This paper reports a Ringer's solution detector and transceiver design for the efficient management of patients. The ringer's solution detection and transceiver consisted of the main control part, ringer's solution detection part, display and warning light part, wireless transceiver, and power supply part. The light receiving part of the ringer's solution detection part employed TSL260R-LF photodiode; light permeating part, Water-Clear type LED; and wireless transceiver part, the RF wireless data transceiver module, NR-FPCX. As a result of this Ringer's solution detector and transceiver design that can manage the patient efficiently, it was found that when the ringer's solution was detected by the double photodiode, the operating frequency was 11.95kHz; when it was not detected, the number was 9.6kHz. In the ringer's solution receiver, when the ringer's solution was detected, the number was 0. The corresponding unique RF code was displayed when not detected. The power used in the ringer's solution detection part was converted to the Sleep mode to operate under battery save mode. The ringer's solution transceiver can exchange wireless communication approximately within a 700m radius.

Since the emergence of neonatal infant orthodontics for treatments of cleft lip and palate with or without Robin sequence (RS) in Europe in the 1950s, advancements in design and scope of its application have been remarkable. As the first institution to adopt orthodontic airway plate (OAP) treatment in the United States in 2019, we saw a need for innovation of the original design to streamline the most labor-intensive and time-consuming aspects of OAP utilization. A solution is introduced using a systematic split expansion mechanism to re-size the OAP periodically to accommodate the neonate's maxillary growth. To date, seven RS patients have received this modified treatment protocol at our institution. Each patient completed full treatment using only one OAP. This innovative utilization method is aptly named the split orthodontic airway plate (S-OAP). Details of the S-OAP and its modifications from conventional OAP are reported.
One of the obstacles preventing the Zigbee protocol from being widely used is the excessive power consumption of Zigbee devices in low bandwidth and low power requirement applications. This paper proposes a protocol that resolves the power efficiency problem. The proposed protocol reduces the power consumption of Zigbee devices in beacon-enabled networks without increasing the time taken by Zigbee peripherals to communicate with their coordinator. The proposed protocol utilizes a beacon control mechanism called a "sleep pattern," which is updated based on the previous event statistics. It determines exactly when Zigbee peripherals wake up or sleep. A simulation of the proposed protocol using realistic parameters and an experiment using commercial products yielded similar results, demonstrating that the protocol may be a solution to reduce the power consumption of Zigbee devices.

Purpose : Community care occupational therapy is an integrated mediation method such as evaluating and mediating daily life activities, evaluating and modifying the environment, and providing information by visiting the home where the client resides. In this study, we examine the effect of implementing a community-care occupational therapy program on the levels of depression, quality of sleep, and quality of life of elderly individuals living alone. Methods : Among the users of organizations C and D located in City B, province A, South Korea, a total of 32 elderly citizens aged above 65 were chosen as the study subjects and randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group. For the experimental group, a total of 24 sessions, each lasting 60 minutes, comprising a community-care occupational therapy program and each organization's own program, were conducted, with each session conducted twice a week for a total of 12 weeks. On the other hand, those in the control group participated in the existing programs of their organizations. Changes in the levels of depression, quality of sleep, and quality of life before and after the intervention were compared using the GDSSF-K, GQOL, and GQOL. Results : Overall, the levels of depression, quality of sleep, and quality of life were found to improve among the experimental group after the intervention. In a between-group comparison of the changes before and after the intervention, the experimental group was found to exhibit a more statistically significant difference than that of the control group. Conclusion : The results obtained in this study confirm that community-care occupational therapy programs have a positive effect on the levels of depression, quality of sleep, and quality of life of elderly individuals living alone. This implies that such programs may represent an effective solution for the problems of these individuals.

PURPOSE: In this study, we tried to find out what kind of exercise was more effective in sleep disorder by comparing melatonin in blood after applying low intensity with high intensity exercise to sleep disordered rats induced by experiment. METHODS: We used male Sprague-Dawley rats which were 8weeks old and weighted 300g. They were supplied with water and food without any restriction. We kept the room temperature at $25^{\circ}C$ and controld the length of day and night in 12 hours blocks, respectively. We divided the rats 60 into 2 groups. To one group we applied low intensity exercise, and to the other we applied high intensity exercise for 15minutes per day over a period of 4 weeks. We extracted the blood from abdominal aorta before, after exercise, moved into EDTA tube, performed centrifugation. We decanted the serum $200{\mu}l$ from the blood into microcentrifuge tube by samples and moved into polypropylene culture tubes with micro pipette. We split enzyme solution $50{\mu}l$ into the tubes with melatonin direct kits and make them react at $37^{\circ}C$ for 2 hours. We split assay buffer $50{\mu}l$ into each tube and mixed melatonin tracer $50{\mu}l$ and melatonin antiserum $50{\mu}l$, respectively. After we made them react in room temperature, we decanted the superficial layer with a centrifuge and measured the activity for 1 minute by competitive method with ${\gamma}$-counter equipment. We draw a standard curve through logit-log graph with CPM(counts per minute) and counted the melatonin by B/B0. We conducted independent t-test to examine the homogeneous of melatonin value of before low-intensity and high-intensity exercise. We performed paired t-test to compare before and after low-intensity and high-intensity exercise, respectively. We carried out independent t-test to compare melatonin value after low-intensity and high-intensity exercise. Significance level was .05. RESULTS: The results were as follows; firstly melatonin was more increased in the group who was exposed to high intensity exercise when we compared before to after high and low intensity exercise, respectively. Secondly, high intensity exercise was more effective than low intensity exercise when we compared the two. CONCLUSION: In conclusion, secretion of melatonin which is the material of sleep improvement could be promoted by high intensity exercise. Low intensity exercise acted as a stress rather than improving sleep and had a negative effect on the secretion of melatonin because the melatonin was affected by stress.

Collagen peptide plays a protective role in skin by increasing the activity of antioxidant, acts like an activator of skin regeneration by positive feedback and is used as a potent candidate for cosmetics or functional food. GABA acts at inhibitory synapses in the brain by binding to specific transmembrane receptors of both pre- and postsynaptic neuronal processes in vertebrates, is also involved in the synthesis of melatonin and might exert regulatory effects on sleep and reproductive functions. In this study, we investigated the beneficial effect of a mixture of collagen peptide and GABA (J85091900) on skin and sleep condition in woman experiencing sleep disorder. We found that oral supplement with J85091900 significantly decreased the value of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), increased sleeping time by 7%, and also improved skin roughness (Ra, Rz, Rt), periorbital wrinkle (Ra, Rt), and skin capacitance in human. These findings indicate that dual strategy with which skin improvement is accomplished using collagen peptide and sleeping well is acquired using GABA could be the novel solution for sleeping beauty by edible cosmetics to improve skin status.

A sleep disorder is being recognized as one of the major health issues related to high levels of stress. At the same time, interests about quality of sleep are rapidly increasing. However, diagnosing sleep disorder is not a simple task because patients should undergo polysomnography test, which requires a long time and high cost. To solve this problem, an accelerometer embedded wrist-worn device is being considered as a simple and low cost solution. However, conventional methods determine a state of user to "sleep" or "wake" according to whether values of individual section's accelerometer data exceed a certain threshold or not. As a result, a high miss-classification rate is observed due to user's intermittent movements while sleeping and tiny movements while awake. In this paper, we propose a novel method that resolves the above problems by employing a dynamic classifier which evaluates a similarity between the neighboring data scores obtained from SVM classifier. A performance of the proposed method is evaluated using 50 data sets and its superiority is verified by achieving 88.9% accuracy, 88.9% sensitivity, and 88.5% specificity.
It disposes positively in the air pollution damage which is serious, in order help period the place where it improves the quality of existence and life of the local residents. It removed the offensive odor regulation material and the technique it will be able to prevent to sleep it researched it did. After scattering the GNC solution which develops the offensive odor regulation material which occurs from the food and trash treatment plant which is located to the S from the H, company after scattering the GNC solution which it develops collection it did a control criminal record control kind air and it analyzed. In this study, we investigated the emission concentrations of offensive odorous compounds of hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, dimethyl sulfide and dimethyl disulfide, trimethylamine, formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, propionaldehyde, buthylaldehyde, iso-valeric aldehyde, n-valeric aldehyde, ammonia. The concentrations of odorous compounds are determined by gas chromatography, HPLC and uv-vis spectroscopy. Hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, dimethyl sulfide and dimethyl disulfide were not detected at any point examined.
The aim of this study is to determine if intra-bursal morphine and Bupivacaine mixed infusion provided useful analgesia after subacromial arthroscopic operation. At the end of the subacromial arthroscopy, continuous intra-bursal infusion catheter was inserted. In a double-blind randomized trial, Sixty patients were allocated to one of two groups: placebo group(n=30) received continuous saline infusion. Study group received mixed 5㎖ of 0.5% Bupivacaine, 2㎎ of morphine and 0.05㎖ of 1/1000 epinephrine as bolus and mixed solution of 40㎖ of 0.5% Bupivacaine and 8㎎ of morphine as maintenance dose with continuous infusion pump(0.5㎖ hourly). In the placebo group, two patients were discontinued due to leakage and catheter coming out each. Intensity of pain was evaluated preoperatively and postoperatively for 3 days by 10 graded visual analogue scale. Night pain, pain on motion, sleep disturbance, lying on painful shoulder and amounts of intramuscular pain killer were recorded. Analgesic effect for pain was cleared at 1st and 2nd postoperative day and there was less sleep disturbance for 3 days postoperatively in study group. There was no difference in pain on motion postoperatively. In study group, less pain killers were used in the first 48 hours postoperatively. The continuous intra-bursal infusion decreased perception of pain at resting stage and reduced supplemental analgesic requirement for 2 days postoperatively.
