_2O$, $HgCl_2$, upon the mycelial growth of psalliota campestris $HgCl_2$ showed the strongest effect on checking the mycelial growth $(,.008{\sim}0.01%)$ $CuSO_4{\cdot}5H_2O(0.030%)$, $ZnSO_4{\cdot}7H_2O(0.080%)$, came next and the $MnSO_4{\cdot}4H_2O(0.100%)$ was the weakest. Writer also found that showed the promoting effect of the mycelial growth in appropriate Concentration (at $0.015%\;CuSO_4{\cdot}5H_2O$, $0.030%ZnSO_4{\cdot}7H_2O$).

Calciumsilicate의 생성반응에 미치는 $SO_3$ 의 영향(I) (Effect if $SO_3$ on Clciumsilicate Formation (I))

  • In this study a Comparative investigation of the effect of $K_2SO_4$ and $CaSO_4$ on the formation of calcium silicate was made. $K_2SO_4$ had little effect on C3S formation. More than 4.0wt% of CaSO4 hindered the reaction of $C_2S$ and CaO so $C_3S$ formation was restrained by forming the reaction rim around $C_2S$ Particles. And activation energy for $C_3S$ formation was calculated around to be 40kcal/mol irespective of the amount of $K_2SO_4$.

복합시스템 가용도 분석을 위한 시뮬레이션 모델 연구 (A Study on a Simulation Model to Analyze the Availability of a SoS)

  • Today, most weapon systems operate as component systems of SoS(System of Systems) and they produce synergy effects in the battle field by interoperating. In addition, the acquisition issues on weapon systems have expanded into SoS context including sustainment analysis. Availability is the sustainment KPP(Key Performance Parameter) of weapon systems. In this paper, a simulation model is proposed to analyze the availability of SoS. The simulation model consists of 5 modules: Mission and Task, System, System RBD, Maintenance system and a simulation engine. Then it was implemented and applied to a SoS. As a result of the application, the simulation model could be applied for analyzing the availability of the SoS and provided information about critical tasks and risky component systems to complete the given mission of the SoS.

  • 순산소연소 조건하의 로내 탈황공정에서 황화반응 생성물인 $CaSO_4$의 재분해가 탈황반응에 미치는 영향이 크다. 본 연구에서는 DTF (Drop Tube Furnace)를 이용하여 반응온도, $CO_2$, $O_2$, $SO_2$, 농도 등을 포함한 다양한 실험 변수들이 $CaSO_4$ 탈황반응에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위하여 분해반응의 전환율을 측정하고 반응속도를 계산하였다. 반응온도가 상승함에 따라 $CaSO_4$ 분해반응의 전환율과 반응속도가 증가하였고 $O_2$가 존재하는 조건에서 $CO_2$ 농도의 영향은 크지 않았다. 동일한 조건에서 $CaSO_4$ 분해속도는 $O_2$ 농도가 감소함에 따라 증가하였으나 $SO_2$ 농도가 증가함에 따라 감소되었다.

수종 야초류의 카드뮴 내성에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Cadmium Tolerance of Some Native Herb Plants)

  • 카드뮴 내성 식물을 선별하기 위하여 5종류의 야초류의 카드뮴 내성검정을 실시하였다. 카드뮴 용액에 14일간 노출된 야초류의 발아율, 유식물의 뿌리와 지상부의 생장율, 생체량을 측정하였다. 어저귀와 털비름의 발아율은 모든 농도에서 90%이상으로 나타났으나 자귀풀과 물피, 식용피는 15 mgCdSO₄ /L에 노출되었을 때부터 감소하기 시작했다. 뿌리와 지상부의 길이 생장은 농도가 증가할수록 모두 감소하였으며, 생체량의 경우 물피, 식용피, 털비름은 대조구와 큰 차이를 보이지 않았으나, 어저귀와 자귀풀은 60 mgCdSO₄ /L에 노출되었을 때부터 크게 감소하였다. 또한 어저귀, 자귀풀, 털비름의 EC/sub 50/(Effective Concentration 50%)은 뿌리성장에서는 54 mgCdSO₄ /L, 77.5 mgCdSO₄ /L ,44.5 mgCdSO₄ /L이고, 지상부 성장에서는 114 mgCdSO₄ /L, 73.5 mgCdSO₄ /L, 38.6 mgCdSO₄ /L였으며, 생체량에서는 107.5 mgCdSO₄ /L, 67.5 mgCdSO₄ /L, 60 mgCdSO₄ /L였다. 야초류 간의 카드뮴에 대한 sensitivity는 뿌리 > 생체량 > 지상부 순으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 어저귀가 카드뮴에 대한 내성을 가지고 있음을 나타낸다.

장원소(張元素)의 생규(生涯)와 의학사상(醫學思想) (The life and medical idea of Jang Won-So)

  • Geum-Won dynasty is the era which totalized the every medical attainments of before Song dynasty and appeared some medical practioners who found new medical theory based upon this, and is important time for various developments of the oriental medical theory. At this time of the era, the representative practioners are called the four noted physician of Geum-Won dynasty. Jang Won-So who influenced the formation of the theory of the four noted physcian of Geum-Won dynasty, originated new theory by joining the theory of "Nae-Gyung" with his own medical experience. The results can be summarized as follows after studying his life and idea of medicine. 1. Jang Won-So, courtesy name is Gyeol-Go, came from Yeog-Joo and it is unknown that when he was born and dead, but he lived in 11C. At 27, after failed in a Jin-Sa examination, he started medical study, and widely spreaded his medical art by healing the Yoo Wan-So's Sang-Han disease. 2. There are many Jang Won-So's writings, such as "Eui-Hag-Gye-Won" which is the condensation of his idea of medicine, "Jin-Joo-Nang" which is greatly contributed to development of Herbology, "Jang-Boo-Pyo-Bon-Han-Yeol-Heo-Sil-Yong-Yag-Sig" which is the sample of Jang-Boo-Byun-Jeung-Lon-Chi, and "Yag-Joo-Nan-Gyung" "Gyeol-Go-Ga-Jin" "Gyeol-Go-Joo-Sug-Hwa-Mag-Gyeol" "Gyeol-Go-Bon-Cho" "San-Yog-Bo-Sang-Bang" which are known do not existing. 3. Jang Won-So's study about Jang-Boo-Byun-Jeung was influenced by "Nae-Gyung" "Jung-Jang-Gyung" "So-A-Yag-Jeung-Jig-Gyeol" etc. and outline by Han-Yeol-Heo-Sil and the change and prognosis of the state of disease can be decided by Saeng-Sa-Yeog-Soon, so he contribute to development of lang-Boo-Byun-Jeung-Lon-Chi of posterity. 4. Jang Won-So succeeded and develope the theory of the herbs of Oh-Jang-Go-Yog-Bo-Sa and about Ki-Mi-Seung-Gang-Boo-Chim etc. appeared on "Nae-Gyung", especially invented such as Kwi-Gyung-Lon, In-Gyeung-Bo-Sa-Seol, Jang Boo-Pyo-Bon-Yag-Sig and he enriched the content of pharmacological theory, so he motivated various development of herbalogical theory. 5. Jang Won-So's idea of On-Yang-Bi-Wi directly influence Lee Go's assertion of Bi-Wi-Lon, idea of Go-Geum-I-Gue-Seol presented theological basis of posterior medical practioners formation of prescription, so the way of drug usage greatly developed. 6. Jang Won-So's theory of the lang-Boo-Byun-Jeung and herbology directly influenced to Lee Go, Wang Ho-Go, Na Chen-Ik, lang Byeok etc. so he became the father of Yeog-Soo class and indirectly influenced to Seol Gi, Jo Hen-Ga, lang Gae-Bin, Lee Jung-Jae etc. of Myeng dynasty, so the On-Bo class has been formed. Like this, because, his idea of medicine developed at various aspect and greatly influenced to posterity, Lee Si-Jin said "Since the emergency of "Nae-Gyung", Jang Won-So is the only man who greatly enhance medical principle.", so it is clear that this is not unfounded expression at all.

유채의 SO42- 흡수 및 동화에 관한 연구 (SO42- Uptake and Assimilation in Forage Rape (Brassica napus))

  • 유채의 황 이용성에 대한 영향을 조사하기 위하여 유채 2 품종(cv. Akela, Colosse)을 2.0mM ${SO_4}^{2-}$와 0.2mM ${SO_4}^{2-}$에서 ${SO_4}^{2-}$ 흡수, ATP sulfurylase의 활성과 염조직내의 glutathione(GSH) 함량을 측정하였다. 0.2mM ${SO_4}^{2-}$에서 두 품종 모두 2.0mM ${SO_4}^{2-}$에 비해 현저하게 낮은 ${SO_4}^{2-}$ 흡수율을 나타냈다. 0.2mM ${SO_4}^{2-}$에서 APT sulfurylase의 활성은 어린잎에서 두 품종 모두 증가하였으나 성숙된 잎에서의 활성은 큰 변화가 얼었다. 0.2mM ${SO_4}^{2-}$에서 glutathione의 함량은 어린잎에서 두 품종 모두 증가하였으나 성숙된 잎에서는 Akela에서만 현저하게 감소하였다. 이러한 결과들은 유채품종간의 ${SO_4}^{2-}$ 흡수와 ATP sulfurylase의 특이성 뿐만 아니라, ${SO_4}^{2-}$ 흡수가 glutathione과 같은 황을 포함하고 있는 화합물로의 동화와 밀접한 관련이 있음을 나타낸다.
