스마트폰의 지속적 사용에 관한 이해: 물류분야의 택배서비스업 사례 (Understanding the Continuous Intention of the Smart Phone Use: The Case of a Delivery Services Company in Logistics)

  • The rapid changes in business environments are also applicable to the delivery service field. Numerous companies are using smart phones in order to perform work of the delivery service field that is rapidly developing every year. Smart phones established ubiquitous work environments where access to the server of the head office is possible through telephones, scanners, and the internet anywhere and anytime. However, although smart appliances including smart phones have been diffused, empirical analysis of use of them in actual has not been attempted much. In this regard, current study empirically analyzes how connectivity and context-awareness function of smart phones based on the TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) influence the continuous intention to use through trust, usefulness, and ease of use. The results indicate that the connectivity and context-awareness function, which are natures of smart phones, had impacts on the ease of use and trust, but not on the usefulness. Based on these results, this study suggests implications and future research directions regarding the planning and realization of smart appliances.

  • 최근 네트워크 환경이 확장되면서 스마트 기기 보급이 지속해서 증가하고 있다. 스마트 폰, 스마트 패드, 웨어러블 등 스마트 디바이스의 보급을 통해 스마트기술과 IT융합 기술에 많은 변화를 주고 있다. 스마트기술의 발전은 4차산업 기술의 핵심적인 요소이다. 4차산업 혁명은 IT융합과 스마트 디바이스를 이용하여 주거, 산업, 생산 환경에 지능적 요소를 추가하여 새로운 서비스 기반 산업을 확장 시켰다. 스마트 홈, 스마트 팩토리, 스마트 팜, 스마트 헬스케어 등 스마트기술을 이용한 다양한 서비스 제공에 관한 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 특히 스마트 홈은 사물인터넷 기기의 보급 확산과 센서 기술, 컨트롤 기술, 애플리케이션, 데이터 관리, 클라우드 서비스 성장에 따라 급성장하고 있다. 스마트기술을 이용한 스마트 홈 서비스는 거주자에게 편리하고, 유익한 서비스 및 환경 제공이 가능하다. 스마트 홈 서비스는 기존 홈 네트워크 서비스 문제점을 보완했지만 여전히 미비한 점이 많이 있다. 즉 스마트 디바이스 보급과 공급자 위주의 서비스 개발 및 서비스 연동은 사용자 환경과 사용자 상태를 고려한 서비스 제공에 한계를 가지고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 보완하기 위해 본 연구에선 고령자 상황을 고려한 스마트 홈 서비스 시스템을 제안한다. 제안방법은 기존 스마트 홈 서비스 제공 방법에 고령자 상황과 상태 정보를 반영하여 서비스를 지원한다. 또한, 서비스 지원 확장을 통해 지역 서비스 및 외부 서비스를 적절하게 지원하여 사용자에게 적합한 서비스 제공을 목적으로 하고 있다.

스마트카드 가상화(ViSCa) 플랫폼 기반 모바일 결제 서비스 제안 및 타 사례와의 비교분석 (Comparative Analysis of ViSCa Platform-based Mobile Payment Service with other Cases)

  • 본 연구는 스마트카드 가상화(ViSCa: Virtualization of Smart Cards) 플랫폼 기반의 모바일 결제 서비스를 제안하고 타 사례와 비교분석을 한다. 스마트카드 가상화 플랫폼 기반의 모바일 결제 서비스는 단말 가상화 기술을 이용하여 스마트카드 하드웨어를 가상화하고, 모바일 클라우드 기술을 통해 가상화된 스마트카드에 대한 통합 관리를 목표로 하는 Smart Cards as a Service (이하 SCaaS)이다. 스마트카드 가상화 플랫폼 기반 모바일 결제 서비스는 스마트카드를 가상화하여 클라우드에 저장한 후, 애플리케이션(이하 앱)을 통해 사용자 인증을 거쳐 모바일 클라우드에 저장된 스마트카드 중 한 가지를 선택하여 결제한다. 연구 범위 설정 및 사례 선정을 위해 선행연구에서 진행한 모바일 결제 서비스 분류 방식을 토대로 제안하는 서비스와 관련 있는 특징별, 서비스 유형별 그룹을 도출하였다. 공통적으로 기존 결제수단(신용카드) 정보를 모바일 기기에 저장하여 오프라인 매장에서 결제하는 특징을 지닌 것으로 나타났다. 도출된 그룹은 금융거래정보의 저장 위치에 따라 앱과 연결된 서버에 저장하는 '앱 방식'과 모바일 기기 내부의 보안요소(Secure Element, SE)에 금융거래정보가 담긴 IC(Integrated Circuit, 집적회로) 칩을 탑재하는 '모바일 카드 방식'으로, 2 가지 서비스 유형으로 나타낼 수 있다. 모바일 결제 서비스의 채택 요인 및 시장 환경 분석과 관련된 선행연구를 토대로 경제성, 범용성 보안성, 편리성, 응용성, 효율성, 총 6가지 비교분석을 위한 평가 요인을 도출하였으며, 스마트카드 가상화 플랫폼 기반 모바일 결제 서비스와 도출된 그룹에서 선정된 사례 5 가지를 비교 분석하였다.

기술준비도가 자동출입국 심사시스템 사용의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The effect of technology readiness on the usage of Smart Entry Service)

  • This paper seeks to investigate the effect of technology readiness on the usage of smart entry service. The questionnaires were distributed to passengers who were experience with smart entry service and structural equation modeling was utilized to analyze the data. The results revealed that optimism had a positive impact on perceived usefulness and insecurity had a negative effect on perceived enjoyment. Perceived ease of use had a positive impact on perceived enjoyment, perceived usefulness and intention to use. In addition, perceived usefulness had a positive impact on intention to use. The results from this paper can be used as basic knowledge for developing the smart entry service activation plan.

고령자 행위 패턴 기반 욕실의 지능형 서비스 패턴 개발 (Smart Services of the Bathroom Reflecting the Behavior Patterns of the Elderly)

  • A bathroom in house has been stressed not only as a space for physiology and hygiene but also leisure and healthcare. However, the bathroom is the most likely space where an elderly person can have an accident and it is uncomfortable space for them because of their deteriorating physical ability. So the purpose of this study is to help the elderly use their bathroom conveniently by providing smart service. Therefore, we carry out 18 smart service patterns that contain assistive devices and sensors for bathroom. Considering applicability and frequency, from among these service patterns, we suggest 4 service patterns. First is a fall prevention service. This service helps elderly use the bathroom safely at night. Second is a getting ready to go out service. This service helps the situation that elderly use the bathroom after getting up in the morning. Third is a security service in daily life especially before or after meals. And final is a service regarding personal hygiene service after returning home. This service helps to shower or bathe after return home. These services have positive influence in medical expense reductions, good health care and self-reliance of elderly.

  • As smart phones have become widely adopted, they have brought about changes in individual lifestyles, as well as significant changes in the industry. As the mobile technology of smart phones has become associated with all areas of industry, it is not only accelerating innovation in other industries such as shopping, healthcare service, education, and finance, but is also creating new markets and business opportunities. The preparation of thorough security measures for smart phones is increasing in demand. While offering excellent mobility and convenience, smart phones can be exposed to a range of violation threats. In particular, it is necessary to make efforts to develop a security system that can preemptively cope with potential security threats in the banking service area, which requires a high level of reliability. This paper suggests a security reference model that is considered for the smart phone-based joint mobile banking development project being undertaken by the Bank of Korea in 2010. The purpose of this study is to make a security reference model for a reliable smart phone-based mobile financial service, by recognizing the specific security threats directed toward smart phones, and providing countermeasures to these security threats. The proposed mobile banking security reference model is useful in improving system security by systematically analyzing information security threats to the mobile financial service, and by presenting the guideline for the preparation of countermeasures.

  • Smart-Phones are utilized in disaster management field because it can deliver disaster information to large population simultaneously and quickly, and provide accurate information through situation-based service using the LBS(Location Based Service). To study on the utilization of smart phone for disaster information collection and dissemination method, this study suggest a framework which connects smart phone by loading application for reporting disaster. The disaster monitoring and situation dissemination system framework using smart phone is composed of 4 parts. First, smart phone application enters image, video, voice and text information and location of the disaster. Second, the disaster report reception and situation dissemination server receives the information, save in the DB, and send through smart phone SMS. Third, store into disaster information database. Fourth, display the disaster report and management information on 2D GIS, support the decision making process in deciding whether to manage as disaster, and disaster management web service which disseminates situation.

  • 사용자가 시간과 장소에 구애 받지 않고 컴퓨터를 자연스럽고 효율성 있게 사용할 수 있는 환경을 의미하는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅은 네트워크와 센서(Sensor), smart devices, 무선 통신과 smart middleware(UPnP(Universal Plug and Play), Jini, HAVi(Home Audio Video Interoperability) IEEE 1394, PLC (Power Line Communication) 등) 등을 기반으로 Smart Space를 만들 수 있다. 그러나 여러 종류의 가전제품들이 늘어나고 수많은 사용자들의 요구를 충족시키기엔 smart middleware의 단일 제어로는 처리가 불가능하여 본 논문에서는 이기종간의 미들웨어간의 상호작용을 위해 개발된 OSGi(Open Service Gateway Initiative) Spec. 3에서 제공하는 서비스 플랫폼(Service Platform)을 기반으로 사용자/디바이스 관리 및 분산 시스템 등의 취약점들을 보완하여 Smart Space상에서 효율적인 서비스 번들을 관리하기 위해 MASBM(Multi-Agent Service Bundle Manager)을 제안하였다.

A Study on Smart Tourism Based on Face Recognition Using Smartphone

  • This study is a smart tourism research based on face recognition applied system that manages individual information of foreign tourists to smartphone. It is a way to authenticate by using face recognition, which is biometric information, as a technology applied to identification inquiry, immigration control, etc. and it is designed so that tourism companies can provide customized service to customers by applying algorism to smartphone. The smart tourism system based on face recognition is a system that prepares the reception service by sending the information to smartphone of tourist service company guide in real time after taking faces of foreign tourists who enter Korea for the first time with glasses attached to the camera. The smart tourism based on face recognition is personal information recognition technology, speech recognition technology, sensing technology, artificial intelligence personal information recognition technology, etc. Especially, artificial intelligence personal information recognition technology is a system that enables the tourism service company to implement the self-promotion function to commemorate the visit of foreign tourists and that enables tourists to participate in events and experience them directly. Since the application of smart tourism based on face recognition can utilize unique facial data and image features, it can be beneficially utilized for service companies that require accurate user authentication and service companies that prioritize security. However, in terms of sharing information by government organizations and private companies, preemptive measures such as the introduction of security systems should be taken.

교육실습에 참여한 예비 초등교사들이 테크놀로지 활용 과학수업 실행에서 느끼는 어려움과 요구 (The Difficulties and Needs of Pre-service Elementary Teachers in the Science Class utilizing Smart Technologies in Teaching Practice)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify pre-service elementary school teachers' difficulties and needs in the science class utilizing smart technologies. The participants were nine pre-service elementary teachers who had practical training at an elementary school and took classes related to technology, pedagogy, and science knowledge. The data was collected through semi-constructed and in-depth interviews. The documents such as participants' guidance plans, daily records produced in teaching practice was collected and analyzed. The results of the research are as follow: Pre-service teachers have usually used the technology as a secondary transfer media to convey the knowledge. We found that the pre-service elementary teachers had 15 difficulties in the science class utilizing smart technologies. In addition, they needed a class to focus more on teaching them by integrating technology knowledge, pedagogy knowledge, and science knowledge, and by sharing a real case of science class utilizing smart technologies.
